Pat looked up from his place leaning against the back of the couch at Tallan's figure running down the steps. You're running like you stole something.... One of his dark eyebrows raised as he grinned. Tal.... what'd you do? He chuckled and shook his head.

"Shot water at Derec," Tallan answered casually, flopping onto the couch. He looked up at Pat, then chuckled. "I couldn't resist. And aguamenti is such an easy spell..." he trailed off, shaking his head. He was sure Pat would understand.

Nicole sighed as sun started to shine in her eyes, she wanted to just keep on sleeping but knew that wouldn't be a very good idea. It did take her quite a while to get ready though. After having a quick shower, and brushing her hair for what seemed a very long time, she was finally dressed. Nicole walked down into the common room running her hair through her soft blonde hair once more. Nicole grinned as she saw Tallan and Pat and immediately came over to them. "Morning, boys."

Pat's eyes swam to the the point on the girls' staircase where he could see who was coming down as he heard footsteps on it, and he couldn't immediately hide his disappointment when Nicole was the one coming downstairs. He quickly put a smile on his face, though, at her greeting. Morning, Nicole, he said, his voice obviously not recovered from the disappointment.

Tallan chuckled at the disappointment in Pat's voice. But he sat up and smiled to Nicole. "Morning," he greeted cheerfully. Then, with a smirk to Pat, he asked, "Is Nessy awake, by any chance?" he couldn't help but snicker as he looked at Pat again.

Pat's eyes swiveled to Tal with a dark look etched into them. Concealing a grin fairly well, though, Pat hoped Tal was focusing on the look he was getting and not the wand at Pat's side, pointing at Tal as he nonverbally cast his friend's spell, Aguamenti straight at his perfectly gelled hair.

Tallan started with a laugh at the look Pat was giving him. "Hey, I - ARGH!" his hands flew to his head as he was spurted with a jet of cold, wet water. Right at his hair!

His glared at his best friend, knowing that he would get revenge. He didn't know when, and he didn't know how, but he would. No one got his hair wet without paying for it. "You better sleep with your eyes open," he warned Pat, trying his best not to laugh. His threat was pretty empty, because there was really nothing he could do. But he'd think of something, yes.

He shook his head as he ran his hands over his hair. His gel was washed off, and hair now hung flat against the side of his face. He tried desperately to get it to stick back up again, but it was hopeless. He chuckled and kept trying to get it back the way it had been.

Pat roared with laughter at the result his spell had caused, and it took him a few minutes before he stood up, wiping tears from the corners of his eyes. He grinned at his best friend. No problem, bro. I'e been practicing. He opened his eyes wide and pretended to snore, chuckling again.

Nicole chuckled as the two boys joined her, "don't worry Pat, she'll be down in no time, she usually wakes up earlier then me, anyway." She sat said to Pat with a smile and then washed the two boys grinning the whole time. She giggled as she watched Tallan, "just give up." She told him looking at his hair. "Unless you know a spell, it's not going to work and you still look gorgeous."

Tallan chuckled and dropped his hands as Nicole said to give up. Hearing her say he still looked gorgeous, he couldn't help the smirk that came onto his face. "As long as I still look amazing..." He trailed off, winking at her. He wasn't that egotistic. ...Well, maybe he was, but he was just playing around for the moment.

"Well, shall we go to breakfast now, or wait for everyone else? I'm sure Derec will be up soon, concidering that water, and his stomach." He looked over to Pat, though, sure that he'd want to wait for Nessy.

Nicole laughed at Tallan and she grinned at him. "I don't mind if we wait or not, but what did you do to Derec this time?" She asked shaking her head slightly but Nicole was still really curious.

"Shot water at him," Tallan repeated nonchalantly. "I thought it'd be nicer than throwing my shoe at him...but apparently it's not as affective," he glanced up at the stairs which were clearly Derec-free, then looked back at Nicole pointedly, as if proving his point. "That kid could sleep through anything." he shook his head, a grin coming to his face.

Derec gasped as water hit him on the head. First a shoe, now this? Pretty low Tallan...low. Derec looked around, then closed his eyes, and the minute his head hit the pillow, he was out again.

GROWL! Growl.....Derec yawned loudly as he looked around. Growl...He jumped and grabed his wand, thinking some boggart or something was under his bed waiting to eat him....ALIVE! Then he looked down and chuckled. "It's ok. I'll be down there before you can say, 'doxey'."he said, getting out of bed and putting on his stuff. When his robes where on, he grabed his wand, ruffled his hair(even though it already was messy)and walked out into the common room.

Derec glanced around and spotted his victum. Tallan. He snuck up, then jumped up and tackled Tallan down to the ground. "Look at me! I'm all wet!"he said as he punched Tallan lightly in the arm, winking.

