"Hey, River," Jake muttered to the little boy. "Fancy getting a good view? Like the view you get when you fly? Superman is always up above everyone else, right?" he asked, giving the boy a wink. "Wanna sit up on my shoulders?"

Bwaha. Jake remembered when he used to sit on his mum's friend's shoulders when he was tiny. That was a very vague memory, though. "You can take your drink up there... use my head as a table."

It was milk, right?

Ewwwww...

River turned his attention to the scary-looking boy but nonetheless, he actually liked him. He looked up and opened his mouth in amazement when he offered to make him sit on his shoulders. This was probably the first step on becoming a Superman. First ride on shoulders and then on to flying! "Yesh! Yesh! Pleash!" He started jumping up and down and putting his hands in the air, one carrying his tumbler and the other just reaching for Jake's hands. And he was tall... it got him even more excited.

"Pleaaaaashhh!" He started to beg and wanted to be on his shoulders right away! River was going to see everyone and ... it was going to feel like he was on Neverpeak Mountain. Yes and he was sooooo close to being a Superman.

He continued his jumping and his flailing.

Elizabeth nodded a little as Lima spoke about meeting Robert. It really was kind of odd that it had taken them so long to meet, but then, he'd been awfully busy with Quidditch since graduation. Which was weird to think about, since it was so long ago. Seven years and not that much had changed. Not really. "I hope so too," she murmured, slipping her hands into her pockets as she realized once again people might notice the telltale sign that at least one thing had changed. And it seemed like Cedric had given up, so she didn't need to prove anything. But she smiled when Lima had mentioned River. "I've been looking forward to that. I mean, it's pretty weird that I haven't met him before, right?," she commented. Considering she'd practically known him since birth.

"C'mere, then," Jake chuckled, placing his hand's under River's arms and swinging him up and around, placing the boy on his shoulders and standing up at the same time. "I've got hold of you," he said calmly, keeping a loose but firm grip on the kid's leg's. "But if you think you're going to fall, just grab onto my hair, okay?"

Meh, he wouldn't mind.

It was a good job this place had high ceilings. There was no danger of River hitting his head.

Robert arrived at what he hoped was the right place this time after stopping by the house to change. He hated apparition, much preferring his broom but figured since his broom was rather expensive and he was attached to it he left it at home. Running his hand through his hair he looked down to make sure he was presentable and smiled. He had been gone for almost a week and couldn't wait to see Liz. He hated being away from her and especially since the last time he had seen her she was sick. A frown appeared on his face at the memory and how she had pushed him to leave. Every day he was gone he had wished he was with her and it had made his coach kind of mad.

Sighing he raised his hand and knocked on the door. His eyes caught sight of his watch and he sighed again as he realized how late he was. Looking around he put his hands in his jean pockets.

"Cos you don't want me to turn into a hot air balloon?" Clark suggested. "Hey, buddy, who are you?" he turned to the little boy who had repeated what Raisin had said and called him...erm, BooBerry head. He was Lima's child or something, right? Someone's. Anyway, apparently he liked Jake.

And then he spied a man who he knew was married to one of his best friends aunts-he had visited them while he was there taking care of all the kids with him.Oh, well. He turned back to the toddler.

"Hi! My name is Clark!"

As Elizabeth waited for Lima to respond to her comment, completely understanding how chaotic it seemed to be in the room, she heard a knock on the door. And after spending seven years with him, she pretty much recognized the knock. "Excuse me," she said to Lima with a grin. "I think at least one part of your request can be taken care of." She hoped nobody had a problem with her answering the door.

Heading over, she opened the door and then immediately wrapped her arms around Robert. "You made it!," she said happily, before moving back and grabbing his arm to drag him inside. "How was your training camp?," she asked as she managed to at least get him inside the door. "And I have someone who wants to meet you." She knew she was almost babbling, but she couldn't really help it. She kind of got that way every time he had been gone for a while.

