Rissa is quite social- she remembers faces and knows names after the first time of meeting someone. She loves to smile and laugh, and often makes jokes to lighten the mood. However, she is quite conscious of when it is time to remain quiet and when to speak up. She is a good friend, offering a shoulder to cry on or an ear to whatever troubles. She is not very good at restraining her temper, however. If someone was hurt by another, claws are bared- literally.

Powers:
Arissa has powers quite similar to a Metamorphmagus. However, animals are more her thing instead of her own personal appearance. It may seem the opposite, but she had been practicing animals for ages. She can transform into practically any animal- although there are many she hasn't tried. Mythical creatures are a bit more difficult to transform into and back from and require a lot of energy to do so.

History:
Arissa's powers appeared with a case of hiccups. She was about 7 when she was playing in the yard, and the hiccups hit her. After one hiccup, she was fine. But the second... with each new hiccup after that she changed into a different animal. Her mother was completely hysterical as she tried to find a cure- either magical or practical. Then, when the hiccups faded, so did the corresponding changes. But, Arissa was now aware of her ability and struggled to discover the key to it. It wasn't long until she did, and her parents didn't know what to do with it. Eventually she ended up at Deumont school in order to develop her ability further.

Special Powers: Calix has the power of psychometry. Sometimes when he touches an object, he can see its history. He practically relives everything about it. So far, he has learned how to stop it from occurring every time he touches something, but he isn't always able to make it occur.

Personality: Calix is a spontaneous, fun-loving guy. He loves to entertain, and likes to be the center of attention. Underneath it, though, he is unsure about himself. He uses his spontaneity as a mask to hide his "faults." When he is feeling stressed, he tends to become a perfectionist, and he wants everything done correctly. When he's feeling very healthy, though, he tends to want to learn more about everything.


History: Calix found out his ability when he was just 10 years old. He picked up his brother's owl cage to hand to him, when he suddenly had a flash of where it had been. As his brother was just leaving for Hogwarts at the time, he didn't want to make a big deal about it. After that, it happened sporadically, so he just tried to ignore it, hoping it would go away. When he didn't get a letter to Hogwarts, his parents were very disappointed, thinking him a Squib. He told them the truth, but it didn't seem to help. Since then, he's been trying to regain their respect, but Jonathan (his brother) is now seen as the perfect child. When they found out about Deumont House, they immediately sent Calix off. Calix was glad to finally find a place where people were like him.

Personality: Delilah is a happy-go-lucky type of girl. She is a bit of a girl next door type. She is really sweet and only sees the best in people, even people who are mean to her. Delilah was raised to never judge anyone so she is a well liked girl, except when she harms people with her uncontrollable power.
History: Delilah grew up in a small townhouse with her mum and two older brothers. Her father died when she was very young and she doesn't know much about him. It was tough for her mum raising her and her brothers and working two jobs so Delilah had to be the "mum" most of the time, even though she is the youngest child.

Powers: Colleen has a strong, but completely predictable, control over the weather. Her mood is the biggest contributing factor. (Happy = sunshiny, cloudless, steaming hot; Angry = storming, etc.) Another thing she seems to have a bit of control over is people’s moods. Whenever Colleen is ecstatic and exuberant, all of the sudden so is everyone else! Sure, her smile is worthy of a smile shot back, but that’s not the only reason people’s moods agree with her. When she is being stubborn and a flash of anger makes her smile fade to a pout, the people surrounding feel it too. No one wants to see anyone upset, but Colleen makes others burst with rage at once when they see her with the same expression. Both of her powers are related to her own mood and how she, at that exact moment is feeling, but she is working really hard to make so it isn’t affected by her mood.

