Before I give the plot I want to make some rules clear

Rules
1. All SS rules apply.
2. Everyone must stay acctive.
3. If you can't stay acctive try your best to tell me before the RP starts.
4. If to people want the same role the person who posts a bio first gets it.

Ok now the plot.

It is Valentine's Day and Hogwarts is going to throw a big ball in honor of the occasion. They are inviting all of there sister schools to attend the ball too. It is the week before the ball and everyone is stressing about who they are going to ask. Trina has had her eye on a guy named Patrick for a while and she knew that he liked her. There was even a rumor going around that he was going to ask her to the ball. All of a sudden he ask the new girl at Hogwarts Kyla. Trina is terribly upset but then finds that Kyla has cast a love charm on Patrick so that he would ask her. Then she also finds out that Kyla has four other guys under a spell so that they would go with her too. The bad news is the four other guys are Trina's four best friend's crushes and that they all wanted to ask her four best friends too. Will Trina and her friends be able to break the charm before it is to late?

Jada sighed and looked at Tanner and Patrick. Boys. She thought. "Tanner just sit down." She said tugging on his sleve. She then turned to Patrick. "And just so you know. I agree with him. Don't you dare be surprised when none of us hang around you anymore."

Kat nodded her head. "I agree completely. You better hurry up and realize that one girl isn't worth loosing all your friends." She said turning back to Keith, waiting for him to wake up. "Keith you better wake up before I spray you with more water. I'll do it out in the cold." She said poking him with a straw.

Sighing Tanner immediately sat back down when Jada began to pull at his sleeve. This was supposed to be their date and here he was fighting with a guy who was supposedly his closest friend. This was hard on them all and so he shouldn't just be thinking of himself. Although at least Kat and Jada agreed that Patrick was saying and doing things that were way out of line. "I'm sorry" he whispered to Jada once he was sitting once more.

Jada smiled at Tanner. "It's ok. I would have done it too." She said. "But I would have hexed both of them in the processes." She mumbled so no one could hear.

"So thats it?" Patrick looked at the people he had once called his friends "I say i dont lik Trina and go after someone you all dont like and you turn on me?" He stood up in anger "Some friends you are." He turned to Kyla and said "Lets go i need fresh air." And he began to leave to three broomsticks and his old friends.

Trina couldn't take anymore of the fighting so she squeezed out of the booth and ran out of the three broomsticks. She passed the two "Love birds" and walked quickly towards the castle. Half way out of Hogsmeade a seventh year guy stopped her. She recognized him from seeing him on their table.Can I help you? she asked not wanting to run away and seem rude like her body wanted her to.
Um yeah, you can. Trina right? I'm Seth Jacobs, so listen, I was wondering if you wanted to go to the valentine dance with me. he asked.
Trina though about this for a second. On one hand, she could use him to make Patrick jealous, on the other hand, she hated using people. But, this was a situation that she decided not to listen to her conscience.Yeah. she choked out. A look of relief washed over his face.
Okay great, um I'll meet you in the common room around seven then. he said.
Trina nodded her head and watched him walk back to his buddies. She started walking back towards the castle again, this time with a smile on her face. Operation Jealousy was under way.

OOC: I thought I would add a little more drama to this than her just standing there watching everyone have fun.

Sam's eyes immediately snapped open when she heard the words that were being said. She said to Shaun, "Just a second." And went over to her friends, staring completely dumb-founded at Tanner. He had never flared up like that before, let alone in front of Jada and his friends. But this was different, for everyone. Sam took a hold on Patrick's robes and said, "Can I talk to you outside? Alone?" She added the last part, glancing at Kyla. But even before Patrick could answer, Sam was dragging him outside and shutting the door. While Sam shivered, she said to Patrick. "Look Patrick, I know that we haven't been all that nice to you lately and that we haven't been hanging around as much, but there's a reason for all of that. You see, we only want what's best for you Patrick, we all do as your friends. I'm not going to say anything bad about Kyla, only that I'm not very fond of her. But Pat, I have to ask. Are you sure your making the right choice, I mean with Kyla? We're not your enemies Pat, were your friends. And as your friends, we know what's best for you. And are you sure Kyla is who's best for you? Please tell me the truth Patrick!" Sam saw Trina pass them, and grabbed Patrick's face with one hand and turned it towards Trina. "Are you sure that your making the right decision? Are you sure you don't feel ANYTHING towards Trina? Anything at all, even a tiny little spark?" Sam looked at Patrick hopefully, hoping he would answer her truthfully.

Patrick looked at Sam and could tell she was hurting, dying for him to say what she wanted to hear. "Its just..." He began "I mean I do like Trina but just I like Kyla more." Sam had always been one of the girl's Patrick felt close to. Granted she was no guy but she was always right next to Trina on the friend list. "I know you all want me to suddenly forget Kyla and go back to liking Trina but I just cant!" He shook his head now really confused. What Sam said was true, he did feel a little spark for Trina, that small flame he thought to himself. He couldnt admit it to Sam but she was right. "I'm sorry but things arent going to change. But thanks for not yelling at me that Kylas evil and i should hate her and love Trina. Your approach is much better." He gave her a weak smile and sad eyes. He hated to have his friends be mad at him.

DON'T get mad at me yet, just let me finish. I have no idea how guys think or how any of my friends think, but I bet the reason their all getting mad at you is because they can never spend some quality time together with you anymore. Patrick stared at Sams back while she headed for the three broomsticks. fine he said to himself in defeat. i'll spend a day Kyla-less He looked around for Kyla and couldnt find her. He wanted to make the most of the moments he had left with her.

