Hey everyone! I’m Ashley for those of you who don’t know me. I have been gone for a while but now I’m back and have decided to start another RP!!!!
Its Christmas themed so just hang with me!

Twas the night.....

The Holly Home is a home that was started for the students of Hogwarts, Beauxbatons, and Durmstrang to go when they can’t go home for Christmas. Whether you don’t feel like going home, your parents don’t want you to go home, or you have no home to go to the Holly Home is open.

Mrs. Pinkler is the old woman who created and takes care of Holly Home. She is the old grandmotherly type that everyone loves.

This year Mrs. Pinkler finished getting everything ready for all of the students to come. Everyone arrived and was having the times of their lives. Until one night, the children found Mrs. Pinkler dead. Not only was she dead but she was murdered. They knew for a fact that no one that other than the children had been in the home. Who had done it.....

Ian looked up as heard Robert address him. He gave him a curt nod in reply. A waste of time as usual, he commented in reply with a sigh. But at that time, Robert seemed quite interested in.... ahhh, a new girl? His dark eyebrows rose momentarily before he headed to his usual armchair by the fire in the living room.

Isabella smiled hesitantly at the boy who had smiled at her as he approached her and introduced himself; well, at least someone was being nice to the new girl. Hi, she said, shaking his hand in return, It's nice to meet you. I'm Isabella, and yes, I go to Hogwarts. Her green eyes surveyed him a bit interestedly as she spoke.

"Ian! Don't look so glum!" Carter called, grinning as he approached the Durmstrang student. "You get to see me, remember?" he added, extending a hand in greeting. "How's the year been treating you, mate?"

"You've got quite a talent there- I'm Carter, Carter Smithson," he said with a charming smile.

Tabby really was getting bored of being silent. She stood up and walked over to a brunette boy. He didn't look that familiar. He was talking with some girl with a sketchpad. She tapped him on the shoulder and said," Hi," with her smile she usually put on. "I'm Tabitha, you?" She didn't really go to this place every year so seeing a new face was different.

Ian was pulled out of his daze of staring at the girl named Noah when Carter came over and extended his hand to him. Ian accepted it with a grim sort of smile - he wasn't capable of much more than that. That's true, he said fairly, his eyebrows raised slightly once more. The year's been fine, he added as he waved one of this hands airily. It was true; nothing much of interest had happened since he'd seen Carter last. What about you? he asked, settling back into his seat.

"Same to you" He said to her when she told him Merry Christmas. He never really did get into the christmas spirit. "Its as to be expected" He told her with a shug. As awful as ever, but he wasn't looking for pitty. "How about for you?" He asked her. Small talk never was his thing.

She looked up at the boy who had spoken to her. Merlin there were alot of goodlooking guys here. "I'm Noah Peterson" She introduced herself.

Scanning over her sketch one last time she looked around at the people. Hoping to remember the scene so that she could finish it later. As she did she noticed the Durmstrang boy was still looking at her. She met his gaze for a moment and then broke it as she put her sketch pad back up into her bag.

So even though he was staring at her, that pretty girl still smiled at him?? Ian's eyes widened slightly at this. She even looked up at him once more and he quickly looked away, his eyes staring into the fire as if nothing odd had happened; his hands were clenched into fists as he tried to get a grip on himself.

Lauren smiled kindly at Noah but then silence fell upon them. She sat down and looked around for other people. Then a guy from Durmstag came over and Lauren smiled widely. But the guy didn't even aknowledge her and spoke to Noah. Lauren was shocked as she wasn't getting the attention for once, and she frowned and moved slightly away from Noah.

Elaina arrived at the Holly Home. She looked around, hoping to find her friend, Luke. "Merry Christmas, Mrs.Pinkler", Enaina said brightly. Elaina's blue eyes scanned the place as she sat down in an armchair after she set her suitcases in her room. She hoped she would find Luke.

Ian nodded slightly as Carter talked, glancing over at Noah once or twice, since Carter was also talking to her, but mostly he focused on Carter. I understand that - same kind of deal with me, I guess, he said with a small shrug. Aside from the pranks, he added as an afterthought.

Seems like this was going to be a crazy experience with every girl seeming to find attraction toward another guy and all the guys freaking out from the attention they were getting in good ways. "Nice to meet you Carter," Tabby replied. "And if you want feel free to call me Tabby. Most people do," the girl added. She shrugged at his next question. "Fine I guess. You're from Durmstrang aren't you?" Tabby asked as if already knowing the answer. When he kissed her hand it wasn't much of a shock. She did not turn red either. It was commonly frequent. Annoying was more like it. If a guy was trying to impress her that way he would have to try harder to really get him to notice her.

Noah gave Carter a smile. He had a very flirtatious personality, that was for sure. "Oh no, it has yet to be hanging yet" She told him with a small laugh. "Too bad they just don't know what they are missing" She said with a scarcastic tone in her voice. She sure hoped that Carter picked up on the scarcasim, she didn't want to seem conseded or anything. She noticed him talking to the boy who had been staring at her earlier. She was curious as to who she was, but decided not to let her mind wonder too much on it.

