Abandoned HMS Royal ArthurThe Department of Accidents and Catastrophes still needs a place to get their work done, and this old naval school seems to fit the bill.

The remains of what once must have been a basketball court can just barely be seen under all the rubble and garbage that covers the floor. At one end of the gymnasium, the backboard hangs by nothing more than a thin wire from the ceiling while at the other end the net has disintegrated entirely, leaving nothing but the rim and backboard. Most of the windows are broken, but hey, at least there is a wide open space to use for training and and whatever spellwork and experimentation employees may need to do.

As you make your way through the rubble and weeds growing through the cracks in the ground, you find yourself in what was once a grand gymnasium. Wooden tables and sofa chairs, some in better shape than others, are strung about the area in a half-hazard fashion and can be sat on once some of the dust and leaves are cleared off. Standing in the middle of the gymnasium ready to greet any Ministry employees is Oliver Jenkins, Magical Accidents and Catastrophoes' Event Concealment Advisor.
So come on it, grab a seat if you want, do some stretches, and get ready to rumble.
He knew how to be a muggle, and it clearly showed as he drove his sports car to the meeting place just to show he was different from the wizards that required this training. He was also dressed in simple jeans, a winter shirt and a heavy, black winter coat. He didn't need this, but he wanted to impress his boss, aka the Minister, so he figured he might as well attend.
"Hello, sir," he greeted the man standing there and stood not too far or close to him.
And tried not to examine the place. Really. He didn't. Because if he did, he would leave immediately and probably check the plane tickets back to Brazil, and he couldn't afford that now, so, ignorance was bliss.

Simon finally had made it to the temporary headquarters on Accidents and Catastrophes and as he looked it over, he couldn't help but compare it with the underground. As if wondering who had it worse in the scheme of things as well as trying to get a feel for the area he would likely be patroling in the near future. The natural light was a plus, though the rubble and decay left much to be desired like their own smells and rat issue. It did seem somewhat fitting giving the department's name though.
Catastrophe area anyone?
He passed through the regulation office after finding it, getting a pass and directions to the gymnasium, an area no better off then anywhere else. The auror spotted two other men, both of which he was sure he had seen in passing while he worked over his various duties. "Good day," Simon greeted them both as he cautiously picked his way closer. The least he could do at the moment was try to be positive. That and silently wonder who would be joining him from Level 2...a couple having seen interested including Jory the YATI.
Jack had seen the memo on the board at the new location of COMC division of the Ministry and was excited to take on a new opportunity in special training. He found his way to the gymnasium based on the map provided. He walked through the doors with a big grin on his face and waited to see what would happen next.
No difficulties in getting there, as he was used to using Muggle transportation and also, that had been his work place for a few days now. Not that he approved of it at all.
Derek walked into the gymnasium and refrained himself from making a face after realising he was one of the first ones there. Great... no way would he be able to make an entrance quietly enough so no one would notice him. "G'day." He greeted no one in particular, without looking at anyone and made his way... somewhere where the others weren't. Far enough for none of them to start a conversation with him, but close enough so that he wouldn't call that muc attention as 'the outcast'.
The 28 year-old efinitely did not need this training. Too bad it was mandatory.

Victoria really wanted nothing to do with this training or whatever it was. Mariel said they had to go, but her anxiety to be with so many people was in high alert today and all she wanted to do was curl in a ball and hide in a corner. She was hoping since it was the entire ministry that she could just fade into the background and no one would know she was even there.
Finally making it to the building she looked around Merlin was she even in the right spot. She hoped at least, because lord knew she didn't need to walk into some muggle place and have to figure out a reason why she was there. She could see it now, hello muggles I'm here for a training about you. Yeah that would go over well.
Deciding it would be best if she just went straight in seeing others standing there, but not many. She nodded at them, "I'm assuming I'm in the correct place." She hoped they weren't muggles at least, but then she saw Simon. Yes she had to be in the correct place. Giving him a small wave she made her way to a corner and took a seat. This was a good place to blend into the background or at least she hoped.

