Matt laughed. "Yes, you're a fraidy cat, just like me." He said, giggling along with her. It was so strange to Matt how he never lost his temper with Coheed. She teased him on a daily basis but it never bothered him. It was just lucky that they were such good friends, otherwise something bad would have happened, and Matt didn't want that to ever happen to his friends at Deumont House.

Tabithia grinned as Colleen spotted her, squealing out her nickname and running over to embrace her in a hug. She returned it with a soft chuckle, listening as Colleen rambled on and on about her summer and her little sister, and then finally realizing she had been rambling. Tabbie laughed, always amused by her friend's ability to talk and talk. "I missed you too!" she responded with a warm smile, her bright blue eyes obviously happy. "My summer was alright, nothing of major excitement. I spent a month at the beach with mum and dad, that's why I'm not so pale anymore," she explained with another small giggle. Usually Tabithia was really pale, and fair-skinned, but now she appeared to be glowing, her once stark white skin warmed to be slightly bronzed and freckled. "Unfortunately we had to leave early, I...uh...I accidently might've started a bit of a tsunami..." she trailed off with a sheepish smile. She knew Colleen was all too aware of how her powers got out of control sometimes. "It wasn't that big though, I swear!"

Enid let out a sigh. Good Merlin, this boy was a lot more difficult than she had expected; she had never met anyone so quiet and shy and reluctant to socialize. "Alright, if you're not coming then I'll just have to take you there," she decided before snatching the boy's hand and beginning to drag-- "Ow!" She quickly let go of it as a burning sensation began tickling her hand, like a thousand needles attacking her hand all at once. "Wha'... What was that?" she asked, a bit wide-eyed, her stance a bit more reserved now as she massaged her hurt hand with the other. "What exactly is your power?" she asked, frowning just very slightly with curiosity at the quiet boy. For all she knew, he could be like Matt and nearly drown her in pain for annoying him!

Tabbie looked up from her conversation with Colleen as she heard an 'Ow!' from across the room. She looked over to see Enid massaging her hand which was starting to turn red, she could see from here. Unaware of what had happened, Tabbie still knew that that was a burn of sorts, and she quickly murmured a "I'll be back" to Colleen before rushing over. "Are you alright?" she asked Enid, taking her hurt hand into her own small one and examining it. "Would you like some water or anything? It usually tends to help," she explained with a weak chuckle. She glanced over at Gabe for a moment before turning her blue eyes back to Enid.

Coheed once again pouted and crossed her arms across her chest. "Take that back!" She whined out and she gave Matt her hazel puppy dog eyes. Ah sometimes they worked for her. Actually they seemed to work alot on certain people. She was able to pull out the look on guy in Romania and they seemed to fall for it. Really it was how she was able to eat every time she was out.

Gabe's cheeks started to blush. "Sorry!" He gasped out, his eyes worried. His cheeks pinked partly from embarrassment and partly from nervousness that warmed his skin. In his head he started to count down from ten, eyes closed, nine, eight, seven, she was asking what his power was? six, five, four, he would hardly call it a power, more so a curse. Three, two, one.

Gabe let out a breath, and opened his eyes again. He could feel his body starting to cool down once again.

Coheed's head started to hurt. All she could hear was numbers ringing through her head. She looked around trying to find the source of the thoughts, and found Enid tending her hand, and Gabe, eyes shut. Over-hearing she heard the girl ask Gabe what exactly he could do. Fire She looked over and her friend and sent her, and then directed her attention back towards Matt, her headache slowly going away.

"I noticed!" Colleen laughed, staring down at her own arm and noticed the usually pale, white skin was...well, actually still quite pale. "I obviously did not get out enough, and for that, I blame my sister!" She stated, and then laughed knowing it wasn't true. As much as she liked the sunny weather, her summer in Ireland where her parents live, was very relaxing. "Tabithia Nortins!" Colleen squealed once again. "You did no such thing!" She put her hand to her chest, in mock-horror. Then in a moment, she broke into a fit of laughter. "Wasn't ..that..big..I swear!" She repeated between giggles. "Oh, Tab, how I missed you! I'm just glad it wasn't too bad, though." She took a calming breath, and grinned before continuing. "I wish my power was a bit more, uh, exciting like yours!" Colleen said, knowing that changing peoples moods and making slight changes in the weather was a little interesting but couldn't help but see the fun in starting a tsunami! Well, a harmless one, of course.

