Hey everyone! I’m Ashley for those of you who don’t know me. I have been gone for a while but now I’m back and have decided to start another RP!!!!
Its Christmas themed so just hang with me!
Twas the night.....
The Holly Home is a home that was started for the students of Hogwarts, Beauxbatons, and Durmstrang to go when they can’t go home for Christmas. Whether you don’t feel like going home, your parents don’t want you to go home, or you have no home to go to the Holly Home is open.
Mrs. Pinkler is the old woman who created and takes care of Holly Home. She is the old grandmotherly type that everyone loves.
This year Mrs. Pinkler finished getting everything ready for all of the students to come. Everyone arrived and was having the times of their lives. Until one night, the children found Mrs. Pinkler dead. Not only was she dead but she was murdered. They knew for a fact that no one that other than the children had been in the home. Who had done it.....

A grin came to Noah's face as Carter said something about sherlock holmes. It was true. They were just amateurs at this. Neither one of them knew what they were doing. Had Carter really meant what she thought that he had meant or was it just coincidence and she was just taking it wrong. No, Carter knew that she was observant, and he was smart. He knew that she would know exactly what he was talking about.
He was right though when he said that everyone should be a suspect. She nodded as he said that but she added, "You didn't do it." It wasn't even a question, she just knew that Carter would never be the one to actually kill someone. She just knew it.
Noah let a small smile come to her face as he put his arm around her. She let her self lean into him, without even thinking about it. "We'll figure this out" She told him. That was the second time that she had spoken those words today.
Finn looked over to see Izzy smiling. He let himself smile softly although he turned back to look at the overall kitchen. As Izzy answered he looked over at her and saw her smile up at him. He let his eyes do the smiling for him while his mouth did not move.
Then he looked around the rest of the room. He could definatly see that something was going on between Carter and Noah, but somehow he couldn't help getting the feeling that Ian was involved in someway or another. Then as Noah and Carter left Finn quickly tensed at the look that Ian gave both of the girls in the room, especially Izzy.
Izzy raised her eyebrows as Ian left, and couldn't help but wonder what the heck was going on between Ian, Carter and Noah. Probably a love triangle. As he left, though, she looked up to see that Finn looked...weird. Like he was...annoyed with Ian? Izzy walked over to him and whispered in his ear. "What's up with him?"
Finn eased slightly as Ian left the room. The he heard Izzy's voice in his ear. He looked down to her and whispered back, "I don't know, but I don't like him" He added. Some people might say that Finn and Ian were a lot alike. Maybe that fact in itself was why he didn't like him. But there was just something about that guy that made him wonder. In Finn's mind though it didn't matter why he didn't like him, just that he didn't. If something was going on between Carter, Noah and him he had no idea how the other two could even stand him. His heart warmed slightly at her grin- knowing she had gotten the reference. But, as she seemed to process what he said, he couldn't help but look away. He placed his hands in the pockets of his cloak, trying not to piece the puzzle together- but knowing he would eventually have to come to terms with it.
As she responded to his comment about the suspects, he couldn't help but smile. "Are you so sure?" he asked her with a sad grin. "Although, I believe I have proof enough that you didn't do it," he replied softly, looking into her eyes before looking out over the snow again. "So, that leaves one another to rely on... but everyone else is an unknown," he said with a sigh.

Carter sighed, missing the contact between them. Silently, he slipped a hand out of his pocket and bumped it against her own. If she wanted to take it- then he wouldn't stop her.
"Well, then I can scratch my name off the list too... I'm quite relieved," he teased, bumping her shoulder gently with his own. He looked over at him as she asked for his proof. "Well, you were with me most of last night," he began quietly. "And I hope to never hear the terrified scream of a beautiful woman ever again," he said, shaking his head gently. "A person who murdered another and tried to fake it would not have screamed like that."
Carter couldn't say anything to her- he had encrypted his thoughts and she had responded to each one. He was fairly sure that she had chosen- and it pained him to think that because he was also sure that it wasn't him. He sighed and attempted to push that thought from his mind once more.
Izzy grinned a bit when he said he didn't like the way Ian looked at her and Isabella when he left. "You wouldn't," She said silently.

Looking back at Robert as he spoke to her, Izzy looked at the cookies again. "I know, Robert, it's just...I'm used to eating eggs or something in the morning. If I ate these, I'd probably puke," She told him. Cookies were not for breakfast--they were for snacking or for dessert. Right?