Trina finally reached the castle and went straight to her dorm room. She tried on her dress, it fit perfectly, and figured out how she was going to wear her hair. She got out of her dress and put on some comfortable muggle clothes and went down to the common room. Sitting down by the crackling fire she conjured up some hot chocolate and sat there deep in thought, thinking about how she could make Patrick jeleous.

Keith slowly opened his eyes and stretched his arms, he pulled himself up and rubbed his eyes as he scanned the hustling and bustling pub. He yawned, for a moment he felt as though he was turned up-side down and stared blankly at his friends faces which were a bit blurry before he rubbed his eyes, "Guys! Did I just ....faint?" He said with a panicked look on his face and clutched his stomach, feeling sort of ill.

OOC: Sorry my internet connection was dead for almost 3 days

Kat sighed as Keith finally raised his head, waking up. "Yeah you did." She said. "From what I heard, you took a sip of your butter beer and passed out." She picked up her untouched glass of water and handed it to Keith. "Maybe you should drink some water." Kat said.

Keith scratched his head, butter beer? faint? His stomach lurched, .. is he sick? or did someone spike his drink? Shrugging, Keith took a glass of water from Kat and placed his head lightly on her shoulder, "I don't feel so good, maybe we should go back to the castle." He muttered as he played with Kat's fingers.

Kat leaned her head against Keiths and smiled. "Sure. If your feeling that bad." She said grabbing her bags. "Here's the my half of the money for the drinks guys." Kat said taking a galleon out of her coat pocket. She gently pushed Keiths head off her shoulder and slid out of the booth. "Come on Keith, we might need to check you into the hospital, just in case." She said smiling sweetly and holding her hand out.

Keith pulled his jacket tighter, it was freezing outside. He took the shopping bags from Kat, "I'll carry them." He smiled weakly at her and was going to kiss her on the cheek but didn't. What was happening to him? He was feeling detached from Kat as every second passed by, each and every emotion he showed towards Kat felt forced and blank. Shaking his head, Keith followed her back to the castle and after a long walk, they were finally standing in the crowded entrance hall, "Are you coming with me to the Hospital Wing?" He hissed in her ear and forced a grin, he knew deep down inside that his feelings towards her were changing....

"See yah," Tanner said, waving slightly at Kat and Keith as they exited the building. Unthinklingly Tanner reached out to grab a drink of water while turning to Jada. "Is there anywhere you really want to go?" he asked before lifting the glass to his lips and taking a sip, making a face as it went down. Euch, he'd grabbed the butterbeer instead of the water. Quickly replacing the glass he grabbed the right drink this time and took a larger dose, trying to erase the butter beer from his mouth.

Patrick looked around again. Kyla was no where in sight. He sighed and walked back to the castle. On his way there he saw multiple couples together. He frowned thinking of the next day when he would have to ignore Kyla in order to make amends with his friends. He got to the Fat Lady and gave the password stepping into the common room. He saw Trina and mumbled a hello

"Thanks." Kat said as Keith took her bags. "But I'm pretty used to carry shopping bags, I'm a girl." She said chuckling. But Kat was feeling a bit odd, Keith seemed so...distant from her, a minute ago he was fine, but now...who knew, maybe it was just the butterbeer taking effects on him. "Sure thing. Come on." She said taking her wand out and flickering it at her bags. They disappeared and Kat put her wand away. "Ok, lets go." She made her way up the stairs, unbuttoning her coat.

"That's the problem." Tanner said. "I hate butter beer and pumpkin juice, milk, coffee, soda and a lot of other drinks. The only thing that I really like is water and that's more because it doesn't have a taste. Plus I don't necessarily trust that butter beer after Keith's unusual reaction to it." He informed her while putting some coins down on the table to pay for the drink. "I already bought my stuff for the ball before we met up. They'll deliver it to the castle in a few days so I think walking around would be an ok option. Then if we see anything we want to do we can do it."

It was highly embarrassing to just...faint for probably no reason & being the head boy, it was even more humiliating. He gulped as he watched the School nurse pacing from one bedpan to the other, she looked annoyed. Keith nudged Kat to walk into the hospital wing first, "GO and tell her, I-I'll stay here." He muttered under his breath, he closed his eyes picturing the news of his fainting, spread like wild fire around the whole castle and roars of laughter ringing in his ear.

Kat looked at Keith and sighed. "Alright if your that scared of her. I mean she looks harmless." She said looking over at the nurse. But then the nurse starting yelling at a first year because she wasn't asleep. "Um...never mind." Kat said. But she walked forward towards the nurse, tapping her on the shoulder.

"Fainted? Are you sure Miss. Dems? She said, lowering her thick spectacles, "Keith, did you say? Keith McLean?" The nurse looked at Kat with a horrified look, "Never mind." She grimaced once she had spotted Keith sitting in the corner of the hospital wing, looking deeply troubled. She immediately recognized him and dashed towards him like a fox hungry for her prey, "You...you, I know you. How can I forget you, gave me a hard time and I-I am not going to be fooled again YOU BRAT!!" She shouted at the top of her lungs and glared at Keith.

"Madam Chickering, I was just a boy." He somehow managed to speak, "Oh please forgive me, look.. I am a Head Boy now." He pointed at his shiny badge but the nurse didn't look impressed.

Calming her down, Madam Chickering started to examine Keith. After a few minutes, she looked at Kat and then at Keith, "Did you drink a potion, boy?" She said, eyeing him.

"Err no, She just told you i drank a butter beer!" Keith snapped back.

"Don't you use that tone with me! Hmm I suggest you stay over tonight so I can properly test you and whatever filth you have ingested." She said with a grimace, stood up and left to attend other students.

Keith jumped to his feet and walked over to Kat, "What now? She thinks I drank some potion." Oh, this doesn't sound good.
