Back again. I don’t understand why people get so excited about going back to school. Ok I guess when you’re a first year it’s exciting but after you have been at the same school with the same teachers and people for the past five years it loses its touch. So here I am, once again, on the Hogwarts express.
I was quite content sitting in my chair and looking out the window while my friends played some muggle game called ‘Truth or Dare’. Once I heard the rules I automatically said I wasn’t taking part because I knew nothing good could come from it. Although about twenty minutes after they had started to play my best friend Alice convinced me to join in for one game.
“Ok Hayley, it’s your turn, Truth or Dare?” Lauren asked me. I didn’t really like her. She always had to be the best at everything and was a stuck up snob but she was cousins with Alice so we couldn’t really kick her out of the group but her being here means that Jessica and Nikki, her followers as me and Alice call them, are also here. So it’s really just me and Alice who liked each other and the other three hated us back, who knows why they hang around with us but we just can’t seem to get rid of them.
“Oh come on do I seriously have to do this?” I looked at Alice, who glared at me and told me to pick one or she would hit me. You can never say no to Alice.
“Fine, I’ll do it, Truth.” To be honest I knew the question before she even asked it. She always asked me about him.
“Xavier Smith.” was all she said.
“You do know that’s not a question, right?” I said, getting annoyed at myself because the minute his name is mentioned I blushed. Ever since I started to date other guy’s people have started to think I had finally gotten over Xavier but I haven’t the only person that knows this is Alice but Lauren will never stop asking me about him.
“Ok, remember you have to tell the truth.” I nodded and she continued. “Would you be mad at me if I asked Xavier if he wanted to date me?” I instantly froze. Come on Hayley, play it cool.
“Why would I be angry? It isn’t like I like him anymore.” I couldn’t get my mouth to stop and before I knew it I was telling her:
“You know what? I’ll get you guy’s together.” Ok I’ve gone mad.
“Oh Hayley, that would be great! Can you go ask what he thinks about me?”
“What, right now?” I asked in shock.
“Yes. Go!” Then she pushed me out of the compartment and into the corridor in the train. I can’t believe I was about to ask the boy I was practical in love with what he thought about another girl.
I stopped outside the compartment he was in with his friends. I took a deep breath and walked in.
Hayley has been in love with Xavier since she first laid eyes on him but now that Lauren like him she worries that they will never be together because Lauren always gets what she wants.
But what they don’t know is that Lauren is slipping Xavier a love potion
Hayley is in her 5th year along with Lauren, Alice, Jessica and Nikki. Xavier and his friends are in 6th

Sammii ignored him when he said that. That's what most people said before they started becoming an alcoholic. Then he gave Holli his trademark stare and she rolled her eyes, resuming her cake eating. He was being sooo weird right now. And it was stupid. Pout. She took a bite of her cake then caught Lauren's look at Xavior. Eh... weird lady, stalker?
Lauren continued to look at Xavior, he really was so cute. Oh no... he was using that stare... and it wasn't on her!! She pouted in a way she thought was cute. Grr... why did Holli and Sammii get all the attention from him?! Why didn't she get attention from him?! That was what she deserved. Not those two losers!

'I'm really scared but I'm sure we can all manage.' Nikki had been panicing all Summer. If anybody found out they would think she was a wimp. She probably wasn't the only one though.
The dormitory was filled with more heavy breathing, meaning Jessie had fallen asleep. Nik closed her eyes and musu have drifted off.

Jessie turned away from Nikki, all her tiredness from the train took over her and she shut her eyes, letting the blackness swallow her
She was walking through the school, hand in hand with....well who was it she looked to the mystery boy but she couldn't click who he was, he lead her around the school and down to the potions lab, locking the door behind her and pushing her into a chair, he bolted her in before taking off the veil that covered his face...Xavier, he turned to the bubbling potion and took some into a spoon "I know everything, and you know nothing" He said, threateninly, shoving the mixture towards her
ARGHH! She screamed, sitting up in a cold sweat, breathing heavily, just a dream, just a dream she said, flopping back down and shutting her eyes...

Jessie sat up, she looked to the sunlit window and saw the light it was bathing over the girls in the dorm, she pushed the duvet off her legs and stood up, pushing her feet into her fluffy puppy slippers and pulled on her dressing gown which was hanging off her bed, she walked over to the window, the girls dormitory was the only room that had windows, everywhere else was under the lake and so they felt no need to put windows in. She sat on the ledge and waited for Nikki to wake up so they could go to the bathroom and plan what they would do

Hayley woke up from a bad nights sleep. She had maybe gotten about three hours sleep because she couldn't stop think about how Xavier was eventually going to start dating Lauren. I was eneviatable, Lauren always got what she wanted. She got up and walked over to Alice's bed and opened the drapes.
"Alice. Alice get up." She said. Her voice strained from cry. She caught a glipse of herself in the mirror over Alice's bed. She looked horrible her eyes were red and puffy and she looked so tiered it would be obvious to anyone who looked at her that she had been up half the night crying. She just hoped no one would ask why.

When she left there common room however she decided she wouldn't go to breakfast straight away. Walking through random corridors was a think Hayley loved to do,it helped get he mind of of certains things. Or a certain boy should she say. A boy she would never have. Life sucks she thought
