"That's the kind of team spirit I like to see," Samantha said enthusiastically. "While you're here, would you care for a glass of pumpkin juice?" Samantha loved to keep pumpkin juice on hand, she personally loved it and enjoyed sharing it with visitors. She made sure to have a glass every morning to get her started. Few people knew it, but it actually had something to do with the reason she looked so youthful. There was some magical properties to the pumpkin juice that kept her in great shape.

Blair smiled. "Oh, I love pumpkin juice. I would love some, thank you" Blair reached for the glass that Samantha offered her and drank it slowly, savoring the taste on her tongue. "The pumpkin juice is simply divine. Thank you."

"You're very welcome," Samantha said. "Is there anything else you would like with that? I keep an array of sweets of all sorts here for anyone who wants them, as well as such things as bagels with cream cheese and that type of thing."

Samantha paused a moment. "We're actually very fortunate in the Department of Magical Education in that we are a small department and can enjoy the luxury of having a bit more space for our workers so that everyone has a private office. Sometimes I find it's better to have a space of your own so that you can think. Believe me, I've worked in a room at a desk with a large group of people before, and it was a bit distracting at times." She laughed. "I'm sure you can imagine what that might be like."

Blair nodded at Samantha talked. She really enjoyed the space, she had always had personal space issues and the fact that she didn't have to many people around her at work was a wonderful gift. "I really do appreciate having so much space to work."

Blair looked at the table of sweets and other goodies, they all looked so appetizing. "Oh, if it wouldn't be to much trouble, I'd love a bagel."

"I will," Samantha said. "You never know what is going to come up here. My motto is to expect the unexpected." She smiled. It was true, the Ministry dealt with all sorts of situations, many of which most people wouldn't believe. It could be a very interesting place, that's for sure. "Thanks for stopping in, and do feel free to do so again."

"Thank you." Blair gave a slight bow of her head and exited out of Samantha's office. Working here would be fun.

Eve came to knock on the door again.She remembered her last visit.She waited for the responce so she could enter.But this time she had a present for Samantha..Eve smiled to herself

"Hello again, Eve," Samantha said, opening the door and inviting her inside. "How are you doing this morning?" Samantha was feeling a bit lonely this morning and was happy for some company. She was still trying to figure out some solutions to the problems the Department was facing recently but so far had been unable to reach any clear cut decisions. "Come in, do have a seat."

Eve smiled."Thank you.."She walked in and took a seat.She sat down and crossed her leg one over to other."Im fine thank you,how are you..?"She said looking at Samantha.Eve had had quite a hard day,not with the work,but she was trying to figure out some ideas for her assignments.Mmmm

"Everything's okay, pretty much the same as usual," Samantha said. "I'm always busy with something or other, so much responsibility rests on our Department, but that's true of every Department in the Ministry, I suppose. Would you care for some pumpkin juice?" Samantha turned to her tray of goodies. "I'm really sorry to have laid so many tasks on the two of you so quickly, there's probably no real rush on these, well, not on the second one anyway, even though it is essential we find a solution to these things as quickly as we can. I'm especially concerned about the safety of our children. I'm sure you understand that." She smiled nervously.

Eve smiled."Id love some thank you.."She nodded.She smiled"I guess thats what we get for being such an important Department..Which is why I love it.."she grinned.She nodded."Deffently,its soo important that children now and in the future feel like they are safe at Hogwarts.."she nodded.She noticed the goodies tray."Oh,that reminds me.."she said,reaching inside her clock."I went to the Muggle town when I went home yesterday,and I found these..there hard sucky sweets..and I remembered your tray,so I thought they could be added to your collection."She said handing her the bag."Muggles do have a good sense of taste in sweets I must admit.."she giggled,and realized she was going completely of the subject..

"Oh, those are interesting! I've never seen those before, thank you so much," Samantha enthused. She was happy to add a new delightful treat to her collection. "I don't have many muggle candies except for these." She offered some colored jelly beans to Eve. "They're kind of small, but they pack a lot of flavor. You're absolutely right," she said. "We hold a grave responsibility to make sure our children are safe while they are attending school. That's why we are all here, after all. Our children are even more special because they are wizarding children. We have the responsibility to ensure their future."

Cambell found the Head of Magical Educations Office and knocked on the door. She let herself in and smiled at the woman sitting at the desk.
"Hello! We havent met yet. Im Cambell Robinson, Department of Magical Education Liaision." She said, her hand extended in greeting.
You could tell that Cambell was extremely excited to be working on her first assingment. She had been dreaming of working in the Ministry ever since she was in her 5th year at Hogwarts.

"Hello, Cambell, it's very nice to meet you," Samantha said, standing up and holding her hand out gracefully. "Have a seat, please." Always the gracious hostess, Samantha smiled and said, "Could I get you anything, pumpkin juice, a cookie?"

Samantha was always sociable and polite but always determined to do her best. She let Cambell settle in for a moment before the conversation turned around to business, which it invariably would.

