Hey everyone! I’m Ashley for those of you who don’t know me. I have been gone for a while but now I’m back and have decided to start another RP!!!!
Its Christmas themed so just hang with me!

Twas the night.....

The Holly Home is a home that was started for the students of Hogwarts, Beauxbatons, and Durmstrang to go when they can’t go home for Christmas. Whether you don’t feel like going home, your parents don’t want you to go home, or you have no home to go to the Holly Home is open.

Mrs. Pinkler is the old woman who created and takes care of Holly Home. She is the old grandmotherly type that everyone loves.

This year Mrs. Pinkler finished getting everything ready for all of the students to come. Everyone arrived and was having the times of their lives. Until one night, the children found Mrs. Pinkler dead. Not only was she dead but she was murdered. They knew for a fact that no one that other than the children had been in the home. Who had done it.....

"I'll tell you if you tell me why you think I'm appetizing," She said with a giggle. That was a fair enough deal, right? When he called her Royal Highness, though, another laugh escaped her lips. He knew how to act.

"You're right, you are stubborn. But you've forgotten about something," She said to him, and the paused for a bit. "You've forgotten that you're talking to Izzy Moreau here, and she always gets what she wants."

Noah could feel him wrap his arm around her. Of course it didn't really make her that much warmer but it was nice. As he put his arm down she looked up to him with a grin. Carter was nice, that was very evident.

Noah let out a small laugh. "That is for sure." She said with a nod as he said that he and Ian were different. "You two are night and day" And it was true. SHe had never met two different guys, but how come in some aspects she had similar feeling for them.

Finn saw the shock on Izzy's face as she agreed. He knew that she hadn't been expecting him to do that, however he thought that this would be interesting. He wanted to know what was on her mind, and to give away the one tiny secret that he kept from her would be simple enough.

He didn't say anything to her when she admitted to him that she hadn't been expecting that. That was evident from her expressions. Now however he could see the fear in her eyes. That although she didn't know it was a rather large clue as to what she was keeping from him.

And then all of the sudden she went off on him. He was guessing that it was something that she had been wanting to do for a while now. At first he didn't say anything. If you looked deeply into his eyes you would be able to see the anger. Yes it was there, for she had been the only one to tell him something that he had been needing to hear for a long time. But then the realization hit him and the anger left his eyes. "I know" was simply all that he said to her.

As he had put his arm back down, Noah had grinned- so that must have been a good sign. He liked those. He stepped towards her slightly so that their shoulders were almost touching- but far enough away that she could move easily.

He chuckled with her, thinking about the analogy. "Well, then Ian and I should be switched right now- since I believe I'm more sunny than he is!" he said with a laugh. "So, did you have fun talking with him?" he asked her.

Noah could feel Carter closer to her than he had been before. Once again she didn’t complain. The more and more time that she spent with Carter the fonder she grew of him.

“That you are” She said agreeing with him. Then she thought of how to word the answer to his question. “It was interesting that was for sure” She said honestly. That was one of the best ways that she could think to put it. “He is hard to figure out” She admitted. Of course that got to her, she always read people and could figure them out easily. He was a challenge though.

If it were any other girl, Carter would have pushed a little more. Taken her hand, or arm around the shoulder. But, Noah was different. He wasn't going to rush it- not unless she wanted him too.

Carter laughed at her agreement. "You noticed that, huh?" he said, a bright smile once again lighting up his features. He nodded but didn't reply at first as she mentioned their time together was interesting. Interesting could be good, it could be bad. Either way... it was still interesting. He blew into the cold air once more, but didn't take any notice of the steam. Watching her expression, he smiled slightly. "And you like interesting," he replied, raising an eyebrow.

And then he said two words, and those two words meant the world to her. She was relieved that he wasn't going to leave her because she had pointed out something obvious to him. She gripped his arm, and didn't let go.

"Let me help you, Finn," She whispered back. And now her heart was beating faster than ever because she knew she was about to tell him what was occupying her mind ever since she had met him, all those years ago here, at Holly Home. "Let me help you because...I care. I care about you and I want to help." She was breathless, waiting to see his reaction.

Then he felt her take hold of his arm. Oh merlin, let the games begin. He looked at her, still not saying anything though. But then it hit him what she had just said. She cared. Those were words he hadn't heard in a long time that it almost felt like an eternity.

He looked down at her meeting her eyes for a long moment. "Izzy you can't help. Thats just part of who I am, its how I deal with things" He told her his eyes not leaving hers once. If he believed that she could help he would let her. But she couldn't. No one could.

Once inside, Ian paced about for a bit. There were so many things running through his mind, including thoughts of what Noah was now talking to Carter about outside (though he tried to block those thoughts well out). After awhile, he was no more calmed down so he took a hot shower before changing into plaid pajama bottoms - no shirt. He laid back into the pillows on his bed and pulled out a book to pass the time.

Izzy had been right with what she had said earlier. She always tried hard to get what she wanted. But the thing was he didn't really want to change. Just the way it sounded, change for the better? Finn was truely content with his life.

"Izzy I don't want to change" He told her with some force behind it. Not enough to scare her or anything but enough to be noticed. "I'm sorry but I just don't want to" He told her.

"It's okay, you didn't hurt me, silly. I understand," She said, brushing her hair out of her face. "But thanks for apologizing. That must have taken guts," She said, trying to break the serious mood they had created.