"Woah, are you okay, Enid?" Colleen rushed over to her, right next to Tabbie. "I wish I could, uh, help." She said in a softer voice, feeling quite useless.

Matt frowned slightly, "I will not take it back. You started it." He said childishly. He turned away huffing, but then giggled as he was only kidding. During his conversation with Coheed, he took another glance over at Enid and Gabrielle as she heard her say 'Ow'. He raised an eyebrow and wondered what his power might be. Was it similar to his? He'd never known anyone like him before. He looked back towards Coheed who looked quite uneasy as well. That's weird. He thought. He didn't say anything though, he just waited to see what was going to unfold in the situation.

Enid was watching Gabe with not only curiosity but even the slightest hint of fear in her large green eyes when Tabbie suddenly entered the scene, taking her stinging hand into her own. Enid blinked, a bit caught off-guard at first, and it took her a moment to register the words Tabbie had just said. "Oh-- uh-- water-- yes, that would be great, Tabs," she said, giving the girl a smile. "Thanks a bunch."

Enid turned her gaze away from Tabbie and to the quiet boy standing before them once again, eagerly waiting for an answer - if he would give her one. She had a feeling he wouldn't, though. It wouldn't be the first time he completely ignored her questions and requests. It was then that Coheed's voice suddenly came to her mind, telling her one simple word: fire. Enid jumped at this, completely surprised, and then she let out a sigh. Co, you almost gave me a heart attack! she thought to herself, though she meant it for Coheed. Thanks, though. That explains a lot, she added more gratefully. "So fire, huh?" she said, turning back to Gabe and raising an eyebrow slightly at the boy.

"I'm alright, Colleen, don't worry about it," Enid replied to her friend with a smile, then chuckling softly as Colleen added she wished she could help. "Don't worry, it just stings a little, but I'm feeling a whole lot better already."

Tabithia gave Enid a weak smile before starting to focus, her blue eyes staring at her right hand which was hovering over Enid's that she held in her right. Suddenly, a soft mist started falling from her hovering hand onto Enid's burning one, sending sprinklets of cool water all over her burnt skin. She did this for a few moments before stopping and shaking off her hand at her side, sending a couple of droplets to the floor. Tabbie then started focusing again, her blonde eyebrows a little furrowed as she concetrated, now holding Enid's hand face up in both of her small ones. Very gently she brought up the hand to her chin and blew air onto it in the same way that a person might whistle. But instead of a sweet tune, out came a small, warm breeze of wind that dried Enid's damp hand.

"Ok, that's good." Colleen replied softly when Enid said she felt a lot better already. She flashed, what she hoped to be, a reassuring smile her way. When Tabithia took Enid's hand and started to use her power of water control, Colleen could not be any more fascinated. Whenever she saw someone using their power, it interested her to no end. Colleen's power worked quite a bit differently, and Tabbie seemed to have much more control over her power than Colleen.

Enid diverted her gaze from Gabe as Tabbie began creating a soft mist to soothe her burnt hand. Wow, that felt amazing; a bit cold, but great. Her hand was beginning to grow a bit numb, though, from the sudden temperature change - it had been burning a second ago, and now it was in a cool mist. She watched all this with a sort of amazement in her eyes - other people's powers always fascinated her, no matter how used she had grown to them. "Wow..." muttered Enid once Tabbie had finished drying her hand. She pulled her hand a bit closer to herself and examined it - it looked brand new. "Thanks a bunch, Tabs," said Enid with a smile. "My hand appreciates it, too. Anytime you need anything predicted, just let me know - I'm giving you an imaginary coupon for three free predictions, use them wisely," she said with a mock mysterious tone to her voice before chuckling softly, obviously just playing around, ever the little dork.