What an amazing space!
Harmony couldn't help but stop once she got into the Gymnasium and do a slow turn, taking everything in. There was a strong aura coming from this place, oh yes. Green. Leading to change. How lovely.
The red head's hair blew in the breeze provided by the cracked windows as she approached the small group already here, a small smile playing on her lips. "Hello, hello! Lovely day, isn't it!" And how nice, Jack was already in attendance! The creatures lover sidled up to him and smiled. "Glad you saw the notice about this. I'm sure it'll be worth your while."
Training. That was something Kennedy wouldn't pass up. It was better than staying underground where it was all stuffy and closed in. Arriving at the gymnasium green eyes scanned the place. There were remnants of it being a basketball court once. There was no basketball though.
His gaze didn't linger there, instead it traveled about the room. Seizing up the competition. Yep. One could never be too sure who was going to be an ally or not. Or a ninja. In that case, hex all those suckers.
"Good day, everyone," said Kennedy, walking further in, he greeting the man at the front, as well as the rest. Maybe this training would be an all-on-your-own type of thing?

He then went to stand next to Simon, the only DMLE'er here at the moment. "Hey, Simon," 'Sup man. "How's your commute been?" Since, y'know, the Ministry seemed to be spread out everywhere.

Another day, another training. This one should be super interesting though, because it was about like Muggles and stuff, and William only knew a little about Muggles and their Muggle spy objects.
He wandered into the appointed gymnasium, looking around at the ruin in wondor, and came to a stop near the front by João. Oop, better not stand too close to him cuz he didn't wanna look suspicious heh. They didn't even know each other. Pfft. He did give him a subtle nod though, of recognition.
His eyes then drifted from the blonde Minister's Office employee over to the guy leading this thing. WAIT, OLIVER?! Jenkins?! Oliver JENKINS was leading this?! Who had made the mistake of putting HIM in charge?!! HAHA! THIS SHOULD BE GOOD!
"SUP, bro!?" he greeted his bud with a step forward and a hand out for their traditional bro-hug. Er, he wouldn't pretend not to know his BFF now that he was all high and mighty powerful, would he? William's grin faltered slightly as his hand still hung there for a five.

Sweet Circe, this room was even worse. And she thought her airplane hangar was bad. Mariel gingerly walked through the gymnasium, careful not to step on any rubbish or catch her heels in any cracks. She tried very hard to hide the disdain from her face but it was growing more difficult and the small smile on her lips was all but faded. There were a few people assembled here and she began to make her way over to them as green eyes fell on the man standing front and center. She would assume that he was the person leading this training.. Jenkins, she was fairly sure his name was. What was he wearing though? As she told her own employees, just because they worked in squalor didn't mean they all had to dress like it. They were still Ministry employees. And it was clear he didn't work for her. Those couldn't even be described as stylish jeans but.. dungarees. Merlin.
Still, she could be pleasant. The brunette gave Jenkins a polite smile and nod as she neared. "Good afternoon," she greeted him before heading over to the group of Ministry workers to await the training. Green eyes fell next on an MLE person she had met not long ago. "Hi Simon," she said a little more cheerfully, seeing someone she was at least acquainted with. Of course the night surrounding their meeting was not her favorite so she left that unmentioned. "Nice digs, yeah?" she said with the hint of a grin, trying to find a little humor in the situation. Of course she heard that his department was underground.. at least G&S had a lot of sunlight.
As Simon was talking to another guy, Mariel glanced past him to see Victoria and she gave her a smile. She was glad to see someone from her own department - it was a little hard for her to call her one of her employees - and she wondered if anyone else would be showing up. They knew it was mandatory, right? She took a few steps towards her, then stopped, frowning a little. What was she sitting on? Yeah.. Mariel was going to stay standing. Those seats looked absolutely filthy and had leaves on them. One might think that the department knew they were having visitors and could have cleaned up the place a bit... but she supposed it went with the rest of the decor. "Hey Vic," she greeted her friend, smiling a bit bigger now.. though she did not sit down. "Glad you made it." Hopefully this wouldn't be too long and maybe they could ride the bus home together. Did she tell her employees they could take off early after the training if they showed up? It'd be a small but nice reward after all their hard work all week.

Was she in the right place? Looked so, since she saw some familiar faces in this rather cluttered gymnasium. January kept her hands tucked in his jacket pockets as she walked in, taking in the sight of the room. Seeing her department head, January gave the woman a nod.
Soon distracted by a familiar face, January followed the sound and saw William greeting someone. And not just someone, but Oliver Jenkins. Was he running this thing? She considered the thought and made her way over to the two "bro's" and cleared her throat to make her presence known as she stepped up from behind William. "Afternoon, gentlemen." Long time no talk, Oliver. Hmhmm. This would be fun.

So. This was interesting.
Could have been cleaned up and used as something cool. It was a decent enough space, but nope. They were leaving it in ruins and shoving employees in here for mandatory training. Training. HUZZAH! Training meant people, and ministry wide meant NEW PEOPLE that she hadn't MET yet. Brad did say she had to make friends with new people.
Haley rocked back and forth on her heels as she loitered around, not necessarily approaching anyone.

