Samantha yawned, quickly covering her mouth to muffle the sound. It was quite late and most of the rest of the students were fast asleep, except one boy with headphones. She craned her neck over the seat and caught a glimpse of a book. Ah, so he can't sleep either she thought with a smile.

She glanced down onto her own book. Since she was a little girl, she had always dreamed of going to Egypt. Reading every book on Egypt that she could ever get her hands on, she had quite a bit of knowledge about the place. This particular book was about the process of mummification and the underworld. She continued reading, fascinated by how Osiris weighed the soul on a scale to determine if they were telling the truth about their sins.

Christian has been looking at a wall for probably 20 mintes... HE must have looked stupid. He had been thinking about the whole trip, about the whole story they were going to live.

Egipt had always been an imposible thing to him... He had always wanted to go but had never been able to. His parents had bought him about ten books about different aspects of egipt but he had not read them yet... at least not all of them. He knew the basics about egipt but he was no expert.

Christian turned and looked around... Some asleep, some awake. It was probably late, very late. He hoped the sun came out soon. He really wanted to get to egypt... He really wanted his first trip outside of his city to be amazing.

Lori groaned as she heard someone speaking. She roled over to one side, then back to the other, apparently irritated. She looked up from her seat and saw the reading person beside her. She glared angrily at him and said a bit loudly, "Do you mind? Some of us are trying to sleep here!"

She rolled over to another side, and tried to ignore his voice.

Roslyn had been drifting in and out of sleep all through the flight. She hated to fly as she always felt sick. It also didn't help that someone was reading, outloud. She sat up in her seat to see who it was. She saw a guy in the seat in front of her with his headphones on. Roslyn poked him in his shoulder.

"Hey, do you mind keeping it down? Some people are trying to sleep." She told him looking at the other students.

Roslyn sat back down in her seat and her thoughts turned to Egypt. She loved all of the history and myths that surrounded the Gods. She really hoped that they would all discover something, but she knew it was impossible. How could a group of students find anything new, when archeologists had been digging around for hundreds of years?

Personality: Teresa is a very loyal friend. She has a red-head behaviour sometimes, since she can get really angry when someone or something bothers her. She is really scared of falling in love but she is very romantic. She can get over-excited when something happens or is going to happen, like a book release that she has been waiting for a long time or something like that. Jaeke blinked, as he lifted his eyes from the book. He still couldn't hear a word anyone was saying, but he DID feel that poke. He turned around, coming face to face with the girl behind him [ Roslyn ] then, looking thoughtful, he turned off his music, so the jet suddenly went quiet. He stared at her for a moment, his face expressionless, before threatening, "If you touch me again, I'll rip that pretty arm off of yours and throw it in a tomb."

He twisted around again, slumping in his seat. Sheesh. He also heard what Lori said, and Alina, then made a face at Lori. "Do you mind? Some of us don't want a whiney high-pitched voice like yours to rattle their thoughts," he mocked her, then flicked his gaze to Alina, then scowled. "Can't any of you speak for yourselves? Honestly.. it's 'be quiet' this, 'be quiet' that. Now don't YOU start telling me what to do," he warned Alina, then placed his headphones back on and pressed the 'play' button, so some loud music in a different language blared out.

Teresa stared out of the window lost in her thoughts. She had always loved to fly specially if she could feel the wind on her face. But now she couldn't feel it but she didn't care much, it was a different and yet interesting experience. Unlikely to most of the other students she was completly awake, actually she had always loved to be awake all night long and sleep in the morning. She had always felt admiration to ther other cultures and religions. And Egypt had exactly what she wanted, in terms of knowledge that is since she really loved her country more than any other and she didn't want to leave her home. Actually it had been quite hard for her to decide either to go to that land far from home and learn new stuff or stay at home with her mum, dad, godparents and friends. Thanks to her parents she actually gave up on staying home and left.

She started hearing a guy's voice speaking aloud but she didn't mind. She was used to noise and a little more didn't bother her that much. After the other girls who seemed to be also speaking got silent she looked at what the guy (Jaeke) was reading. She shook her head a little when she noticed that it was about Egypt. She had read quite a few books herself but not many of them.

She decided to listen to a little music and perhaps also read a little. She took of her back her iPod that one of her grandparents had gave her for her birthday (they were muggles) and started listening to a calm music, R'n'B. Then she took a book about a Celtic girl that she had been reading since the night before.

"Well, excuse me." Roslyn muttered under her breath. All she had done was poke him, did it really need the threats? She felt angry that this boy thought that he could just bark orders and threats at people he didn't even know. She instantly disliked him, and couldn't help but think about things she could do to him later.

Ryan sighed and muttered something in Italian as he heard them bickering amongst themselves. He shook his head, and went back to reading the book he had. He was sat alone, so as not to be bothered, and he put his feet up on the empty seat ahead of him.

