Before I give the plot I want to make some rules clear

Rules
1. All SS rules apply.
2. Everyone must stay acctive.
3. If you can't stay acctive try your best to tell me before the RP starts.
4. If to people want the same role the person who posts a bio first gets it.

Ok now the plot.

It is Valentine's Day and Hogwarts is going to throw a big ball in honor of the occasion. They are inviting all of there sister schools to attend the ball too. It is the week before the ball and everyone is stressing about who they are going to ask. Trina has had her eye on a guy named Patrick for a while and she knew that he liked her. There was even a rumor going around that he was going to ask her to the ball. All of a sudden he ask the new girl at Hogwarts Kyla. Trina is terribly upset but then finds that Kyla has cast a love charm on Patrick so that he would ask her. Then she also finds out that Kyla has four other guys under a spell so that they would go with her too. The bad news is the four other guys are Trina's four best friend's crushes and that they all wanted to ask her four best friends too. Will Trina and her friends be able to break the charm before it is to late?

Sam zipped yet again up the Marble Staircase and ran outside the DADA classroom, peeking inside.

Kat watched Sam leave the room, thinking how strange the girl could be. She stood up and took in a deep breath. Maybe she should go ask Keith herself. She left the girls dormitory, not bothering to fix the messy hair Sam had given her. She looked down at the common room to notice Keith. At once she began panicking. Had he heard Sam yelling? Oh no what if he did?! No Kat, build up your nervous and stop being a wimp!

So Kat walked down the stairs and walked over to where Keith sat. "Uh K-Keith? C-can I talk to you?" She asked, ready to start tripping over her own words.

"It is a lie. I'm really sorry Tri, if i ever led you on but i never liked you" Patrick said "And besides if i was under a potion dont you thi-" Patrick was cut off by Professor walter asking him a question

"Mr. Riley. Name the medical term for someone who is a werewolf"

Patrick immediatly replied "The medical term is Lycanthropy, however its not very commonly used"

"Correct! 10 point to Gryffindor" The professor said a wide smile on his face. He turned to Trina "And Ms.Self. In what year was the Werewolf Code of Conduct begun?"

Patrick was tempted to give her the answer but was feeling slightly sour towards her so she shoved aside the feeling and turned to look at her.

He thought and realized that his diary was on top of him. With a panicked expression on his face, Keith quickly clutched the diary and looked around frantically for his bag,...oh noes... his bag was not where he left it. Without wasting a second, he tossed the diary in the fireplace which was thankfully extinguished and smiled sheepishly at Kat, "Uh.. what is it, Kat?" He muffled. Squinting his eyes, he rose from the couch and tumbled to the ground. "Keith you are such a DORK!" He thought to himself and stood in front of her, gently rubbing his bum.

She asked walking over to the fireplace. She bent down and picked the book up. "Isn't this your diary?"

"Please say, I am all ears." Keith said with a warm smile. This is it! This the perfect moment to ask her about the dance, the common room was deserted and they were alone so lets forget about the whole love-letter thing. Keith took the diary from Kat's hand and flopped it on the couch.

He took a few steps closer to Kat and bent down on one knee. This was all too cheesy for Keith's taste but girls generally like this stuff and he was a bit old-fashioned and like doing things the classic way. Keith gently grasped Kat's hand and caressed it, "Kathrine Nicolette Dems.." He couldn't believe it, Keith was actually doing it and he didn't even know how he got this sudden wave of courage, maybe because they were alone or was it the weird dream he just saw? Shrugging lightly, he closed his eyes and took a deep breath, "Maybe, only if you want.. I am not pressuring you but will be my date for the dance?" He finally managed to blurt it out, it felt good and peaceful... Whoa. Keith patiently waited and gazed into Kat's eyes, he felt as if he could just look into them forever and ever.

When Trina meet his gaze, Patrick felt that flicker again. The flicker that had started the night she kissed him. He sighed and tore off a piece of paper, wrote 1637 on it, he turned the scrap of paper so Trina could see what he had written. I did this as a friend, because i feel sorry for her he reasoned in his head.

Sam was leaning against the wall with her arms crossed, every now and then peeking into the DADA classroom. She lingered a little longer when she saw Patrick giving Trina the answer to a question. "Ha, typical Patrick."

Kat blushed, but smiled nonetheless. Things were finally working out for her. She felt a bad for Trina though. While everything in Kat's world was perfect and great, Trina's world was....awful. She stood up with Keith and chuckled. "It's a yes." She said, her smile growing wider. "Normally I would be screaming and jumping up and down," Kat said sitting down on the couch. "I just can't believe that you asked me." She said looking at Keith.