This was compulsory right? But also, he was getting paid to be here, yes? Rusty found a spot near the back and just waited. Near the back was good, by the door so he could leave if there was an emergency that he was needed for... or if the place collapsed and all. Safety first.
Now... was there anyone to chat to, to pass the time until things got started? The Obliviator looked around hopefully and threw a few smiles here and there.

When his boss had said that he had a job for him to do, he had never expected that he would be heading up a training programme for the other departments. To say he was stoked at the opportunity would be an understatement and the grin on his face as he waited for the employees to arrive showed just how much he was going to enjoy this.
He knew how to be a muggle, and it clearly showed as he drove his sports car to the meeting place just to show he was different from the wizards that required this training. And here was the first arrival. Oliver watched as the guy made his way into the room and it took him a moment before he recognised the former Hogwarts student. And haha, he was still calling him 'Sir.' He could so get used to that.
"Hello João."

Merlin! These MLE guys were certainly a cautious lot, weren't they? Oliver nodded his head at the newcomer. "Good day to you too." This would be fun watching how well these Auror's go at the training.

Well here was someone who looked as though they were excited about this training. "Nice to finally see some enthusiasm." Ollie flashed the guy a grin.

And there was Derek and as usual he looked like he had just eaten a lemon. The man never looked happy. Well, he never looked happy outside of his lab. Maybe the guy should think about a mobile lab, that way he would never have to leave it. Hehe.
"Derek." He greeted the man with a solemn nod of his head.

FINALLY!!
A female!
Oliver was starting to get worried that he was going to have to entertain only men and that would be no fun at all. He had to have something pretty to look at and this young lady was was certainly pretty. "You are indeed. I hope you enjoy the training."

There was always one every crowd, wasn't there. Oliver watched the woman make her way into the room with a look of disgust on her face and ridiculous high heels on her feet.
He clicked his tongue with impatience and disapproval. "You do realise that you will be doing a number of activities today? Those shoes are inappropriate." So like take them off.

Ahh here he was! Oliver was wondering whether his BFF would come down for this training. He grinned broadly and grabbed hold of his friend's hand and pulled him in and gave him a slap on the back with his other hand. "How have you been brother?" It was good seeing William here, it made him feel better. More calmer.

He seemed to have this problem that every time he got close to a woman, he would freak out and stop calling them. He needed help. "Hello January. You're looking good."

Even though he was feeling rather uncomfortable with January standing right there, Oliver still noticed when another woman walked into the room. What, he was supposed to be greeting all the employees.
Not his fault they were attractive.
"Hello." He greeted the woman, giving her a small wave.
"Thanks for coming everyone. We'll give it a few more minutes for others to arrive before we start." If there were going to be others that is.
Ugh, why did this silly training program have to mandatory? Jade thought to herself as she wandered from the general work area of the navel school to the Gymnasium. At least it was being hold at the new A&C location so she didn't have to go extremely far.
When she arrived, she saw that there were a bunch of people there including Derek. Perhaps for the first time in her time at A&C and knowing Derek, Jade felt that she totally sympathized with him. HE always seemed to hate to do anything besides his lab work and now she was stuck doing this training program.
She mumbled a general "hello" to everyone as she headed to where Derek was.
"Remind me why we have to do this?" She whispered to him as Oliver spoke to the others.

Bradley couldn't believe they had to do this training thing, but rules were rules. And he didn't want to lose his fancy job. He heard someone speaking as he neared the room, having just come from the office and was almost positive he was late. Then he heard the man's words. Oh good. They were waiting.
Brad entered the room and smiled before doing a quick scan of the room. He spotted and Haley and snuck up next to her. "Hey Hales."

As Charles entered the... wait? Was this even a room? It looked like the aftermath of an explosion. He looked around the room with disgust showing clearly on his face. He approached the group of people as he picked some greenery from his shoulder. "How does anyone work here?!" Maybe he'd ask Tasha, she was more familiar with the kind of conditions he was accustomed to - especially at his age. His eyes lifted to the broken windows. "I suppose you're going to say I should be thankful it's not raining?" He looked back to the rubble, wondering if he could volunteer Gidyun to clear it away manually.

