John looked towards the door and suddenly dropped, this guy seemed to be more bouncy than him and considering John seemed to be one of the bounciest and happiest people on the planet that was saying something because he always seemed to be sporting a wide smile and was always nice. So walking towards whom he thought was another employee he said "Welcome to Magical Transportation, Im John"

Jayden chuckled. "Oh, I'm sure. I bet all those Hogwarts kids are eager to see the new brooms out this summer." he said. He, himself, was eager to take a peek inside the Quidditch shop. He could use a new broom.

He looked disappointed. Ah-ha! It was a date. Cringe. That was not Laura's area of expertise. She was glad he had backtracked. How could she best explain to him that she didn't decline because she didn't like him? Gosh, she didn't know him at all in the first place well enough to know. Uhm, maybe she had acted out of hastiness. All she could do was put on a weak smile. "Don't let yourself get caught napping," she said, sort of out of joking. But really, she didn't want anyone getting into trouble. Not with the new department head in the same room.

A happy voice filled the room and Laura turned from where she was talking with John to see the man walk in. Ahh, he was the same man who was visiting Armen's office at the same time she was. She approached him with a bright smile. He seemed just as cheerful as the man he replaced as Portkey division head.

"Good morning, yourself," she said. "Mr. Nathaniel Callingham, I presume? Welcome to the department."

Laura grinned. "Oh, I'm sure they are," she said. "That makes it even more likely for illegal broomstick activities to occur." Ugh. Sightings and other nonsense was hard business sometimes. It left plenty of paperwork for her and her employees.

Jayden chuckled. "Well just imagine being part of The Improper Use of Magic during the summer time." he said. "I'd much rather test students and deal with the occasional splinching... which really the Accidental Magic Reversal Squad have the hard job of undoing - I just have to document it... than deal with underage magic." He could only imagine how many cases those poor ministry workers had to deal with.

Andrew was more than delighted to finally get to work and meet who he would be working with. He tried to wear a suit to work, but every time he put one on, he would break out in hives. It simply wasn't his style. He instead wore a t-shirt, with an orange button-up shirt, a tan vest, one of his favorite black jackets (which the pockets were filled to the brim with pouches of floo powder and other odds and ends) and slacks. And of course he had to complete the look with one of his handmade top hats. He felt completely satisfied with the way he looked.

Andrew's plan to walk in all serious and come of as stern as possible, but the next thing he knew he had a song stuck in his head and began singing it as he walked in the door, "Moses supposes 'is toeses are Roses, But Moses supposes Erroneously, For Moses 'e knowses 'is toeses ain't roses, As Moses supposes 'is toeses to be!" Then he continued to whistle the happy little tune. As he went over to an empty desk, he assumed to be his with the floo powder dust all over it. Next thing he knew his whistling turned into a tapping of the foot, then that tapping led him to dancing, then that dancing led him all over the office, even on top of the desks! He just couldn't get that tune out of his head! When the song came to and end (in his head at least), he took a seat at his desk and then propped up his feet, then pulled out a Daily Prophet from his jacket pocket.

Laura nodded. "Ah, good point, Jayden," she said. "We don't have to do the hands-on work." She paused in thought. "But paperwork is still very tedious." No one could tell her otherwise. It was a good thing she liked transportation.

Laura's attention turned toward yet another newcomer she didn't recognize. Oh, wait. She did recognize him. She had thought he was some wizard looking to establish his fireplace in the Floo network when she saw him outside Armen's office. But he seemed to have ventured into their workplace, and that could only mean one thing. He was a replacement for either Ingrid or Theron.

Laura walked over to greet him with a handshake. "Welcome sir. How very... poetic," she said, taking in the strange words to the tune he was singing. Hmm. "I'm Laura Miller, division head of Broom Regulatory."

Nathan grinned broadly. "Thank-you! It's a pleasure to work here." He nodded at the introduction, "I'm Nathaniel.. But if you please, call me Nate," The man replied brightly. He was really looking forward to working here. All the pluggies and muffle Knicks knacks!

