Tallan Heights is the perfect guy. He’s funny, a good student, sporty, good-looking, he has a good group of friends, and he’s friendly. The only problem is, is that there’s one boy in school that is determined to take that all away from him.

Kesler Mitchell is the bad-guy. This Slytherin bad boy is the cause of all Tallan’s troubles. Kesler is also sporty and smart, but he’s devious, cunning, and completely jealous of Tallan, although he won’t admit it.

So, what other way to stop the jealousy, then to steal everything Tallan’s got? Throughout the summer, Kesler’s thought of a ploy to get Tallan’s girl, friends, and hopefully the whole of Hogwarts, against this lone, seventh year Gryffie.

Tallan, however, has to fight back to keep things he holds dear to him. As his girlfriend slowly slips away and his friends get more distant, will he even want to fight back?

Will Kesler succeed? Or will his plot to ruin Tallan’s life back-fire?

Nessy grinned. "Guess so." She smirked and turned to look at him. "Whens the next Hogsmeade?" She asked watching him but not making it as obvious as she would of liked to as what she was really asking.

Slightly oblivious to what she was edging at, Pat thought it over for a moment as they headed to lunch (for time's sake), chuckling to himself when he remembered the date. 21st of September. My birthday, remember? He grinned at her, pausing for a moment as they reached the door to the Great Hall, a few things clicking into place. Still trying to act cool, though, as he resumed their previous pace, he said, We should go together. It'd be fun.

Tallan opened his mouth to reply, then shut it. She should've guessed why! Did he have to spell it out for her? ...Well, he would. "You." he said simply, raising an eyebrow and looking at Nicole as if she'd grown another head.

"You're my good reason." He informed her. That should've been obvious. He chuckled and shook his head when he saw her grin. Of course she had been messing with him.

"Yeah, that's a good thing." She said with a wink, "still... You don't think Derec and Patrick don't have a good reason for flirting with whoever they are?" She asked him with a smile. Nicole then laughed at his expression, "the next hogsmede trip is pretty soon. Isn't it?" SHe asked him with an innocent smile.

Tallan laughed and shrugged. "Nah, I'm sure they do," he reasoned. "I just think I like my reason better." he explained with a chuckle. When she mentioned Hogsmeade with a too-innocent smile, Tallan shook his head.

"I don't have a date, ya know," he told her. "Would you like to be mine?" he was sure he knew the answer, but it was just nice to ask.

Nessy smiled at him as she turned to look at him. "We should. But I dont go with people that dont ask." She grinned up at him moving slowly up on her tip toes and lingering at his height for a couple of seconds before lowering down turning to walk away again a smirk playing at her lips.

"I think that's a very good reason then." She said with a smile at Tallan. "You want to take me to hogsmede?" She asked in a pretend amazed voice. "Of course I want to go with you Tallan." She said in a sweet tone and kissed him on the cheek.

Pat raised an eyebrow at her, quickly speeding up his pace and catching her hand as she walked away; he turned her back towards him. What does that exactly mean? You must remember - us guys, he tapped his head, ...half a brain, he finished, grinning.

Now that was even more confusing, though in a much different way. He looked down at her hands in his and chuckled. Being sure to keep her hands within his own, Pat knelt down on one knee (even though they were in the middle of the great hall) and said, Oh, Loch-Nessy, will you go to Hogsmeade with me? He grinned.

Nessy blushed as he got down on one knee and pulled her hands from his to cover her face. "Pat youre embarassing me." She said as she pulled tehm away partly. As he asked her she felt a grin spread wide across her face as she nodded. "Course Trickaa." She smiled giving him one of her handfs to pull him up. "Now get up. Im embrassed. Seriously."

She tried to pick the right words without straight out saying obsessive compulsive or anything of the like. He knew, but still! "Me," she finally finished. "No, don't die! Especially because of something tragic like tie-chokery!" she teased as she watched him re-tie it back up. "Beautiful!" She said with a giggle. Though... "You could have just taken it off completely if you liked. That's still fixing right?" Her hands meandered to his neck, touching the tie to pull it apart again, but she looked to him first a small smirk on her own lips.

That's exactly what they are; never growing up," she said, thinking of mostly the Gryffindors but also anyone else that wasn't part of Slytherin. Honestly. It was sad.

"I agree," Jenna drawled. She kicked off her shoes, letting them fall to the floor, and loosened her tie. She sighed and looked toward the entrance to the common room, wondering where Kesler might be. And Cam, too. And everyone else. The common room was strangly empty of any seventh years.

Pat chuckled, pulling himself up with his own strength, but not letting go of her hand. It remained in his as they walked over to the table. That's what I'm here for. Well, that and my good looks. He smiled as their arms swung slightly as they walked.

Tallan chuckled at her teasing. He wasn't used to be called Mr. Heights by anyone except teachers. It was interesting to hear Nicole call him that. "Um, I don't know. I suppose you can choose, since you're the lady and all," he smirked at her, thinking, But whatever it is, I need to buy flowers.

She wanted to keep her hand in his but it was only making her blush further so she pulled it slightly from his but not so far that it left his. her fingertips were in his palm and she looked up at him. the expression on hr face seemed as tough she was scared which she terribly was. she didnt want to lose pat but she was feeling an urge...

"That sounds good to me." Nicole said with a smile and kissed him on the lips lightly. "I look forward to it." She said grinning at Tallan. Nicole moved slightly closer to Tal and she grinned at him.

Tallan grinned in response and returned his arm to where it had been, around Nicole's shoulder. "What's your favorite place in Hogsmeade?" he asked. He would take her there, wherever it was.

Patrick laughed, but glanced down as he felt her hand begin to leave his, but he relaxed as she left her cool fingertips in his palm. He smiled, taking the last few steps to the table and sitting down, pulling her to sit in front him (each one of his legs was draped over a different side of the bench). He smiled at her again, this time becoming sort of unable to look away from her eyes.

"I'm not sure, Hogs Head or Honeydukes maybe." She said with a shrug, as long as she was with Tallan she would be perfectly happy. Tallan's arm was warm around her shoulder and she looked at him a happy expression on her face. "Hey, do you want to get a bite to eat?" She asked him, she liked sitting there and being so close but she was getting pretty hungry.

Derec nodded. "That's what I thought!"he said, sighing exhasperratly. He had to hold somemore laughter as she started to stutter. He had always found that funny. On some people, he probably would have teased them, but since it was her, that was another story...Derec laughed, then grabed his neck and pretended to be chocking. He fell out of his chair, then poped back up and in his chair. He frowned. "Now she tells me that! Why! If I had known that before, I would have taken it off then!"he said, sighing. He nodded. "Ya, at least, I guess so, but apparently your the expert on the art of tie's."he said, grinning. He watched as she went to fix it, but then she looked at him first, and he smiled back, his heart doing a race in his chest.

The Hogs Head? That was interesting...but whatever she wanted, right?? Tallan was going to say something, when his stomache gave an embarrassing rumble as she asked if he wanted something to eat, as if on cue.

"I guess that's a yeah," he said with a laugh. With a sigh, he took his arm off Nicole's shoulder and stood up. He bent down to offer his hand to his girlfriend, grinning crookedly.

Nicole smiled at Tallan and put her hand in his as she stood up, "okay. Lets go." She said grinning and started walking with Tal towards the castle but she smiled sideways at him.

Nessy looked at him as she took a seat and smiled at him pursing her lips together. She placed her free hand on the space of bench in between the pair of them and agjusted herself to face him. "Stop staring at me." She chuckled nervously.
