"A test Mr. Potter. To see if you can survive without your wands in an unusual situation" Professor Binns said as he floated towards the front of the classroom once again.
"It might be fun Harry to travel back in time" Hermione whispered as she scanned the project outline.
"Ms. Granger is quite right" He drolled. "Look on the top of page one and you will see the summary of your project. Ms Granger you will read the paragrahs following Summary"
Hermione nodded. "Your group of four people will travel back in time to a specified period without your wands for the spring term. You will be forced to find lodging and work and fight your way through your period of time and when you return at the start of term your seventh year a full 6 sheet report is due for a grade" Hermione said slowly.
"Exactly now look on the back page and see your group mates and where you will be" Professor Binns said slowly.
Hermione bit her lip and turned the page over scanning it for their names. "Harry, you me Ron...and....guess who? MALFOY" she said with utter disgust. "we are going to be.....in Taelic City...we are going to be pirates!"
************************** Okay if you don't get it yet this is a pirate RP. Harry,Hermione,Ron, and Draco are going to be transported to a city i made up where Pirates are well known. They will be forced to learn how to live without their wands for a full term. So the only thing they can do is work at a dock. Thats where they hear of the notorious David Oiellete captain of the sea, Pilaging and Plundering all he likes. So Hermione being the smart one talks Harry and Ron into joining this man's crew so that they could add it to their report for a better grade. After having to drag Draco aboard of course!! They get on board just fine and join the crew forced to do the things that the other crew members just really dont want to do. Hermione being the only girl is worked the hardest. She refuses to give up and continues to work her hardest. * Really thats all I have planned anyone have ideas PM me or we can just play it by ear!!* ::Tidbits::

Christian didn't move his arms from where they were folded across his bare chest when Sintra came over and leaned against him. He didn't ask her to move, or acknowledge her either.
"Hogwarts eh?" He asked. "Don't think I've heard of that place before. Where's it at?" No sooner had the question left his mouth, than the Captain announced that they were leaving. "Ay-ay Cap." Christian acknowledged the order.
Dani heard the announcement, said her goodbyes to the boys, and headed below deck to get out of her skirt.

When Sintra whacked his arm, he turned, glared, and wacked her arm in return. The motion wasn't hard enough to hurt, the blow wasn't even a third what it could have been, but it would startle her.
"Yeah I heard him. You mind not hitting me next time?" He asked her, trying to remain calm. Christian shook off her touch, and stood up. "C'mon Miss Granger. I'll show you how to ready the sails." He offered.

Moments later, Dani came back into sight. She'd exchanged her black skirt for a pare of old, once black (now more gray) pants. She deposited her boots under a staircase, and hurried over to the Captain.
"Yes'sir?" She asked him respectfully.
"Alright. This here is the main mast." Christian explained to the younger girl. "Dani or Sintra, usually, will climb up to the top to help un-tie the sail. We tie it up there when we anchor down so there aren't any accidents." He explained to her.

"Ok comming through." Dani announced, squeezing between Christian and Hermione in order to climb to the top of the main mast, and untie the sail. Dani made her way quickly, and easily up the rigging. Once to the yard, she shimmied across it, collecting the rope around her neck as she let the sail lose.
"INCOMMING!" She hollered, and dropped it down on Christian and Hermione. She heard a faint, OOF! as it hit Christian in the head. She giggled, then started back down. From around the flapping sail, she almost convinced herself that she saw the captain looking something but angry...and it wasn't a good something.
"Watch it with the wrope girl." Christian told Dani in a mock-threatening voice once she was back down. Dani smirked at him as she headed towards the mizzenmast.
Before climbling the mizzenmast, Danielle stopped by Captain Ouellette. Indeed, she'd seen right.
"I know it's none of my business sir...but are you ok?" She asked him. She was standing behind him, and to the side, only a few feet from her destination.

"Nearly there Cap'n." Danielle responded, thrilled that he hadn't snapped at her for such a personal question. "That Hermione girl seems to be a fast learner." She remarked. "Which certainly helps. But I'd best be gettin to my job or we likely never will leave." Dani concluded.
He'll probably lighten up once we leave port. She thought, as she moved to the mizzenmast, and began to climp. She used her legs, using them as a vice around the mast. Probably just nervous...we all are...the thought continued once she started shimmying across the yard, and untie the next sail.
"Alright, when your tieing off the sail, you need to be sure you do the right knot. If it comes undone in the middle of a storm, we could be in a pretty big load of trouble." Christian explained to Hermione. With a spare piece of rope, he showed her how to tie it, then told her to do one with him watching.

Sintra started to climb up the rope ladder to get to the top. All the time thinking Oh, those brats are going to pay for this. That Hermione seems like a piece of work. Grr...what is wrong with that Christian too? He's so smitten with her too. Argh!

When the sail was completely let loose, Dani climbed down, and tied it off. She'd been proud that she could do the job so easily, what with being as small as she was. She gave the wrope one last tug, then headed over to foremast, where Sintra was working, and began to get the spare bits of wrope together.
