I needed to have a new pirate RP haven't made one in awhile!!

"A WHAT?!?!"
"A test Mr. Potter. To see if you can survive without your wands in an unusual situation" Professor Binns said as he floated towards the front of the classroom once again.
"It might be fun Harry to travel back in time" Hermione whispered as she scanned the project outline.
"Ms. Granger is quite right" He drolled. "Look on the top of page one and you will see the summary of your project. Ms Granger you will read the paragrahs following Summary"
Hermione nodded. "Your group of four people will travel back in time to a specified period without your wands for the spring term. You will be forced to find lodging and work and fight your way through your period of time and when you return at the start of term your seventh year a full 6 sheet report is due for a grade" Hermione said slowly.
"Exactly now look on the back page and see your group mates and where you will be" Professor Binns said slowly.
Hermione bit her lip and turned the page over scanning it for their names. "Harry, you me Ron...and....guess who? MALFOY" she said with utter disgust. "we are going to be.....in Taelic City...we are going to be pirates!"

Okay if you don't get it yet this is a pirate RP. Harry,Hermione,Ron, and Draco are going to be transported to a city i made up where Pirates are well known. They will be forced to learn how to live without their wands for a full term. So the only thing they can do is work at a dock. Thats where they hear of the notorious David Oiellete captain of the sea, Pilaging and Plundering all he likes. So Hermione being the smart one talks Harry and Ron into joining this man's crew so that they could add it to their report for a better grade. After having to drag Draco aboard of course!! They get on board just fine and join the crew forced to do the things that the other crew members just really dont want to do. Hermione being the only girl is worked the hardest. She refuses to give up and continues to work her hardest.

The captain nodded at Dani. Staring at her he realized he had a soft spot for her. She was the only one that made him ffeel human and not a dictator. And she surely looked pretty with her hair blowing like that... stop.. he was captain and she was crew. He had to find someone else or noone at all. He shifted his gaze and looked elsewhere.

Her part was done. Dani would willingly climb to the top of the main mast in a storm to tie off the sail...but heavy lifting was up to the men. She'd done her fair share. Now the bystanders could help out.

Humming a song to herself, she moved back to the quarterdeck, curious if Captain Ouellette was still feeling friendly. It was an odd thing indeed as far as she was concerned, and she intended to fully take advantage of him in his current state of mind.

She climbed the stairs with ease. The swaying boat didn't effect her sure footed movements in the least. Two steps from the deck, she stopped, and leaned against the railing, coiling her arms around the wooden orb at the corner.

"Where we headed to?" She asked him casually, letting his title drop. She was like a child testing her limits...just much less obviously.

The Captain was already grinning so he didnt have to grin when he noticed that dani was testing her limits. "Heading? Well I believe thats a captains secret." he said smirking.

"What? Not saying till we leave port?" She asked him, grinning. "C'mon, I won't tell. I'm the one that has to do the dirty work, I wouldn't rat on myself." Dani rambled her voice saturated with sweet innocence.

Sintra hid behind one of the poles holding up the ship. She was rather interested in what the Captain had to say.

The captain shook his head. "My lil secret." he said grinning. he knew it was killing her to not know where they were gonig. Only the Captain would know.. unitil he told his right hand man.

Apparently the Captain was a bit more deranged than she had originally thought. A smile spread across Danielle’s face. She released the banister, and walked up the last two steps. She leaned back against the railing for support, then lifted herself up to sit on it. Her head was tipped forward, her long hair cascading down to her knees as she stared at David Ouellette. She hooked one foot around the opposite ankle.

“Typical man.” She stated. “Always have to have the high ground.” She teased him. “Always need the upper hand.”

From the main deck, Christian could see Danielle chatting with the Captain. He was curious to see if she got herself in trouble. She often goaded him, tested her limits. When David Ouellette smiled, Christian thought he’d fall over from shock.

Shaking his head, he decided this show wasn’t all together entertaining. He turned around, and spotted Sintra leaning against the main mast, looking upset. He swaggered over to her, looking down into her eyes before speaking.

“What wrong?” He asked her.

ooc: Right hand man would be the first mate.

Captain Ouellete cocked an eyebrow. Surely she had just went over the limit. "Ms. Danielle. Pleas do not forget who you are talking to. I am or will never be.. a typical man." he said folding his hands behind his back. He looked over at Ryan as he called that his work was done. "Good job then mate!" he said turning from Dani.

"Sorry Sir." She appologized. It hadn't been her place, she knew it. Dani jumped off of the railing, arms folded across her chest, eyes fixed firmly on the man before her.

"You may have reasons for having the upper hand, but it doesn't change who you are. You may be the captain of this ship, but you still are just a man. Being captain doesn't over rule the desire to company, or any other urge that every male alive has. Deny yourself feeling all you want. But it's still there." She told him, feeling mildly irritated that he seemed to think himself above humanly urges.

"Sorry for my impertinence, am I dismissed captain?" She asked him formally her eyes fixed on his right shoulder as opposed to his eyes. If he wanted to be the captain, than she'd let him be the captain. But if that was the only identity he accepted...she'd treat his as if that was all he were.

