Before I give the plot I want to make some rules clear

Rules
1. All SS rules apply.
2. Everyone must stay acctive.
3. If you can't stay acctive try your best to tell me before the RP starts.
4. If to people want the same role the person who posts a bio first gets it.

Ok now the plot.

It is Valentine's Day and Hogwarts is going to throw a big ball in honor of the occasion. They are inviting all of there sister schools to attend the ball too. It is the week before the ball and everyone is stressing about who they are going to ask. Trina has had her eye on a guy named Patrick for a while and she knew that he liked her. There was even a rumor going around that he was going to ask her to the ball. All of a sudden he ask the new girl at Hogwarts Kyla. Trina is terribly upset but then finds that Kyla has cast a love charm on Patrick so that he would ask her. Then she also finds out that Kyla has four other guys under a spell so that they would go with her too. The bad news is the four other guys are Trina's four best friend's crushes and that they all wanted to ask her four best friends too. Will Trina and her friends be able to break the charm before it is to late?

Shaun grinned as Sam fervently wrapped her arms about his neck and accepted his offer; her heartbeats were practically pounding out through her chest. He pulled his chin in towards his neck to meet her hazel eyes. It was nice, being lost in them for a moment, but he eventually had to say something. "I think we should probably go catch up with the others, yeah? They probably think I went MIA." He smiled down at her for a second more, then found her hand with his and laced their fingers together before lightly pulling her in the direction of the portrait hole.

Sam smiled at Shaun, then took his hand and laced their fingers together, following him outside of the Portrait Hall and down the various staircases until they finally reached the Great Hall. Sam looked at Shaun and sighed, saying, "You ready now?" She just wanted to make sure, she was absolutely terrified something would go wrong and ruin her perfect night with Shaun.

"Totally ready." Before reaching the Great Hall, Shaun and Sam ran into the others, all decked out in their dress robes as well. He whistled at the girls and grinned as he came to stand by the group. "Jeez. Kat, Jada, Trina. You guys are a vision. Don't be surprised if I try to whisk you away from your dates." Smiling, he turned his head to the guys. "Heh. And you guys actually don't look like complete losers," he joked. "And it looks like you pulled off that muggle look, Keith." Shaun's smile couldn't be wiped off his face right now: here he was, surrounded by his closest friends, hand in hand with Sam, his friends were with their dream dates. Everything was perfect.

Almost, at least. The whole Patrick thing was still lingering, causing the whole night to feel off kilter. Maybe something would happen tonight.

Sam laughed at Shaun, he could make anything he talked about funny. Sam looked down and saw she was holding hands with Shaun. But she didn't quickly pull away and mumble an apology like usual, she kept holding his hand. Nothing was going to ruin her or her friend's nights. Absolutely nothing. Except she was probably was going to ruin Kyla's night. Evil smile.

"Well thank you Trina! I just hope that you can be just as happy with Patrick once we kick Kyla's A-R-S-E!" Sam did a fist pump and grinned, hoping that her friends wanted to kick Kyla's butt as much as she wanted to.

OOC: I just noticed there's this kid named Kyla in my school! :O But don't worry, I'm not gonna kick her butt!

"Your welcome." Trina smiled. She did want to kick Kyla's butt, maybe not as much as Sam but it was there... the hatred."We should get to the Great Hall. They're going to start locking doors soon so no one can sneak out." Trina said. She had heard the headmaster discussing this with their Charms professor at the last dance committee meeting.

OOC: I think I spelled hatred wrong lol. And I have a girl named Kyla in my grade. She sits beside me in math. I dont try to kick her butt or slap her though lol. :0) lol

Sam agreed and jogged after Shaun, lacing her arm with his. As they both walked into the Great Hall, Sam was astonished at how different it looked. Pink and red we're everywhere, decorating the walls, the windows, the tables and the ceiling. Almost everyone was wearing pink and red, (oops!) and all the food was died for Valentine's Day. Sam smiled and looked up at Shaun. This night was going to be absolutely perfect.

Trina giggled and followed Sam and Shaun to the Great Hall. Wow! There was a lot of pink and red in here. Trina looked down at her purple dress then looked at a girl passing her with a dark red ball gown on. At least her cheeks matched the color theme. She was sooooo embarassed!

When they arrived at the Great Hall, Kat stopped. Everyone was wearing...red and pink....HOW BORING! She saw the experssions on Sam and Trina's face and smirked. "Who cares, we look so much better than them." She said.

Shaun turned his head, looking around at all the decorations and all the people. "Jeez. Definitely lots of.." He took a breath in. "Pink." A fast-paced song started up, and Shaun glanced at the others, then to Sam. "Well, anyone up for a dance competition?" A grin sprawled across his face. "I'm quite the break-dancer. You know. Pop, lock, drop it kinda thang." Oh, how muggle-like was he sounding? Hah. Then again, it was a muggle who had taught him to dance. "Hmmm? Who says 'yes'? Keith? C'mon, buddy.. you're all dressed like a muggle anyway!"

A pink coloration crept on his cheeks as she complimented him, "Th-thank you. But you're just blowing me away." He muttered shyly and followed her to the great hall.

Keith's eyes widened, oh my god! He would look so extrusive among the students who were completely clad in wizard clothing unlike him. Gulping, he looked at Kat, "I hope I don't draw some unnecessary attention." Sighing, he walked inside with Kat's arm linked with his gracefully. He winked at the guys and murmured in Kat's ear, "Are you up for a dance?"

