Enid turned a tad bit more serious now, which was rather difficult for her. "How come you don't like to hang around the other students?" she asked him curiously. Sure, Gabe was nothing like Coheed the social butterfly, but she couldn't really quite come to understand why he seemed to prefer to be left alone. There was nothing wrong with it but it made her wonder ever since she saw him trying so hard to run away from the others. Being a rather social person herself, Enid of course found this all to be quite unusual.

Why? What reason could he give. Because he didn't like people- no that wasn't entirely true. He was afraid of hurting them, they didn't like him, he was just awkward. Well those were all good reasons. He was just to awkward, and because he was awkward people let him be, and he was awkward because he was afraid. Which one to use, which one. "Why do you feel the need to be around people all the time?" The sentence seemed to just fall from his mouth, and when he noticed, he just felt evern more awkward. "Oh no... I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be so... rude." His voice quieting even more.

Enid examined Gabe as he remained quiet for a couple moments, apparently thinking about his answer before spilling out a question she hadn't been expecting. Why did she feel the need to be around people? Her brows furrowed slightly. Hmmmmmm... why did she like people's company? But before she could think on it too much, Gabe had started apologizing. "Oh no, no worries, Gabs, I'm not offended -- ooh, which do you like better, Gabby or Gabs?" she asked him. But then she remembered she was being asked a question. "Oh right, the people and the company and stuff -- well, I don't really need to be around people all the time. I just like it. People are interesting, and funny, and fun to bother," that last bit was so Enid. She shrugged her small shoulders. "I guess I just tend to have a little more fun when I'm with people then when I'm by myself." She paused for a moment. "Heeyyy, you didn't answer my question, though!"

What would be a good way of answering the question, without exposing himself completly. Oh hello, my name is Gabe. I have managed to set my whole family on fire- how are you doing today? Perhaps that was not the way to go introducing himself, that was why he didn't really introduce himself. He shrugged his shoulders softly. "It's just who I am."

"Mm." Enid nodded her head slightly, accepting this response. Sure, she would have loved something more detailed - an autobiography would have gone great with the curious little girl - but she knew Gabe wasn't one to say much about himself, even if she had only known him for fifteen minutes. So she opted best not to push him too far; she didn't want to end up on fire. "Alright, well, I did promise," she started with a sigh, "So I guess you can consider yourself lucky tonight; I'm letting you be," she said with a faint smile, getting up to her feet. "But I'll bother you again soon, you can be sure of that!" she continued, sticking her tongue out at him most childishly. "Oh! And thanks for the bracelet!" she added just as she was beginning to make her way back to the group. She waved the boy farewell and joined the others, a smile on her face.

Gabe relaxed his body. He thought for sure there would be more questioning, but it seemed as though this girl... Enid... she actually held to her word this time. Yet he couldn't manage to hold back another nervous smile as she thanked him for the bracelet. Yes, there was something interesting about Enid, that almost made Gabe want to call her back. That was not him though.


Coheed looked up as Enid FINALLY decided to join the group. Her eyes looked up at Gabe, back at his seat, now alone, and then back up at Enid. "So how was your thrilling conversation with Mr. Mute?" Co smirked.

Enid turned to Coheed as she addressed her, asking how her conversation with 'Mr. Mute' had gone. She chuckled softly at that smirk that had now come to the girl's face and shook her head slightly. "It was good, I finally got him to show me his powers!" she said, as if this had been a most laborious task she had been working on for weeks. She considered showing Coheed what the boy had done to the fork but opted best not to; she didn't need to be psychic to know a lot of teasing would come from it. Though she wasn't sure if it was too obvious, it wasn't necessarily something you found at your nearest jewelry store after all. "What about you guys, eh? What did I miss?" she asked, proceeding to sit down at the table the group had chosen while she had been away.

Co looked at Enid, as though trying to figure out a complex problem. "You'r hiding something from us." She sung out with a smirk. Oh yes, she was. Coheed looked pass Enid once agan, back over at Gabe (who was now picking at a plate of peas with a soft smile still remaining on his face) Coheed couldn't help but giggle at this.

"He totally has a thing for you." Co chuckled to herself as she leaned back in her chair- a smug look on her face.

Enid, who had been distracted pouring herself some orange juice, turned to Coheed as she accused her of hiding something. The young girl's eyes widened slightly - what, was she really that easy to see through? Then again, Coheed was a mind-reader... "Co, please tell me you're not scanning my brain right about now!" she said, her eyes narrowing just slightly with suspicion. She wasn't necessarily thinking about Gabe - and she tried hard not to, knowing Coheed was around - but she wasn't sure if Coheed had the ability to scan her visual thoughts as well; kind of like legilimency.

Enid now took a sip from her juice and it was then that Coheed spoke again, saying that 'he' had a thing for her. "He who, exactly?" she asked, her tones still suspicious. And then she gasped. "Co! Are you reading his mind too?! Behave! WAIT-- Before you get out of his head-- what's he thinking? No! Wait-- oh Merlin, how nosy of me!" Enid now began to ramble, going from asking Coheed to continue using her powers to asking her not to use them anymore. She was torn; her curiosity was too strong.

