Before I give the plot I want to make some rules clear

Rules
1. All SS rules apply.
2. Everyone must stay acctive.
3. If you can't stay acctive try your best to tell me before the RP starts.
4. If to people want the same role the person who posts a bio first gets it.

Ok now the plot.

It is Valentine's Day and Hogwarts is going to throw a big ball in honor of the occasion. They are inviting all of there sister schools to attend the ball too. It is the week before the ball and everyone is stressing about who they are going to ask. Trina has had her eye on a guy named Patrick for a while and she knew that he liked her. There was even a rumor going around that he was going to ask her to the ball. All of a sudden he ask the new girl at Hogwarts Kyla. Trina is terribly upset but then finds that Kyla has cast a love charm on Patrick so that he would ask her. Then she also finds out that Kyla has four other guys under a spell so that they would go with her too. The bad news is the four other guys are Trina's four best friend's crushes and that they all wanted to ask her four best friends too. Will Trina and her friends be able to break the charm before it is to late?

"You should just be happy someone asked you at all." Tanner said drily as he walked up and slung an arm around his friend before sitting down. "So what's everyone doing lately?" he asked curiously before taking out a book full of music sheets and flipping through it while waiting for an answer from everyone. He'd not been around much lately and so was intrigued about what would happen next.

Kat looked up at Keith as he expressed his opinion on the dresses. "I'm still going with the yellow one." She said. "Sam you'll find a dress, I'll help. There's bound to be dress there that you'll like." She said smiling. When it came to fashion Kat was an expert. "I think I should warn you right now. Witch Wears is a rather expensive store. That blue dress that I pointed out is 50 galleons." Kat said frowning.

Kat looked over at Shaun and Keith as they began whispering something. What were they saying! Kat had to know. Maybe it was about the dance. Kat pushed the thought aside and turned to look at Tanner as he came and sat down. Looking around, she looked around for Jada but saw her no where in sight. Where was she?

Keith glared at Tanner, "Oh really, has someone asked you yet? Give us the dirty details." He frowned a little, he and Tanner never really got along, they were completely and utterly opposite of each other. Shaking his head, he smiled at Kat, "If you get a dress better than the yellow one, will you still wear it?" He said, taking the magazine from Kat.

Looking over at Kat he spotted her looking around him, seemingly trying to find somebody. But who? Which one of her friends would she possibly think would be seen with him? Oh right Jada would most likely be around if he was, except they weren't even going out so people shouldn't expect her to be wherever he was. Frowning slightly he went back to look at his notation but said offhandedly, "If your looking for Jada she wasn't with me. I haven't seen her in a while."

Turning to Keith Tanner gave him a look before putting down his notation and pouring a cup of tea, wondering whether he should deign the boy with a response or not. The only reason they were friends was because of Patrick. In the end he decided to answer the guy. "A few have. There was a fifth year Ravenclaw, that Hufflepuff seeker girl, I think she's in her third year? And then there was Ariel Lung, that transfer student that's in her seventh year. Of course I said no to them all though." Tanner replied with a slight shrug before sipping at the Bubble Tea that he'd poured.

Kat looked at Keith and listened as he talked. "Depends. If it's a nice dress, like the the yellow one, I'll wear it again. But if its ugly dress, like that purple and black one, its a no, I wouldn't even wear period." She said. I'd chuck it in the fire...hehe. Giving Keith a confused look she asked, "Why do you even care? I'm going with Mark remember." She said. Kat hadn't really decided to go with Mark. If Keith wasn't going to ask her by dinner tomorrow, she was going with the Slytherin.

Kat looked at Tanner and nodded. "She's probably in the Room of Requirement prac-....opps." She said realizing she had just blown Jada's secret. Kat blushed and looked towards her friends.

Leaning forwards with a glint in his eyes that looked almost dangerous Tanner said, "She's practicing, what for exactly? She's already excellent at dancing and singing and I'm guessing that it's not either of those things since if it was I doubt you'd look guilty. Is it something I'm not allowed to know about Kat?" he asked giving her a small smirk. This would be interesting since now he knew there was something he wasn't supposed to know Tanner would have to try his best to catch Jada out.