Kat couldn't help but notice how quiet and shy Keith was acting. Was he ok? Did she make him that nervous? "Keith you ok?" She asked noticing the pink cheeks too. She looked over at Shaun as he asked if anyone was up for a dance competition. It didn't sound that bad, it might be fun. But when Keith pointed out a couple nearby, Kat's eyes widened. That's what Shaun ment?! No way was she doing that. "Uh, no thanks, I pass." She said looking away from the couple. "But I'm up for the dance with you." She whispered looking at Keith.

Shaun rolled his eyes. "I said break dancing, Keith," he corrected, looking away from the couple. "That's called grinding." He released a sigh. "Well, this song's almost over anyway. I suppose I'll have to show off my moves later." Sliding his hands back into his pockets, he glanced around the hall as he waited for the next song to play. The guy was eager to dance; just standing here was way too dull for a dance that had gotten so much hype around school. A smile crept onto his face as the tempo changed; a slow song now began. "Sam," he smiled, turning to her and offering his hand. "Since you did agree to accompany me, that also means that you are stuck dancing with me during cheesy slow songs."

Sam smiled and took Shaun's hand, letting him pull her towards him. As they danced, Sam asked Shaun, "So, you actually dance to these songs? I don't mind but I like fast-paced songs better." Sam looked around and basically saw that every could was dancing all slow and boring. She turned back to Shaun and said, "Hey, wanna go against the song and dance really fast and muggle style?" Sam started doing the moon-walk, getting some strange looks from other people.

When the slow song started playing Trina sighed and stepped to the side. She was glad her friends were having a good time and she didn't want to bring them down so she forced a smile onto her face and waited for the cong to end.

Madam Chickering paced around the hospital wing, carrying lots of potions, tonics etc. Things were going really good with Patrick The Cat, he had half-transformed back into human although the cat hair were still on him, giving him a rather horrifying appearance. The nice thing was that he could talk again and was providing ample amount of help to the nurse.

Shoving another spoon full of a dark purplish colored liquid, Madam Chickering grinned, "Patrick this the last tonic and now all we have to do is wait. Here, wrap yourself in this sheet and just lay on the bed with your eyes closed. The complete transformation make take at least an hour." Sighing, she petted him on the head, "Good cat." She mumbled and went into her office to get dressed for the dance, SQUEE.

Sam continued doing the moon-walk, ignoring the now glares of other couples. "C'mon Shaun! It's WAY more fun then dancing slow! But I promise I will dance at least 1 full slow song with you..... IF you do the moon-walk with me." Sam smiled and stopped in front of Shaun, eye-brow's raised.

When a slow song came on Kat looked at Keith. "Well, are we just gonna stand here?" She asked playfully raising an eyebrow. "Cause I rather be slow dancing." She added smiling sweetly at him. Kat still couldn't believe she was at the dance with the BEST guy ever, all her ex boyfriends were like.....uh.....icky bats? compared to Keith.

Shaun half-smirked and shook his head at Sam. "This music doesn't even go with moonwalking, but I'll do one moonwalk. Just for you." And he did the famous Michael Jackson dance move. Just once, though. "There," he said, and looked to Sam once again. "Now, do you want to slow dance, or go get punch or some other cliche thing that people do at dances?"

I can't spell!) Sam wondered is Shaun really did like her, if he really meant what he was doing with her. What if this was just a joke? Sam looked down and asked Shaun, "Shaun, do you like me?" Sam looked back up and hoped he would say yes. If no, then she would slap his across the face and run out of the Great Hall, silently crying the whole time. Whoa she was dramatic.

Shaun smiled as Sam's arms crossed around his neck. ~~Secretly, he had been hoping she'd choose dancing.~~ He swayed slowly to the soft music with her, meeting her hazel eyes when she spoke her next words.

He wasn't really one to take things to heart, but when Sam simply asked if he really liked her, his heart kinda broke at hearing how plainly honest she was. It was true, and he knew it, that other students probably didn't see him as the adoring boyfriend type, and that's probably the type of guy Sam should have had.

He took a moment to answer; he wanted to make sure he was saying the right thing before he just blurted something out with the wrong words. "I do like you, Sam," he finally said. He paused, then shrugged in order to at least appear like he was speaking casually. "I'm sorry that I'm not like Keith or Patrick - when he wasn't under that potion, that is. They're both really.. gentlemanly and everything. 'Specially Keith. " Was gentlemanly a good word for that? Oh well, she'd get the gist of it. "But even though I joke around and jokingly flirt with girls," he smiled. "I'm still all yours." Feeling that his little schpeil needed some sort of lightness to balance out all the serious talk, he added one more thing. "Just no calling me 'pooky' or some completely mortifying name like that."

Keith had a blank expression on his face and his hands were clasped together. Umm, this dancing thing was nerve-wrecking and on top of that, the other students were just simply butchering the slow dance. Why did they have to talk so loudly? Can't they shut their gob for a few minutes? It's was totally ruining the mood of the dance. Keith almost wanted to rip the head of a girl who crushed his toe with her high heels. Glaring the girl for a moment, Keith was slowly going into head boy mode when Kat said something, "Oh no, let's dance and umm do you know the name of that girl, the one with pink bows in her hair?" Snicker. She crushed his foot and now he'll make sure she gets a nice payback.

This ball was nothing like the ones held in his mansion every year by his grandparents. They are always so posh and classy. Shrugging, Keith placed his arms around Kat's waist, pulling her closer to him. The song wasn't the best but anyhow it was slow and that's what matters, "Why do you have to look so stunning? it makes me nervous." He said, shyly but still looking into her eyes.
