'Yea.' Jackie gave a half-smile. 'We're on the same track then. You've been in this job for long, yea? How's it for you? I mean, Ministry of Magic! Gotta be quite responsible, yea? Sorry I'm asking a lot about work right on the first day, I mean, during a break and all, but I'm just so nervous.' And she was. Here she was, blabbering to somebody she'd know for barely ten minutes! If that behavious was strange to somebody, it was her.

"Sorry if I'm confusing you" Caleb frowned, he hadn't realized until now just how much older everybody was, no way they'd be used to his childish confusing ways. At least she didn't seem to mind the dragging thing, that wasn't too bad. "Eighteen" he mumbled in reply to her, boy he was young.

"Nice to meet you too Eliza" he nodded and took a glance around at the others, other older people. "Have you been here for long?" he wondered.

"Hello, Katrina" so many names, he could barely remember the faces right now, the names would probably take him a year maybe six? He doubted he'd have that many. "I'm Caleb" he tried to smile.

He turned to another new face, another name he'd be determined to remember. "Hey, Caleb" he smiled, party? That's what they called it, not the party he was use to. "Where's the guitars?" he said, before he could even stop himself. He reached out a hand and picked up one of the cupcakes, "charmed to do what exactly?" he asked.

'Naw, when I was at Hogwarts, I confused everyone... And did amazing pranks...' Holli beamed, her eyes sparkling. Her and Allie had been the pranksters at Hogwarts. Hell yeah. 'Eighteen? Wow! Only four years younger than me!' Holli laughed. 'Do you like the ministry so far?' she asked.

"Long name, I know... You could just call me Maine." Maine chuckled. "I know, pretty lame for a party. More of a get together." she said, grinning.

"They're charmed to be whatever flavor you order them to be. And if you don't tell 'em anything, they're vanilla." He wasn't that young. Only about 3 years younger than Maine.

"Heya, Holli!" Maine greeted cheerily. "What's new? Anything interesting going on?"

Melissa stepped up to shake hands with her new boss. "Hello, my name's Melissa. I wanted to say thank you for hiring me and for this wonderful welcome party. It really is nice when someone thinks about doing something like this. Especially for us newbies, it makes us feel welcome and give us the chance to get to know the other staff." Melissa smiled at Mr. Recard.

Aidon sat back from the rest of the employees. He had intended to meet and socialize with new and current coworkers, but shortly after arriving, he had gotten a rather intense headache. As Armen began socializing with the workers, he began to make his way to ask him something slightly important. However, he was distracted by a female worker, who looked new.

''Hello,I'm Tim,Wonmderful department here''He grabbed another drink of water and sat down on a chair..I'm new here and I work in Floo records.

Maine smirked. "Boyfriend, oui?" she asked. "What's he like? You should introduce him to me sometime..."

Maine frowned a little. "No... Holli. I don't think I'm looking at the moment, though... Not so soon after the divorce." she said softly.

She'd been forced into a pureblood marriage with an abusive husband and it had taken long enough for her to successfully file a divorce.



"Hi, I'm Maine, Apparation records and license issuer." she grinned at the newbie. "Nice to meet you, Tim."

Holli turned to the voice and smiled. 'Hey, Tim, nice t'meetcha! I'm Holli! I work in the Portkey Department, I'm the Portkey Recovery Witch.' Holli told him.
Holli nodded. 'Yup, he's amazing, he's really sweet! He's called Rupert Weasley, he works in Games and Sports!' Holli tolds her.

'Oh, I didn't know you had a divorce...' Holli said quietly. 'I had someone I went out with. When I eventually broke up with him he got violent.' she whispered.

Maine smiled a little. "Zat's great, Holli! We should all go get ice-cream together sometime..."

Then, she brought up the divorce. "It wasn't zat bad, I guess... I never loved 'im. It was an arranged marriage and 'e had anger issues." she replied softly, her accent slowly creeping back into her voice. " 'e'd yell at me all the time and he was always drunk. The divorce'll be finalized by the end of the month. I'll have to pop back to France, though..."

Yeah, she'd have to ask Armen about that part sometime soon... For now, though, Maine'll just enjoy the delicious food. And she took a bite of one of the sandwiches sitting ever so temptingly on the table.

