Hehe, now Armen was laughing too, and that was good. Well for Lucas anyway. "Ahh, well I really didn't realize that your office was in a broom cupboard," he said chuckling. Anyway he would of probably find it, somehow if Armen did send him to a broom cupboard, thankfully he didn't.

"Yeah I worked at another one after I left Hogwarts for 5 years, I worked at the American one," he had to travel a lot each day, mostly by portkey. Which was kinda weird considering that he worked in the Portkey Office. Very weird. But he was used to them so it did help him in his job. "You haven't?" Hmm, so it was a man then.

WHAT. O___O

Nathan was his Division Head. Seriously. Well he did want to get out of the Mysteries, it looked like he succeeded and...became his Division Head. That was cool. Shocking though, very shocking. He did like the bloke as well. Nate would like it here though. "Actually it's Nathaniel Callingham," he said, correcting Armen. Wow. Natey as his boss, well small boss but still. "I know him," he nodded. He wondered when Nathan was going to be here, he wasn't there right now. Perhaps as soon as he spoke to Armen he would be here. Lucas also needed to congratulate him.

She wanted to giggle when he stepped back. He didn't want to get sick, and she understood that. She as feeling pretty low she had never had the flue before and it was murder on her system. She would nip over to St. Mungos during lunch and pick up a potion. "Thank you Armen," she told him with a nod of her head.

If she wouldn't have gotten him sick she would have hugged Armen, but she caught herself from doing that. "Oh that's great Armen. You deserve it." she said honestly. She would have to take a rain check on that hug.

Pierre smiled at his new boss. He was excited to learn that Armen was also from France. Pierre didn't even consider that. "It's great to meet someone else from France. I moved her because my father got a job here. I went to Hogwarts for my seventh year only." He did really like that school. He just didn't get to make many friends. Pierre chuckled slightly just because it seemed like the right thing to do.

"It's great, but sometimes I miss the small part of France that I came from." Pierre missed that little village he used to live in.

Laura felt her face flush. Her? Noticed for her good work? By the boss? Maybe a promotion was coming her way too. Giggle!

She gave him a firm pat on the shoulder. Hug aside, it was time to be professional now. "Can't wait to see how you influence the department," she said, adjusting her glasses. But all kidding aside, Laura didn't think she would ever find a department head who was better at charades than Mr. Trumbull! Hehe.

"Have anything in store for us in the near future?" she asked conversationally. "Hopefully something fun and exciting!" Laura gave him a nudgenudge and a grin. He may be the new department head and all, but he was still the Armen she knew.

Laura glanced up, recognizing the voice of one of her Broom Regulatory employees through that raspy veil. Oh, it was Royce! Boy... she looked like she dragged herself to work today. "Royce!" she greeted, approaching the woman. "Merlin, in your state, I would have stayed home and owled the office!" she said. Too bad the level didn't have a break room anymore, so Laura couldn't run and get some coffee for her. She admired her though, for coming to work anyway.

Nina smiled.
"Well thank you Mr. Recard." she said. "I hope you'll have great ideas for this year." she continued. Seriously, she needed to get used to all of this and so for this to happen she needed work,work, work.

Leighton slid into her cubicle and placed her papers on her desk, the Quidditch magazine slipped on top of the pages. She smiled at the few people she knew, and those she didn't and saw Mr. Recard, the new boss man being congratulated on his new post. Not wanting to interupt, she decided she'd stop by his office and congratulate him there, in all of his new-found glory. Because that was what it was, such an honor to be a Head of Department, Leigh was sure.

Armen continued to laugh about his little joke about pointing Lucas into a broom closet instead of his office. 'That truely would have been funny if it had happened.', Armen thought to himself.

Then the conversation changed suddenly to that of his new Division head, Nathaniel, he had said. This was the person that would taking over his own old job, the Portkey Division. Hopefully he was as good as Lucas was saying right then. "Oh well that's good, he sounds like a good guy if he is friends with you Lucas." the Department Head nodded, most of that took away his worry as to who would be replacing him.

Armen was happy to see that even though she was sick, her friendship could still shine through that facade with a bright smile and a congradualtions. "Thanks so much Royce it means alot to me that you are happy for me!" he grinned, wishing he could just hug her, but he was deadly afraid of germs. *giggle*

So about her sickness. "Royce do you know what you have? Or is it just an under-the-weather feeling? Do you need to go to St. Mungo's?" he asked her with a caring look on his face.
So Pierre went to Hogwats aswell, but only for his seventh year? That was no fun at all, to only expereience one year at Hogwarts would have to have been torture. "So what house were you in?" he asked curiously. Armen was always excited to find out what houses his friends and co-workers were in.