Isabella looked down at his words, though she had to let a small smile cross her lips as he patted her hand. Hoping it wasn't to daring of her, she gently turned her hand under his and held it just before he and Izzy started on their cookie fight. It wasn't hard to suppress a smile.
Robert had turned back to see why Isabella was so quiet and then he let her be not disturbing her in her thoughts,everyone needed their space and time but then he happend to look down and saw Isabella holding his hand.He looked up at her again confused when did this happen? he thought. whatever...but is she scared of anything? he thought again and then voicing his thought he asked Isabella,is everything alright? he asked are you scared of something? he asked again and tilted his head a little to see Isabella as she was looking down.
Izzy nodded at him, walking over to the fridge and opening it. "Hey, thanks again, Robert," She told him as she emerged from the fridge holding a carton of eggs and some milk in her hands.

Carter stood there, feeling and watching as Noah leaned into his hand. It seemed so right- them both being there... but unfortunately, he was not the only one on Noah's mind. Suddenly. a look of sadness passed across her features, and Carter couldn't fathom the reason- except for that his fears were true. He wanted her sadness to disappear, and in a spontaneous moment, he leaned forward and his lips touched her own in a light kiss.
Realizing what he was doing, Carter stepped away and dropped his hand from her face. "I'm sorry... I shouldn't have done that," he said quietly, not looking at her.
Noah wondered what Carter thought was going on. She had no doubt that he had the right general idea. But it was the finer detail that he was curious of. But then all of the sudden his lips were on hers. Noah was surprised at first. For she had not seen that one coming. But then she felt herself letting him kiss her, not pulling away, maybe even kissing him back alittle.
But then he was gone. Even his hand was gone from her face. Then she heard his words. Noah had heard those words once already today. But to where as Ian she agreed with him Carter she felt the need to comfort. "Its fine Carter. You don't have to be sorry" She told him quietly staying where she was. Not moving any closer to him.
She couldn't help but feel that this situation had gotten even more complicated. What was she to do. No! It was not more complicated. And she already knew what she was going to do. Ian was not an option. The only guy that she had to think of was Carter. But in the back of her head Noah knew deep down that it wasn't going to be as simple as that.

As Carter kissed Noah, he could have sworn that she was kissing him back. At first, he thought it was just his imagination. However, as he felt her reciprocate, that was when he had pulled away. "That was wrong, I have to be sorry," he told her with a sad smile. "You and Ian have something going on... and I just placed myself right in the middle of it." He sighed, and using his wand, he cleaned off a snow covered bench and sat down with his face in his hands.
This had gone all wrong, and he wasn't sure what he was going to do now. Sure, he could throw himself into the mystery- attempt to solve it, catch the bad guy... Yes, that's what he would do. If it would keep Noah happy, he would do it.
Noah's head was spinning. What had she done. She had never done anything along these lines before. She now could not make up her mind between two different guys. Two completely different guys. No. She reminded herself she did not need to make up her mind for it was already made up. Then she heard Carter speak. She slightly shook her head as he said that he needed to be sorry. But then the next thing he said caught her off guard. Sure she knew that he had some idea of what was going on but not that he would actually say that.
Carter went over and sat on the bench but she couldn't bring herself to sit. Unstead she stayed where she was looking at him. "No, Carter..." She paused for a second. "There is not... there isn't any going on between Ian and I." She told him. Technically she wasn't lying. At the moment there wasn't anything going on. There had been. But had, as in past tense. "Its not what you think" She told him. And it wasn't. He thought that they were together. No they had decided that there was nothing to happen between them. Not anymore.

Carter didn't look over to see Noah's expression. He was afraid what he might see- anger because of a false accusation or sadness because he was right. However, he caught motion out of the corner of his eye and looked up, to see Noah shaking her head. "Look, I won't do this to you Noah... we can just be friends. That kiss never happened," he said, looking back down at his hands.
He looked up at her, completely confused by her statement. "Noah..." he warned, basically conveying that he knew that something had happened. "Oh, then did you get lost up there? Because I know that Ian would hardly leave his door closed to you," he said with a skeptical look. At her next statement, he crossed his arms and leaned back on the bench- looking directly at her now. "What do I think?" he asked her quietly- no anger, nothing that she could take offense to in his tone. Just, curiosity.