Nathan turn at the pleasant voice of a woman. "Ahaah! Miss Laura wasn't it?" He was pretty good with names. Sticking out his hand fir her to shake, he smiled, "Yes, yes it is." She was actually not half bad at names herself, she seemed to remember him. "Thank-you, I'm absolutely thrilled to be working here!"

Nathan spotted Lucas! Waving at him brightly, he smiled at the man and grinned. He was looking forward to working in this department. "Goodmorning, sir!"

Oooh, look. A new person! Liliana made her way over and smiled happily. She loved meeting new people!
'Hello!' she said cheerily 'I'm Liliana Bones, welcome to the Transportation Department!'

(OCC: Lets just play it like Ingrid has up and left due to some emergency. She will not be coming back. Instead Armen has hired Miss oh so charming Scarlett.)

Scarlett was totally fuming. The security people had directed her in the wrong direction. She had ended up on LEVEL TWO! It was totally outrageous didn't people know their way around this place? The guy who ran it was quite peculiar since he seemed to think that reading was a good way to spend his works hours. Shaking her dark head vigoruosly she stumped into level 6. Her pink dress fluttering around her legs. Scarlett thrust open the door to the work area spluttering out in a high pitched voice "This is Magical Transportation right?" Just to make sure that everyone and I mean EVERYONE would take notice of her entering the office she bashed her bowl of candy in the floor making the bowl crash into a thousand pieces and candy fly all over the place. Several pieces hit the head of man talking about Moses and Roses. Scarlett then thumped her handbag down on the nearest desk and then waited for someone to greet her.

"Indeed it is. But simply 'Laura' will do," Laura said, nodding. He'd remembered her name from the brief episode in Armen's office too. Impressive. She shook his hand. "Oh, good. You seem to like the division you're in. Have you had experience with Portkeys before?" she asked, brow knitted.

Great pink Scott! Laura's eye caught another stranger making quite a noisy entrance, and this time it was a woman. She walked over to her slowly and cautiously and replied, "Yes, this is Transportation." She paused to scrutinize her. Ingrid's... replacement? "Who are you?"

Jayden chuckled and started going through his work pile. Another splinching? They really needed to test people more often. Making a mental note to look up their information he prepared himself for another normal day.

Or... not. Was this Ingrid's replacement? And he hoped it wasn't. She seemed... err... easily irritated. At least her loud disturbance brought candy flying in his direction. Catching a piece he popped it in his mouth and waited for the woman to answer Laura's question.

Nathan offered an apologetic smile, "Laura it is then. Call me Nate.. it seems everyone here is so casual might as well go with the erm.. flow of it!" The young man did like a lua motion with his hands to punctuate the word. Young 'uns these days! Proprietry was out the window.

The young man nodded enthusiastically, "Oh yes! I've worked in Magical Transportation for six years! Three of which I was the Deputy Head to this department. Blimey, it's a splendid wrap! You have so much fun getting to turn muggle junk into magical treasure!" Yeah.. paperclips and old boots were absolute treasures.

His attention turned as a woman entered the room. He watched her with a curious face as she screeched and screamed. When the lollies dropped, he jumped alittle and his eyebrows rose as he turned to look at Laura. "That the new Department head?" He hadn't known Ingrid for very long but people had mentioned her and her.. weird and hasty departure. Totally oblivous of her irritation, he approached her and stuck out his hand, "This most definetely is Magical Transportation, Madam. I'm Nathaniel Callingham. A pleasure!"

Joshua entered the workspace for the first time. He was nervous about his new job and was anxious to get going. However he wasn't exactly sure what he would be doing, as he was a new employee. Josh spotted his desk and strode over to it, dropping his bag beside it. "Good morning, everyone!", he said, his sparkly blue eyes glancing over his fellow colleagues.

Liliana turned to greet the new employee, and blushed furiously when she realised it was the man she'd walked into in Diagon Alley.
'Morning' she said quietly, going over to her desk - next to his, just to further her embarassment. Great.