Tabbie looked up from Enid's hand as the girl it was attached to murmured a 'Wow' and she couldn't help but be a little flattered, her cheeks growing a bit rosy as she gave a warm smile. As she thanked her and offered her an imaginary coupon for three free predictions, Tabithia couldn't help but let out a soft, chiming giggle. "It's no problem. I enjoy creating mists, their not that hard. It's the actual rain that I'm having trouble with," she said with a smile. "I'll be holding onto that coupon though, you can count on it," the girl joked along with Enid.

Blake laughed at Enid. "Ya, never was very good at that game." He looked around at everyone again. Tab, Colleen, Matt, Alexx....They were all there. It was like old times, the regular misfits of the wizarding world. He smiled as he remembered the memories he had with them.

Colleen laughed, trying to lighten the mood a little. "Three free predictions?! You better be giving one of those to me, Tabs!" She laughed, joking with her friends. She looked around at all her friends and smiled. Everyone had such unique and impressive powers, and she loved learning all about them. "Where's the Headmaster?" She asked, turning her head to face Enid and Tabbie. The Headmaster of Deumont House was known for the very long speeches, but Colleen was actually quite excited to get this year on a roll. She just then realized how heavy all her bags were, digging into her shoulder. She dropped them with a plop on the floor, and proceeded to sit on the small pile she formed.

Enid raised her eyebrows slightly as Tabbie explained it was rain she had trouble with. "Oh you're more than welcome to practice your rain during the summers at my place; Merlin knows we could use the refreshment during those hot days," said Enid playfully; but then again, almost every time she spoke, anything she said was always playful.

"You forget you're playing with a professional here, Blake!" said Enid, turning to the boy as he explained he had never been good at hide-and-seek. "I can see you get here before you're even here, remember?" she added a bit proudly, her tones teasing as usual.

"Oh don't worry, Cole, you can have some coupons too!" said Enid, turning to Colleen as she addressed Tabbie. "Here," - she pretended to pull out an invisible paper from her messenger bag - "A coupon for five predictions! Just don't ask me about any test answers, I already got in trouble for that a number of times," she said, handing Colleen the invisible paper before the young girl asked about the Headmaster. Enid shrugged. "I don't know, but I always have trouble predicting when he'll get here. I think he does it on purpose; not let us use our powers on him, I mean," she said with a bit of a chuckle.

Blake shrugged. "Ya ya, whatever mate." He said smiling. Enid did have a great ability, but Blake always wondered who had the better one.

Calix had zoned out for a moment. He never really liked apparition, even side-along. It took something out of him. He closed his eyes for a bit, and then opened them, feeling restored and ready for anything. Suddenly, he realized he was hungry. "Anybody know when supper is?" Calix asked, looking around the room for an answer.

Colleen laughed when Enid gave her a coupon for five free predictions. "Oh, why thank you!" She laughed about her test answer comment, remembering very well what happened the year before. "Yeah, let's not repeat that incident. TO be fair, though, that Mind Control test was unecessarily hard." She chuckled, pretending to stick her "coupon" into her bag. "I get that same feeling!" Colleen said, her eyes going wide. "I'm going to have to investigate this." She stated, tapping her chin. "Whenever he get's angry with me, I always try to, ya'know, sway his mood in my favour, but I get absolutely nowhere." Colleen let out a laugh, "It's not like I'm trying to change his mine, per say, just let him understand my side. Like when he caught me sneaking around one night last year after hours. I swear I was sleep-walking!" She rambled, huffing at the old memory.