"Thank you! That would be wonderful!" Cambell said, smiling at her hospitality.
She took a seat and made herself comfortable.
"I thought we should meet, since we will be working pretty closely." Cambell said, her voice a little more sofisticated then before.
"Im also here to give your Department an assignment. The Minister needs someone here to deliver a wedding invitation to his sister, Headmistress Cassandra Rae-Branxton at Hogwarts." Laylee said, explaining the task.
She smiled and waited for her to respond.

"A wedding invitation? How wonderful!", Samantha gushed. She was happy to be involved with an assignment that was so cheerful, most of what she did dealt with investigating complaints or problems dealing with events that were happening at the various wizarding schools. She had a feeling more of that type of thing was coming up very soon, so this would provide a nice break. "I would be honored to have the invitation delivered for you. How would you like it to read?"

Samantha picked up her glass of ice cold pumpkin juice, took a sip then gently put the glass down. She took just the tiniest bit of a glazed donut from some muggle establishment called Krispy Kreme, she knew that too much sugar was a bad thing but loved to have a nibble of something sweet now and then. The fact that she was in excellent shape gave testimony to her control.

"Well, just information. What day and time the wedding will be. Where and and things like that." Cambell had never really thought about the actual invitation Very stupid on her part.
"You know, there are probably invitations already prepared." Cambell said, feeling dumb. "I could get one for you and come back later." She said, trying to fix the problem. It really wasnt a horrible mistake, but Cambell couldnt stand the thought of messing up her first day at work...

"No, no, it's no problem at all," Samantha said. "Just give me the names of the two parties who are getting married, the date, time and location of the wedding and I'll make sure that everything is taken care of. I would be more than delighted to do that. I'm certain we can make something up that looks really nice and have it delivered for you."

Samantha paused a moment. "This is the Minister himself who is getting married, then, am I correct?" Samantha had heard rumors to that effect, so this assignment was becoming a bit more exciting by the moment. She tried not to show too much interest, but she had to admit that she was intrigued. Who was he marrying? When? Well, she hoped she would soon find out.

Miss or is it Mrs. Rose, my name is Joe Jon Montcenaggio or just call me J. J. Starr, mam. J. J. Starr says. I just head from a student- Jason Potter Weasley who is a freind of my neighbors about students turning into animals at Hogwarts. " Can you help them and jsut wanted you to know about it, too" J. J. Starr tells Miss or Mrs. Starr.

Samantha was startled by what this young man was saying. "J.J., please have a seat," she said, walking up and closing the door to her office so that the conversation would be uninterrupted. "I would like to hear more about this business of students turning into animals at Hogwarts, I certainly would. And you may call me Samantha, everyone else does." She smiled. "Forgive my rudeness. Would you care for a glass of pumpkin juice?" Finally something to grab Samantha's attention!

" Thanks as long it is not candy or Butterbeer from HogMeades acorrding to Jason" J. J. Starr tells Samantha. "Children apparently ate some candy from HogWarts and drank butterbeer there two and turned into anima;s. " J. J. Starr continues talking to this nice young lady. " Jason told me a freind of his Josh found out, but not sure, but is very suspicious of the new Transfiguration teacher at Hogwarts. " You might want to check her out and I think her name is Professor Pierce " J. J. Starr says.

"Professor Pierce," Samantha said slowly. "I wasn't aware that there was a new professor by that name at Hogwarts. I was under the impression that Professor Danni Pride was returning to teach there this term. This is all very interesting, J.J., but you understand that we must have substantial proof before we can act on something like this. We can't just jump in and accuse someone, I'm sure you understand this, but if you or this young student can get substantial proof that this is actually going on, my door is certainly open to you at any time." Samantha hesitated. "Do tell the boy to be careful," she said. "These are very serious allegation and we don't want any harm to come to any of our students. Hogwarts was my school, myself. What about you?"

Samantha's mind was working the whole time she was speaking. Why was this matter not brought to her attention earlier? Obviously, someone in a high position of authority at the school was trying to keep the news from reaching the Ministry.

"Thanks for the warning about the candy, that certainly should be looked into," Samantha said. "I don't have any candy from Honeydukes here, nor any butterbeer, though I do have some muggle easter egg candy and jelly beans, if you're interested in any of those. Oh, I have bagels and cream cheese, too, and some lovely croissants with whipped butter." One thing Samantha was good at was mixing business with pleasure.

Thanks Samantha, I am always hungry and will take yoru advice serously" J. J. Starr told her. " Sorry I was at Drumstrang but I do not want anything to happen to students anywhere." Joe ( the name my boss calls me) tells her.

"Durmstrang is an excellent school with a very good reputation," Samantha smiled. "Hogwarts is probably our most integrated school with an equal mix of boys and girls, as I'm sure you know." Samantha knew that J.J. knew that, she was just making small talk at this point, but she was very intrigued by J.J.'s visit and what he had told her. "Take what you wish," Samantha said, offering her tray.

She sighed and said, "Yes, we will all have to be very careful about this. There is no telling where these students have gone, and anyone who is cruel enough to turn students into animals, well, there's no telling what they might do. I can't imagine why on earth anyone would do such a thing, but the Ministry has dealt with all types, as you probably know."

Miley walked into Samantha's office and put a note on her desk.