Robert was looking at a strange looking tree when he heard the door open and was about to say something when he felt arms around his waist. Chuckling he smiled fondly and wrapped his own arms around Elizabeth. "Of course I made it. I told you I'd be here and when have I told you something and never did it?" He was about to lean down and kiss her when he found himself being pulled into the house. A large grin appeared on his face and he followed willingly, "It was...fine." He didn't want to tell her how he'd been more worried about her and instead looked around as he shut the door behind him.

As she kept babbling he couldn't wipe the smile off his face as he watched her. Oh how he loved her. Seven years and she hadn't changed at all. Using his strength for once instead of letting her lead him around he pulled her close to him and hugged her tightly, giving her a kiss. "I missed you."

Kris chuckled. She did look older, but not by much. At least she still looked good as a mother, which is a hard thing to accomplish. She made it look so easy, even though she was five years younger. Eeeep.

"I know, but it's sad Maddox wasn't here," he said. "I would have liked to have seen him again. And River? He's adorable. He looks like both of you."

Oooooh! Babysitting! Wheeee.

"Of course I'll babysit!" she said, sweeping the little kid into her lap while he drank his milk. "I'll need practice. So will Kris, since he's going to have kids soon. And I will in the future, it just depends on when."

"A long time from now," Kris said, laughing and sitting on the other side of his sister.

Karma smiled as River reacted to not liking being called cutie pie, and would rather be called Superman. Well alrighty then, she would call him Superman. And he could speak very well, except for the grammar. But that was fine, she expected it.

"Okay Superman," she said, bringing him up closer to her. "I'm happy you're doing well. I'm Karma."

Then Jake reentered the room, and swept River off of her lap. Aww, poo. At least he was having fun being the Superman he always wanted to be. She couldn't help but laugh at it - he was adorable.

Karma listened as he spoke about his business that he was running. Nice, he was now a world traveler and part owner of the clothing store. Now that was impressive. But she remembered when they first met - and how he helped her pick out her outfits for the next school year. He was good at that, so it didn't surprise her.

"That's awesome, Em," she said. "I was working with Kris in the Ministry, then was sent to Germany for an international meeting and training development of how to handle certain mysteries and such. Considering they have a darker history, they held it. And I worked there for three years, and came back from my vacation just in time for this."

Aww man. Now he was asking if she was engaged or married. Meh, she was neither, but it wasn't as if that was such a bad thing really. She was working, getting established - and as soon as that was over, she would settle down.

"Ah, actually," she said, glancing over at Kris. "I'm neither. But I've been dating Kris' best friend for a while, he actually came to Germany with me. We both work in Level Nine with Kris. It's not too serious, though." She had to add that - just in case.

Kris' eyes fluttered up to Diana, who was now walking into the room with the rest of them. His smirk came back to his face, as he knew she had heard him. Had wanted to see if he was in here still, as if to say 'ohh lookit me'. Nah, she wasn't like that, but still.

"Miss Saenz," he said, nodding his head. Oooh, there was a rock on her finger. "Who's the lucky man?"

Karma coughed slightly when Diana entered the room, as if she had passed over her. Karma and Diana had never been the best of friends, but the least she could do was say hello after so long.

"Hey Dianaaa," she said, happily.

Elizabeth laughed slightly as Robert spoke. "No . . ." Of course she knew he followed through when he said he'd do something. But after being alone for a week, it didn't change her excitement at seeing him. Besides, just because she had managed to find the location didn't necessarily mean he would have. And then she heard his answer to her question, and she turned back from dragging him inside to narrow her eyes at him a little. "Okay," she said. If he thought she wasn't going to notice that he was hiding something, he was sadly mistaken.

But then he had stopped moving, and suddenly she found herself drawn back to him and crushed in another hug. He didn't exert his strength against her a lot, so she knew it had meaning. She smiled softly as he kissed her, at the moment not caring who might see, and then whispered back to him. "I missed you too."

Glancing down at Karma again, Jake poked out his tongue... agaaaiiiiin. "Sorry," he remarked, grinning a little. "I'm gonna be looking after him through this concert, too," he added, rolling his eyes playfully. Anyone could see he wasn't that bad, and he reached up to rub River's back.

