This was the night of the eclipse. The rare time that all light would be blocked out and only dark remained. Ironically this was also the night of the final battle between the Light and the Dark. Vampires, werewolves, wizards and witches lay over the battle field, in front of Hogwarts. Casualties were high on both sides and only one side was declared the winner.

The Cullen’s, a vampire family, surrounded a lifeless body, crying in despair over one body. The werewolves were howling at the loss of the moon and crying with grief as their leader and one other lay in front of them, never to phase into a human or wolf again. Witches and wizards looked after their own dead, uncovering faces under Deatheater masks, and discovering a betrayal by one they thought was their own.

Which side had prevailed? Who in the Cullen family died? Which members of the La Push pack died too? Who was the one that betrayed them all and had revealed the secrets to the Dark Lord?

Currently, the trio are in their last year of Hogwarts. They’re determined to finish off Voldemort once and for all but they know they need help especially in the numbers department. And Remus Lupin had just the solution for them. A pack of werewolves from someplace in Washington called La Push. They had also forced a small family of vampires to come and join them, even though they were known to be rivals.

The family of vampires consisted of Edward, Bella, Alice and Emmett Cullen, Rosalie and Jasper Hale, and their adoptive parents Carlisle and Esme. No one knew them for what they were. The students just figured that they were a bunch of quiet, pale gorgeous student transfers into the 7th year and some new teachers. Carlisle was to help Madame Pomfrey in the Hospital Wing and Esme was to be the substitute Care of Magical Creatures Professor. They didn’t seem suspicious at all.

The werewolves consist of Sam Uley, Jacob Black, Leah and Seth Clearwater, Quil and Embry and a few others. They were also another mysterious group of 7th years to the students of Hogwarts, who, if paid attention too closely, walked around with a black band around one of their ankles.

Vampires, especially Bella must control themselves around the mass of students and the fact that someone might accidently spot them hunting in the Forbidden Forest. The werewolves must watch their temper, in case they phase in class. And they must all learn to live together under close quarters and fight through the battle together. Can they do it? And will Jacob be able to stand Bella being a vampire?

*note: The trio and the professors will find out about the Cullens and the pack’s identity.

Narrowing his eyes eyes at the back of the male vampire, trying hard not to look at Rosalie and shaking all the 'Bella' thoughts from his head, Jacob spotted the Clearwaters. "Scoot over" He groaned, with a frown on his face to Seth, before plopping himself beside him.

Stupid, Pointless Arithmancy homework...

"And there's Jacob." Rosalie said to Jasper. "Let's go now please? All these smells are going to make me faint." She said wrinkling her nose again. Nodding to Jacob, she turned so she didn't have to face them.

Making eye contact with the boy Jasper, whom she had been staring at quite intently, Serena flushed. It wasn't often that she was caught staring at other boys. Normally it was the other way around, but now with Rosalie in her house, most of Serena's previous attention from others now was directed to Rosalie instead. Giving the boy a small smile, so she wouldn't seem rude, she forced herself to look away, hearing low murmurs that she couldnt catch from the two.

'What's got your tail bent out of shape?' Leah asked as Jacob sat next to Seth, taking in his frown. 'Stay up late last night doing stupid, annoying work, like the rest of us?' she asked, pushing her light brown hair off her shoulder. 'Or were you too busy thinking about that little backstabbing vampire girl, Bella?'

She knew Jacob didn't like talking about Bella, but she couldn't help it. That was in her personality at times when she was crabby, tired and annoyed - like she had been since coming to this school.

She swallowed and squeezed his hand. 'Shall we?' she asked, opening the door.

Rosalie took the books from him with a thanks and crammed them into her book bag, without a care for the damage of her textbooks. "She probably is. In the brave and noble house." She said mockingly in good humor. "I can't believe we were placed in Slytherin." She said with distaste. "Sly and cunning? Us?" She asked him, laughing.

At the mention of Emmett, she walked over to the exit quickly, still trying to look like she was walking at human speed.

The moment Leah mentioned the name, her name, Jacob felt as if someone had stabbed him, right in the middle of his chest. He could stand the pain he felt, when thinking about her. But hearing her name... That was an entire different situation "Thinking about Sam lately?" He asked dryly, deciding not to answer to her question.

Leah's eyes narrowed dangerously and she fought to keep her emotions in check as she felt the anger build in her. 'At least Sam didn't leave me for one of my mortal enemies, like your dear Bella did.' She smirked at him as she stood up in one fluid movement, grabbing her bag. 'Seth, I'm going to get some breakfast. Join me in a bit.'

She glared at Jacob before stalking out of the common room, her hands shaking slightly as she made her way to the Great Hall, sliding into a seat at the Slytherin table.

Embry watched Leah leave. "Hey, Lee, wait up," he said, running after her. "You didn't see me?" he said, sliding in her house table in front of her. He didn't care much. "What's up?" he asked, knocking on the wooden table absently. Normally he wouldn't be talking to Leah like this, but he hadn't made Slytherin house and she was the first of the pack he'd seen in a day.

