A few years back, there was a very sucessful PR called Hogwarts is Still High School. It spawned an entirely new site, which is still running, but was for more mature content that was unwelcome here. But I felt the need to resurrect this beloved RP, but bring a new spin on it... And if you were part of the origional, please, please rejoin. We all need a reunion, because it has been too long.

Hogwarts Is Still Highschool...

Relationships, love, and lies. Homework, classes, and professors. It's all part of a regular highschool, is it not? But look around, isn't it all the same here at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry? I do believe it is.

We all grow, and learn many things from school. Be it how to lie to get out of a late assignment, or how to attract the pretty girl in your potions class. And thats where our story begins...

This RP takes place long after the famous trio has left the school. Years infact. Their children are still here, 6th years infact. But new faces have appeared. The Tuck twins out of Wales have been known to be the musical masterminds, and resident heartbreakers. And Jay Kelley, Quidditch fanatic spends his days on the pitch, getting ready for his next match.

You're a regular student, and a not so regular school. And you go about your not totally regular day, doing completely irregular things. Get up, go to breakfast, go to class, chase the guy or girl of your dreams... and be a teenager. After all, this is still highschool.

Any personaly created character is welcome, just attatch a profile for them. And for the cannons, a picture will do, just to see how you feel the character should look. For the non-cannon, a brief profile of their name, age, house, looks, likes, dislikes, and a picture will be enough. But feel free to go indepth.

Annabelle hadn't really made an effort. Sure, she'd been told she was on the list, but she didn't really believe it. Those girls Jay was hanging around with hadn't been extremely nice to her, and well she didn't really trust it. But, she decided to give it a go anyway.

Making her way to the party, she stopped at the front. The house elf took her name, then told her to wait. She groaned.

" Excuse me a minute." he said smiling at the girl. before he followed the elf towards the enterance. he sighed someone was trying to crash it already. merlin by the feel of it he might as well perch himself near the door to play bouncer it wasn't like he could find his date among this crowd of masked teenagers. when he reached the door he saw his sister " Annabelle, what are you doing here?" he asked.

Jay decided to play it off. " invited.. everyone knew it's for 5th and up Anna." Knowing full well she knew he wasnt the type to take meesing with her lightly he narrowed his eyes. " Who gave you this invite?" He asked protectively. " It was Malfoy wasn't it. Anna I swear when I find him I'm gonna.. "

Alyss watched Meg walk toward the guy they only assumed was Jay. Shaking her head, she silently laughed to herself. It would be like Jay to dress like that. Keeping an eye on the door for a moment, she gave her reflection one last look and turned to face the room.

People were slowly trickling in and all looked like it was going well. She slowly made her rounds and settled back near the refreshment table. They really did out do themselves with everything and the night had just begun. Reaching for a glass of punch, she turned back to observe all the party guests. A small part of her wanted to know who everyone really was, but where was the fun in that? It was more entertaining not knowing who you were really talking with.

Sipping at the punch in her cup, she continued to watch those around her and those on the dance floor.

Annabelle crossed her arms. Yeah... riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. Then he started on about Scorpius. "Uh huh. Go and find him in this lot then. Go on. Why don't you just hit EVERYONE on your way. That'll make you feel better right?" Seriously, he was a shnoob sometimes. "You know what. Don't worry. I'm going."

Annabelle stopped. Scorp had known? How embarrassing! She turned to face Jay. "Oh, and that's supposed to mean something to me why?" she asked, her face impassive.

Anna shrugged, trying to keep up the uninterested look on her face. "You want snappy, I'll give you snappy, brother. Now, I'll go, and leave you to enjoy your little party. Didn't really wanna go anyway." She gave him a sickly sweet smile. "I'm sure I'm keeping you from one of your girls. If you can find them..."

Annabelle heard her brother's little snip and sighed. Setting her jaw, she walked back down to the Slytherin Common Room, really glad she hadn't bothered with making an effort.

Speaking of cousins... she looked around for Al and Victorie. Where were they? And why wasn't Victorie giggling nearby and Al waiting to punch this guy? Maybe the evening really was going to be perfect.

Kyle laughed softly to himself. It wasn't every day that a girl agreed to dance with him. Nine times out of ten, they were looking for Matt. For once, maybe Meg and Alyss had a good idea. Masks and costumes disguised the regualr features of the boys. And both had the same body structure. Hmm, this night might go in his favour after all, assuming Scorpious didn't show up and ruin his fun.

"So tell me something about yourself." Rose said as they continued to sway to the beat. That was the only downside to this 'costume party' thing. She didn't actually know who she was dancing with. She wondered if he could tell her anything without revealing who he was. She did know it was a Slytherin... and maybe knowing that was bad enough.

Meg took the traditional stance and followed him gracefully along the floor. She hadn't danced like this ever with someone her own age. It was only at her daddy's parties that people danced like this. She actually liked it.

Meg thought for a moment. Sure, she danced with people a lot. But they were hardly strangers. It was either with Jay, her dad, or her daddy's business partners at his parties. And she knew all of those people. "I would have to say it was your lucky day. As well as mine. I've never danced like this with anyone my own age. Very refined. I like it."

Parker felt like he was slipping back into his awkward phase, he needed to get out. "Do you want ter go out ter the balcony with me?" he finally asked. "Might be nice to get some fresh air?" Though he was worried that he might get a little cold, after all he didn't have a shirt on.

Meg couldn't help but laugh. "There is this guy. He's completely full of himself. We have dated before. Many times. None of the times since the first have been worth it though. He's just one of those guys that can't keep to just one girl. And I really just stopped caring about him. I guess we're still friends... if you could call it that. I dunno. I guess I've grown accustomed to guys just being like that..." she laughed nervously. How would this guy respond to that? He would probably be able to figure out that it was her. After all, how many other people have had a on and off 'relationship' with anyone for pretty much forever. "What about you? Do you have a lovely lady you'd much rather be spending this beautiful evening with?" Because if you do, she's lucky.

SCorpius didn't care for the glamour charms meg had insisted upon he hadn't been able to walk with Anna to the dance thanks to her pain of a brother breathing down his neck so he had no idea what she was wearing. he sighed and walked over to the drink table he spotted a girl in a red and white dress " are you waiting for someone?" Scorpius asked.

Jay walked back into the party and looked about the room he made his way back towards the refreashmnet table but the girl he had been about to talk to before they were interrupted seemed to be in another conversation. He smiled slightly when he noticed someone else (aly) sipping from a punch cup. "Some party huh?" he said sfixing himself some punch

Alyss' eyes danced from couple to couple on the dance floor. Everyone did seem to be having a great time, especially Meg and her mystery man. She would definitely have to get the dirt on that later. Hearing someone beside her, she set her cup down and turned toward the voice. "Yeah, it's actually quite entertaining." she replied with a single shoulder shrug. "Well so far, but the night is young."

"I haven't found a suitable partner as of yet," Alyss replied. She wouldn't just dance with anyone, she did still have her standards even if no one knew who she really was. Raising her cup back to her lips, she smirked. "Any reason, why you aren't dancing?"