Reese was sitting on the couch, listening to everyone talk. She looked around the living room and then decided she better go and see who was all here now. She stood up and walked into the kitchen, but before she talked to anyone, she threw the bag of ice in the trashcan. She wiped her wet hands on her pants and then she looked around the room.

"Hey everyone," she said with a smile. This was like one BIG friend reunion. There were some friends she just hasn't seen in a while. It was so good to see everyone, again. But, there was only one person she wished was here right now and that was her cousin, Keith. But, Keith decided to go to the Bahamas with Ryan for the week. Lucky him.

"Weeeee!"

River giggled some more while being picked up and grinned, showing his small, still-growing teeth. He put his tumbler onto Jake's head like he said he could and he hadn't really cared if the boy's head was going to freeze or anything (it came from the refrigerator after all). Right now, he just imagined he was Superman and he was flyyyingg and that no one really held him. "Whooooshhhhh!"

He faced the boy who's name he thought was Blueberry Head and smiled even more. "Haiiiii Booberry!" River playfully, with one hand, slapped Jake's head while smiling even more. "Clahk? I'm Rivahhh but I'm Supahman too!"

Turning his head back to the other girl, he waved. "Kahma look at meeeee! WHOOOSHHHH."

"Hiiiii Superman!" Clark-err, BooBerry Head- exclaimed to the little kid River. "Are you slapping the bad guy?" he asked, hit Jake twice,and laughed. Clark gave Jake a 'I'm only doing this for River' look, which was not completely true...it was fun slapping him. And giving him hugs. And trying to force-feed him. "Supermaaaaannnnn allllwaaaaaayyyyys saaaaves the dayyyyyy!" he exclaimed. He was good with children-growing up with eleven siblings helped a little bit.

"You're flying!" he noticed. "Wow! I wish I could fly!" he exclaimed.

Shana looked around and then spotted Clark.Yeah,Yeah.She was suppose to be trying to avoid him buuut like she was loner at the moment and plus River was over there and No one could rissite River,He waaas just waaay tooo adorable.She walked over and leant her chin on Clarks shoulder,which was kiinda hard seen as he was atleast 3 inches taller than her.Hii 'Fellas.She gave a little smile at Clark and Jake then She winked at River and smiled.Haai SupahDuude.How's it goin' ? she beamed and smiled at Jake.

"Well, I think they are hawt," she said winking at him. "Thank you for agreeing. I know you won't take your eyes off him for even a minute." Jake was such a great guy. Shame he didn't really let others see it too often anymore.

She heard someone calling out from the stairs then. "Blueberry Head!" she exclaimed using her son's new nickname for him. She smiled at him.

She blushed at the compliment. "I try," she said smiling. And she did try really hard. "So what's going on with you lately, Shana? You got a boyfriend." hehehe


She smiled as she heard him talk with the others. He was such a good little boy.

She raised her brow at the look on Liz's face when she hid her hands in her pockets but she didn't comment. She was too busy and distracted at the moment to wonder what was up. Then she laughed. "Yes, I guess it would be. But now you get to watch him be Superman." She smiled as she watched him sit on Jake's shoulders. Oh, she had made the perfect choice in babysitter!

She waited when Liz went to answer a knock on the door then saw him. Obviously he was Robert. And he and Liz seemed so sweet together. Awww. She suddenly didn't want to intrude on them. But she also wanted to meet him. "Hi, Robert, I'm Lima." She smiled at him.

She sighed. "It really is. I wanted him too." But he had a big case to work on. That's all he would tell her. "Thank you," she added grinning. Everyone told her that. And he was the cutest thing ever!



She watched River and her together. "Yep, you can definitely babysit him."

She laughed at that Kris comment. "I bet he'll be a great father."

Then Jake came and took River. Too bad for Karma. But she was liking Jake with River. He was always good with her son.

She waved to him as he was on Jake's shoulders. He was so precious. "Just you be careful baby!" She was worried that he might fall. "How cool is it to be Superman, huh?" Jake was so smart doing that. He loved it when his father did that too.

