Walking out of the lifts, feeling unbelievably tired and hungry, Aidon trudged along and made his way into the Level 6 Break Room. He walked across the room to the coffee machine, not looking around the room. He reached into his robes and pulled out his wand, gave it a lazy flick, and stood there, half awake, as coffee poured into his goblet, sugar cubes fell in, and creamer poured nicely. He gave his wand another flick, and the contents of the goblet mixed. He picked up the goblet and turned around. It was then that he noticed someone else was in the break room. Having nearly dropped his goblet in surprise, Aidon awkwardly stumbled a bit in place. As chagrin flushed in his face, he made his way to the table that the female coworker sat at. He stared into her dark eyes and gave her a small nod.
"Mind if I sit here," he asked her, giving her a faint smile.

Layla had to admit that London was a lot different from her Chelsea home town. The people, everything was just...different. She was starting to adjust to her new environment though and was sure that as soon as she started working, the change would come without her even noticing.

There was also the fact that she hadn't made that many friends here just yet and the only person she knew was her half sister and they were far from even civil to each other. The fact that she would be doing mostly field work woould certainly help her cause though, since she would be meeting a lot of people delivering portkeys.

She was brought from her thoughts when a male voice dragged her thoughts back to the break room. She returned his smile and nodded."I don't mind at all, have a seat." Looked like things would probably look up in the friends department after all.

Aidon smiled as the girl, who seemed to be lost in a reverie, looked up at him and granted him permission to sit at her table. He placed the goblet of coffee down and slid into a chair. He took a sip, grimaced, and open his mouth with a look of agony. Realizing this was embarrassing, he bent over and faked a cough. He sat upright, his eyes watering slightly.
"The coffee," he said numbly. "It's really hot." He stood up to grab a napkin and some pastries. Placing some Cauldron Cakes and Pumpkin Pasties on a plate, he came back and sat down.
"I don't believe I heard your name back in the Conference Room," he said. This was entirely true; Aidon had been extremely late to the team meeting and had therefore missed everyone getting to know each other. He shook his head slightly and smiled again. "My name is Aidon, Aidon Elric," he said, reaching his hand across the table to shake hands with his coworker.

Laya watched as the young man sank into the seat across from her and sipped his steaming cup of coffee. She winced slightly as she saw his reaction to getting burn, imaging the pain he probably felt. It wasn't like she hadn't gotten burned by hot beverages before, so she could totally empathize with him. She chuckled though as she noticed his attempt at trying to down play the situation."Are you alright?"She watched as he placed the different pastries on his plate and settled in to the seat once more. "Well I don't remember seeing you so I suppose you wouldn't have." She took his hand and shook it." It's a pleasure Mr. Elric. I'm Layla Dacosta."

Roderigo smiled as he shook hands with Layla.
"Please," he insisted, "call me Aidon. And yeah, I think I'm ok." He let out a slow sigh, which made his burnt tongue tingle. He picked up a Pumpkin Pasty and took a rather large bite out of it. It tasted a bit stale, and he swallowed it with difficulty. Rather than risking another burn on his tongue, the young man took out his wand and tapped the goblet. Frost glazed the outside of the goblet; the drink became very chilled.
"Meh, I prefer frappuccinoes anyways," he said absentmindedly. He placed the stale Pumpkin Pasty down and decided to try a Cauldron Cake instead. This one was fine. He took another big bite and chewed it silently.
"Which division do you work in?" he asked after swallowing his pastry with some of his frappuccino.

Holli edged slowly in. This was her first day of work and she wasn't sure where she should be... She just saw a lot of people and guessed she should be in here...

Taking a sip of his new frappuccino, Aidon heard the faint click as the door opened and someone walked inside. He twisted around in his chair, and saw a woman walk in. His eyes flitted to her face, then his watch, and then back to her.
"Hello there!" he exclaimed. "You must be a newer employee, right? My name is Aidon Elric, the Senior Broom Supervisor of the Regulator Broom Control division!" He gave a small wink to Laya and turned back to the woman. "Would you like to join us? We're just having our morning coffee and pastries!" he beckoned for the new woman to sit with the two of them.

'Umm... Hello!' Holli said nervously 'My name's Holli Lewis... Should I be in here?' she asked 'If I should I'd love to join you... I've gotta get to know some people...' Apart from Allie... She thought in an afterthought 'I don't suppose you've seen my twin? I don't know where she went...' she asked Aidon

Katrina walked into the break room desperate for some coffee. How was she supposed to proctor exams if she was tired?! And besides, her six year old sister had felt the need to flush her freshly brewed coffee down the toilet. Ugh. Her long blonde hair had been tied up in a ponytail today, too lazy to really do anything else.

She took out her mug, which she had just bought, and poured herself of the ever so lovely coffee. She watched the dark liquid fall into her mug and added some milk and sugar before taking a sip. Then she realized there were people in here. Ah... awkward. Katrina smiled at everyone there. "Hello," Katrina greeted politely, "How are you all doing today?" she asked, not sitting. She was going to have to return to her desk fairly soon anyways.

Layla smiled and nodded. Of course most people didn't want to be called by their lastnames because it did make you sound a tad bit older." Fine then Aidon it is. It's a nice name anyways, I don't mind addressing you by it."

She chuckled a little as she watched him ice his coffee."I like frapps better too actually. It's a lot easier to consume."

"I'm in the portkey delivery devision." She said beaming." I'm actually really excited about it. I didn't want to be confined to a desk job." She explained.

Layla looked up as they were joined by another transportation employee. Oh fun, more people. She smiled at the woman and caught Aidon's wink as he started to address her."Hello Holli." She moved over a little to make space for the woman that Aidon invited to join them. She looked at Aidon then back at the woman."No I haven't seen anyone since getting here actually..."