Personality: She is a very sweet, very stubborn girl. She cannot be described as just one thing, because more accurately, she is everything. She is smart, acing almost everything, and being a little less than happy when she doesn’t. Her love for her family and her friends trumps almost everything in her life. Now, Colleen isn’t extremely loud or obnoxious, but her personality is very bubbly. She is easily impressed and she is the first to talk to the new kid or help someone in need. The one thing that makes her personality boil over, per say, is if you dare lie, treat her unfairly, or hurt her family or friends. You don’t even want to know what will happen then. Her grudges aren’t held for long, and she is not one to be personally mean to someone, but if you do any of those things, she will be so hurt (And guess what? You’ll suddenly start feeling sad as well! Go figure!) It will almost be worse. Don’t get me wrong! Colleen is probably one of the nicest people you will ever meet, but you do not want to cross her.

History: Colleen always had a sort of 'pull' over people. It always seemed to be nice outside when she got a good grade on a paper or the one time when she won the 3rd grade Spelling Bee. It didn’t become extremely evident until she was about 10, when her parents decided to give her a pet dog (which she later named Chester). She was SO happy! For the next two weeks, despite the fact that Kendall and James did not want the dog at all, they could NOT wipe the smile of their face. The weather outside was eighty degrees and sunny! Oh, did I mention it was in the middle of the coldest winter Ireland’s seen in 26 years? Yeah. So that was when Colleen started to wonder exactly how much control she had over the weather and her parents began suspecting something a little different about their "sweet-wittle-angel” . Of course, when she finally did discover that she was allowed to join The Deumont House, where she could study and work hard to control her powers, she was the happiest since receiving Chester! (Another VERY hot week in February!)

History: Blake has a family of his mother, father and brother. His brother idolizes him for his ability, but he's far younger than Blake so he doesn't know it's not a good ability. Powers: Alexx can make things come back to life through imagery, she sits there and draws and draws and if she thinks about it hard enough its there in front of her. It's as real as a human could be and completly solid you can even have conversations with her living images. She can never stop drawing and she's even made outfits for herself come to life and wore them. But never has she been able to it exactly right, ever.

Personality: Alexx loves anyone and everyone, she has a bubbly and bouncey personality and is always talking about something or anything. She is always making people laugh and she does stupid things just to get attention. Alexx is quite clever but gets confused so easily and sometimes its hard to keep up with her because shes going on about the wrong thing. She hates being alone and always gets scared whenever she is. She very creative and talented in Art, she shows herself in the way she draws images and the clothing she wears. Shes created her own best friend from her images which helps her whenever she needs it, but sometimes her friend won't come or dissapears.

History: Ever since an incident when she was six when her father died she had always wanted powers so that she could bring him back. As she grew older she noticed changes, she was able to do things, small magical things such as when she drew, which is what she did a lot. The things she drew who suddenly become alive in a flash of light. First when her best friend moved away from her when she was a little older she drew her. She was upset about her gone that she was there almost like the real her but then Alexx realised it wasn't right, she had to let her best friend go as she could tell she wasn't truely happy. That's the bad part of everything, nothing she brings alive ever truely wants to be there. She has always tried and tried to draw her dad but it's always failed so maybe one day, she can. That's when she realised she was something special and needed help with her power.

Okay guys, so there's still a couple profiles that need a bit of editing, but I don't want to make everyone else wait just for minor adjustments! Sooooo....If you're one of those people who need to edit things, please do so before posting in the thread. Other than that, we're going to start!
We're going to start at the beginning of their fourth year, it's September 30th (that's when their school year starts) and instead of a train that brought them, a member of the Deumont family comes to their homes and apparates with them to the school. So we're going to start when everyone is just arriving, it's the first day back around 6 in the evening. Every year starts off with a school meeting in the main foyer of this huge mansion, so we're just going to start with everyone arriving.

