The Magical Security Desk, where visitors to the Ministry check-in. The desk is made of dark, shiny wood. A complex device is placed on top of it. It is used for weighing wands. Beside the device is a small machine that prints out wand reciepts.

Only members of the Magical Security Office are allowed behind the desk. Guests to the Ministry of Magic, please step up and state your reason for visiting.

OOC: Do not Role-Play for a worker at the Security Desk. We will respond to your character and help them with their check-in, but it may take a little time. Please be patient.

Jeremy watched as the man left. He turned toward Edward. A pitiful look plastered on his face. "Sorry sir, I was straightening papers and I didnt see him show up.'' he said shrugging hoping he wouldnt be in too much trouble.

Jeremy laughed but silenced himself as quickly as it had come. He looked at Edward. "They weren't really. I was.. concentrating hard."

Jeremy nodded giving Miley a thumbs up behind Edwards back. "Wont happen again." he said giving Edward a serious look.

Edward listened to the apology and saw the two young ladies visiting with Jeremy. He looked at them and knew it was not appropriate to chastise an employee in front of others and so he simply said, "Well, I trust that it won't happen again."

He made a note to have a discussion with the security personnel about guests at the desk.

With that, he returned to his office making up the new security checklists.

Richard noticed Jeremy and the two ladies with his eye brows raised slightly with a if-you-like expression on his face. He then watched Edward go off to his office. He put his hands in his pockets and paced up and down next to the desk.

Cassie looked at Miles, uh oh, this could get ugly if it didn't stop now. "Now, now Miles, remember who the bad twin is." Cassie said smiling slightly, trying to get her sister to laugh, and her mind off of Richard. Remember the porridge, the hot porridge, and remember it can't always happen again." She sneered.

Miley looked at her sister and said,"I wasn't trying to start anything.I was simply asking a question.Last time I looked it wasn't against the rules to ask questions."She wiped her hair out of her face and looked at her sister.

Cassie looked at her sister, slightly hurt. "I was just trying to calm you down a bit, I know your tempers can get as bad as mine, I remember while we were growing up. Nick even said he'd rather cross me than you." She told her. She promised their older brother that she wouldn't tell her that, but Cassie thought now was an exception.

"I didn't mean anything" said Richard looking at Miley a little taken aback. "if you want to ask a question obviously go ahead,you dont get answers with out questions. I didnt mean anything by it. Plus why should it be all work" he said pulling his hands out of his pockets and holding them open in an explanatory way.

Jeremy listened to the sisters. "Personally, attitude can be a good thing." he said making a comment before looking back down at the papers and at Jimmy and Richard. WHile he looked at Richard he saw that he was pacing. "You wanna sit? We could use help organizing."

"Yeah why not" said Richard, "would give me something to do" glad of something to do and to avoid any more awkward moments. He moved nearer the desk, "so what is it that needs organising" he said looking at the log book and pulling some files out of the desk drawers.

Jeremy handed Richard some papers and pulled out a chair next to him to sit. Looking at Miley as he pulled papers in order he smiled. "Her names going to be Brooklyn Alise. Its got a ring to it." he said smiling.

Richard rifled through the papers with Jeremy. He pulled one from the middle that was supposed to be the start of one section and put it nearer the top. "Well I suppose its been a bit lax lately. But its probably due to different ideas of what organised is" he said as he fixed two pieces of parchment together with his wand. "Then again considering the amount of people who pass through the atrium..."

Jimmy finially finished the little stack of papers he had been working on, he stood from his desk and walked over to the filing cabnets and sorted them in there properly.

"It could also be because," Jimmy started as he began pouring himself a cup of coffee, "Coffee anyone?" He asked them before finishing, "Their as so many new employees lately, and alot of us have been away.. So maybe they hadnt been trained properly.."