Another person walked in and Layla waved at her."Good morning." This one however didn't seem like she would be staying. A shame really since she hadn't exactly met most of the level six employees.

Katrina leaned against the wall, still cradling her coffee in her hands before walking over. Well, she should probably introduce herself, especially since they would be working together in the same department. Katrina held her mug in one hand holding her hand out for the other woman to shake. "Katrina Rayne," she said with a smile before taking a much deserved sip of her coffee.

Aidon smiled as Holli introduced herself and sat down. He picked up his pastry, ripped off a piece, and threw it into his mouth. His eyes flitted to the large clock that hung off the wall. As Holli asked them about her alleged twin, he gave his head a slow shake.
"No, before you came, it was just Layla and I," he said, pretty much saying the same thing Layla did. He smiled to her as she told him what division she worked in. Portkeys. That was Aidon's second choice, but he was content with his position Armen had given him. But just then, another woman walked in. It was getting pretty nice in here, meeting all of the new employees. He spun around in his chair, but realized that the woman had no intention of sitting with the three of them. With his brows slightly furrowed, he shrugged and turned back around in his chair as the woman came and introduced herself to Layla. He turned to them and smiled.
"Hello Katrina," he said. "My name is Aidon Elric."

'Oh, she'll probably be here soon...' Holli said. I'm sure she was downstairs with me... Holli thought
'Holli sipped her mocha. Mmmmmm.... Mocha...... Ooh! New person! 'Hey, Katrina, my name's Holli!' she grinned at the new arrival. She didn't seem to want to sit down... That's strange, most people would want to meet fellow collegues!

Layla smiled and took the woman's hand, giving it a firm shake."Nice to meet you Katrina...Rayne?" Yeah she wasn't sure if the woman wanted to be addressed by her first name only so she tentatively added her last name to be safe."I'm sure I saw you in the first meeting in here the other day." She added conversationally.

Her attention was brought back to Aidon as he addressed Holli and Miss Rayne. She had to admit, Aidon seemed to really like his food, and for a moment her mind strayed to thinking about how much food his wife had to cook to keep him filled.

Holli's voice brought Layla back from her thoughts. Oh her twin was going to be joining them. That was awesome."I can't wait to meet her."

'Yeah, I can't wait for her to get here...' Holli said grumpily. 'Hey, do you know when we get our first job thingy...' Holli wasn't very good with words!

Andie was tired, so had soon found herself in the break room for some coffee, which was odd for her because usually she was energetic and it was wrong of her to have any caffeine. This morning she needed it though, after she stayed up the previous night watching muggle movies.

She yawned slightly as she poured herself some coffee, very caffeinated coffee, spooning in sugar without paying much attention. Turning to look at her coworkers, she smiled at them. "Hi everyone, how are you all going." She said, already starting to down her coffee. Yum, caffeine. She could already feel herself feeling more awake and brighter.

'Hai! I'm Holli!' Holli grinned at the new arrival. 'What's your name?'

Charmayne groaned as she stepped into the break room. Maine does NOT like lifting heavy furniture.

Maine made a beeline for the coffee machine and made herself an expresso. That's when she noticed the two bleary figures sitting down, chatting. Maine could recognise one voice, but one was totally unfamiliar. She rubbed her eyes, taking in her surroundings.

It's Andie! "Harro, Andie!" she exclaimed as energetically as her groggy self could. "And hi.... Err... Have we met?"

'Shouldn't think so!' Holli grinned. 'I'm Holli! What's your name?'

Katrina smiled at the man warmly. "Pleasure Mister Elric," Katrina said before she turned to look at the woman who seemed to be in a very good mood. That was good, happy workers were good workers, right? And that meant that the woman was motivated. "Holli, it's nice to meet you as well," Katrina greeted smiling.

She turned back to the other woman and smiled. "Katrina is fine, Miss Dacosta, if I remember correctly?" she said. She was fairly certain that was the name. Katrina nodded. "I believe I saw you there as well," Katrina said, confirming the woman's thoughts.

And as if out of no where, more employees came in. Well... might as well take a seat if they were all going to just slack off she supposed. Katrina pulled out a chair at a nearby table and sat, sipping her coffee once more. "Miss Andie, Miss Charmayne," Katrina greeted the two with a smile before she resumed nursing her very lovely cup of coffee.

Wow, this woman was very formal! 'We're all just sat here... Hey what are we doing?' Holli asked her collegues.

"I'm Charmayne. But you'd call me Maine if you know what's good for you." Yeah, Maine may not be the most logical person you know, but she is really good at hexes.

"Maine will do, Miss Rayne. I've been called that so long, that it sticks. Also the fact that I rarely respond to the full first name." Maine grinned.

"I've got no clue but I'm having an expresso. Why? Because I'm drop dead exhausted from moving into my condo yesterday." Sigh. "Anyone want to help me paint walls?"

'Right, Maine... I can remember that!' Holli grinned. 'I love painting... I don't know why!' Holli laughed

Allie half walked half stumbled into the room. Professional was not her thing, and even though her ankle had been mended in a flash, it hadn't felt the same after her ice-skating accident...

She was trying, really trying, for her first day at work, but, as usual, failing a bit. How could Holli, her twin, be so organised?? That was the one thing that amazed Allie.

'Hello everyone,' she smiled nervously, entering the room and dropping her bag on the floor as it slid off her shoulder. Was there anyone in the world as clumsy as me?, Allie thought, blushing and picking it up. 'I'm Holli's twin....'

'Allie! Are you OK, now? I remember we were ice-skating and then you were on the floor!' Holli said worried. Her sister was especially clumsy... Yes, Holli had her moments, but Allie's moments were all the time!,