"Why is it so hard to believe?" Keith chuckled and flopped on the couch with a light thud. With a light flick of his wand, the fireplace lit up and the whole common room was now draped in an orange-ish lighting, making the atmosphere a lot more cozy & warm as it was hailing outside. "Kat, you know how much I love to write but a few years back I wrote a song, it’s not complete. Mind you, I am no singer."

He used to sneak out at night and would try to play Tanner’s guitar at the astronomy tower with the lyrics in front of him. The song was not specifically written for someone however, the thought behind it was Keith’s grandma, who at that time was the only woman he loved with all his heart. Now the situation was a bit different and dedicating the song to Kat will be the most appropriate thing to do.

Keith cleared his throat & summoned Tanner's old guitar, which landed right on his lap. He struck the guitar chords and tried to recycle the tune in his head, Keith looked at Kat and his lips curled into a smile, no wonder that she looked surprised since nobody has ever seen this sensitive or romantic side of Keith. “The song’s called Beautiful Girl & umm i am dedicating it to you.” Keith mumbled and took a deeeeeeep breathe.

He began striking the guitar cords and sang it to her. At the end of the song, Keith shut his eyes, waiting for Kat to utter a word. He might not be the best singer or guitarist in the world but the song was very close to his heart and the best was to express his feelings because for Keith, she was not just his date but the only girl he adored and perhaps loved for a very long time.

Kat looked at Keith. "Its hard because...because I really like you Keith." She said trying to smile. She pulled her legs up on the couch, hugging them, and resting her head on her knees. As the lights disappeared and the fireplace burst into life, she couldn't help but smile. She was excited, but nervous at the same time. She watched as a old guitar flew over to Keith and landed on his lap. "It doesn't really matter if you can't sing. Just as long as it means something." And as Keith began to sing, Kat could feel her heart flutter. Keith had dedicated a song for her, for her, Kat. When he finished she didn't hesitate to say her opinion. "That was beautiful." She whispered smiling at him, leaning over to kiss his cheek.

Kat was surprised, she honestly hadn't seen it coming. It was only meant to be a kiss on the cheek, but it was now on the lips. She shuddered as she felt Keith's hand run threw her hair. Finally Kat broke the kiss. She didn't want to, but it couldn't go on forever. Kat looked at Keith, and smiled shyly. She then leaned her head on Keith's shoulder, sighing. Things were going great.

"Hey Keith. Isn't your birthday on the day of the dance?" She asked remembering the thought all of a sudden.

Keith could see the disappointment on Kat's face but, oh well, he was seriously hungry and he really needed to tell his mates about this little exchange. Keith summoned a magazine and slung his hand around Kat's shoulder as they left the common room.

The great hall was pretty much packed, however, his friends were no where near sight, sighing, Keith grabbed some Salmon Fishcakes and passed some towards Kat. Uh oh! Why is she asking about his birthday as he hated it! Okay he might not hate it so much anymore as he was going to the dance that day, the day he avoided all his life at school. Kat shrugged her shoulders and took the magazine from Keith. She examined the outfits carefully. Finally she made up her mind and set the magazine back down on the table for Keith to see. "This one." She said pointing at a picture of fancy black robes. "The flyers said that guys need to wear dress robes and I personally think that robes that aren't black look extremely ugly." She said, picking up a cheese stick.

Kat took a bite of the cheese stick and sighed. "So what are we going to do about the antidote. We still haven't found it and Sam and Shaun didn't find anything ever." She said after a while. She just felt so bad that Trina would have to go with a snotty Ravenclaw that she didn't even like. "I just feel really bad that Trina had to deal with that little brat Kyla." She said squeezing the cheese stick in her hand.

Dress Robes? Erm, Keith didn't like the idea of wearing dress robes at all but Kat was right about them being black, anything other than black will look tacky. He had something in mind for himself but it wasn't exactly dress robe, it was more of muggle type. "How about this, that and the last one? I want to wear anyone of these but I am seriously considering the last one." He said, pressing his finger on his favorite attire.

He felt a bit down when Kat mentioned the potion and Trina and Kyla. He and everyone were helpless, they can't possibly find an antidote to an unknown love potion! But something struck his mind, "Kat, what if there is no antidote for this? Maybe it's charm, a special one and have you seen those muggle cartoons? Like.... the ones were the prince kisses the princess at exactly 12 ' O Clock to break the spell? Something like that." Keith said, maybe this made sense.

OOC: The model in the pics is the one who portray's Keith. So yeah lol & we should soon skip to hogsmeade