Nicole laughed, "are you going to do this every morning?" She asked Tallan with a grin when out of no where, Derec seemed to appear and tackle Tallan to the ground. She only started laughing more at this as she looked at the two boys.

Pat's eyes swiveled up to the girl's staircase, but Nessy wasn't there. He sighed just as Derec tackled Tallan and, taking use of the momentary distraction, ducked out of the common room and headed down to breakfast. His stomach had gotten the better of him.... this time. Plus, he didn't want to seem too clingy.

Nicole stepped away from where Derec and Tallan were slightly, "I'll see you two at breakfast." She said with a chuckle, not even sure if they would pay attention to her, not that she minded. Nicole shook her head slightly and started to walk towards the portrait hole.

Tallan screamed um...arrrgh!ed when Derec tackled him. He sighed dramatically as he waited for his friend to get off him, and rolled his eyes. When Nicole said she was going down to breakfast, Tallan's eyes widened and he shoved him to the side. "Sucker," he snickered, grinning.

Ducking - in case of an attack from Derec - Tallan jogged to catch up to Nicole. "Mind if I escort you down to the Great Hall?" he asked, giving her a suppose-to-be-charming smile.

"Not at all," Nicole replied stopping and holding out her hand for Tallan. Even as long as she had known Tallan, that charming smile of his never failed to make her face light up. She grinned and looked at Tal with her light brown eyes. Now that she wouldn't be in danger of Derec or Tallan tackling each other, she was perfectly happy for him to join her to breakfast.

Tallan grinned and accepted the hand that Nicole held out to him. "Second day of class, huh?" he said, the familiar smirk coming to his face. He always seemed to be happy when he was around Nicole. Which wasn't surprising, honestly. She was his girlfriend, and all.

"It feels so weird to me. It feels like when I go home, it's not the same." he raised his eyebrows at himself. "And now I've gone and got my head all confused, so just ignore me." and as he said that, he raised an arm and hung it around Nicole's shoulder, so it would be darn near impossible for her to ignore him.

Jenna sighed as she woke up, and got ready quickly. She was eager to start on Kesler's plan, even though it would mean acting civil toward Gryffindors. She shuddered at the thought.

But, if it was for Kesler, how could she resist? She's just have to toughen up and do it, because a good thing might actually come from it. With another, more cheerful sigh, she entered the Slytherin common room to wait for anyone else that might want to go to breakfast with her.

"What do you mean?" Nicole asked looking softly at Tallan and doing anything but ignoring him. Nicole was almost certain she knew what he did mean, she just wanted to be completely sure before she said anything else to him. Nicole smiled when he put his arm around her shoulder. She always loved being around him so much.

Sucker? Oh that Tal was dead. "I am so not a sucker."Derec said, frowning deeply at his best mate. He shook his head, and ran after the two, his eyes full of excitment. "So are we going to do something fun today? Like skip Potions and go do Quidditch?"he asked, winking at Nicole.

Nicole laughed as Derec joined them, "hey, you know what? Apart from Nessy, I always seem to be hanging around boys." She said shaking her head slightly. "Soon I'll be obsessed with Quidditch and thinking about food 24/7." She joked. Nicole knew there was a lot more to both of them though, she was just teasing them.

Tallan shrugged at Nicole, slightly embarrassed. He was about to reply, though, when Derec showed up. Tal repressed a sigh, surprisingly grateful for his friend's intrusion. "I wish, Der Bear!" he said with a grin, elbowing Derec playfully in the ribs. "I don't think Nic would let us, though." he said, looking down with a smirk at his girlfriend.

He laughed when Nicole made the comment about hanging out with guys. "You know, not everything about us is Quidditch and food. We also care quite a bit about ourselves...and our hair." he winked, saying this just to get Nicole to laugh. But then..."FOOD!" he exclaimed, reaching the Great Hall.

"Hey!" Nicole said indignantly as Tallan said she wouldn't let them. "If you want to skip then I'd be happy to come with you, just because I care about studying sometimes doesn't mean I enjoy it." She said sticking her tongue out at Tallan.

Nicole laughed at Tallan, she knew there was way more to him then that but it was still funny. She rolled her eyes as they reached the Great Hall.

Nessy woke up and mentally slapped her forehead hard. "gosh dont tell me im late for breakfast." she moaned as she pulled herself from her bed and clambered around still half asleep putting her uniform on. "OW" She grabbed her now bleedign toe and shover her sock on over it slipping her foot into the shoe wincing at each movement she made toward the stairs.

It soon became a bit easier to walk and she turned it into a fast walk grinning at the fact Pat was going to be down there. Upon turning into teh great hall she took a seat grinning with the usual morning and slipped her shoe off quickly grabbing her sore throbbing toe.