Holli nodded. 'Yes, we shall!' she beamed. Ice cream. Nom.

'Arranged marriage, that must've sucked. Oh, are you French?' Holli asked, noticing the accent and trying to place it. She wasn't very good at that...

''I work in Floo Records.''How long have you been working here?''I've met a few people here and they seem really nice''

Anna was busy looking at the other employees getting mix up with each other. It was kinda very nice of them, to greet each other and socialize. After all they were in the same department.

She looked for something to eat; she was very hungry after all the arrangement in the department. She quickly grabbed a cookie and placed it in her mouth. Chewing it she looked around and noticed someone talking about floo. Floo? Is that correct? Till now he was the first one who mentioned it from the new bunch of employees.

She walked towards them with the plate of cookie and introduced herself. Hey Tim, I'm Anna Smith. I'm the Head of Floo Network." she said and smile at the boy. "Hope you like it in here."

''It's very good.''He grabbed a peice of cake and asked''When will we be giving things to do?''

'I've been working here for about a year now.' Holli told him proudly. 'Yeah, we're all really nice people!' Holli beamed. 'You just gotta watch out for the MLEs... We're having a feud with them right now...' Holli told him. Stupid MLE's.

Anna smiled as he replied. "Oh, that's good. I like it in here too. If you need help with something then do let me know. I'll be around here." She said and smiled.
She was surprised to hear what he said. Work, you just joined and you want to get started to work? It was a good thing to see the enthusiasm in the new employees. They weren't lazy it seemed.
She looked at him and said. "Hmm, you're ready to get started to get to work so soon? That's good."

Victoria decided to introduce herself to the new employees so she said "I am Victoria Potter Weasley!"

''Well when ever it comes i''l be ready Tim said.''He was becoming more settled and put down his drink.

Jackie was very talkative.Yes, she was. But a very enjoying companion too. She decided to answer the questions she had asked, which she also lost track of. "I've only worked in the Ministry for two years and I just transferred here now. And I'm always on the Transportation Department." That was because she really loved flying. And brooms were her best friends. "It's alright. I mean, first day jitters. By the way, are you married ?" she asked. That was not a very personal question right ?

"Nope. Just starting this year," she told the boy as he looked at her companions. "But I had worked at the British Ministry of Magic for two years," she added. Oh, that was two unforgettable years. "And you, I guess it's your first year to work here too ?"

She was talking to Jackie when a man walked up to her. She glanced as he asked her a question."Yeah. Brooms Company & Shops Liason," she answered casually.

Wait, what ?! "You do ?" O 'me Godric ! Did she heard it right ? Their supervisor was a male ? NOOOO ! She would be under the supervision of a man. And that was not good, she couldn't work well with boys. And due to her unbelieving this revelation, she hadn't notice the upheld hand.

Anna saw Aidon busy talking with the new employees. She walked over to them and introduced herself to the new ones. "Hey, I'm Anna Smith, Head of Floo Network. How do you like it in here?" she asked to the lady with a smile.



As she was talking to them she heard someone talking loudly. Anna turned to see who was it and saw Victoria. "Hey Victoria, How are you?" She said and smiled at her.



Anna was very happy to hear the response from Tim. She smiled as she heard his reply. "That's good Tim, because we'll be starting in any time soon. As Armen, would be going to announce some work for each of us. So it won't be a very long waiting." she said and smiled.

'You like Transportations, then. I simply LOVE flying. It's like my second home or something.' Jackie giggled. 'No, I'm not married. I'm just eighteen.' And eighteen's NOT a age to get married, according to her. 'If I ever get married, it will only be after twenty-five. I wanna enjoy life as a single lady as much as I can.' Jackie winked. 'What about you? Are you married?'



Jackie turned at the new voice. 'Um.. hello. I'm Jackie. Brooming Games Liasion. Nice to meet you.' Jackie smiled.

Ok... So the room was full of new people. New-ish people now though. They'd been here for a while, and Allie probably should introduce herself. She meant to do it ages ago.
She stood up, turning to all the faces she didn't recognise well, and smiled.
'Hi, i'm Allie, this is my twin Holli,' she said gesturing at her identical twin, who was in conversation with someone. 'It's great to meet you all.'

"I am good thanks!" Victoria told young woman who had spoken to her, "I have just come back from my honeymoon!"