Enid fell into a fit of giggles as Colleen mentioned they shouldn't repeat the same incidents from last year - which the whole group overall had made plenty of - before expressing her agreement about the headmaster not letting them use their powers on him. Enid listened as Colleen recalled the time she had been caught sleepwalking, and how she couldn't change the headmaster's mood to match her own. Enid giggled once again. "I remember that! It's terrible, really... I can never see him coming when I'm sneaking out of the dorms or sliding down the railings on the stairs... I always get caught, it's not fair!" She crossed her arms and gave a bit of a pout, but something else Colleen had said caught her attention. "YES! That will be our mission this year - figure out how the headmaster has the power to-- well, to avoid our powers! Oh just you wait 'til I find out, I'm so using his technique too. Merlin knows I could use some help getting the mind-readers out of my head," she said with a chuckle.

Colleen burst out with laughter at the thought of Enid sliding down the stair railings. "Oh, jeez we are a bunch of trouble-makers, aren't we?" She giggled again, thinking of all the things they've done. At Enid's pout, Colleen grinned. "You're right, it isn't! I am in full agreement for this mission. Once we learn how to side-step this detour we will be able to have as many midnight snacks as we want." Colleen giggled furiously. "That's true, I need some thoughts kept to myself!" She said, looking over at Coheed, but was joking of course. "Now I really can't wait for this year to begin." She stated matter of factly. "If only the Headmaster would grace us with his presence." She said jokingly, pushing her stubborn hair out of eyes yet again.

Enid gasped and her green eyes widened as Colleen spoke of midnight snacks - oh that would be a dream come true! "Oh Merlin, we must figure out the headmaster's secret now! I always get a craving for chocolate frogs exactly at midnight... helps me with my predictions too," she added the last bit playfully, as if to justify her unusual craving. She giggled as Colleen mentioned she needed some thoughts kept to herself and she nodded her head in agreement. "I can't even count how many times one of the mind-readers has embarrassed me putting my thoughts out there! It's terrible!" she said with a sigh, recalling the many times her classmates had given away information she wanted kept to herself. She then gazed around the foyer. "If he would just hurry already that'd be great, I want to see who I'm going to end up dorming with this year."

Tabithia remained fairly silent, giving out a soft giggle every once in a while as she listened to Colleen and Enid create their mission to figure out the headmaster's secret. "I'm sure he's just waiting for more people to arrive," the blonde girl murmured softly as the two girls next to her started hoping for the headmaster's arrival. "But I agree, and I'm starting to get a bit hungry.." she said with a light chuckle.

Enid looked around as Tabithia pointed out that the headmaster was probably just waiting for more people to arrive before making his annual speech. "You're right," she muttered, noticing that there was still a large amount of people missing and the foyer was still rather empty. "I wish I could predict when he's coming, though. So that way I could just relax and take a short nap 'til he gets here," she added, now proceeding to sit down on the floor, beside where Colleen sat on her own luggage. This completely defeated the purpose of having chairs in the first place, but Enid had no intentions of leaving this corner of the foyer - not until Gabe finally gave in and joined the group, anyway. Once Enid set her mind to getting something, she would not rest until it is hers. However, she was a bit wary about trying to drag the boy over to the others again, just remembering the burn that came with touching his hand earlier made her cringe slightly.

Calix looked over at Enid complaining about not being able to predict when the headmaster was coming. "Well, Enid, it seems that now you know what it's like to be the rest of us. Bet you didn't predict burning your hand, either." Calix said, smiling. Even Calix's powers were affected by the headmaster. If Calix tried touching an object of the headmaster's to see where it had been, he only got glimpses of when other people had touched it. Otherwise, it was completely blank.

Enid turned to Calix as she spoke, mentioning that she would now know what it was like to be like the rest of them; unable to predict the future. "But I still can't make cool misty little clouds to heal burning hands, and I can't make people around me share my moods, or read their minds, or look at an object's past," said Enid with a bit of a pout. If it was up to her, she'd probably have not only her own powers, but the powers of those around her as well. Wow, she'd really be a superhuman then! But as Calix then mentioned that the girl hadn't been able to predict that her hand would burn, Enid chuckled softly and shook her head. "No, that completely caught me by surprise. I hadn't really stopped to think about what would happen if I touched his hand, but I'm definitely going to be more alert now," she said, though there was really no fun in trying to predict everything before it happened.