Ahh the small town life, Armen never knew it personally, but he had gone to the country a few times for vaction. "I lived just outside of Paris when we lived in Fance so it was really just a move from one big city to another." he nodded with a smile. "But I guess they suit me."
Armen hd to chuckle slightly at the look of shock and disbelief on Laura's face at his metion of her good work. "Oh come on Laura you are a Division Head you were picked for your hard work." he patted her on the shoulder too.

Anything planned? Well yeah he had been planning a few things already and now he was in a position to let them actually happen. *giggle* He was looking forward to this job ever since he had become a Division Head. "Well of course something fun will be taking place shortly I have a few plans up my sleaves." he winked at her.

Armen nodded towards the second person to speak about what they would be doing. "Oh don't you worry I have a feeling there will be lots of work to get done around here, trust me." he laughed.
Armen grinned politely as another woman walked into the office. Her name was Leighton, Armen knew from working in the Departmen but hadn't really talked to her that much. She seemed like she was just kind of busy at the moment. He could talk to her later. "Good moring Leighton.' he smiled and waved at her regardless.

Jayden whistled as he entered the office. Merlin, there were more people here today than normal. He wondered if there were more people in the department now. If so, hopefully one of these people would be assigned to apparition department. It was a bit busy with just Ingrid and him sometimes. "Morning everyone." he said before taking a seat at his desk.

Well only one thing had changed so it would seem because here John was on his own, again with nobody to, well then again that is a lie because lieing right beside him were the four figurines who appeared to have went to sleep which is completely reasonable because you cant expect them to go bonkers ALL day. So lieing back in his chair John had no idea what to do, so he decided that nothing was indeed the best thing in this case.

Hehe. Okayy. She was a hard worker.

Something FUN!? Laura's eyes lit up. "I'm sure everyone in the department will be excited," she said. She was excited too. Maybe she would have the chance to work closely with Armen again!

Laura looked up and saw Jayden walk in. "Hello, Jayden!" she greeted him cheerfully. "How are you today?"

Seeing her old colleague sitting alone at his desk, Laura walked over and tapped him on the shoulder. "Hey, John!" she said a little loudly, just in case he was asleep. She didn't want Armen to see one of his employees asleep.

"OH God Whosaat?!?!" John said a a bit too loudly as he jumped up from his seat into the arms of...oh god this was not good, he was caught dozing off by one of the division heads, now all he had to do was completely suck up to her so she wouldnt tell Armen that he had fallen asleep. Then again the question was would Armen mind so pulling himself away from her he said "Oh erm ...uh...That wasnt what it looks like, i erm...i was playing hide and seek with the figurines...and i...was counting".

Now he really was toast, that had to be the worst excuse that anyone had ever came up with in the history of the world, scratch that, In the history of Time!.

Pfff!! Laura suppressed her amusement at his reaction. So he was asleep.

"Sorry! Didn't mean to scare you!" she said. He seemed to have begun to ramble off. Huh? Hide and seek?

John barely knew Laura, ok they had been working together for a while but even then they never really...spoke. They had passed each other in the office and in the halls a few times and had probably passed each other in Diagon Alley but until now they had not had a conversation involving, well..Words.

"Scare? Pfft!!" John said stifling a laugh at her accusation. "You never scared me, more like....pleasantly surprised me". Right enough she had scared him, half to death right enough but he wasnt exactly going to admit THAT to her now would he.

Mhm, sure. Laura may not have known him that well, despite having worked with him for some time now, but she had so scared him. She wouldn't say anything, though. Grin.

"Oh, well I'm glad," she said.

Now that they were finally talking John began to notice several diffrent things that most people wouldnt notice, but then again John had a keen eye for detail and right now he was noticing how the lights that were shining overhead onto her flowing blonde hair. If she had any other colour he was almost 100% sure that it would infact not do this which i guess is what attracted John to blondes so much. Even he knew though that she was technically his boss and it wouldnt work out so he stuck it to the back of his mind....for now.

"So..Um..The Weather is ..um nice Today, Isnt it?" He said, But upon saying it he began to question himself because that was one of the most dorky conversation starters ever and it was usually considered to be a "pickup" line used by Muggles.

Eh? Was he talking about the weather with her?

"Usually is," Laura replied. She glanced toward the window for a moment. Of course, it was charmed to always look pretty, but still. Looking back at John, she decided that it was her turn to make small talk. "How's the Portkey division?" she asked, genuinely curious about it. It had been a while since she was a Portkey employee but she was still interested about it.

