She smiled and nodded at Reese as she talked to her. Though her eyes were still on River. "Okay," she said as she watched her little goofball pretend to fly. "Hopefully Miles, Vannie and Grace will be here soon. As well as Whit." She was eager to start and 3 of her band mates were MIA. Sigh.

"He's a really bad guy, Superman. You should see him around sugar." Ouch. Jake hadn't had a sugar problem since...a loooong time ago, when he discovered what a girlfriend was and he sprouted to his full height from his midgety stature of 4'5. "You know what? I do wanna fly." That probably wasn't the best idea though, Clark was still an inch taller than Jake. Mwaahaha! "Jake? Pwetty pleeese?" he asked with puppy dog eyes.

Which had a strange maniacal glint.

He probably could make River really levitate, but of course, Lima would kill him. Or he could levitate Jake, but how could he do that without hurting River?

"Superman! I need your help!" he called. "The meany Broccolli Head's getting me!" Achoo.

Robert looked up from his embrace with Liz when he heard someone speak and he smiled with a nod, "Hello, nice to meet you. Thank you for inviting us." He kept his arm tight around Liz and looked around. There were a lot of people here...and a lot of them he didn't know.

Catching Liz's glance he smiled and kissed her cheek whispering quietly in her ear like he used to in school so know one could hear, "I don't know anyone here." It didn't bother him really but it didn't make him exactly comfortable. Leaning back up to his full height he looked around and then down at Lima, "So...you have a son?" He'd never been with or even around kids before this would prove...interesting.

"Cool," Jake started to nod, before remembering he had that tumbler on his head, so he instead gave Lima a little smile. "I can totally understand that," he agreed, his eyes drifting off and starting to sweep the room. "Ouch," he exclaimed suddenly...

That little monster was slapping his head again. "Quit encouraging him, Clahkkk," Jake muttered to his friend, who was still a leeeeettle taller than he... but with regards to age... Jake was kinda...

Better.

"Where'd'you wanna go next, littl'un?" Jake asked the boy currently residing around his neck.

The little monkey.

Well looky who it is. The one and only Sis-zilla. Jake fixed the girl with a piercing stare, his face not giving anything away as she apologised and explained yada yada yada. Then she poked him in the stomach.

Such violent people.

"I wouldn't do that when I have Superman on my shoulders," Jake pointed out. Jeez, if she went a little closer to the right he would have flailed and River would be loooooong gooooooone. "It's fine..." he nodded, blowing a few strands of hair out of his eyes.

"Oi, you," Jake muttered to Clahkkk, resisting the urge to nudge the boy in the ribs. "Don't. Even. Think about it," he added, looking darkly at the guy. "And River... I'm watching you," he muttered, moving his eyes up so he could see the little boy... even though he couldn't.

What to dooooo...

More sunscreen? Yes...

Reese glanced up at River Superman and smiled. Lima and Maddox had such a beautiful child. She smiled at him before she look at Jake. Why did her brother have to be sooooo tall? She felt like a midget when she was next to him. She liked it better when he was 4'5 and she looked down at him, now she had to look up at her brother. Nope. She didn't like it at all.

When Jake said it was fine, she smiled at Jake. "I love you Jake. I really do," she told him. If he didn't know she loved him already, he knew now. "Anyways, I got to get down to the beach before more people show up. I'll see you in a little bit," she quickly added. She walked away and headed into the kitchen where the back door was located. She opened the door and headed outside. She closed the door behind her before she headed down the pathways.

Oh, wait.

She turned around and looked at some pretty yellow flowers she just passed. She walked back up the pathways and picked one of the yellow flowers. She started back down the pathway, smelling the flower as she went. When she finally made it to the beach, she walked over to the table where the food was located. Was everything here? It sure seemed like it. The table was filled with food of all kinds.

She headed away from the table and to the concert stage. She walked up the steps to get to the top of the stage and she walked over to her blue guitar, but before she picked it up. She looked over at her microphone that was on her microphone stand. Reese Upstead having a sparkling gold microphone. How awesome was that? After staring at her microphone for a bit, she placed the flower on the stage floor and then she picked her guitar up. After she got her guitar, she sat down on the stage right next to the flower.