Coheed laughed. Oh the joy, the joy the joy. "I wasn't in either of your heads. It's just that easy to read you." Co smirked and looked back over at Gabe, and back up at the rambling Enid. Oh and the rambling just made this situation so much better for dear Coheed.

"Now my dear Enid, what reason would you want to know what is in his head, unless." Coheed pretened to gasp. This was all just too good for her. "Unless you fancy him too."

Enid felt her face grow slightly warm as Coheed explained to her that she wasn't reading anyone's minds, that it was just too easy to know what she was thinking of just from looking at her face. This made the young girl a bit uncomfortable; Enid had always been one to laugh along with others, even when they laughed at her, she didn't really know much about the meaning of embarrassment, but... this time her face had filled with a light shade of pink, and for reasons that she couldn't even understand, she was actually finding it hard to make a joke of the whole thing and laugh it off as she normally would.

As Coheed then asked why she wanted to know what Gabe was thinking, suggesting perhaps she fancied him too, Enid turned to her sharply and her jaw dropped. "What! I was-- I was just curious to see if... if I'd annoyed him enough. You know I love to annoy," she said, trying to wave the matter off as unimportant. "I don't need to fancy someone to enjoy annoying them; you should know this, Co!" she told the girl with slightly raised eyebrows. "Y'know, unless you're trying to say I like girls too or something, since I apply my annoying skills on both girls and guys... now, that's a bit offensive, Co," she said with mock offense on her features before laughing lightly, obviously just playing around.

"Mhmmm." Coheed hummed, a pleasant smirk on her face. Coheed didn't answer her, she would just let the silence sit between them. Oh yess, there was no mind reading needed. If Enid didn't fancy him now, she would eventually. And she wasn't even the one who could tell the future. Enid quick defense was satisfaction enough for foolish Co. "Whatever you say Enid." Co said, smug still.

Enid stuck her tongue out at Coheed childishly before chuckling softly to herself and then turning her attention to the group overall that sat together at the table. "Anyway, where's the food? I'm not hungry but I'd love to have the honour of starting the first annual food fight of the year!" she said with a grin, as if this was an olympic event everyone prepared for very strictly. "Last year's was pretty epic, but I didn't even get to notice it 'til someone hit me on the head with a fish - that was pretty gross, too." She made a face and turned her gaze down to the plate, merely staring at it like a complete maniac - or rather, like someone who was just desperately waiting for the food to appear so she could throw it to someone already. Oh, it would be soooo much fun to throw it at Calix when he least expected it; she would get two points: one for being awesomer than him, and another for being the official food fight starter (and the one with the highest chance of ending up in detention, too, though this wasn't her goal).

Calix had followed the others into the feast hall, but, once again, he was zoning out. He had begun wondering what it would be like if Alex drew something, and he, Calix, tried to read it. Would it have a history? Or would there be nothing before it was created? Pondering this, he went over and sat down near Coheed, and eventually Enid when she returned. He managed to catch the tail end of the conversation between Coheed and Enid, most importantly, the bit about Enid liking Gabe and vice versa. Oooooo, Gossip! He loved gossip! What rumors could he spread now? "Ooh, Gabe and Enid fancy each other! Bet you didn't see that coming! OOoooh!" Calix said, tauntingly. He then began to chime an old muggle playground song. "Gabe and Enid, sitting on a log, they fell off and had a snog!" Not feeling satisfied enough with this one, he went on to recite another: "Gabe and Enid, sitting in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G. First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a baby in a baby carriage!" Calix grinned with delight at what he predicted would be a look of obvious discomfort from Enid.

Tabithia had remained a few feet away from Gabe's table during the time that Enid was annoying him, just to have some spare water in case the poor boy accidently set her friend on fire. But as she watched Enid return to the group table, Tabbie seemed satisfied that all had gone well, and she gave Gabe a weak smile before heading over to her own table just as the playground children songs came out. "Oh, Calix, leave the poor kids alone," she murmured, an amused smile on her face as she gently placed a tan hand over Calix's mouth, circling around behind him until she was sitting in the seat at his side. She turned his head towards her with her free hand, the other still covering up his lips as she gave him a smile. "Repeat after me: My name is Calix and I'm a nice boy who doesn't tease other children," the girl recited with a soft giggle, releasing his mouth but keeping his chin so he could repeat her words, her bright blue eyes locked on the boy.

It didn't take eagle eyes for Arissa to see what was going to happen soon. She looked over at Enid and raised an eyebrow. "You'll give me some warning right?" she asked quietly, indicating how her friend's hands were twitching expectantly. Food had to be the cause- and Enid always liked her mischief. Arissa would join in, definitely... but being the instigator was not her intention.

