Edward heard a commotion as he approached the security desk and noticed Egypt speaking to a rough looking character. Reaching for the wand in his waistcoat, he came up behind the man and looked at Egypt to let her know he was here with her. He was sure he would hear about it later.
Egypt felt someone coming up behind and she turned sharply to threw a hex at whoever it was. Her body was in high alert with this crazy man shrieking at her. She saw Edward and she bit her tongue to keep from hurting him. She relaxed slightly at having the backup. She nodded at him.

Out of his peripheral vision, Jasper saw the man pull out his wand. Not good. He took a deep breath and swallowed, then took a step back. He was going to have to use reason. Or try to, as much as someone like Jasper could.
"I can't tell you." He began, his gaze fixed to the floor. "But, I'd be happy to be escorted and have my wand confiscated. Please? I need to warn them.", He said, finally lifting his gaze to talk diretly towards the two Ministry workers.
"Sir please calm yourself and lower your voice." She said keeping her tone even and keeping her hand movements slow as to not over excite the man anymore than he already was.
"We can't just escort you down there sir. For one no one outside the department is even allowed down there. And I am not going to disturb the Minister unless I am convinced this is a matter of extreme and I stress extreme importance." She told him calmly.
"We will however disarm you and then take a walk into my office so we can talk more privately." She said motioning for Edward to take his wand and search his person.
