The Magical Security Desk, where visitors to the Ministry check-in. The desk is made of dark, shiny wood. A complex device is placed on top of it. It is used for weighing wands. Beside the device is a small machine that prints out wand reciepts.
Only members of the Magical Security Office are allowed behind the desk. Guests to the Ministry of Magic, please step up and state your reason for visiting.
OOC: Do not Role-Play for a worker at the Security Desk. We will respond to your character and help them with their check-in, but it may take a little time. Please be patient. | |

Edward heard a commotion as he approached the security desk and noticed Egypt speaking to a rough looking character. Reaching for the wand in his waistcoat, he came up behind the man and looked at Egypt to let her know he was here with her. He was sure he would hear about it later.

"Sir please calm yourself and lower your voice." She said keeping her tone even and keeping her hand movements slow as to not over excite the man anymore than he already was. "We can't just escort you down there sir. For one no one outside the department is even allowed down there. And I am not going to disturb the Minister unless I am convinced this is a matter of extreme and I stress extreme importance." She told him calmly. "We will however disarm you and then take a walk into my office so we can talk more privately." She said motioning for Edward to take his wand and search his person.

Edward allowed Egypt to maintain the lead and just watched to see what this person would do. Quote:

Edward tentatively reached out to take the wand and place it in the wand safe under the security desk. Quickly flicking his wand to secure the safe, he turned and followed the two to Egypt's office.

Dan yawned as he passed the wand to the owner. He smiled and bid the guest goodbye which headed towards the lifts. "Hmmmm, what a typical day it is. There is no unusual people around... What a beautiful day to start a new shift in work. The wizards are pouring in and out of the Ministry just like the same day after day. The fact that he is beginning to get a hang of stuff in his line of work is getting on him and starting to take him towards new perspective in his job.