As Tabs got Calix to quiet down, she burst out laughing. "Nice Tabs! Why didn't I think of that?" she asked, raising a hand to cover her mouth as she giggled softly.

Enid had been preoccupied on thoughts of food fights when the most annoying of lyrics to the most annoying of songs began ringing in her ears in a very familiar voice - Calix. The girl looked up from her plate and threw him a glare, though there was still just the slightest hint of amusement in her large green eyes. "Oh go on, Calix, have your fun! I can predict it won't last long, and that's a fact!" she told him through narrowed eyes before then turning to Alex and nudging the girl. "Psst, Al, draw me some grapes or something that I can throw at him," she whispered to the girl. Calix was definitely going to be the first victim of her food fight now.

Thank Merlin Tabbie was around! She had managed to get Calix to quiet down, which brought the largest of smiles on Enid's face as she watched Tabbie talk to Calix as if he were a child, much amusement now sparkling in her eyes. "Way to go, Tabs! Now give him a rainy cloud to follow him around all day or something," she said with a soft chuckle. Oh, that would be awesome... if she had Tabbie's power, she'd definitely be giving people rainy clouds to make difficult their days. Such a nice little girl.

"Oh, I will, don't you worry," Enid assured Arissa with a nod of her head and a giggle. She was really looking forward to throwing some food across the room and causing some chaos. Chaos was always good in her book.

Coheed, the tease queen! Yes that should have been her official title. Tease queen, it had a nice ring to it, and Co managed to be very good at it. Part of her felt a twinge of guilt inside somewhere, but knew that after a week or so Enid would no longer be teased, and the group would move onto another target. It seemed to work that way.

Coheed hummed along with Calix as he sang his tune

OOC: Everyone is at the dining hall and Enid just talk to Gabe and everyone thinks that they fancy each other That's basically it.

Xavior got up with the others and made his way to the dining. He watched as Enid sat with Gabe, trying to get some stuff out of him. "Can't you see he isn't gonna talk?" He thought, watching her finally come back to their table. Right as she sat down, he stood up and walked over to Gabe. He was great at getting stuff out of people. Well, it didn't count 'cause he cheated with his powers. He sat down next to Gabe and said, "So, how you doing mate? You know that Enid chick, I think she fancy's you. The thing is, do you feel the same way? You don't have to answer, it's just a question. And since it looks as if there's only 2 dudes in our group of friends, I'm basically the only person you could tell." He grinned.

Finally, Gabe was in the clear. The larger group of students had stopped shooting him glances, Enid had walked away and... NOT AGAIN! It was another talkative one. Why were they all so talkative? Gabe felt his face warm and stomach turn as Xavior kept going on, really only part of him was listening. Until he heard.

"E-e-excuse me?" There was many things wrong with that statement. First of all, Enid fancying him. People don't fancy Gabe. He was too awkward. Secondary, our group of friends? Since when was Gabe in this group. If it was compeltly obvious he didn't talk to them, and there was a reason he was sitting so far away from them. It was so he wouldn't be part of that group. and...

"XAVIOUR!" Co leaned back and looked back at the awkward boy- who was being harrassed once again. The Tease Queen could not have someone out teasing her. Plus the poor boy just had enough for one day she thought. Even Coheed knew when to stop. "Leave the poor boy alone before he bursts into flames."

"You heard what I said! She totally does. But let's just keep it on the down low for now, just between you and me." He then turned and said, "WHAT?" In a fake annoyed tone. "Well, it won't matter to me. Hello? I can control fire?" He turned back to Gabe and said, "Can you really do that?" Not in a mean tone, more of an interested tone.

Calix was having quite a lot of fun teasing Enid and Gabe. But suddenly, there was something preventing him from continuing. A hand, to be exact. And not just any hand. Tabithia's hand. She told him to say something, but he most certainly was not going to follow her instructions. When she removed her hand, he said, "My name is Tabbie, and I like ruining Calix's fun." To top it all off, he stuck his tongue out at her, too. See how she liked that. She wasn't going to get away with this. No, he would remember this forev... oh, pretty! Calix had suddenly noticed his reflection in his plate. Quickly, he fixed the little cowlick that liked to stand up in the back of his head.


"Hmph. You guys are all mean. I'm not gonna play with you Any. More." Calix said, crossing his arms and emphasizing the last word. He loved fake pouting, and figured he was pretty good at it, as well.

"I'm not afraid of your predictions!" Calix said, turning to Enid. He began to think of more ways to torment her. Hmm, what was there? "So, do you two have a celebrity couple name yet? No? What should we make it? Enabe? Gabid? Gabnid? Eniabe? Which one do you fancy, Enid? I could go on..." he suggested, smiling broadly. Oh, what a fun sport this was!

"Enid, taking a fancy to Gabe?" she asked. She enjoyed making people blush. Then Delilah turned in her seat to face Gabe."Do you fancy her? You know at least one person knows if you do and we can get it out of her." Delilah motioned towards Coheed. Since she was the mindreader she had to know because she knew what everyone was thinking.