Kat smiled back at Tanner and replied. "She may be good at singing and dancing, but she still needs to practice." Kat was not going to tell Tanner what Jada was up to in Room of Requirement. Why? Because she herself had no idea what Jada did in the room. She would never tell them.

Mark..! ugh. If Keith find him around Kat being all touchy-feely or lovely-dovey, he was going to give that snake a black eye for sure or perhaps Mark might end up in the hospital wing. Keith's face flushed red with anger, "Hmm, i see. Mark, right? Which year?" He smiled, mischievously, someone's getting detention....coughmarkcough, afterall there are certain good points about being the head boy.

"You don't know do you?" Tanner asked almost dejectedly, slumping back down in his seat. This sucked but at least he had some kind of idea where to go looking for Jada. "So umm do you guys know if anyone has asked Jada to the dance yet?" he asked, trying to sound disinterested but not completely succeeding with his task.

"I'm busy with school to you know. If I wasn't they probably would have kicked me out ages ago from all the stunts I've pulled. To them my only saving grace is that I get good grades in basically every class." Which was true. Tanner ranked in the top ten of all his classes and just this morning the headmaster had told him that it was only his grades that were keeping him here. Not that he needed them since he intended to be a pianist but still. "Oh and I don't sing. I act and play the piano, Jada is the one who sings and she puts everyone else's voices to shame."

Kat looked towards the Slytherin Table, searching for Mark. "His....right over there. And he's a seventh year." She said pointing towards a handsome looking boy. "Why? What are you going to do?" She asked seeing the smile on Keith's face. Something was up. Keith was acting really strange...

Everytime I try I seem to not be able to talk and the opportunity passes me by." Tanner said, frowning at his own predicament. "Your her friend, tell me what does she like? "Yea I know she loves music. It's the one thing I know we definitely agree upon." Midnight strolls hmm? But going out after curfew could get her in trouble so that was out of the question. I suppose I could try the picnic thing. "Thank's Kat." He said smiling slightly sadly before perking up at her remembered bit of information. "Write her a song?" he asked, eyes sparkling with ideas. This he could do. He was a musician after all and he wasn't too bad at writing songs. Plus it was the thought that counts right? Leaning over the table he hugged Kat briefly for her inspiration before grabbing out a quill and piece of parchment, scribbling down a few lyrics, his tea completely forgotten.

Sam looked up when Tanner came to the table and said, "Hey Tanner! Where ya been?" But before he could answer, Sam snatched the magazine from across the table and started flipping through it. "Ohh! Kat, Trina! I like this grey one!" More flipping. "Ooo! And this purple one is pretty too!" Even more flipping. "*gasp* This one is SO pretty!" Sam pointed to a green dress on the next page. She started frantically flipping again, her eyes darting back and froth between the pages until she stopped on page 37. "Ohmegosh..... LOOK AT THIS DRESS! I LOVE IT!" She squealed, pointing to a blue dress. "Well, which one do you think would look best on me you guys?"

"Hey, mate," Shaun greeted Tanner and gave him a casual nod. He turned to look at the magazine that the girls were fussing over and he didn't hesitate to give his opinion. "Hmm.. I'd say the purple or the green," Shaun suggested, eyeing the dresses on the page. "I don't know. Whatever you think is best." He then shrugged and turned back to his food, trying to look disinterested.

Kat snatched her magazine back and looked at the dresses Sam had pointed out. "The gray in my opinion the gray is a little boring." She said. "I'd go with the green one. It'll bring out your eyes." She said putting her magazine in her bag. She'd try the dresses on before buying one. Looking down at her watch, Kat sighed and stood up. "I better get to Care of Magical Creatures." She said. "I'll see you at dinner." She said waving good bye.

"See you later everyone." Keith clutched a muffin, slinging his bag on his shoulder, he stood up, "I'll be in the common room.... if anyone needs me." He muttered and sped off. On his way he glared at Mark but quietly left the great hall.