Tabithia Nortins blinked as she appeared very suddenly in front of the light blue and stark white mansion she had come to know so well over the past three years, soon to be four. She smiled slightly at the sight of it before seeming to remember that she was still being accompanied and snapped out of her trance, turning to her right to see one of the Deumont Elders give her a polite smile and head inside. She took a moment, her blue eyes scanning the front entrance for a moment before she started inside, lugging her light blue suitcase behind her. She started up the stairs leading to the mansion, gazing around once more at all of the lovely greenery before fixing on the house itself. The bright white pillars stood out against the light blue walls, a gorgeous outdoor light fixture hanging between them just from the roof of the tall porch. The front exterior seemed to stretch on and on and on, endless rows of windows trimmed with the same white color of the pillars. She only had a half second to admire all of this before she was at the large, dark oak front doors that were standing open, inviting her in towards the main hallway of the school. Upon entering, Tabithia was able to see the seemingly never-ending hallway with many doors, one leading to the section of the mansion with the dorms, another leading to the wing that contained most classrooms, another leading to the huge dining room, one that lead to the kitchen, another lead to the wing that the Deumont family lived in, and one towards the back that lead outside into the vast courtyards and grounds. Looking to her left, the girl was able to see the spiraling staircase that led up to another floor, and to her right was the open, large and airy foyer. Knowing this was where she needed to go first, Tabbie made her way in there, seeing that she was the first to arrive, and took a seat in one of the many seats that had been set up in rows facing one of the walls that was behind the piano. This was the place that the headmaster always stood to make his beginning of the year speech, and so the girl set her stuff down at her feet as she waited for the rest to arrive.

After wishing her younger brother and her parents a cheery farewell, Enid got a hold of the Deumont elder's arm before disappearing into thin air, only to reappear in front of a mansion she had come to know far too well in the past few years. She took a moment to regain composure, as apparating was still something the girl wasn't very used to. It always made her dizzy and lightheaded. But that dizziness and lightheadedness didn't last long, for there was another emotion overpowering it - excitement. Pure, complete excitement to be back at school, back to a place where she was no longer an outsider, where she didn't have to hide her powers and those around would understand her experiences.

Eagerly, the young girl skipped her way up to the large oak doors and into the welcoming home, the brightest of smiles lighting up her innocent-looking features. She allowed her green eyes to scan the area for a moment before almost running into the foyer excitedly. She didn't care much for the upcoming speech, it had never been something to interest her much, but she was ecstatic about seeing her classmates and kind teachers again. It seemed she was still rather early, though, as there were only a couple people in the large room. Enid set her things down somewhere near the front and plopped down on the nearest chair, her manners most unladylike but very Enid-like. She turned on her seat and allowed her large green eyes to roam around the area before falling upon a familiar blonde not too far back. "Hey, Tabs!" she greeted with a cheery grin and a friendly wave of her small hand.

Tabithia was staring at her hands which were sitting palms up on her knees, tossing a small spout of water from one hand to the next, a playful exchange of H2O she greatly enjoyed playing with whenever she was bored. But her amused blue eyes shot up from her hands, forcing the fountain of water to drop and sprinkle on the carpeted floor beneath her sandals as she was addressed from someone a couple rows up. Upon seeing that it was her good friend Enid, a smile crossed her lightly tanned features and she waved back, "Oh, hi Enid," she responded before her happy expression faded, feeling a light sprinkle on her head. She looked up to realize that she had waved too much and had accidently sent a spout of water directly from her fingertip and up to the ceiling where it impacted, sending small droplets of water onto her head. Tabithia quickly covered up her right hand, enveloping it in her left and folding them nicely over her lap. She gave a sheepish chuckle to the girl who must've just seen all of that and murmured a quick, "Still learning to control that..."

Harrison put a hand on the Deumont elder's shoulder and with the other waved good-bye to his parents, grabbing his suitcase. As he heard the slight pop sound in the air, he suddenly felt as if he were under a rolling pin, the air being squeezed slowly from his lungs. But it didn't last long, and soon he was looking at the magnificent exterior of the Deumont mansion. He grinned, he was so excited. He couldn't wait to see all of his friends, and to see one person in particular. ( ) He grabbed his dark red duffel bag and headed inside, glancing at the beautiful scenery of the grounds. When he was inside, he grinned as he saw Tabbitha and Enid were already there. He quietly put his suitcase down, then ran up behind Tabbie and put his hands over her eyes. "Guess who Tabs? Did you miss me?" He grinned.