(sorry I seemed to have gotten a very busy life this week..and it was Tortuga)

Artemis turned and glanced at Dani and the Captain feeling slightly jealous. Dani will NOT get my spot. she thought to herself as she quickened her pace checking over Dani's work even though it seemed to be flawless and useless to check but she had to try. She glanced behind her and saw Dani's arms crossed. She was curious where they were going but she would find out first anyway.

Hermione smiled. "Uh thanks Christian" Hermione said feeling amazing. She had jsut gotten a compliment for something she thought she had done completely wrong. I guess all that prereading she did helped.

The Captain nodded when she asked if she was dismissed. He looked down however. he knew he had treated her wrongly but his first and foremost role was the Captain and noone would talk to him like that. he saw Artemis coming toward him. He gave acknowledgement. "Oi Artemis. Everything seem to be in place?" he asked. He gave a look around at his crew and couldnt help but feel pride. They were the best in the business.

Not saying anything, not letting an emotion touch her features, Danielle turned on her heal, and headed back down where the rest of the crew was assembled. She kept her head held high, not wanting to be upset by his rejection.

Even though hew was nearly ten years older than her, she didn't see him that way. After all, her father was about fifteen years older than her mother. Age had never occured to her as an issue. Part of her even-the thought was put out before it even got life. He was the captain. He couldn't, wouldn't, be more to her. Her or anyone else.

Captain Ouellete looked at Artemis. "I havent told anyone yet but we are going to Tortuga to get supplies and rest. From there.... I have my ideas." he whispered searching his ship. Where was Sintra? looking around he saw him behind a pillar. Looked as if he was spying. "oi! SINTRA!" he called his arms behind his back. He looked in the opposite direction of him. His eyes landed on Dani. He looked down quickly his heart gave a little jump but his mind told it otherwise.

Artemis smirked. 'Yes captain its all set and ready to go" she said as she climbed to the wheel portion of the deck and stood to the left of the captain. "Tortuga sounds good" she added when she knew. She loved getting answers first.

Dani stopped walking when she reached a pile of rope. Sighing, she sat down on it, watching the rest of the crew wander around the deck. Determinedly she kept her eyes away from the Captain. It was stupid to feel the way she did, she knew it. She knew they weren’t very close, and she had no reason to be upset, but that changed nothing. She was annoyed. A big part of her felt that if he could accept his humanity, that they’d actually get along. But that didn’t seem like a likely possibility.

For a moment, she watched Christian and Sintra talking, then rolled her eyes, and turned away from then. For a moment, the invisible barrier between her and the Quarter deck vanished. Even from this distance she could see the smug smile on Artemis’ face. Feeling freshly irked, she looked straight forward at the passing waves.

The cpatain gave a lok at Sintra. "Were you just behind the pillar?" he asked with a confused expression on his face. HE nodded to Artmeis. "Ok get the ship ready to leave in 5 minutes." he instructed her. Afterwards he gave a smile. Looking back at Sintra he said. "Oi, get to work lad." and turned on his heel thinking.

The Captain nodded as Artemis got to work. He walked back to the wheel. Running his finger down the wood he remembered when he first stowed away on one of these ships. He never left after that. He was only ten but he had the mind of a 20 year old. He was too wise for his own good people would say.

Artemis turned her back to the captain and rolled her eyes. He was in one of his weird moods probably trying to find some pirate that caught his interest. She rolled her eyes again and finished tying the masts sails so they would stay up. She wouldnt want his attentions anyway. Although she was surprised that he gave her the job of First Mate instead of Dani. He always seemed to like Dani more.

Looking up from his memory he saw the ship was ready to go. "Alright lads and ldies. Seems to me this ship ready to ..." he cocked an eyebrow and gave a grin. "Hit the road?" he asked. He gave a chuckle. "Mates... lets get going to Tortuga!!!" he called out finally giving the destination at last. He agev a smile and jogged to the wheel. He had always been in good shape and being only 25 made him look more appealing.

Sintra sighed and slowly tied the something with the something, hoping it would buy her more time than to actually do something. She gowlered over at that Hermione. She was too close to Christian for Sintra's taste. "Hey, Artie," she hissed. "What do you think about that Granger girl?"

Artemis turned and smirked at Sintra. "Oh what sorry was on a different person" she said slowly. She shook her head. "its ok i still think she has no idea what its like to work on a ship and yet I swear the captain hasd suddenly gone soft. Look at him up there staring into space probably thinking of a girl"

Sintra scrunched her nose. The Captain with a girl, not a really pleasant thought. "He's nice and all," she started, "but still...our Captain." She changed the topic though. "He is going soft. I think that it's his brain that is going soft," she giggled, but then sighed. "Do you think that Granger girl and Chris--do you think anything will happen there? I mean, I always thought he was a smart guy. That Granger seems like a tricky one; I bet she's with that black hair dude. Potter was it? Harry?"