Seth opened one eye to peer at the people making the noise, they were all going to be together for a quite a while, working together and being in close proximity, he thought they could have at least tried to get along before having an all out war. He sat up and stretched his aching limbs, he didn't like planes. He wasn't scared or anything he just didn't like not being able to move around or be outdoors. With a sigh he finished the rest of his drink and sat twiddling his thumbs. He was looking forward to Egypt, it should be interesting, and although Seth had never exactly been an academic student it was definitely a very interesting prospect. The Ancient Egyptians had some of the most amazing ideas about most things in life and he had always wondered what they thought of sports. It was his aim to see if anything except work and worship exsisted for them. He smiled to himself as he looked around the plane, the group of people he was with didn't seem too bad. He grabbed his mp3, stuck the headphones in and put on Red Hot Chili Peppers greatest hits, to Seth there was no better way to make the time go by.

Roslyn was about to fall asleep when she heard music coming from behind her. She could faintly hear Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and so she sat up to see who it was. She saw a guy and decided to say hello. Ros stood up and 'accidently' kicked the seat in front of her - the guy (Jaeke) in front wasn't going to forget about her. She walked down the aisle, and sat down in the empty seat.

"Hi, I'm Roslyn, Ros for short. And you are...?" She asked, looking at the brown-haired guy in front of her.

Seth looked up when someone sat down opposite him. He took and his earphones and smiled.

"Hey, I'm Seth." He told her with a smile as the plane floated along. "Ugh! I hate flying, it's so enclosed!!" He exclaimed dramatically, before winking cheekily.

"Tell me about it! Why we couldn't have travelled by Portkey I never know. At least we would be there already." Ros replied with a grin. She stretched to look out of the window, checking for any signs of Egypt. She slumped back down and looked at Seth.

"So, how did you get picked for this trip?"

Jaeke lurched forward from the kick - overly-dramatic - then threw his book down with the pages of the heiroglyphics open, and some notes of it translated, then knocked the headphones off his head so they were still blaring, but they were around his neck. He tucked his player in his pocket, then narrowed his eyes as he flicked his gaze to the new person who didn't make any noise [ Ryan ] to another girl with a book [ Teresa ], and then to Samantha and Christian, as if daring them to tell him off.

He walked down the small aisle before stopping and resting his elbow on the back of a seat and staring down at Roslyn. "What's your problem?" He demanded, bluntly, raising an eyebrow. "First you poke me, then you tell me off, and then you kick my seat. What'd I do to you?" He paused, waiting her answer. Honestly. What DID he do to her?

Jaeke stopped, then turned his head a bit, so he could look at Alina. He stared at her a second longer, before shrugging. "Okay. Do you want me to do something about it?" He asked, rather sarcastically, before glaring at Roslyn again and trudging back down the aisle.

He stopped by Alina, then glanced down at the book she was reading. "You understand that?" He blurted out, staring down at it.

Lori had a good mind to hit the boy beside her [ Jaeke ], but decided against it. She wasn't the fighting type, just the retorting type. "Well, I never!" she said to him. She then heard what he said to Allie and snorted a bit.
"You don't understand what she's reading? Oh puh-lease! That is so basic!" she said, finally finding a contradiction to his rudeness.

Studying almost all the languages, new and old, throughout your life seemed to be an advantage to her at this point. At least she could be of help to translating heiroglyphics, and other languages.

Roslyn sat silent while Jaeke glared at her. She turned back to Seth.

"Excuse me, I'll be back in a minute." She said before heading back down the aisle towards Jaeke.

"You want to know what you've done? Well, apart from disturb most of the people on this plane, and then when I ask you to stopped reading outloud, you go and threaten me! Wouldn't you be slightly angry about that?" Ros answered back.

Teresa shook her head and took of her headphones. She got up and faced everyone else. 'Do you guys mind if I interrupt your... er... how can I put this? Stupid discussion?' She asked them with a face that she only wore when she thought people were acting stupidly and she had to do something about it. Without waiting for an answer she kept on talking after she looked into everyone's eyes. 'In case you haven't noticed we are going to work together and if you start labelling yourselves or only saying that kind of stuff than everyone will get out of here with an 'F' and I certainly do not want that' She finished and sat back on her seat.

She put the headphones on her ears again and returned to her book. As she read she whispered some of the things that surprised her in her home language, Portuguese.

Seth looked up at the others and smiled as one of the girls [Teresa] spoke, now that is exactly what he was feeling...maybe not the F part but the rest of it.

"Here, here!" He called out. "We're never going to get anything done if we don't work well together. And who knows what bad stuff could happen if we don't communicate, has no-one ever watched any of those old movies?"

"Fine, I agree, this argument is stupid. I'm sorry about poking you, and I guess kicking you seat. Start again?" Roslyn said to Jaeke, agreeing with Seth and Teresa. She really didn't want to fail this course. Her parents would kill her if she did.

Teresa didn't have the music too loud so she heard exactly what they had said. She smiled and sighed happily. She looked at the others. 'Great. Let's start again, shall we?' She asked them smiling. 'I'm Teresa but you guys can call me Tess or whatever you want'

"Hi Tess, I'm Roslyn, but everyone calls me Roz. So, are you Portuguese? I heard you mutter something just now." Roslyn replied smiling.