Well, he seemed rather polite. "Nice to meet you too, Robert. No need to thank me. It was my pleasure having you come here." Liz was definitely a lucky woman to have a guy with his manners. She wasn't a totally girly girl even now, but she still believed in proper courtesy towards others.

"Yes, that's my son. His name is River and he just turned 2. You like children, Robert?" She asked this curiously, thinking that if he did he might be able to hold River at some point if the boy wanted to be.

"Thank you, Jakey Wakey. You are such a good boy. And a new person to call to babysit!" hehehe! Jakers was really impressing her as a mother. He was even letting River hit him in the face without flinching.

Yep, that was definitely an eyeroll coming from Jake just then. You are such a good boy. Puhleeeeease... he wasn't River's age, was he?

Right?

"I don't exactly mind looking after him," Jake pointed out, reaching up and rubbing the little man's back. "Maybe you should put some more sunscreen on him... you know, before we head out. Like, just in case," he added, not wanting to seem like he was taking control.

She ignored the eye roll and became thoughtful. "You're right. Maybe he could use more sunscreen. I don't want my baby getting sun burnt out there." That wouldn't be pretty at all.

"You could take him and do that... and I could go get changed, then I'll take him down to the beach on my shoulders..." he looked down at the long-sleeved black shirt he was wearing that went with his black shirt. "I need to do my hair and everything... this is how I slept..."

Too much information?

Nahhhh.

"That's fine, but just make sure that he stays far away from the water. I didn't bring his floaties with me." She sighed as she mentally kicked herself for that.

She just shook her head at him. "What am I going to do with you, Jakey?"

Robert smiled as Lima spoke and nodded again. He shifted slightly as he felt as if he was being analyzed by the girl and he ran his hand through his hair. It was when she talked about her son that he relaxed slightly. "Umm...children?" Or so he thought he was relaxing.... "I...well I never have been around them..much." He cleared his throat and looked down at Liz the talk of children making him slightly uncomfortable since they hadn't even discussed it yet after all he just proposed recently.

Change of topic. Deciding it was Liz's time for the spotlight and to take some of the looks he was getting away from him he held Liz tight and slipped his fingers through her left hand casually bringing it up, "Did Liz tell you the good news?" Well if she didn't the diamond was sure to give it away. It wasn't really large or outrageously pricey though he could have afforded that easily but it wasn't Liz. It was of moderate size though it was flawless. That he wouldn't budge on. He was nothing if not a perfectionist. And after giving it some thought he had decided if she wanted a bigger one he'd get her a bigger one in the wedding ring since she'd wear it longer anyway. His thoughts carrying away he looked at Lima and smiled though he still held Liz close knowing she hated being the centre of attention as much as he did and being his size and who he was, he was almost always the centre of attention.

River's eyes shined when his own mummy asked if he wanted a present. About thousands and thousands of presents came up in his mind and even if there were thousands and thousands of choices, it was very easy to pick what he wanted. He grinned and opened his mouth to say what he wanted to say. "Supaahhman! Mummy, I wanna see Supahman!" He wanted to see Supahmannnnn and fly with him! That was one of his dreaaaaamsss.

He looked back at BooBerry Head and giggled, so he followed what the blue-haired boy said and continued to slap Jake on the head again and again. It was funnnnn and he was acting like a real superhero now for hurting the bad guys!

"I fink you can fwy tooo! Hop onnnn!"

Okay so he thought Jake could carry the both of them but ... yeah. He opened his mouth yet again and looked at the head of the bad guy. HURTING him? River was Superman and he was supposed to save the civiliansssss! "Stopppp huwting him pweasseee!" And to teach the Green-Haired boy a lesson, he put his hand up and went down immediately, using his Suppahhman strength.

Finally his fun was over when Jake told his mum to put sunscreen on him. Awwe. He put out one hand straight towards his mummy while still holding his tumbler with the other.

"Will do, mother," Jake muttered, taking River down from his shoulders and handing him over to the mummy-woman. "And, just so you're reassured, I am a pretty darn good swimmer... but I'm sure it won't come to that."

I hope, anyway.

"Whaaaaaat? Reese was screaming at me to wake me up for breakfast... I didn't have time," he explained, ruffling River's hair as he left the kid with Lima. "I'll be right back," he said, before darting out of the room and heading up to the second bedroom.