While there had been a lull in the arrival of his employees, Armen had snuck back into his new office to finished settling in. He had been promoted a few days ago and was till meeting new people, granted a few of them were replacing others who had left recently.

After he finished pollishing his staute that Laura had given him, talked to a few employees in his office, and popped a chocolate frog into his mouth Armen walked out of his office to see the newly forming group of witches and wizards arriving to the office. Many more were already seated at their desks, working and fiddling with their knick-knacks.

"Good morning everyone, everyone feeling up and ready to work today?!" he said nodding each one as he looked at them in turn, new and old. This bright and happy smile held no implication of what was about to take place.

OCC: Level Six mini-plot is about to start!

On the desk of John Milloy, waiting patiently still, are four figurines. Each one represents a Hogwarts House in the shape of it's mascot. They were brought in and instantly found strange by the other employees, they had even seemed as if they had moved on rare occasions (mostly out of the corner of your eye, as if they thought you weren't looking). What was their deal?

The raven figurine cocked its head to the side slightly. 'This was the sign, they had talked about it last night.' The Lion said that when the annoying boss guy came in that they would release their plan. The Raven hated that man, he had been suspicous ever since the figurine had to bite his nosey hand trying to reach in a bag and touch him.

With the wink from the 'sleeping' lion, all four of them began to move to the edge of the desk. The lion puffed its chest and made the call, "RAWWWWRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The snake slithered off the desk the badger hopping along after it, the Eagle took flight over the idiot wizards' heads, and the lion was ready to pounce.


OCC: Remember 'animals' are figurines, not life size. Do not rp for them, you may post trying to stop them, fighting back, or cowering in fear; the figurines will react.

John was still sitting at his desk , he was sort of sulking, maybe it was because of how much of a fool he made himself look after asking her out or maybe it was just because he was a fool, either way he was not in the best of moods so looking to his desk he went to see if his figurines would cheer him up.

Looking at the raven, John noticed it cocking its head to the side which was soon followed by a roar from the lion. John was genuinly scared and as he tried to push himself back from the animals that were now going on the floor he went flying back in his chair straight onto the floor "OUCH" He shouted as he struggled to get up.

Jayden turned his head to the side and looked around for the source of the 'Rawr'ing. Spotting some small figurines he was surprised to see the chaos was coming from them.

Soon all the animals were going crazy. Jayden had the serious urge to step on the snake if it slithered by. But he decided he wouldn't. He didn't want to break anyone's little 'toy'.

Then the eagle was soaring about. He ducked his head slightly. "Hey John. You alright?" he asked to his coworker who had disappeared from view. He threw one of his arms over his head to protect it and cautiously peered around for the attacking figurines.

Hmm. They were ridiculously casual in Level 6. Shrrrug. Laura smiled and nodded. "And Nate it is then," she said, giggling at his luau motion. Interesting way to 'talk with you hands.'

"Good morning to you too!" Laura called enthusiastically. New employee? She didn't get a memo, so he must have been in one of the other divisions.

"Mornin', Armen!" Laura replied as the boss man entered. Ooh, chocolate frogs.

Before Laura even had the time to ask Armen if she could have one of the chocolate frogs on his desk, there was a... RAWR? She whirled around in search of the source of the noise and her eyes settled on some colorful moving things.

GAH!! John's figurines were moving about? What!?

Startled at the sudden sight of the snake slithering on the floor (it was small, but still menacing!) Laura hopped back as farrr as she could out of instinct and whipped out her wand. Was there a spell for stopping animal figurines? Would it hurt if the snake bit her? The thought briefly crossed her mind. Not helping!

John gave up trying to get up for a second, decided to breath , and think logically for a second. After a few seconds of avid thinking a voice shouted over to check if he was ok. "I suppose" He replied as he held onto the table and pulled himself into a standing position, Just in time for the eagle to come straight at him so jumping out of the way of its path he fell straight onto Laura. "This just isnt my day" he sighed.

"Yes. I'm in the Broom Regulatory Division", Josh answered. Looking around for the noise that had suddenly erupted in the room. What on earth is that noise?", he yelled looking around. He saw the figurines and was suprised that such noise could come out of such a small object.

