'ALLIE!' Holli cried, hugging her twin. 'Now, why are you late this time?' she smirked, her eyes twinkling mischieviously like usual. A prank was forming in her head... She shook her head. She wasn't evil. Well, maybe just a bit...

Maine nodded. "Yes, I'm French, Holli." she smiled. "Born and bred in Cannes. Moved out when he started abusing me, though..."

She's happy now, she reminded herself. "At least I'll get it finalized soon. I don't want anything to do with that jerk. Ever!"


Maine turned around to face the voice. Oh, it's Victoria.

"Hi, Victoria. I'm Maine." she grinned.

Allie. Why did that name ring a bell. Oh, it's ALLIE!

"ALLIE!" Maine squealed, pulling Allie into a hug. "I missed you! Why're you late? The cupcakes are finishing!"

Anna smiled as she heard the response from her fellow worker. For Anna Jackie seemed young in her looks. She thought about asking her few things she thought of. Well, it was always good to know more about one another in person.
Anna looked at her and asked "Jackie you look like a teenager, is this your first job ever?" She didn't know how Jackie would respond to that, but she felt good asking her.



Anna turned to a familiar voice she just heard. It seemed of someone she knew. "Oh, Allie, how are you? Didn't see you around much." she said smiling to her.



Anna smiled as she saw Victoria talking. She heard her talking something about honeymoon. what? Honeymoon? "Did you just say honeymoon? You're married, because you look kinda young to me. So it's a surprise. hehe. Anyways did you have fun?" she asked her.



Suddenly Anna saw someone with Allie. They looked kinda similar. Oh, she her twin Allie was talking about? She walked over to them. "Hey, I'm Anna Smith, Head of Floo Network. Didn't see ya around much. Are you new here too?" she asked her and smiled.

'Yea, I'm eighteen. I think I'm one of the few who're that young, yea?' She'd noticed only one person who still looked like a teenager apart from her. But the friendly climate about her made her feel that nobody minded that young newbies around. Well, she definitely hoped so.

'Yea. Apart from the odd-jobs I used to do during my summer vacation, that is. I'm so nervous I'd have thought everybody would have noticed that right away. And if you think I'm blabbering too much, blame it on my nerves. I'm not usually the overly talkative type.' Jackie smiled apologetically. Really! What was it with her. First Eliza, now Anna. Was it the excitement of first day of work or was it the friendly climate here. She really didn't know. Well, she liked to talk, definitely, as long as the listeners didn't get bored.

'You've been in this job long, umm, Head?' Anna, or Head? What should she call her? Well, if she didn't like being called Head, she'd correct her, right? Better be ticked off for being formal than informal.

"Hello Maine!" she said as she smiled at her and then said to Anna "Yes I did, I left Hogwarts last september we got married during the summer hoildays!"

Maine grinned some more. Yes, she smiled way too much, she thought as she rubbed her cheeks.

"You just left 'ogwarts? That's nice..." Maine said, small smile this time.

"Wait... Did you just say married?" Maine suddenly snapped to attention. Eyes glazing over, she remembered the horror that was her marriage. She'd married just out of school too, but it was one of the pureblood arranged things with an abusive husband.

Cringing slightly, she turned back to face the others. Her marriage was bad, but she was sure that Victoria's was founded on love, not pureblooded family trees.

Why did Maine get pureblood supremacist parents, again?

"Well... I go out and find things that would make good portkeys. Which... isn't really hard. I was raised in the muggle world, so I know what kind of things they'll ignore." Jayden said.

He then smirked mischievously. "So, I normally spend my days wandering around muggle London." In fact, since switching to portkeys, he had discovered exciting new restaurants and quaint little shops to take Jade.

"What about you?" he asked. Delivery couldn't possibly take up all of her time.

"Yes, we met at Hogwarts! He is a year older than me!" Victoria told Maine and then said "Are you ok?"

Leo was finally back from vacation, and he was ready to work...after he had his coffee. He plopped down in the break room with his hot drink cradled in his left hand. Looking over some paperwork he sighed. Paperwork wasn't so bad, unless you'd neglected it until you had a stack as high as the leaning tower of Pisa. Not that Leo would ever neglect paperwork like that. Well, he was a notorious procrastinator. He smiled and nodded at the others in the break room, secretly hoping somebody would come peak to him and save him from this pile. Because on his own, he couldn't justify putting it off any longer. If someone came to speak to him however....

Victoria was sitting at one of the tables, drinking at cup of coffee and thinking about what her cousin had asked her. Joey asked Victoria if there was anyone that she could fix her up with for a date.

"Hey Victoria," Leo smiled, noticing the other person in the room. She needed her morning coffee as well apparently. "What's up?" It looked like the girl was deep in thought, and much as Leo hated to interrupt her, he hated paperwork. Maybe if he was also having a conversation, it wouldn't be so bad to fill out tedious answers and evaluations.

Victoria smiled as Leo come over "Hey Leo, I am thinking about work and my cousin, she is looking for a date!"

"That's brilliant, Victoria." Maine smiled. "I'm fine. I just had a bad marriage. Arranged, and totally devoid of love."

Bah, Friday. The blasted day before she had to pop over to France for her divorce hearing. Maine was not looking forward to hearring her soon-to-be-ex husband yell at her.

Picking up a cup of coffee, Maine looked around to see who else she could bug sit with. After a while, she found Leo, all alone, with his paperwork.

Sitting down opposite him, Maine pulled out a pen.

"Need any help with those?" she asked, eyeing the tall stack of paper in front of Leo.

"I am sorry to hear that, are you still with him, can I ask?" Victoria asked Maine and then said "I am also here if you want a chat!"

Holli nodded. 'Awesome! French! Yeah, I would think you would move out after that.' Holli nodded.