Elizabeth's attention went back to Lima as she noticed the quick eyebrow raise, but then smiled as the conversation simply went on. "Superman, huh?," she asked, glancing over to see a little boy on the shoulders of someone with green hair. Wait, was that Jake? At least Lima seemed comfortable with him taking care of her child. Because remembering some of the things way back when, she wasn't sure she would have been.

She turned back around from Robert, still remaining inside the hug just turned around to face Lima again as she heard the other girl speak. Smiling again, she tilted her head up to look at Robert, like okay, this is who I was talking about earlier.

Shana smiled a winked at Lima.I know you do.I know you do. she beamed.Umm Noothing Muuch.This and that been at hogwarts you know,the usual and Yourself ? she beamed.She gulped as Lima asked about her boyfriend.Umm- Yeah. she said looking down at her feet.Come over here a minute. she pulled Lima's arm and pulled her over to one side.I kiiinda sorta started dating him in 6th year cauuse I wanted to get back at Jake and you know Clarks his best mate and theen I sorta like him a bit now. she said in the quitetest whisper possible,Hoping Clark nor Jake didn't hear.

Clark stood up. "Actually my name's Clark Landers. I'm a friend of Jake and Raisin-Reese, I mean." he grinned. "You must be Lima." he guessed. "Superman's mother?" He then saw Shana take her away and he walked back over to River. "Is that your mummy Superman?"

Mhmmmmm... so Jake was being slapped upside the head by a 2 year old and a nineteen year old.

Wasn't he special?

Staying quiet, as he usually was these days, Jake shifted his weight from each foot, like baaaack and forth, slowly, so it wasn't bad enough to upset River's stomach. Most of the times he was addressed, Jake ignored it, not really tuned in anymore, only focusing on the kiddie atop his shoulders. Toterly missing Shana talking all secretive, like, to Lima, Jake eyed that one girl he'd seen when he was at the top of the stairs... the one he remembered from his first year... Elizabeth? Cue the sticking out of his tongue.

"We're going for a fly, Superman, okay?" Jake told River, cautiously moving through the people, making sure he was bent over a little, so there was NO danger of the kid falling, even though Jake had a good grip of him.

Stopping by Lima, unaware that he was intruding on a private conversation, Jake turned too the mother. "When's Cam getting here?" he asked, glancing quickly over at Shana before looking back at Lima. "And I was also wondering, if later, maybe... if everything goes okay..." Jake mouthed the rest of his sentence. If I could take River around on my broom, later. You know, slowly, and nice and low... and if he behaves...?

She nodded as she watched Jake and her son. "Isn't Jake great with him? He's looking after River during the concert." Jake was such a great guy under all the piercings and the crazy hair.

She nodded as she listened to Shana. Though she raised her brow as she was dragged off. Leaning in to hear what the girl had to say, she frowned slightly. She didn't think that Jake would get jealous of that, but she refrained from commenting. "So how are things going between you two then?" She hoped good. And she wasn't fond of the whole dating someone to make someone else jealous thing.

"Nice to meet you, Clark. I've heard Jake talk about you." So she could see that both Jake and his best friend had a thing for odd coloured hair. She nodded at him proudly. "Yep, that's my son. Isn't he precious?" She waved at her baby.

She heard Jake whisper at her and became thoughtful. He was being very good with River... As she imagined that he would be. And he was careful. "Okay," she whispered back. "But I want to be nearby at the time. Just to be safe." She hoped that he would get that that was for her piece of mind, not her lack of trust in him.

"Clahkkk," River repeated, just to get that name stuck in his mind. But he enjoyed calling him BoooBerry Head because it was like some superhero name. Superman wasn't really Superman's name. Maybe this BooBerry Head had special powers like him tooo! He kept slapping his Superman hands on Jake's head and giggled aloud so that everyone could see he was having some fun and that he was flying.

"Bad guy?? OOOH. Yesh he's baddd guyyy!"

