Tallan Heights is the perfect guy. He’s funny, a good student, sporty, good-looking, he has a good group of friends, and he’s friendly. The only problem is, is that there’s one boy in school that is determined to take that all away from him.

Kesler Mitchell is the bad-guy. This Slytherin bad boy is the cause of all Tallan’s troubles. Kesler is also sporty and smart, but he’s devious, cunning, and completely jealous of Tallan, although he won’t admit it.

So, what other way to stop the jealousy, then to steal everything Tallan’s got? Throughout the summer, Kesler’s thought of a ploy to get Tallan’s girl, friends, and hopefully the whole of Hogwarts, against this lone, seventh year Gryffie.

Tallan, however, has to fight back to keep things he holds dear to him. As his girlfriend slowly slips away and his friends get more distant, will he even want to fight back?

Will Kesler succeed? Or will his plot to ruin Tallan’s life back-fire?

Jenna couldn't help but feel smug what Kesler said he didn't know what he'd do without her. "I'm sure you'd find another person to do your dirty work," she teased, winking at Kesler. "But I really am pretty cool, aren't I?" That was a rhetorical question, of course. She already knew the answer.

She sighed and slipped on her shoes. She couldn't believe the day was almost over, and she'd have to go to classes again tomorrow. Ugh.

Nicole grinned as well as she stood up and grabbed her bag, "lets go then." She said smiling and waited for Tallan and she looked around the Great Hall. She was pretty sure that Tatum and Derec would be in the common room.

Tallan offered his hand to Nicole as he caught up with her. "So how was your day?" he asked, wanting to start conversation. He smiled back at Nessy and Pat, not forgetting the questions he had for them. He turned his head back around and started walking up to the Common room.

Nicole took his hand with a smile and walked up to the common room with him. "Haven't you asked me that? And weren't we together nearly all day anyway?" She asked but she was grinning.

Tallan looked over at Nicole, surprised. She was suppose to answer the question! He laughed and shrugged. "Yeah, but maybe the answer has changed?" he raised an eyebrow, wondering if the answer had changed. "I mean, maybe spending the day with me might've made it different. Good different, of course, but still different." he grinned and looked ahead, almost hearing Nicole roll her eyes.

"Of course it's a good different!" She said grinning at him and resisting from rolling her eyes. "Even though it was a bit boring as usual, it was still fun." She smiled at him and was telling the truth, she always had fun around him.

Tallan grinned, reaching his free hand out when they reached the portrait hole. He opened it, and stood back to let Nicole in first. "Why thank you, then." He automatically assumed he was part of the reason it was 'still fun'. "I had a great day," he told Nicole matter-of-factly.

"Thanks." She said walking into the common room, "you made it fun by the way." Nicole winked at him and sure enough, she saw Derec and Tatum. "I think you should leave them be for now."

Tallan chuckled when he stepped inside, seeing Tatum and Derec. He wanted so badly to yell something then and there that would embarrass Derec - isn't that was best friends are for? - but stopped himself because Nicole said they should be left alone for a bit.

"Shall we go sit...away from them?" he asked, raising an eyebrow as he looked over at the two lovebirds.

Nicole nodded and sat down on a couch away from their friends, "you can always tease Derec later, y'know." She said smiling at Tallan and she looked up at him.

"And I will," Tallan promised, taking a seat next to Nicole. He stretched out his legs and put his arms on the back of the couch. "But I think I'll let him have his fun first. I mean, I haven't even teased Pat yet. About the obvious thing going on between him and Nessy." He was really quite proud of himself for noticing his friends were acting different, and assuming the reason.

Patrick frowned slightly, pretending not to notice her blushing. It was hard, though, because he liked it when she blushed; she looked really cute. He shook his head slightly, though. Actually, I thought we'd just hang out the two of us for awhile... He looked away, slightly awkwardly, but smiling.

Nessy looked up at him and smiled. "Really?" She grinned them at him and nodded. "Alright then. Whered you want to go?" She stood up holding out her hand for him to take with an admiring smile on her face.

Patrick looked back at her and smiled, quickly grabbing her hand before sweeping her up in his arms and spinning her for a moment. Then he set her upright on her feet with a brilliant smile on his face and pulled her towards the Entrance Hall. Whatever you want to do, madame. The night is yours for the taking... He looked back at her smiling.

She squealed as he spun her and felt her hair whip around with her. She chuckled as she felt the floor again with her feet. "Thats mean. You could have warned me." She smiled up at him. "Hmm. I get to choose? How about we go sit under a tree and..." She trailed off. "I dont know."

Still grinning and hoping he knew what she was thinking, Pat pulled her much-too-eagerly through the Entrance Hall and out onto the grounds where he headed towards the lake. Finding the area mostly vacant, he grinned and dropped Nessy's hand, plopping himself down under a low tree and glancing out over the water as he messed up his hair.

Nessy gave a giggle as he sat down and she followed him. "Any idea what Kesler wanted?" She spoke pretty quietly trying to answer the question herself in her head. But she wasnt getting very far with it. She looked up at Pat and chuckled softly through her nose.

Patrick smiled as she sat down beside him, but shrugged at her question, messing up his hair subconsciously as he did so. Dunno. Probably to come steal you away from me. I know I would. But that'll never happen. He took her hand again before looking up at her and smiling once more.

Pat's face looked shock for a moment, then he grinned when he noticed she was just joking around with him. At her question, he nodded. Of course, I would. That is, as long as you like that Rudolph Valentino kind of stuff. He smiled and leaned in to kiss her.

How badly Derec wanted to just swoop in and kiss her. He would every now and then drop his quill and pretend to pick it up, meaning to fall into her and kiss her, but fear, and other emotions just stopped him. Besides, weren't the girls the one that kissed a guy first? Derec sighed, ruffling his hair out of exhassperation and that he was concintrating. He heared the portrait open, and turned his head to see who had come in. Tal and Cole. Great. Then he blushed as he realized his hand had somehow found it's way to Tatum's hand. Gathering his stuff quickly he smiled at Tatum. "Thanks for, um, ya."he said, and with that he was gone to sit with Tal and Cole, faster than a angry hord of Doxeys.

"Hey."he said to Tal and Cole, before throwing his bag down, and cursing softly as his ink bottles broke from the impact. Pulling out his wand he started cleaning it up, but his mind was on other things and his bag burst on fire. "Great!"he said, gettting up and stomping on it to put it out.

"Hey Derec." Nicole said with a smile and looked at him in surprise, "are you okay?" She asked looking at him, Derec usually didn't act like this. Nicole looked at Tallan with slight confusion on her face.