Holli nodded fervently. 'I know what you mean.' she said.

'Have you ever travelled around the world?' she asked, a glazed look taking over her eyes as she remembered her and Allie's travels. They had been awesome!

"Sorry about that, Victoria." Maine said, apologetically. "Sort of? Well, the divorce would be finalized soon. Maybe even this week."

"But I'm sure your marriage'll turn out great. You seem happy." Maine was only 21, but she'd experienced enough suffering to last her a lifetime.

"French, but I've lost some of the accent. Can't lose the musicalness, though." she frowned. This is why Maine just felt odd talking to people who'd identify her accent straightaway. Not fun.

Maine nodded too. "Final hearing's this weekend. So, I'll be popping back home for a couple o' days, then I'll be as free as a bird!"

"I've been to Austrailia, Egypt and certain parts of Asia?" Maine grinned. "OW!" she yelped rubbing her cheek. Maine should seriously stop smiling so much.

'Aw, I sing...' Holli admitted, in a mumble. She could sing, alright? Most people thought that her being her, she couldn't do anything like that. But she could sing. Quite well, actually.

'Awesome! Aw, we'll miss you whilst you're in France!' Holli smiled. 'FREE! FREE AS A BIRD!' she said comically, holding her arms out beside her and pretending to fly.

'Me and Allie toured the world. We wanted to see how other wizarding communities worked, get a feel for things, I felt it rather coincidental that we're in MT!' Holli chuckled.

"You sing?" Maine asked, trying hard not to smile. "I fail!"

Seeing Holli flapping her arms like a bird, Maine burst into laughter. Uncontrollable fits of laughter. "HOLLI!" she squeezed out between laughs.

After she calmed down, she responded slowly, for fear of bursting again.

"That's awesome, Holl!" Maine grinned. "I'm pretty sure I got in here just because I could ride a broom."

And she exploded into hysterical laughter again.

A date? Leo was always up for a date. "A date for what?" He asked smilingly. Leo was perfectly willing to take someone on a date, providing she was cute, and could have a good sort of conversation. Much as Leo loved beauty, he wasn't completely shallow. And he didn 't necisarily like girls who were either. "I could take her out."
Leo glanced up as someone spoke to him. It was Maine. He smiled at her as she offered to help with his tedious work. "Thanks, but I'm almost done." Not true. He had hours of work left, but he wasn't about to force Maine to do it with him. Not if the rumors he'd been hearing were true. She'd been having a tough time lately. Paperwork would not improve that. "How are you doing? I heard you were flying to France tomorrow?" This he said sympathetically. He'd never experienced divorce, but he didn't imagine it to be a fun experience.

Maine smiled back, although her smile wasn't as happy as it had been before.

"Leo, we both know that this pile of work here," Maine stared pointedly at the pile. "Has got to be at least another 4 hours on your own. Just let me help, Leo. It'll take my mind off things." Maine said, her eyes piercing through any lie. Everything was nearly stamped in bold across his eyes.

"I'm doing alright. You don't have to worry yourself too much." Maine said, softly. Leo was way too nice and Maine didn't deserve that. "Yes, only for a day or two. I should be back by Monday."

It was easier. LeBlanc family heirlooms went back to her, the rest he kept. Maine didn't have children, she would worry about them night an day with a father as abusive as him.

Maine was only 21. She could easily find someone else. She just wasn't looking at the moment.

She had a point. The pile was pretty ridiculous. And she seemed to want to help. Leo nodded, "Yeah, I just didn't want you to have to stress too much. You've got enough to worry about. But if it will help.." He pulled a small report off of the bottom of his stack. If she still wanted more when she was done with that, Leo would gladly split the pile in half with her. He smiled at her. "Maine, can I ask you a personal question?" A question definitely crossing the boundaries of co-workers, and sometimes even friends?

'Sorry,' Alli blushed a little, hugging her twin and Maine back. 'You did save me some cupcakes, didn't you?' she asked, looking round for some food. 'I had a slight incident with a bucket of water and my grip on the floor,' she blushed sheepisly. Allie had a natural talent for falling over, and knocking a bucket of water over and slipping on it was perfectly normal...

Holli blushed. She didn't usually tell anyone that she sung. She nodded. 'Ja, I sing. I'm sure you're not THAT bad!' Holli grinned.

Holli burst out laughing along with Maine. She had a natural habit of making people laugh with her ridiculousness. She was very ridiculous. And was good at being an idiot. And a clutz. Not as good as Allie though, with the whole clutz thing. Allie tripped over everyhting. As she had just demonstrated.

Holli nodded. And burst out laughing again. 'I... Suppose that'd... Help!' she gasped through laughter.
'Of course we did!' Holli grinned, waggling her eyebrows before laughing again. She rolled her eyes. 'Of course, that's just like you Allie!' she smirked at her twin. Allie was the clumsy one. Holli wasn't clumsy, but she was the... Hmm. Well, they sort of fulfilled the clutz together. Allie was clumsy, Holli did stupid things. Combined together, you get a clutz!

"She is looking for a boyfriend but she has two children" Victoria told Leo and then said "She would love that!"

Maine smiled. "Of course we saved you the cupcakes! They're waiting for you on the tray over there."

"Ah, the problems with the floor?" Maine said, smirking. "Yeah, I get those a lot!"

"I am that bad." Maine choked through chuckles. "Well, at least that's what I've been told. My sister's really good, though..."

Enough to worry about? Oh, he'd heard...

"Thanks," she said, taking the file from him and pulling out a pen from her robes. "Work's sort of a distraction. That and music, but I don't have the time for that anymore."

Just as she was finishing off the first paragraph, Leo asked her a question. Wait, personal question as in what?

"Sure, Leo... Fire away." she said, resting her head on her right hand while she filled in the report.