Hanna watched as people talked. This was only her second year here, and last year she didnt really talk to anyone. She had mostly just wrote stories, something she did when she was bored. So Hanna sat down on the soft floor near the fire and took out her frail notebook. Her many stories were written neatly and clear. Opening up to a new page, she got out her quill and ink, tapping the end against her head in search of what to write about.

Izzy noticed his face change when he he answered her question. She could tell he enjoyed being a troublemaker, but Izzy wouldn't be caught dead with a troublemaker...she was the exact opposite. It was weird how she could tak to him so easily, though, despite their different personalities.

"What did you do this time?" She said as she rolled her eyes and then smiled.

As for his other question, the answer was obvious.

"Yes, I love school, unlike you, Mr. Weston!" Izzy said with a laugh, her voice carrying over to the others. "But there are other reasons...but yeah, you're right. It is another adventure for me. What year are you again?" She asked him as her stomach grumbled slightly--she had not eaten dinner yet.

But at that time, Robert seemed quite interested in.... ahhh, a new girl? His dark eyebrows rose momentarily before he headed to his usual armchair by the fire in the living room.

Isabella smiled hesitantly at the boy who had smiled at her as he approached her and introduced himself; well, at least someone was being nice to the new girl. Hi, she said, shaking his hand in return, It's nice to meet you. I'm Isabella, and yes, I go to Hogwarts. Her green eyes surveyed him a bit interestedly as she spoke.

Isabella looked over at Mrs. Pinkler as she addressed them and she smiled as the woman spoke. When she had finished, Isabella looked back at Rob. Do you want to go get some milk and cookies or something? she asked, before realizing how stupid that sounded and mentally kicking herself.

Ian looked up from his armchair, still able to see well where everyone was gathered and dispersing into the kitchen. He watched as one girl took out a pad of paper and began sketching on it. His eyes were almost hungry as he watched her with interest. She was quite attractive.

wow you are at Hogwarts?never saw you? he said
which year? he asked
milk and cookies why not? sure. come on i'll show you around the kitchen and the house. but i have no idea where you will be staying. he said shrugging as he led his way to the huge nice sparkling kitchen. he chuckled remembering the last christmas where this entire kitchen was a mess.

"You've got quite a talent there- I'm Carter, Carter Smithson," he said with a charming smile.

yeah i know school : homework he said doing a colon in the air and shaking his head. see you mate he said

Isabella's eyes raised in slight surprise as he Rob revealed that he, too, went to Hogwarts. I transferred in my third year from Beauxbatons - I'm in my sixth year now, though, she said with a smile before beaming as he thought milk and cookies was a good idea. She followed him into the kitchen. I'll ask when the time comes, Isabella added when he mentioned that he didn't know where she would be staying.

you know what we both must have shared classes and i never knew about it. even i am in 6th year he said shaking his head.
i guess my head is too much in Quidditch he said smiling.Rob went and opened the jar where there were loads and loads of cookies.taking a plate he spilt the cookies on to it and then got the milk and poured in two glasses.
here you go he said as he passed Isabella her glass of milk and the plate of cookies.they sat down opposite each other at the kitchen counter
now dont tell me that you are from Ravenclaw.if that's so then i might as well try racking my brians to remember seeing you anywhere in the common room he said taking abite of the cookies

"Yeah it's Tabby," she nodded. "I'm a 6th Slytherin sweetheart," the girl smirked, fixing the collar of his shirt and already starting to use her cunning Slytherin skills. "I must have missed you when I walked down the halls or something." Like she really cared. She was an intoxicating girl who liked to party. Slytherin's did that didn't they?

Carter glanced down as she adjusted his shirt. He had associated with Slytherins before- even had a few friends in that house. So, he was able to see what the girl was doing. "Well, we're different years, trying to sort out different affairs. You still have a year left at Hogwarts while I will have the whole world opened up to me within the coming months- its a bit of an overload," he explained with a grin. "So pardon if I have been farsighted within the school," he said, inclining his head in apology.

"Please don't apologize," she said with the roll of her eyes. "I'm daddy's little girl Carter. So if I wanted to leave school know I could have it. But of course I'll stay for my mother's sake of wanting me to finish school," Tabby told him. "Smarty Ravenclaw you are then. I have brains though I use them not very much after marks on exams," the girl added.

OOC; Late as usual, sorry guys! And congrats on PotW

Peter strutted down the garden, feeling excited that he was going to spend his Christmas in here again, he has only stayed here before once two years ago and this year as it was his final at Hogwarts he was able to persuade his parents to let him stay behind. He entered the familiar home grining widely he looked around and saw the tiny Mrs.Pinkler in the hallway, welcoming everyone back.

"Hullo Mrs.Pinkler, glad to see me, aren't ya?" He said winking at her.

He made his way to where most of the students seemed to be and looked around looking for his friends. He saw Carter standing with a girl not a far distance away, and with a smirk he made his way towards them.

"Hey Carter mate!" He said clapping Carter's back. "Found yourself a match at last?" He asked him smirking, eyeing the pretty girl that was standing with him.