Noticing his discomfort about that topic, she decided that it was best if it was just dropped. So she merely nodded at him then moved on.

"What news?" she asked slightly lost. Then she saw the way that they were with each other and it hit her. She was bright and she knew the only thing that this could be..

"You're engaged!" She squeed and grabbed them both in a hug.

She laughed at River and said, "okay, hunny, you can see Superman after the concert. Isn't that exciting?"

She was wondering who she could get to dress up like him and play with River when Jake suddenly handed him to her. "Oh, I know you are a good swimmer, but still... It better not come to that."

She nodded at the last thing he said to her before he went off. It was true that Reese was rather.. foreceful with him that morning.

"Okay, it's time for me to put more sunscreen on you. Then you can go out with Jake! What you think of that?" she told him as she headed over to her purse again and grabbed it while making sure that she had a good hold on the boy.

Then she headed to the kitchen with him and sat him on the table.

POP! POP! The sound of Apparition was in the air as two young women, one of whom was quite a bit taller than the other younger girl that could just barely be considered a young woman, appeared on the smooth, stone pathway that led towards the beach in one direction and up to the house in the opposite. A small child clung to the older of the two, burrying her head between her mother's shoulder and neck, her little fingers twisted and twirled one of the dark strands that were brought up into a neat ponytail, playing with her mother's hair while her own blew gently across her back, stirred from a slight passing breeze.

"Maybe we should wait," Now, twenty-four-year-old Savannah spoke softly, looking to her left for the opinion of her seventeen-year-old, barely of age sister. Though she didn't say or give away any visible suspicion, they both knew her quick once-over look was to make sure her sister had arrived the way she disappeared last. Thankfully, Kaitlynnh was perfectly fine, not a single toe was out of place in those red flip-flops of hers.

Kaitlynnh scowled, but bit her tongue and refrained from commenting on Savannah's concern. Sure, she had just gotten her apparition license after ending her sixth year at Hogwarts; she was new but that didn't mean she didn't know what she was doing. Really, what bothered her was no one ever looked at Julian that way. Atleast, that's what she told herself. But being truthful alot of things had been getting on her nerves lately. Earlier that morning she had snapped at Lucy and Johnny for wrestling around for the ball in the house, which for anyone that knew Katie well enough knew she'd never have screamed at her younger siblings for such a thing unless they had been in her way or causing too much chaos. Which they hadn't, in fact they were being good. She had also blown up at one of her best girl friends, Monique, the previous day. It was Savannah who insisted, and even went as far as to come home, into her room, throw beach stuff to her and a tote bag to put anything she wanted or needed to bring in it. Her older sister finished by warning her either she came willingly or she would side-long apparate and that ended the options.

"We don't know how long it'll take them to get the twins, let's go inside." Katie countered, shifting the bag strap on her shoulder and began leading the way down the walk way as if it was officially decided upon. She paused a moment, looking over her shoulder to see her sister following, still carrying her niece. The brunette stopped when they reached the kitchen door, now letting Savannah guide the way, despite her not being familiar with the area either.

Hayley, pointing behind them at the little bed of rocks gathered in the dirt between the grass and the pathway, declared happily "Mummy! Pwetty wocks." One in particular had caught her eye, instead of the normal gray and shadowy colored ones, this one was brown. Being a mere toddler, she hadn't even given it a thought that maybe it's coloring was caused from mud. As her attention shifted, she rested her head against her mother's shoulder, staring sideways at her aunt. "Uncew 'gend coming?" The small, dark haired child asked. Kicking her foot back and forth, she peeked up when they entered the house only to hide her face once more.

"Yes, very pretty rocks." Savannah agreed, though she hadn't really payed them any attention, naturally she would humor the little one. Hesitating at first, Savannah reached over and opened the door, saying a quick "Knock, knock" as if to announce the arrival of more friends and family entering the house. With one hand on the door and the other around the toddler on her hip, she nodded inside to indicate the obvious - 'Katie, go inside.' Taking in the lovely appearance of the kitchen, it wasn't even a second later before the fairly close voices reached her ears. One wasn't so distant, she noticed. Her smile brightened, seeing her cousin with her own child. "Look at that, Mummy Limabean." She said, letting the door close gently behind her, Savannah walked closer to the table where Whigalima sat with the little boy. Asking, "How are you?"