He liked her, and he knew Ian did as well- but he wasn't going to tarnish a friend because of a slight competition. He would be open and honest- he didn't want to lose his friend after all. "So, shall we move on to a more fun topic?" he asked her, looking up into the dark sky.

THen she heard what else he said couldn't help but laugh. "Oh really now? What would those other means be?" SHe asked him.

She didn't really say anything when he spoke of Ian being a good interesting. Fact of the matter was that she agreed with him, but she wasn't sure what Carter's reaction would be if she said that out loud. Instead she just stayed quiet.

"We shall" She said to him with a nod of her head. Then she followed his eyes up to the sky. It was beautiful out here. She was starting to regret leaving the house without her sketch pad.

Finn watched as Izzy closed the space between them. Wow, he hadn't exactly been expecting her to do that. Of course he was not complaining though. "Wait, did you ever tell me what was occupuying your mind?" He asked her curiously. Was all that she had just said what had been on her mind? His eyes met hers and he stayed there holding her gaze. The truth was he really did like Izzy. Although she probably wasn't able to tell.

Izzy met his gaze and didn't break it. "Yes, I did. If you were smart enough, you would've figured it out," She said, stepping even closer now, so there was basically no room for either to move. She had told him what was occupying her mind--when she said she had cared, she really meant she liked him--a lot. But she didn't exactly say those words because she was afraid of rejection. But since he wanted to know so badly, and had agreed to tell her something in return, she had given in. "Now your turn," She said.

Finn thought about what she had said. She had tried to get him to change. She had said that she could help him. Was that what was occupuying her mind? Then again that was nice, seeing as how she was one of the only ones who had ever said that and actually meant that, who actually cared. Wait, that was it! She said said that she cared. He knew that in some twisted girl way she was saying something else, but he didn't really feel like thinking too much.

Then he noticed how she was now much closer to him than she had been before. There was virtually no room between them any longer. Being Finn though there was no way he was going to back up. He was content right where they where.

"Well Izzy," He said with his cocky grin. "You my dear just are. Its hard to explain you see." He said looking at her. "Maybe its the way you're stubborn, or the way you think you will get what ever you want. Maybe its how you pursue someone that no one else would ever even think of, or perhaps its simply that cute little smile you have" He had a large grin on his face. He said everything in the tone as if he were overexagerating and just joking. He was, he was acting as if he was over doing it even though every word he said was of truth.

Elaina walked up to her room and stayed in there for a while. She wondered where Mrs. Pinkler was. She hadn't seen her for a while.

Izzy continued watching him as he acknowledged the closeness between them--he didn't back up. She took this as a good sign and didn't move either.
She listened to him as he explained himself, trying not to blush at his words. She wondered if he was just joking around, or if he really meant it all. On the word 'smile', she couldn't help but grin at him, loving the way he was smiling at her.

"Uh-huh," She said as she brought her index finger up to her chin and made it seem as if she was thinking. "Is that all?" She joked, "Or is there more? Because you've explained yourself very well." The last part she said really quietly, dropping her hand back to her side.

She didn't really say anything when he spoke of Ian being a good interesting. Fact of the matter was that she agreed with him, but she wasn't sure what Carter's reaction would be if she said that out loud. Instead she just stayed quiet.

"We shall" She said to him with a nod of her head. Then she followed his eyes up to the sky. It was beautiful out here. She was starting to regret leaving the house without her sketch pad.

"See, you're not the only one who is observant," he said with a sly grin. He probably missed more than Noah and his sister did- but he was much more observant than most would give him credit for. When he was flirting with a girl, he noticed their nervous habits, their way of speaking- among a variety of other things. There was so much you could learn just from observation. He was a Ravenclaw after all- learning was a necessity.

As she asked about other means, he dropped back slightly to scoop up a handful of snow. "Well, there is the torture method- but I prefer something that involves a little more laughter!" he said, and taking his ball of snow tossed it right at her back.

OCC: Hey Everyone! I think its about time that we move onto the next day! The murder has already happened she just hasn't been found yet

Finn opened his eyes. For a moment he wondered where he was, but then he rememebered that he was as Holly Home. Then yesterday drifted back to him. Yesterday with Izzy.

She probably wasn't awake yet. But what if she was? Why was he acting like this. He had never acted like this before. Never. But then again he had never liked anyone like her before. He decided to go ahead and get dressed.

Noah awoke from her sleep to find the morning sun gleaming into her room. She looked out the window to see the shining snow. So beautiful. Snow was in her mind one of the world's most lovely things.

As she got read for the day, pulling on her dark wash jeans, red sweater, black scarf and black boots she thought back to the day before. Her day had been extremely interesting between both Carter and Ian. Her head hurt just thinking about it. She had a feeling that things were about to get a whole lot more complicated.

As she walked down the stairs she pulled her hair up into a messy, but extremely cute pony tail. She took in a deep breath expecting to smell the breakfeast that Mrs. Pinkler had promised to have ready by the time that they woke up. But there was nothing. She walked into the kitchen expecting to see the old woman. There was nothing. THen she headed for the living room. As she walked in she stopped dead in her tracks and let out the loudest high pitched scream she had ever given. Terror stricken Noah stared down at Mrs. Pinkler's cold dead body laying in the pool of blood.