Edward smiled, closing the door and going to her, straddling her so that he was on top of her. "Me too," he said, kissing her softly. He looked at his watch momentarily. "Nights here, from now on?" he asked, his golden eyes gleaming from the firelight.

Lelouch walked down the stairs to the Gryffindor Common room, he felt uncomfortable in the Hogwarts uniform and kept adjusting his tie every few steps.
He had spend the night training like always but seeing as there was a curfew and he could not just walk out the front door he had to jump out the window if he wanted to go outside, that wasn't much of a problem for him seeing he was a vampire but climbing back up took a while including the time he needed to wait till he could sneak back into the Gryffindor tower with beeing seen.

He stopped suddenly when he was almost at the bottom of the stairs when he heard someone walking behind him.

It seemed to be that Potter kid, he was in the same room as his but Lulu hadn't really had the chance to speak with him yet, though he wasn't really interested in socializing a lot.

"Goodmorning."Harry said when he noticed a roommate of his standing in front of him, they boy gave him a small salute back and they both walked down the stairs before they continued their conversation.
"So what've you been up to tonight, I noticed your bed was empty in the middle of the night."

Lelouch was startled by this unexpacted question but Harry smiled and said.
"Don't worry, I was just joking, I've had my own reasons to sneak out at night and you have your own I'm sure."
Harry extended a hand to taller boy and introduced himself.
"I'm Harry and if you need some help with finding ways to sneak out, you can ask me."He laughed slightly."I'm sort of an expert on that area here."

"Lelouch Lamperouge, nice to meet you."Lulu said as he accepted the hand and briefly shook it."Thanks, I might pick you up on that offer sometime."

The two boys talked for a bit and entered the common room, when Harry noticed Hermione sitting there he walked over to her and gestured to Lelouch to follow him.
"Goodmorning Hermione, I'd like you to meed someone."

Lulu made a small bow and then introduced himself oncemore.
"Lelouch Lamperouge, It's a pleasure to meet you."

Alice coughed as that horrible stench hit her. She looked up and over to the slytherin table to see two of those werewolves sitting there. Brilliant She thought as she tore her gaze away. At least she knew know that the slytherins were up, so Jasper may be down soon.

Leah looked up at Embry in surprise as he sat across from her. 'Nothing,' she replied abruptly, looking away so her eyes didn't betray any emotion. 'Just thinking about something.' She sighed and rubbed her neck with one hand, before pausing. 'Oh, when you see Jacob, do me a favour?' She looked back, a mischevious twinkle appearing in her eyes. 'Mention Bella and that bloodsucker to him.'

Bella kissed him back for a moment, before watching him as they stopped. She nodded, wrapping her arms around his neck. 'Definitely,' she whispered, looking into the pools of liquid gold. 'I'll be here every night, if it means I get to spend the night with you.'

Jacob had to admit that he had gone a little to far with that comment. But hey, Leah deserved it. She was the one that had brought Bella up after all. However, the little regret that he was starting to feel for the words he'd said, turn into anger and a deep pain "Yes, that's right" He said taking a deep breath to calm himself down "He left you for your cousin, which is ten times worst" Jacob scoffed, no longer caring if his words could hurt Leah's feelings or not. Stupid Leah, she had no idea what she was talking about.

Or maybe, she did...

Edward sighed, kissing her neck softly. "I do love you too much," he whispered at her ear. "I wish we could spend every minute here. But we can't. As much as I hate to, we've got to go to class soon," he added, not moving from his neck-position.

'Correction: I only do it Jacob.' Leah's smile was sickly sweet and sarcastic as she replied. 'Anyway, he deserves it. He's not the Saint you all seem to think he is, Embry. Believe it or not, Jacob has a bad side he often shows. A dark side, and it's just waiting to come out.' She leant backwards, knowing some of her words were false, but unable to stop them. What use would Flying be for vampires?' She rolled her eyes, feeling slightly flustered at Edward's kisses on her neck. He had that effect on her, the same effect he'd had since they first started dating.

"I know," Edward said simply, sighing against her skin. It smelt so sweet, so good. A ever-present burning sensation rose at his throat, wanting him to bite her. But he pushed it away, being careful with her with everything he did. His watch dinged, and he ignored it for a few minutes, still kissing her neck. "Alright, we need to go. You need to eat," he said, getting up.

"Harry!" Hermione said, pleased that he was finally awake and in the common room. Her stomach had been growling for quite some time now and it was getting rather embarassing. Seeing Harry's new friend, she flushed, as he introduced himself to her.

"Hermione Granger." She smiled at him, introducing herself. "It's nice to meet you." She noticed that he was also pale and also new to Hogwarts. What is with all the new people? She asked herself yet again.

'Excuse me?' Leah looked at Embry, her eyebrows raised. 'I do have a life, thank you. I don't torture Sam and Jacob all the time. I admit, I do sometimes, but I know not to spend all the time doing it.'