Kaitlynnh frowned, trailing after Savannah for the second time. She shook her head, her dark curls bouncing from the large, thick clip that held them up and off of the back of her neck. When she replied to Hayley, her tone held no emotion what-so-ever. "Nope. Legend isn't going to be here." It was a simple answer, and it was the best she could give her. Forcing a small smile, Katie then added assuringly, "But Alexis, Fred, Rari and Sparrow will be here soon." Slipping through the back door, she remained silent for another moment or so while Savannah greeted their cousins. Her smile became slightly more sincere, waving a silent hello to the pair as she took to standing beside Vannah. "Hey Lima, hey little cutie." Cutie was, of course, River.

She was just getting out the sunscreen from her purse when she heard Vannah's voice. Then Kaitlynnh. Which would mean that little Hayley was there too. River would be pleased as he loved her.

She turned to her family and smiled at them. "Hello, guys! Glad you could make it!"

She went over to them and gave each one a hug - having to bend down for Hayley.

She straightened up and said, "Look who's here to play with you, River!" She smiled happily as she was looking at his third cousin. She was such a cute little girl.

Ella was late. She knew that. She had to catch up some work back home. And Sad Jack couldnt accompany her. He had this stupid work at his uncle place in last minute. She shighed but not wanting to show it on her face since she was going to meet Lima after a long time. She had not seen her since her wedding. That pathetic day. No..this's not a time to recall those horrible moments.

Ella just landed on the doorsteps and dragged herself in as the door was wide opened. "Lima!!" she called out, searching around the place one by one. Where was she?

Then she heard the sound of Ella's voice. Smiling she called out, "We're in the kitchen!" She'd never get River's sunscreen on at this rate. Oh well.

Ella dropped her bag down on the couch in the living room and walked over to the next room. There she was! Sitting and talking with kids. One..two.....kids. All are Lima's?! she wondered.

"Hey! I'm so happy to see you Lima!" she went on and hugged her tightly.

She smiled and hugged Ella. "I'm happy to see you too! I missed you!" She let go of Ella and got a good look at her. She hadn't really changed since the last time she saw her. "How have you been? Oh, and you have to meet my son, River." She smiled at her little boy.

Ella looked down at her and her son. Her son! Haha. Her eyes widened in excitement. "Wow..is this your son?" she knelt down in front of him, his eyes running down from his head to teo. He looked like Lima. Exactly. "He look like you Lima. what's his name?" she asked curiously.

"Hello cutie!" she gently spoke to him, not to frighten him even at the first meet.

Shana shrugged.Umm Its alright like Yeaahh..It sorta started like the end of my sixth year so then Clark like left and there really wasnt that much to it apart from letters and summer and stuff.Annd the whole bit about me not acctaully liking him sorta ended kinda fast,Soo..she shrugged and glanced over at Clark,Jak and River.

Still firmly ensconced in Robert's arms, Elizabeth glanced at Jake again, especially with the way Lima had spoke of him. If Lima trusted him with River, the outward appearance can't be all that bad. But it was definitely weird, since she could vaguely remember the little boy from when they were all still at Hogwarts. And when Jake noticed her and stuck his tongue out at her, revealing yet another piercing in his head, she raised an eyebrow, although she remained quiet. Interesting how people changed over the years.

But she did glance back at Lima, and nod a little. "He does look like he's good with River. And I bet it helps you, knowing that someone you obviously trust with him can keep an eye out. So you can concentrate more on your performance." She hadn't really been around children for years now, not really since Jonathan's youngest had started going to school. And Lily was already eight, which was still weird for her to think about. The fact her neice was so close to being able to attend wizarding school. And she was able to stay in her thoughts for a while, since Robert and Lima were talking, sort of. Awkward talking, but that was sort of her own fault. Not to mention the fact Quidditch had kept him occupied a lot so he wasn't available most of the previous times she had seen Lima.

