(Similar to my Fan Fic Watching in Silence but with different Characters and a slightly different plot line

Back again. I don’t understand why people get so excited about going back to school. Ok I guess when you’re a first year it’s exciting but after you have been at the same school with the same teachers and people for the past five years it loses its touch. So here I am, once again, on the Hogwarts express.
I was quite content sitting in my chair and looking out the window while my friends played some muggle game called ‘Truth or Dare’. Once I heard the rules I automatically said I wasn’t taking part because I knew nothing good could come from it. Although about twenty minutes after they had started to play my best friend Alice convinced me to join in for one game.
“Ok Hayley, it’s your turn, Truth or Dare?” Lauren asked me. I didn’t really like her. She always had to be the best at everything and was a stuck up snob but she was cousins with Alice so we couldn’t really kick her out of the group but her being here means that Jessica and Nikki, her followers as me and Alice call them, are also here. So it’s really just me and Alice who liked each other and the other three hated us back, who knows why they hang around with us but we just can’t seem to get rid of them.
“Oh come on do I seriously have to do this?” I looked at Alice, who glared at me and told me to pick one or she would hit me. You can never say no to Alice.
“Fine, I’ll do it, Truth.” To be honest I knew the question before she even asked it. She always asked me about him.
“Xavier Smith.” was all she said.
“You do know that’s not a question, right?” I said, getting annoyed at myself because the minute his name is mentioned I blushed. Ever since I started to date other guy’s people have started to think I had finally gotten over Xavier but I haven’t the only person that knows this is Alice but Lauren will never stop asking me about him.
“Ok, remember you have to tell the truth.” I nodded and she continued. “Would you be mad at me if I asked Xavier if he wanted to date me?” I instantly froze. Come on Hayley, play it cool.
“Why would I be angry? It isn’t like I like him anymore.” I couldn’t get my mouth to stop and before I knew it I was telling her:
“You know what? I’ll get you guy’s together.” Ok I’ve gone mad.
“Oh Hayley, that would be great! Can you go ask what he thinks about me?”
“What, right now?” I asked in shock.
“Yes. Go!” Then she pushed me out of the compartment and into the corridor in the train. I can’t believe I was about to ask the boy I was practical in love with what he thought about another girl.
I stopped outside the compartment he was in with his friends. I took a deep breath and walked in.
Hayley has been in love with Xavier since she first laid eyes on him but now that Lauren like him she worries that they will never be together because Lauren always gets what she wants.

But what they don’t know is that Lauren is slipping Xavier a love potion

Hayley is in her 5th year along with Lauren, Alice, Jessica and Nikki. Xavier and his friends are in 6th

Hayley is down to earth and smart. She has a good heart and thinks of other peoples happiness before her own. She is in love with Xavier and her only real friend is Alice.

Alex looked at Maddox. "Xavier Smith? Normal? That would take like, forever to get him back to normality. He takes the female attention to his head too much and forgets about reality" he replied. Harsh but extremely true. Did Xavier even know what reality looked like or was the female attention reality to him?

Jessie laughed and sat next to Maddox, well you've got one follower at least, she grinned, but finding others might be a little more difficult, I mean Lauren is infatuated and he's just popular, but good luck to you, I'll definatley join the brigade she wasn't exactly a friend, more an acquaintence but, close enough to find him an annoying little turd she agreed with the other one, his name had completley escaped her, Alex was it? He is far too big headed and needs to be taken down a knot of two

Maddox thought of his reality. He was just a kid, one who stood on the sidelines, watching life go on, as people didn't include him in much. Then Xavier's life was so fake, yet he enjoyed it, all those girls draping all over him... If He had that much attention he'd take it for a while, but never would he forget about his own true friends and their feelings... Thinking that his face may look weird, staring off into space, he shook his head and returned to the conversation.

Alexander giggled. "Yeah, I doubt we'll find anyone else to help us get him back. And Lauren must be pretty annoying to you. Being totally infatuated is so not a good thing" he replied. Xavier's world was so not real. Way out of reality's reach.

You have noooo idea she groaned, even she was surprised how many conversations Lauren could have about him, his hair, his eyes, his smell..! she's mad about him, and she's not the only one, but I'm sure, like me, Nikki isn't that much into him, I just find him an annoying turd personally, but she likes him a bit she told them, Nikki was a bit wet, she would join the anti-Xavier group with a bit of persuastion

"You haven't ruled out the love potion have you? Maybe that's why Lauren is infatuated with him... Anyway's at least we got a small group going on. Any Xavier talk and Dumbledore's the word, haha...We can't let him know, obviously ."

Absolutley not, I wouldn't put it past either of them, she liked this kid, he was different not like the others who were already falling at stupid Xaviers feet, she laughed, new term on "mum" she grinned, already imagining setting up a "down with Xavier" group

Alexander smirked. "Yeah, Xavier isn't exactly the most important guy in the school. There's nothing special about him. He's just a normal guy who's got caught up in popularity" he replied. It was so annoying that people were fallin at his feet and in undying love with him. "Operation get Xavier back is a go" he said.

At least they hadn't fallen for Xavier, grant it they were guys but still they weren't falling for whatever trap Xavier was playing at, all was well, well counting Xavier out

"Room of Requirement it is. The Spirit room is like way to creepy" replied Alex. The Spirit room being creepy. Yeah, it was but it was a place to hold meetings but the room of requirement was way more better.

It's on the seventh floor, find us and we'll tell you how to get there she grinned at him, wondering where he'd be sorted to, he could make a Slytherin, or a Ravenclaw or even a Gryfindor, not a Hufflepuff, he was far to smart and cunning and brave for them

It's ok, we've all gone through it, she wasn't normally this nice to first years, but a new year a new leaf perhaps? um, Alex when can you do, the only day I can't do is thursday, quiditch tryouts, although she'd got on the team last year, would she have to re-try?, she'd have to ask the captain

Then he looked at Jessie. "I can do every day but Thurday. Hopefully I'll make the team again" he replied. Ah, they had another thing in common.

Alice had watched her best friend leave, leave her with these MONSTERS! She merely glared at them, everyone knew she hated Lauren's guts, well everyone besides Lauren. Alice could glare at Lauren all day and think of all the things she hated about her but she choose a different option, so she could pretend she wasn't listening if Lauren tried to talk to her. She pulled out her favorite book, even though she had read it about 30 times, The Series of Unfortunate Events: The Bad Beginning by Lemony Snicket.

" Needing to get away from Xavier doesn't really require me to focus much, so it's just perfect for me, you see, I don't have the brightest brain, more like a cunning brain." He told them at large. "My brain can't hold in much information..."

Jessie nodded, cunning is what we need, anyway, it's just the case of finding something to distract you from Xavier she grinned, he's annoying but you know, there's always something you can content yourself with, for me it's quiditch and music, for Lauren it's potions, hey! she thought, what about a potion, to like reverse any of the effects the love potion has she was a fairly good potion brewer, not as good as Lauren, but nearly

"That could be the beginning of our plan... Why won't we work something up, those fumes will get Lauren thinking differently about Xavier... Then, there is always the effect it makes people do. Sing like a squeaky duck, dance like a chicken- Don't tell Lauren this, but that would be quite entertaining. You don't say, can we do this, is it possible for you, Jessie, to look up some type of potion?This is perfect." Maddox said, jumping out of his seat and doing a short 5 second victory dance