John couldnt beleive he was talking about the weather to her when they were in a room, underground, with windows charmed to show good weather. Was he wanting her to make an excuse to leave or something? Either way he had to keep her interested in talking to him and she had given him the worst way possible. Sure Portkey was fun but it wasnt exactly an interesting subject.

"Ahh well it has its highpoints" he said adding a mental note, 'like getting to talk to you' "And its lowpoints, How about you? How is Brooms doing? Atleast he was trying to keep her interested in talking to him. It wasnt easy, sure over icecream he could do it but how could you ask your boss to go for some ice cream.

That wasn't very descriptive.

Laura had really enjoyed working in that division. And Armen had been great in helping her transition into the Ministry.

"Brooms? They're okay. Same basic workload." Yup.

Whoa for thinking of himself as good with the girls he was really failing to talk to Laura so he decided to come right out with it , sure she may think he is crazy and may indeed walk away but every guy has a chance so why not John, Then again John had less chance than all of those other guys because he was well how do you call it? Annoying? and at this point in time, Very Very Shy. He wanted to mentally slap himself about with a fish but he had already ran out of them from previous slappings.

"Good Good" He said to her confidently, he decided that growing up and speaking confidently always works better. "Hey Laura?" He started to say "Would you ..um...Like to go get something to eat or something sometime?". Well it could have went worse he could have passed out, which being like 6"0 isnt exactly an appealing thought, considering when you look at his physique he looks pretty tough and well built.

"I'm doing quite brilliantly." Jayden said with a smile. "Just hoping to get all my paperwork done before we're bombarded with Hogwarts students hoping to get their apparition licences." he replied.

"How about yourself?"

Laura nodded. It was "good, good." She loooved brooms. It was one of those dreams kept at the back of a person's minds, but she had always dreamed of herself becoming a professional Quidditch player.

Eat? Huh?

"Oh," she said, not really knowing what to say. She suddenly remembered about her under-construction koi pond back in her garden at home. "I'd rather not spend too much on eating out," she said. Because koi were expensive. Aaand, she would never let him pay for her food. There was also the other matter. That being that they used to work together. WEIRD. But he didn't call it a date. Phew. Ehh. "But, I guess that'd be fine. Name the place."

Oh, Jayden looked to be in a spectacular mood, even though the most swamped up time for the Apparation division was coming up. She smiled back at him cheerily. "Good to hear!" she said. "I'm okay, thanks. Hoping to get some paperwork out of the way too. Summertime's a busy time for the Brooms department as well."

Pierre had a feeling this question was coming. It was something that always came up when you talked about Hogwarts with anyone. "Slytherin. What about you?" He had to admit it interested him too. He always wondered if everyone from a certain house was similar.

Pierre nodded as he listened. "I had an aunt and an uncle that lived in Paris. I visited every now and then. I always enjoyed spending time there." He liked exploring cities. They were so much different than what he was used to.

John suddenly felt very uncomfortable, he knew she never felt comfortable with it, and now he was regreting the fact of him ever bringing up. Infact if he could bring it back he would. "No..No..Its ok" He said trying to cover his tracks "Its ok we dont need to."

Time to meet his employees! Ooh, Nathaniel was excited! He was practically bouncing with happiness. Opening the door to his new office, the man, with a broad smile on his face, moved towards the crowd greeting Armen. He was a nice man and he needed to remember to bring him a present. Laura had done so. It was a bit of an odd tradition but he'd do it all the same.

"Goodmorning, everyone!" He greeted brightly and smiled at them all in turn.

Hehe, Armen was still laughing. To be honest Lucas didn't think it was that funny but oh well at least he got him laughing. That was always good. Plus having a broom closet as a office was a bit strange and not normal. He didn't think anyone in the world had a broom closet as a office.

Friends? They had only met once, Nathan was a bit strange in Lucas's opinion. He was alright but strange. Kinda like a kid though talking about 'finding his pwug' or whatever. It was a plug. He did suspect that Nathaniel was a pureblood and probably had no idea about muggles so he was fascinated about plugs. Still strange though and having him as his small boss was a bit weird. Although Lucas knew that Nathan would do anything to get out of the Mysteries and he did.

Andd here was Nathan. Well this should be fun now. He did look excited, Lucas saw the look on his face; a broad smile in fact. That made him chuckle slightly. He was also glad that Nathaniel managed to get a better job, as his small boss but he was still glad though. It must of being awful working in Level 9, then again he had no clue. Maybe he should ask Asher when he got the time to.

"Nathan! Good morning," he said smiling. He wasn't going to be formal yet. Perhaps Nathan wouldn't be formal all day. Hopefully. 'Cause he'd rather not talk all formal as he was in the 2000s.