When she felt him shift to lean over again, she smiled as she broke free of her reverie when he kissed her cheek. Tilting her head to look up at him again in response to his whispered comment, she looked at him sympathetically. "I don't know too many of the people here right now either. But I bet you might know more than you think." She unobtrusively pointed out Jake, Shana, and Clark, before adding, still in a whisper. "And the girl who just left was Reese Upstead." Granted, she didn't actually know if he recognized any of the names she'd given him, but at least she'd pointed out the people she recognized. And then his conversation with Lima had gone on to talk about River, and if she hadn't sensed his discomfort when Lima had asked him if he liked children, she almost would have laughed. It wasn't that she thought she was so much more prepared when it came to children, but at least she had contact with her family. And it always made her feel bad to think about how he had always not gotten along with his father, even though she would never admit it.

And then it was her turn to feel uncomfortable, even though that was pretty difficult when he was still holding her like that. But he had also brought up the one thing she had been sort of not mentioning, even though she was generally pretty ecstatic over the whole situation. And she loved her ring. It was just, the focus was never on her, and she'd never gotten used to it. And now she knew he was trying to deflect attention from himself, which was amusing if she wasn't so nervous. When Lima seemed lost for a minute, she tried to relax. Maybe if her friend didn't figure it out, especially since Lima didn't seem to be looking at the hand Robert was holding up. And it definitely helped that Robert was still holding her close, because that always kept her at least semi-relaxed.

But then Lima figured it out, and next thing she knew she was squished between the petite ex-Huffie and Robert as Lima hugged them both. Eeping a little bit in surprise, she nodded as she tried to take a breath. For a little person, Lima could hug pretty tightly. "For a while now," she managed to say, once they had been let go and she could take in a deep breath. It had been since after the last time she had talked to the other girl, but at least a couple months. Long enough that she had gotten used to wearing the ring. But that was about it. She hadn't thought about any of the other stuff yet.

And then Jake had passed River back to his mother to get more sunscreen on, and she smiled at the two of them. "We can talk a bit later," she said to Lima, before the other two disappeared back into the kitchen. At which point she craned her neck around again to glance up at Robert. "And now I have a couple things to ask you about," she added, to him, narrowing her eyes in a mock threatening look that was pretty much ruined by the fact she was struggling not to smile again.

ooc: EEP! You forgot to put Sylvia on the guest list. ^^ (Well, actually, I never told you) I think Grace is about 4.

"Come on Gracie! Play the drums for daddy!" Miles grinned as he stood behind his dark haired daughter, holding her arms out and pretending she was air drumming. She was pretty unsure of what she was doing, yet she laughed and laughed at how silly her daddy was. "Mummy and daddy are seriously going to rock your socks off." Miles smiled down at her, and looked back at Vannie, hopefully she would agree that they were pretty guuurd. As they arrived at the large beach house, he picked up Grace from under the arms and held her to him, so she wouldn't get sand between her toes.

"I...I.. pwaeeen dwums!" Grace squeaked, atleast she had some idea of what's going on. She looked up at her mum for reassurance that she was doing it right, Grace didn't have to look up as much to see her mummy, thank merlin.

The nineteen year old rolled her eyes as her older brother played with his daughter, as if he was younger than her. "Don't baby her, Miles. She'll never grow up." Sylvia walked along side the three as they arrived at the beach house. She'd been here plenty of times and wasn't all that impressed. Was Sylvia ever? "Grace, you're a much better drummer than you're dad." She winked at her niece, making Grace giggle.

"Loookie! The stage!" Miles jumped up and down twice, causing Grace to go with him. Miles wondered if they knocked on the door or go straight to the concert stage or what. Where was Lima?!

Vanessa giggled as she watched Miles play with there daughter. Oh he was such a cute Daddy. "Of course we're going to rock." Vannie smiled, Miles more than herself though, because he was so awesome. She was really looking forward to the concert though, it was going to be fun. And Graccie could see River again.
When Miles picked up Grace, Vanessa stroked her daughter's hair, beaming at her daughter. She just hoped that the little treasure wasn't going to get sunburnt because that wouldn't be cool. She made a mental note to keep an eye on her.

"Yes Gracie darling." Vannie nodded, glancing up at Miles and smiling at him. It wouldn't hurt for Gracie to have a go. "But not when it's daddy's turn." She added, because Miles needed to do his cool stuff too.
"She's only little Sylvia...it won't matter." Vanessa smiled at Miles' sister. Gracie was only little, so she needed fussing for a while yet, before she was too old.

"Erm...I think we can go straight in Miles." She nodded, looking towards the door. Well nobody seemed to be there yet. "I wonder where Lima is."
