Dom tilted his head to the side, allowing Khloe to play with his hair. He knew she was disappointed it was shorter, but it was so hard to manage long! Too many curls. She wanted to work? "Only if that's what you want to do babe." He wouldn't mind working with her, he'd love it! But he didn't want Khloe to do it just because she was worried they were short of money.

Hearing her say she wanted to spend time with him, Dominic couldn't keep the smile of his face. How could he have gotten so lucky to meet such a fabulous woman? Chuckling slightly, he shrugged, "I perhaps wondered if you didn't have plans to just go with Emily or Vanessa or someone."

"I did alot of things."She said looking at the ground as a small tear rolls down her face.

Khloe kept on playing with his hair and then laid a kiss on his cheek. There was no reason for it,other than him just being all adorable and cute. Squee! She loved her husband, she was so lucky to have Dominic."I just don't want to seem like you have to work and I get to sit around all the time."She said with a nod of her head."Eh...how about no ?"She said, shaking her head. All she wanted to do was stay with her husband and Kaydence. Khloe didn't have many close friends.

Dominic nearly snorted at the idea of Khloe just sitting around. "Love, there's no way your just sitting around. Not when raising that child of ours." Seriously! The kid was a ball of energy! But, she was a cute ball of energy, just like himself and Khloe. Chuckling slightly, Dom resisted the urge to roll his eyes, but then again, he couldn't talk. He hadn't seen of his own friends in forever! 'Alright, then tomorrow, it'll just be the four of us. You, me and baby." Cause, no name was picked out...yet.

Khloe rolled her eyes,"Okay, I watch our kid all day but I am tired half the time Dominic! Being pregnant isn't that fun you know...."Khloe said, with a loud sigh. She always felt tired or sick and she hated it."We still need to pick out name for....it."Khloe said, looking down at her stomach. She was about 5 months along and they had not even dicussed names yet. Guess this showed how busy they were."And Kay...."She added, smiling up at him.

Using his free hand to smooth down Khloe's hair, Dominic sighed sympathetically. "I'm sorry Khlo. I can't even imagine what it's like." Because he was male, it was impossible to be preggers. "And you do watch Kaydence, and you do a fantastic job. But that's what I mean, your certainly not just sitting around all day waiting for me to provide. If anything, I'd say you have the bigger job." And he did want to be more apart of it. Names? This perked Dominic up a little bit, "Alright. How about for a girl...Kaelyn? Or for a boy...Dimitri?" Smiling widely, he gave Khloe a quick kiss, "Good, I can't wait." Yay! Carter family bonding time!

Khloe let out a loud sigh,"Minus the cute things that come along with pregnancy it is awful, especially when the baby starts moving around and like lays on my bladder or kicks me or something."She said with another sigh. Of course, the whole kicking thing was cute but it was still awful."And dont even get me started on morning sickness."She said with a roll of her eyes. A smile then grew on her face as he spoke of her being a good mother."I try my best."She muttered, it was rather hard taking care of a wild child like Kaydence.

Khloe nodded her head as Dominic spoke,"I like the girl name but i am not too fond of Dimitri. It just sounds too...I don't know."she said. It just didn't sound like a name Khloe would want to name her kid."Kody would be cute..."she said, with a tiny wink."It would be with a K of course."

Dominic flinched, he wasn't one who like talking about such things. He was quite the squeamish fellow. "I'm sorry love." another quick kiss to Khloe. "well, your best is just what's needed. Kaydence is growing up wonderfully." And it was thanks to Khloe, with a few minor things thrown in from Dom himself.

Dominic shrugged, "First thing of the top of my head. Heard it at work today." Honestly, he wasn't fond of it either. "Hmm, Kody? With a K?" Was Kody short for something, or was it just...Kody?

Khloe chuckled a tiny bit and then took a sip of her coffee."what's wrong ?"She asked, looking at him with one brow raised. A smile grew on her face as she felt Dominic kiss her,"I hope she is. She is just getting so wild."Khloe said, shaking her head. It worried Khloe sometimes. Kaydence was a good girl, when she wanted to be. She was known to throw temper tantrums. Khloe wasn't sure WHAT she was going to do if this baby ended up like Kaydence. The home would certainly be in worse condition than it already was. This made Khloe flinch, Dominic always freaked out about the house not being somewhat perfect and that annoyed Khloe a lot.

Khloe nodded,"Yes. Kody. Wouldn't it be cute, babe ?"

Dan sat outside the cafe, sipping some tea as he read a newspaper. How boring this was. But he wanted to kill more time, and this seemed like a rather muggle way to do it.

How did these people live like this?