Royce was wiping her nose as she was still sick and this new workload was going to make her weary, but she was up for it. She leaned against her desk and waited for their new work assignments.

She wasn't expecting what happened next and it took her a minute to register what actually happened. Those little figurines moved! She yelped and jumped back as the lion roared at her. "Oh merlin!" she backed away as the snake slithered past her foot.

Nathan had been talking to Laura when his attention was caught by a rather odd looking figurine. Well, it wasn't so much that it was odd - but the fact that it had now started to move. It was a little Lion, a snake, a badger and a Eagle.. and Nathan could've sworn it moved.

Good lord!

And there it was again!?

What was going on!!

The man gave a yelp as the Lion - a tiny little thing - gave a RAWRRRR as loud as the room and looked about ready to pounce off the desk. He heard something hiss and saw the little Snake figurine slither towards him. Wait a MINUTE!!

He'd thought they were cute ickle muggle play toys but now this Snakey was hissing and snapping at him.

Nathan pulled out his wand and mumbled, Stupefy! in fright... but the spell missed the Snake's tail by less than an inch. Clicking his fingers together in disappointment, he cast again - ALMOST getting it.

The man eyed it curiously. "Come here Snakey!Snake!" Nate cooed half perplexed and half interested in the little figurine that was now snapping at his ankles. "Come on Snakey! I won't hurt you.." At that precise moment. Beside him, John had fallen onto Laura and Nathan frowned, bending down to help his fellow division head up.

Carefully eyeing John he frowned, "Your figurines then lad? What in Lord's name are they doing with a life of their own?" Pwuggies and other muggle items didn't all of a sudden start pouncing around and biting things.

"OW!" Nate cried, as the Snake finally got a good grab on his ankle. He stared in disbelief as a 10 cm snake started throttling his pant. It hadn't pierced the skin - thankgod, but it was BITING!
"Naughty snake!" Nathan admonished and pulled both Laura and John to their feet. The man, straightened his plaid green bow tie and snapped his suspenders.

"I believe.. we have a problem."

Pierre was nodding to what Armen had said. He was ready to work, but not one hundred percent ready. He was a bit lazy at times which made it hard for him to focus on work at times. But not today. He was going to give his work the full attention today.

All of a sudden, the figurine's that were on some man's desk started to move. Pierre ducked as the Raven flew over his head. What is going on?! He watched as the other figurines started to move around the room. He tried to avoid every single one of them as best he could.

Ahhh, now Armen was here. Big boss guy. Hehehehehe. Meh, Lucas thought he was an awesome boss and not like one of those big bosses. He was a cool one. Yes, weird enough.

With a side glance at Pierre. No one really saw did they? No one ever did.

Shifty-shifty.

He also wondered exactly what Nathan would do if he saw him do that. But he wasn't going to find to because he wasn't going to get caught plus he was going to try and work harder. He did need to work harder anyway.

WOAH.

He did just hear a rawrr or some sort?

In here? He didn't remember that this was a zoo.

That was odd. He turned his head around to where the sound was and great. It was John's little....figurines. They were moving! Although they were small they looked like they were coming after like everyone. That was nice huh. Maybe John should stop bring stuff like that. Yeah, could WORK!!!

EEEEEEEEPPP!!

The figurines were crazy!! Really crazy. He ducked, yeah ducked because a eagle was going after them!! He was tall too. Well not that tall but tall. Erm, what to do what to do. Oh where was his wand. He knew he had brought it today. Well he normally did, in case something happened. Like NOW!! He checked his pockets for his wand. Oh it had to be there somewhere because if he had lost it he would have no idea what he was going to do! Well stay calm was one thing. He was going do to that.

Alas! He found his wand, finally otherwise he would of been doomed. But wait, what spells could he used again these figurines. Errrrrr...

"What is happening in here?!?!" He asked glancing around him all the time. Yeah he had to ask. He hoped he wouldn't get attacked by anything because of that. YELP! Plus he didn't want anyone else hurt. That would be bad.