She glared at him, her appetite suddenly gone. 'If Seth asks, tell him I couldn't stand to be around you,' she said as she stood up, grabbing her bag again before stalking out of the hall.

Bella moaned as he moved, but forced herself up to. 'I'd much rather stay here than eat,' she complained, but stood up nonetheless, taking hold of his hand. 'I really don't like wasting time eating and sleeping. It's annoying. I'd much rather spend my entire life with you.'

Bella looked at him out of the corner of her eyes as he led her out. 'I'll be as eager as I wish to be,' she told him, turning her head to him as she closed the door behind them. 'You can't stop me being so eager, can you?' she asked, smirking.

Biting her lip, she hurriedly changed and quickly walked out of the girls dormitory. She wanted a chance to read over her cousin, Draco Malfoy's, essay to see if their theories were the same. Almost tripping as she went down the stairs, she looked around the common room to find him not there. Instead she spotted four of the new transfers. Not knowing any of them, she chose an abandoned armchair, close to Leah Clearwater and her younger brother Seth, to wait for Draco.

Stepping dramatically into the Slytherin common room, Draco looked around, content with nodding his head only at those he deemed worthy of it. His gaze falling on the blonde sitting in the armchair, looking tired, Draco allowed himself a rare grin. It always was rather good seeing Serena. She was one of the few he could stand, and didn't associate themselves with him just for his social status, or wealth. Avoiding the calls and greetings of various others, he stepped behind the armchair, reaching out and tapping Serena's shoulder. 'Hey you,' Draco murmured, a smirk gracing his features.

'Please tell me you weren't worrying about your homework just like the rest of the fools in here?' he groaned, grimacing.

'Hey Jake,' Seth greeted, one corner of his mouth lifted in a friendly grin. Seeing his face, he paused. 'What's up? More tension about various homework?' Seth asked, unimpressed. He'd expected better from Jake, really. The only person he knew even more carefree than him was Jacob. Was he really the only who couldn't care less at the moment?

She knew Jacob didn't like talking about Bella, but she couldn't help it. That was in her personality at times when she was crabby, tired and annoyed - like she had been since coming to this school.

Wincing slightly at Leah's audacity, Seth turned to her, his eyes signalling desperately to her to drop the subject at hand. While Leah was the uptight, crabby one, Seth was always laid back, preferring to discuss matters calmly and with a cool head.

'Yeah Leah,' He replied meekly, 'I'll be there in a bit.' Waiting for his sister to be out of earshot, he rounded on Jacob. 'Did you seriously have to bring Sam up? Would it really have killed you to be quiet for once, and not infuriate Leah?' Seth ground out, 'Now it's going to be me who has to deal with her at breakfast. Thanks alot mate, you've really made my day.'

Moving out of the armchair, tension lining every muscle in his body, Seth moved to the Slytherin table, just in time to see Leah storming off. Seeing Embry, he bit out, 'What happened to her now?'

Hearing a familiar voice and feeling a tap on her shoulder, Serena looked at her best friend, glad to have someone to talk to, so she wouldnt get caught staring at that Jasper Hale again. "Hey." She greeted warmly, standing up. "Care to go eat with me?" She asked him, picking up her bag from the floor and slinging it onto her shoulder.

Edward shook his head. "No," he laughed, squeezing her hand. "But I can try."

Embry smiled lightly at Seth. "Oh, she brought up Jacob and Bella. I had to set her straight and she got mad."

'Try all you like, it's not going to work.' Bella stuck her chin out defiantly, looking straight again again. 'Anyway, trying will get you nowhere on this particular path. I promise you.' She looked back at him and kissed his cheek quickly, before looking back at where she was going. She didn't want to trip and fall.

'Yeah, breakfast sounds about good right now. I'm starving.' Draco agreed, waiting for Serena to get to her feet. Linking an arm around hers gracefully, a rare feat he allowed only with her, he lead her to the Slytherin table, barely acknowledging the others. Helping himself to some rolls, Draco sat down, gesturing for Serena to do the same next to him. 'How's you day been so far then?' He enquired, buttering his toast with the usual marmalade.

"No" Jacob replied, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. Really, he worrying about some stupid pointless homework "I didn't even do homework back at home, Seth. Needless to say, that I'm not planning to do it here" He really didn't care about Arithmancy, Divination or whatever other insane subject they were supposed to study in this school.

Jake rolled his eyes at him, and took a deep breath before replying "Did she seriously had to bring up Bella?" Something sharp fell on his stomach, the moment he mntioned her name "Would it really have killed her to be quiet for once, and not infuriate me? How do you think I feel everytime someone says her name, Seth? Do you think I feel happy? Well, guess what, I don't" And with that, Jacob walked out of the common room, and headed to the Slytherin table to have some breakfast, completely ignoring Leah not caring if she was still mad or not.