Kenedie had spent a relaxing day shopping for new books at a Muggle bookstore. She ADORED Muggle life. She thought of her TV and iPod at home, thinking about how nice a bubble bath was going to be with some Muggle music in her ears.

She was walking down a street right in front of the Leaky Cauldron when she spotted...of course. Dan.

"Hey, Dan," she said a lot more casually than they had ever greeted each other. After the run-in with Sam at Diagon Alley, she felt a little more confident in their... friendship?

Dan looked up as Kanedie came back over to him. If he didn't know better, he would have thought that she was stalking him or something.

"Hey, Kanedie!" he told her with a smile as he waited to see if she would sit with him or not. It was her choice, and he would let her do what she wanted. He didn't really care all that much, because he was only really concerned about himself, not other people.

Ken noticed two things. One, he had actually smiled at her like he wouldn't mind her sitting down. He didn't look at her like the poor girl that got kidnapped. Maybe more like the cool girl who stood up to his brother? She sat down.

Two...he had called her.. Kanedie?! Hehe, she figured she'd play a little joke on him if that's how he was going to play it.

"Well Den, it's quite a surprise seeing you in Muggle London reading a Muggle newspaper. You kinda struck me as the 'I'm just gonna stay in the Wizarding World' type." She grinned at him, taking a secret pleasure in the fact that they had bumped in for a third time. FATEFATEFATE!

Den?" Where the hell did that one come from?

He raised his brow, but decided not to bother correcting her because he was too bored to care what she called him. And that meant that he was really bored, because normally he got annoyed if people messed up his name like that.

"Trying the Muggle experience," he explained to her simply. "And I don't care for it much." It was very boring.

Before she really thought through what she was saying, Ken said, "You know, we could go do something really fun in the Muggle world sometime. Like. I dunno. I have been to lots of fun places. I could take you somewhere!" She got really excited and smiley and lit up like a Christmas tree. Then she realized she had something she should probably add on: "I mean, just as friends or whatever," she said hastily. She sorta blushed a little.

Dan had turned back to his newspaper as he listened to her talk. He wanted to seem Mugglish, and this was a good way to do it, even though it bored him so very much.

"Totally. That sounds good. Where would you like to go?"

Kenedie was glad that Den hadn't noticed her over-excitement or blushing. She thought seriously about where she could take him.

"Welllllllllll," she said, drawing it out, "If you're not afraid of heights, we could totally go to a theme park!"

"Sounds good." He had never been to a theme park before. He may have been a half-blood, but he always chose the magical side of his heritage over the muggle. Well, besides when he played pool. And he was amazing at that. Not too much in the scope of Muggle things though.

"We have a TV and I watch that sometimes, but I don't really do the Muggle things I see on there," he explained to her.

Kenedie considered that and then decided she was surprised that Den had a TV. Hm... and he had said "we." Who was the other person implied in that.

"Who's we?" she asked, trying to sound curious and not accusatory. She hoped the effort had worked.

Dan wanted to have some fun with her, he decided. And he was a great actor, so this could be a lot of fun. Nothing like the pathetic attempt that his brother had made.

"Me and Vannie. She's amazing." He sighed as if he was happy, though it made him shudder on the inside. He liked her, but he and Vannie weren't a couple by any means. They were... something else.

Instantly, Kenedie's posture became more businesslike. She straightened her back and folded her hands in her lap. "Oh!" she said quietly, feeling quite surprised by this bit of news. Wow, she was having to try really, really hard not to sound deflated. "How...how long have you two been together? I don't remember you mentioning her." She was trying to sound interested, she really was.

He tried not to laugh as she bought it. He was such a good actor, and she was so gullible. Curious girls like her were always easy to fool. "A few months now. We sorta had an instant attraction. You know what I mean about instant attractions?"

He was so bad, and he was loving every minute of it.

Yeah, of course Ken knew about instant attractions! That's what she thought she had going on with Den, but apparently NOT. She felt really, really disappointed, but she wasn't going to show it. That would just be rude. If Den was in a happy relationship, she was happy for her...friend.

"That's really good," she said in a voice that really didn't sound like hers. Too cheery.

"Yeah, we're thinking of going off to Vegas and just getting married," he added to the game that he was playing with her. "Not really my thing, but she's weird like that, so... Anything to please her."

He really did not want to give up this game with her, and it didn't really matter, because she was happy for him anyway.

Ex post facto, Ken would totally say someone put a spell on her or something because she couldn't fathom what was making her do what she was doing. One minute, she was thinking of polite wedding conversation, and the next minute, she was leaning across the table toward Den. She was two inches from him. An inch. Half an inch.

WHAT THE HECK? She kissed him. She just kissed him from across the table!
