So this was one of her husband’s colleagues. Oddly Dorian had never talked that much about someone named Carter. Was this because of the way the man behaved? Tasha’s eyes had widened in disgust by the time the water left the man’s mouth and hit the floor. "That’s disgusting. You could at least have had the decency to spit the content of your mouth out in the sink instead of destroying our work space. I guess this is why my husband Dorian hasn’t mentioned you much to me." Tasha commented before she averted her eyes from the unbelievable man. And now she was irritated with Dorian for not warning her about this careless man. Pulling out her wand Tasha aimed it with an irritated flick at the disgusting mess on the floor at Carters feet. "Evanesco."

Even Cora offered up a more sanitary alternative to spitting out the water in Carter’s mouth on the floor. At least the ministry couldn't fault Accidents and Catastrophes for not coming up with practical solutions. Taking up the nearest phone again Tasha asked Cora with a glance over at Aron. "How many phones does each department need? I'm assuming each department head's office should have at least one but per level? Is three a good amount?"

Right, well, he certainly had no desire to finish his coffee now that that had happened, so he poured the remainder of his cup out the open window and into the bushes outside. He couldn't help but laugh at Natasha sort of name dropping her husband. Dorian, he remembered that fellow. Hadn't ever particularly gotten on with him. "You should have made him clean that up himself," Aron pointed out after she had already done so. "And I am rather glad he did not just point his wand at himself for some water." Could you imagine the mess the auror would have made had he done that. Clearly didn't have as clear a head on his shoulders as you, Cora.

But it was clear that the longer they stayed in this room the more chaos Carter was going to cause...so best to just get back out into the field.

"Just one for each Department Head's office," he clarified as he moved towards their visitor. "Although at this point in the game I'd rather you all be focusing your efforts scouting possible entrances and working on enchantments. Or getting some assistance from the Gringotts Curse Breakers." It was MAY after all. They had been out in this dump for far too long. Which is why he turned his attention back towards Carter. "I could actually use a little security help with something, if you wouldn't mind accompanying me into London. You might even get to blow something up."

He seemed the sort that would enjoy that sort of thing.

Point his wand in his mouth and spray water? Josh blinked at the woman who suggested that he could have done that as a better means to provide water for himself. It didn't sound healthy to him but...right, it could have worked. The auror smiled at her a bit "Well...sorry that i was not born as smart and practical as you are."

Then the other lady was basically snapping at him. He looked down at the yuck as the woman vanished it then looked back at the woman. Dorian, Dorian, Dorian. She sounded like she was blind with love for Dorian. Dorian the sweetheart never mentioned her about him? "Maybe it is because he doesn't enjoy gossiping about people at work."

This department really fit its name or they actually ate filth at lunch. Then there was that boring talk about charmed telephones and stuff and stuff. Why was he here again? Security? Right. And Aron needed him for a security matter. So he had said. London? What business did this man have in London that might be needing security? "Fine." he said and, of course, blowing things up totally got his interest. "I will grab proper food on the way."

That didn't taste disgusting.

Food right. Sure. If the auror insisted they could grab something at a food truck or something along the way. Eat on the go because there was no more time to waste.

"Right, well, we better get a move on then," Aron said as he gave his employees a quick glance and then tossed Natasha a small notepad he had charmed earlier with a Protean Charm. "Use this if you need me for something."

Eyes back on Carter now, he took a few confident strides towards the door. "Follow me then. We're off to muggle London."

Yeah, Cora also thought he should've had to clean that up himself too, but at least it was gone now. And the spraying water into his mouth wouldn't have been bad if the end of the wand was actually inside his mouth. Obviously she didn't want him holding it at arm length's or any distance that would cause a further mess. But all that was over, at least, and compliments worked for her, especially when they were true, so MLE guy was off the hook for now.

So back to the phones. Or...not? Scouting for entrances sounded fine to her. And potentially much more productive, especially if they were actually able to find and entrance into the Ministry. The phones could wait for a little bit. "Sure, we can do that," she replied with a nod and a glance over at Tasha before Aron had turned his attention to MLE dude and what they were going to do. She turned to Tasha. "Ready to go? We can get back to the phones later if we need to."