Moments later, Tabithia's eyes were covered over and she jumped at the sudden blindness, confused as to who's warm hands were covering over her sharp blue eyes. But as she heard the voice she had known for three years now, a small smile crossed her face, listening to her blinder's voice as he asked if she had missed him. "Well, Harrison," she started rather formally, emphasizing the word with an amused smile as she had known it was him the moment he started speaking, "Of course I missed you!" Tabbie added with a soft chuckle, bringing up her own hands to peel off his from their place covering her view. She sat up and turned around just to see his smiling face. She let out another small laugh before standing up and embracing the boy in a warm hug.

Matthew sat in his living room on the sofa with his mom and dad, as he waited for the Deumont elder to come and pick him up. Finally, after about 20 minutes of waiting, he arrived. Matthew turned to his mother, and she kissed him on the cheek. He looked at his father, of whom he doesn't get on particulary well with, and nodded briefly. He stood beside the Deumont elder and placed his hand onto his arm. Instantly, Matthew was transported to the Deumont House. He shook off his rocky apparation and took one look at the house that he loved so much and smiled.

He walked through the front doors of the building, his excitement getting bigger by the second, and walked through the corridors. Finally he reached the room where everyone gathered at the beginning of term. He saw Tabithia, Harrison and Enid were already there. He smiled widely, "Hey everyone!" He said happily, chucking his trunk on the floor and walking towards them.

Enid laughed as Tabithia accidentally spilled the water over herself before Harrison arrived and greeted the girl by covering her eyes. She watched this with amusement before her eyes turned to the entrance doors. She played a game with herself... "Guess who the next person to walk in will be." And just as she felt it would be, Matthew walked in. "Score! I'm getting so good at this..." the girl muttered to herself before the newcomer approached the group and greeted them. "Hey, Matt," she greeted him with a friendly smile. Enid was an overall rather likable person, but she tried her best around Matt as his power rather intimated the girl - she didn't want to be exposed to great pain for upsetting him!

With a pop, Coheed appeared outside the house. Her fingers, adorned with multiple rings, brushed through her dark hair- fixing any fly away that had appeared through the apparition. Her eyes- framed in almost equally dark eyeliner- looked back and forth. She was back, finally. The summer had seemed to be getting rather boring. Her parents wanted to go back to Romania for the entire break. So she was stuck there... the entire time. But that no longer back. Coheed Grimm was back and in action!

It didn't take too long for her to find the small group of people forming near some tables. The white dress she wore floated about as she walked towards them, contrasting dark heels clicking as she did.

"Well hello girls and boys!" Co grinned as she walked up to them, bare shoulders shrugged up softly as she greeted her friends.

Matt smiled at Enid, "Hello!" He said happily. He loved being back here and having actual friends, as when he went to muggle schools, he was a loner. Here, people understood him and were similar to him, which is all he ever wanted. He turned around as someone else entered the room. "Hey Coheed!" He said enthusiastically. Another familar face to add to the group. Although he was feeling a little awkward as he was the only boy that had arrived at the moment. He shrugged this feeling off, he didn't mind being around a bunch of girls really.

Enid gave Matt a smile before returning her green eyes to the front door. She stared, and stared, and stared... and stared. "Wait! I've got it!" she gasped suddenly, causing some of the kids around her to jump in their seats. "It's... a girl..." A crease formed between her eyebrows and her eyes narrowed slightly. "Coheed!" she said. A second later, Coheed entered the room. Enid grinned, quite proud of her skill. "That's the second one I guess right this night!" she said to no one in particular, she was for the most part just congratulating herself. These were all skills she had learned in the past year here at Deumont House, and it amused her to no end each time she guessed when someone would be coming near her before the person even showed up. The giddy girl then let her green eyes roam all around the familiar faces before focusing her attention on Matt and Coheed once again. "How was your summer?" she asked them. "I'm afraid it's only the future I can see, so you may surprise me telling me what's already happened."