He had been just playfully slapping at Jake's head but now thinking him as the bad guy, he continueddd to do it. BooBerry Head had a wonderful idea! "I dooooooo! Everyone lookit meee!" He put one hand in front of him and imagined he was flying. "Weeeeee! Hehhaha!"

FUN FUN FUNNN. "You could fwy too BooBerry Head. Ask Jakee!" Maybe Jake could have taken one more person on his shoulders, right?! He faced the girl who called him SupahDuuuude. SupahDude? It seemed even betterr! "Haaiiiii! I'm flyyyingg!"

And she could already see that by the way he was doing all of this, he was surely having some fun. He looked back at BooBerry Head and smiled. "Yesh she's mah mummeh! She's the BESTEST mummeh in the worldddd!" River turned his attention back to Jake and smiled. His high-pitched laughs continued when they really flew.

"Weeeee," he continued.

She watched her boy and how he was being such a good boy. He would get to ride on the broom later on. And he would get a present besides that. For being such a good boy with mummy and her friends "Sweetie, you want Mummy to get you a present after the concert? What would you like?" Something having to do with Superman she was guessing.

With a pop, a rather short woman appeared, looking uneasy. She looked around her and made note of her surroundings. It was a beautiful home, Sam had to admit, and she was happy to see her cousin and her son. It has been awhile since she had seen her family. It wasn't like she didn't want to see Lima, it's just been hard. It hasn't even been a year and she has moved into three different homes, gotten married, and had a son of her own. Sam didn't even have the time to cut her hair, which was almost past her lower back. She has been busy, but it was nice to be able to get away from all of that now, and enjoy herself.

Jumping slightly at the sound of a pop to her right, Sam turned and sighed in relief. "I don't know about this Milo. What if something happens to Aleks? He's only a little thing right now." she said skeptically. She wasn't all that happy leaving her son. It was her first time and she had somehow became the worried mother.

A pair of honey colored eyes opened as a tan looking man reappeared. His mahogany colored hair was a bit long, getting into his eyes when the wind blew, but he didn't seem to mind. He wore a pair of ripped up jeans and a forest green button up shirt. Standing next to his wife, the man looked truly happy.

Looking down at her, Milo couldn't help but smile. "Samantha, he will be fine. He is with Benny. Everything will be fine." he told her, and made himself believe. Samantha had been talking about the concert for weeks, and he couldn't let her bail out now. He knew she wanted to be here, and plus, he wanted to meet her cousin. She sounded like a bubbly girl. It was time he met her. Taking her hand into his own, he walked up to the house, noticing how magnificent it looked. He then gave her a gentle smile, before walking inside, the door being wide open.

Sam nodded at Milo's words. He was right. Aleksander will be fine and she was just being a worry wart. Besides she was excited to be here. Looking around the crowd, she looked for a certain blond. Not spotting her right away, Sam led Milo toward a couch. "Lets sit. My feet are tired." she said. Milo chuckled next to her and got comfortable in his seat.

Reese made her way through the crowd to find Lima. She noticed Jake with River and gave them both a little smile. She needed to apologize to Jake for forcing him to eat that sandwich. She [i]really[i] shouldn't have forced him to eat, but Jake needed to eat something before they headed into the sun/heat. She didn't want him to get sick for not eating anything and for being out in the heat all day. Was she looking out for her brother? Of course she was. She loved Jake and didn't want anything happening to him.

She finally found Lima, who wasn't too far from Jake. She was talking to a group of people. She made her way over to her friend and tapped her on the shoulder. "I'm going to head down to the beach now to make sure everything is okay before the guest go down there," she explained. "Just wanted to tell you that, so if you needed me or something you know where I'm at." She smiled at her friend then she started towards Jake, who was carring River around on his shoulders.

"Jake," she said. "I don't want you mad at me for the whole concert, okay? I'm sorry that I forced you to eat that sandwich, but you needed to eat something. Your getting too skinny." She poked his stomach. Yes, he WAS getting too skinny. "Anyways, I'm heading down to the beach now to make sure everything is alright before everyone heads down there. If you need me, come and get me," she added. She stood there and waited for Jake to say something before she left.
