"For saying those hard words and acting weird..." Melinda said, desperately. She hugged him tight enough.

Chris gave Melinda a kiss on the cheek. "It's alright." Chris told her.

Melinda smiled back and sighed. She felt so much better. Those words were confusing, funny...but confusing.

Chris smiled. He was still hugging Melinda. "Again I am very very sorry." He whispered to her.

"You don't have to be sorry about anything, that was a little rushing, yes...but it is normal...we've known each other for a whole year..." Melinda said, kind of smiling.

"Yeah I guess your right, but the way you reacted I thought you were going to hate me." Chris told her.

"Look, I reacted that way...because the only person that has ever told me that...was my mum...like 14 years ago the last time..." Melinda said, now getting sad. "I never would hate you...and you know that ..." She said, getting a little soft.

Chris put his hand on her cheek. "I know." He said about both things. Then he kissed her lips lightly.

Melinda kissed Chris back. She was so happy to be with him.

"Well, we could go to Madam Puddifoots," he suggested, blushing as he spoke. That place was notorious for couples, but what better place to go on a first date? "I mean, that's a good place, right?" he asked, hoping she would want to go there as much as he did.

Whoa. He had JUST been thinking that. He grinned at her and leaned back, propping himself up on the back of his forearms. "Puh-LEASE, I know you thought I was cute," he said, running a hand through his hair. "Remember what your mum said? Actually, I believe I said you were cute too," he added with a wink. Ahh. He was getting better at this flirting thing.

Jason finds out no one cares for him anymore. No one found his shoe that dropped and no one really cared about "Wild Thing's" He was better off in his castle or who knows where.

Just thinking about being at Madam Puddifoots with Cale made Anna blush. "Madam Puddifoots sounds awesome. I'd love to go there," she replied, smiling and still blushing out of shyness. No matter how outgoing she usually was, when it came to Cale Newell, Anna found that just about everything that usually happened was thrown out the window, replaced with blushes, giggles, and smiles.

Anna watched as Cale leaned back and propped himself up on his forearms. He looked really cute propped up like that. Speaking of cute, he had to go and bring up that embarrassing moment from Diagon Alley. "Yeah, so my mum did kind of...sort of...tell all that day!" she said, laughing. "And just when I thought my mother was safe with a secret! I can't believe she did that to me! I literally wanted to melt into the ground and disappear."

"I was so mean to you, though!" she continued, shaking her head. "I'm lucky you even talk to me now-a-days!"

Jason flew by the Manor again. Why is he tortuting himself? Jason was just hoping he had a family member or one friend left in the world to help him. Tears flow from Jason's eyes. Jason hopes on hope someone will finally talk to him.

"Yeah, you were kind of mean to me," Cale said with a chuckle. "I bet I know what happened. You were just SO enchanted by my good looks you forgot all your manners and thought that you were somehow flirting with me by callling me an egomaniac," he joked. This was so much better now. The awkwardness was slowly but surely melting away.

He chuckled again and sat up a bit. "Or maybe I'm just so fly you couldn't take your eyes off me," he added, making a peace sign with his hands and then kind of tilting them to the side and puckering up his lips, like the way he had seen a lot of muggle's pose before. They seemed to think this was cool. Although, now that he was actually doing it, he was sure he looked like a loony. He totally FELT like one, that was for sure.

Jason looks for Jamie all around the Black Manor. He hears a song from Freddy Fender being sung by one of the guests "Before The Next Teardrop Falls. How appropo Jason thinks to himself.

Jamie walked back into the manor after her walk. Something was not right. She went looking for Jason.

Jason comes down. "Jamie, Jamie, where are you?" Jason calls out from the back.

"Jason, I am here in the hall." Jamie called back to him.

Jason parked his broom. Jason ran into the hall and kissed her over and over. "I missed you so much" Jason told her " I did not know where you were or if you had left and my family nor my freinds helped me find you or make me feel better" jason told Jamie. 'I had flown between here and the castle a few times and I finally found you" Jason told her
" I am disapointed in my friends and family for not helping when I care so much what is happening to them" Jason told her." If something had happened to Nelinda or Chris or whomever, I would have been there to comfort them" Jason told her "I know we are all couples here or mostly couples here but when someone is in need of some understanding, I think couples should take a backseat like we do" Jason told her. "You are always there for everyone,too" Jason tells Jamie. "This is why I admire you and love you" Jason told her "Do you think i am wrong to be a slight bit upset" jason asked Jamie. He kissed her. He felt so comfortable in her arms.

"Oh, come on, Newell," Anna said, smiling and joking around with him. "You had your mean moments, too, you know. Although, I guess you were only doing that because I was being so mean. I've come a long way, though," Anna explained. "In so many ways, you helped me overcome that little dramatic attitude I had. You were the first person to ever stand up to me and not back down. Sometimes I think I don't deserve for you to be nice to me," she admitted.

"And, to be honest, I was a little enchanted by your good looks. I really did go straight to my mum's shop and tell her that Emma has a really cute cousin," she explained, blushing all over again. "Sorry about the egomaniac thing, too, by the way."

That was when Cale decided to strike some muggle pose Anna had only seen in magazines before. She tried to hold in her laughter. Really, she did. It worked for about three seconds, then she couldn't hold it in any longer. She burst into a fit of giggles, changing the serious mood she'd been in to a very silly mood. Cale looked so cute when he did that! It was that side of him that she loved the best. It just made him seem like this lovable teddy bear. She'd never tell him that, though. He may very well cancel the date if she did.

So nice to have Jamie back since his family and friends do not want to talk to him. Jason still wonders aloud" what did I do wrong?" Jason knows he wil get an answer or more than likely ignored by everyone but Jamie. This party started out as fun for him but it is turning into a drag now.

Jamie kissed Jason back. "It is ok. Calm down please. I am fine as you can tell. I needed to get out. It was getting a little over crowded. I am sorry that I did not say anything to you." She said. Jamie knew she should have said something to Jason.

" Please tell me next time, I was a nervous wreck" Jason told Jamie."At least my family or friends could have told me" Jason told her. " I always try to help them out but I guess all these lovebirds did not want to acknowkedge me just like you and I are ghosts to all of them now and my family and friends know who I am talking about and I am very upset with them" Jason told Jamie.

"I am sorry. Please calm down." Jamie said.

"I am trying to calm down" Jason told Jamie. " Believe me, I am way calmer now that you are here Jamie" Jason told her. He hugged her. " I just am very upset with the situation and the lack of respect I get from family and friends" Jason told Jamie.