Back in the common room, Keith pulled off his tie and plopped on the couch. He glanced around the room, surprisingly it was deserted and this was his chance to peacefully write the letter. He dug out his favorite sea-green scented parchment (1st one) which was very costly but the best one out there & decided to write a short poem even though he wasn't the most poetic person.

He left a nice amount of space at the top and scribbled "Will you go to dance with me?" at the bottom along with a small "- Keith". He was completely immersed in his thoughts and was chewing at the end of his quill when suddenly a short poem type words came to him, he excitedly jotted them down. He gave a last look at the letter then folded it carefully and placed it between the pages of his black diary.

Dear Katherine,

"I loved you then,
And I love you still;
I adore you now,
And I always will."

Will you go to the dance with me?

Kat had decided to skip the rest of classes. The professor would miss her, he was as blind as a bat. She gave the password and walked into the common room. She didn't notice Keith sitting on the couch and made her way up to the girls dormitory while tying her hair up. She entered the girls dormitory and sat down on her bed, waiting for her friends.

Jada sneaked out the Room of Requirement, done with her singing practice. After being caught by Tanner in the her usually practice spot, she was now using the Room of Requirement, which was better. She made her way down to the lake and pulled her shoes off, dipping her feet into the cold lake water.

ooc: Tristin are we still going with our little idea about the note going to a different person or are we going to go with the boys drinking the love potion. Herminny still hasn't sent me a reply.

Tanner sighed in frustration, angrily crossing out the words to the song he'd written. Why was it so difficult? He'd never had this much difficulty before, although looking back on it the song wasn't that bad, it just needed some tweaking. Now that he'd actually crossed out what he didn't like and kept what he did he needed to find Jada. No time like the present to get his feelings for her out in the open after all. But where to look?

Tanner didn't know why but as soon as he got up he started to head towards the lake. It wasn't a place he'd usually go so he was unsure why he was heading there now. He decided to go with it though and was happy he did as upon rounding a corner he spotted Jada. She looked so peaceful sitting there and he realised that it was these moments when she made his heart skip a beat most. He remembered that the first time they'd met she'd been sitting just like this in almost the exact same position as well.

Plucking up his courage he walked stealthily towards her. "It's really tranquil down here compared to the rest of the castle isn't it?" he asked while falling down next to her his head laying on his hands.

When she heard the grass behind her rustle, Jada turned a little and saw Tanner. She smiled as he plopped down next to him. "It is. I always come out here when I need to relax, or need help writing a song." She replied sighing peacefully. "So how was your day?" She asked.

"Honestly? Sucky. I got called to the Head's office again. He's thinking of putting me on probation again and he's convinced that I was part of an incident that occurred a few days ago that ended up in the destruction of his office. Of course I wasn't but you know how he is." he said shrugging slightly. "Speaking of songs I have something to show you if you don't mind going with me that is?" he asked slightly hesitant once more.

Kyla finally decided to quit moping and do some thing to cheer herself up that she did'nt need Patrick for. She decided to go down to the lake because it's just so beautiful there that it's always a spirit lifter or so she thought. When she got down to the lake she saw just the group of people she did not want to see but decided to stay anyway, she needed the atmosphere now more then ever regardless of the consequence which she was pretty sure was coming the moment they noticed her existence.

OOC: Please don't make this boring by just leaving Kyla alone. Get back at her, you know you want to, give her a real reason to want to love potion all the guys

"But of course. They all expect it of me anyway so why not give them what they want." Truthfully it was easier to meet their expectations than to change them, plus it gave him the element of surprise when it came to certain things. "Umm well it's just a song I've been working on and I want your opinion on it. That's if you don't mind that is..." He said while pushing himself up. Dusting his clothes off Tanner then held out a hand for Jada, hoping she would take it.

Looking down disheartened slightly Tanner was about to just tell her to forget it and that he'd tell her another time when he noticed who she was walking towards. It was a girl. Kyla. He knew that name. "Isn't she that pathetic girl that propositioned Patrick?" he asked the world in general.
