Back again. I don’t understand why people get so excited about going back to school. Ok I guess when you’re a first year it’s exciting but after you have been at the same school with the same teachers and people for the past five years it loses its touch. So here I am, once again, on the Hogwarts express.
I was quite content sitting in my chair and looking out the window while my friends played some muggle game called ‘Truth or Dare’. Once I heard the rules I automatically said I wasn’t taking part because I knew nothing good could come from it. Although about twenty minutes after they had started to play my best friend Alice convinced me to join in for one game.
“Ok Hayley, it’s your turn, Truth or Dare?” Lauren asked me. I didn’t really like her. She always had to be the best at everything and was a stuck up snob but she was cousins with Alice so we couldn’t really kick her out of the group but her being here means that Jessica and Nikki, her followers as me and Alice call them, are also here. So it’s really just me and Alice who liked each other and the other three hated us back, who knows why they hang around with us but we just can’t seem to get rid of them.
“Oh come on do I seriously have to do this?” I looked at Alice, who glared at me and told me to pick one or she would hit me. You can never say no to Alice.
“Fine, I’ll do it, Truth.” To be honest I knew the question before she even asked it. She always asked me about him.
“Xavier Smith.” was all she said.
“You do know that’s not a question, right?” I said, getting annoyed at myself because the minute his name is mentioned I blushed. Ever since I started to date other guy’s people have started to think I had finally gotten over Xavier but I haven’t the only person that knows this is Alice but Lauren will never stop asking me about him.
“Ok, remember you have to tell the truth.” I nodded and she continued. “Would you be mad at me if I asked Xavier if he wanted to date me?” I instantly froze. Come on Hayley, play it cool.
“Why would I be angry? It isn’t like I like him anymore.” I couldn’t get my mouth to stop and before I knew it I was telling her:
“You know what? I’ll get you guy’s together.” Ok I’ve gone mad.
“Oh Hayley, that would be great! Can you go ask what he thinks about me?”
“What, right now?” I asked in shock.
“Yes. Go!” Then she pushed me out of the compartment and into the corridor in the train. I can’t believe I was about to ask the boy I was practical in love with what he thought about another girl.
I stopped outside the compartment he was in with his friends. I took a deep breath and walked in.
Hayley has been in love with Xavier since she first laid eyes on him but now that Lauren like him she worries that they will never be together because Lauren always gets what she wants.
But what they don’t know is that Lauren is slipping Xavier a love potion
Hayley is in her 5th year along with Lauren, Alice, Jessica and Nikki. Xavier and his friends are in 6th

'Oh yeah, we need supplies too. This sure is one big list of thigs we have to do for one boy.' Nikki giggled a bit at this, the thought of all this sneaking aroud just for Xavier. The headmaster told us all to go to bed and everybody stood to leave the Great Hall.

Um Professor, it's just, well could we use the potions lab out of lessons, she said quickly and confidently to the smiling professor, because, well we want to create a potion, using the books from the liabary and it might take quiet a while-I mean you let us last year, she finished up as the professor held up a hand

Annie smiled to herself, those girls, she thought, she wouldn't ask, but Jessie and Nikki were both good girls so she was sure they wouldn't go too far wrong with the potion, I'll see you in potions girls she called, before leaving through the door
Jessie turned to Nikki, sorted she grinned at her, come on lets go to the common room she said, turning to the door and walking towards it and waited by the huge doors for Nikki

Sammii pouted. She didn't like being lost! Especially in Hogwarts. Maybe next time she shouldn't go running around like crazy. She walked around feeling a bit scared. It seemed so dark, all they needed to do was cue that scary music from the movies and it was set. Then she realized she was alone and that terrified her more than the fact that she was lost. She hated being alone. Sammii was trembling a bit now, she felt tears prickle her eyes but she wasn't going to cry. Because big girls didn't cry.

Hayley waited until Sammii had reached Xavier before she walked away and head down a random corridor, she had not been told the pasword so she decided she would wonder about until she met someone who could tell her. She also couldn't bare to be anywhere near Lauren because of the way she was looking at Xavier and that fact the he was all she ever talked about, even thought she didn't know him as well has Hayley did but she guessed that wouldn't matter because Xavier would never like her in more than a friendly way which made her eyes water. Xavior smiled at how hard Sammii was trying to get him back to normal. "Really, I'm actually not that hungry. You eat the cake." He pushed it towards her as Holli sat down. "Hopefully not." He grinned and took a swig of fire whiskey that he had sneaked into his goblet from his secret stash back home. He paused for a moment to let the fiery sensation pass down his throat, then took another swig.