To show his support for Miss Browne and...the gorgeous Accidents & Catastrophes Head, Anthony was here. Promptly, too. It'd been troublesome, of course...since they'd needed to travel via muggle means (which only served in reminding him that he loathed muggle public transportation)! All jokes aside, it had to be the saddest environment known to man. Anthony had spent a majority of it avoiding gazes; something that was much more appropriate than the scowl he'd wanted to toss out.
Adjusting the badge he'd just been given at reception, he slowly strode into the gymnasium, removing his fedora in the process. The group already gathered was nice sized and he felt momentarily pleased at their impending success. Kudos to these two....But also, who was this Oliver Jenkins he'd been hearing so much about? Oliver Jenkins had been listed on the announcement along with his fellow department heads. So, naturally, Anthony was curious. He tried to pick the man out of the crowd, but in his searching, he'd spied a familiar face and paused. He was chuckling, too.
Yes, it was Mrs. Sassy-Blonde-Pants from Games. Victoria, her name was. Noting that she wasn't alone (and disregarding it in the next moment), he moved closer, casually swinging his arm up and over her shoulder. Yes, it had only been allowed to rest for a moment; just long enough for him to semi-hug her in greeting before then falling away. "Mrs. Victoria. Nice to see you again."
...And her cohort...Well, she's wasn't really a cohort at all. Anthony tilted his head to address the woman kindly; her face also familiar. "You recently took over Games, yes? It's Mariel...?" He was grinning because he knew this was exactly the case. "My name's Anthony Cresswell, Department of Specialties head."...His hand casually hovered out towards hers to shake.

Right so he was in the right place, yes? Yes. Jasper entered cautiously after getting his pass and saw that it was actually a pretty fair turn-out, though he seemed to be the only one from Mysteries to show. At least, so far.
He hugged the wall a bit as he drew deeper into the gymnasium. There were at least a few familiar faces there such as Miss Pennifold who he'd met in the atrium when he'd first gotten hired at the Ministry and of course Miss Jarvey who it looked like was having a word with one of the other Ministry Employers, or the other way around? Anyway, waves for Miss Jarvey. Hiii!

This place was very interesting. Ashby didn't know if his ship was any better than this area. But it would do. It was only training after all. And they probably could do with some muggle evasion training. His department was in a big ship on the Thames. So there would be lots of muggles around on the river, so they really needed to not attract any of their attention. As he wandered into the gymnasium, he was hoping that his employees would be coming along. It was kind of important. And they didn't have too many members, so it would be really good if as many as possible could attend.
"Hello..." The Department head smiled, noww. Where were his employees?

Make room for this working-out crazy, brawny Auror. When Josh walked in the Gymnasium after visiting the reception, he had a pleased smile on his face as he knew he was going to enjoy this. Once he stepped inside, Josh eyed the guy standing in the middle of the room. Oh...so, he supposed, it was this guy's guidance he was going to follow. "Hello." he said kindly as he walked past him and looked around to see who else was participating.
People from...other departments, surely enough. Aha!! Was that Joao? Josh looked carefully towards the guy as a smirk appeared on his face. It really was Joao, this was going to fun. It was going to be fun to watch this struggle in this training. On the other hand, he did not know what kind of activities was going to take part in this exercising event so he might not struggle at all. That he was going to watch closely and see.
Then there was Simon and one of his YATIs. Walking idly, hands in pockets, Josh approached them gave them a nod as a greeting before talking his place beside them. He eyes Escalante a bit. He was going to observe the YATIs performance. After all, Aurors was supposed to be much more physically capable than any other employees in the Ministry in the Auror's idea. If that was not the case, right now, he was going to make sure they all get enough painful exercising experience.
~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.
Jory was looking forward to this. Yep, he was! He thought he would have been early but upon reaching the gymnasium, he was surprised to see quite a few persons had already arrived. He stood at the entrance looking for MLEers. Scanning the room, he saw familiar faces whom he knew only by sight and some that were not so familiar.
The first person he spotted whom he knew and from his department was Simon. Jory moved in the Auror's direction. There was another YATI with him and so was Josh. He reached them just in time to hear Josh's question. "Definitely,'' the second year YATI chimed in to answer it. "Hey, guys.''
Tasha made the short walk over to the gymnasium for the training session. Heading inside the blond just shook her head in disgust and disappointment. This room looked even worse than the room used for meetings and that was saying a lot.
Being glad she wore sneakers and not heel's Tasha treaded carefully over the rubble and garbage towards her friend whom she had picked out amongst the people milling about. "Hey Charles," she chirped in a surprised and a somewhat happy tone. "Looking forward to the training session?" Up front she saw Oliver getting ready and she had also spotted Jade, Derek, Rusty and Simon amongst the people in the room.
Maybe training wouldn't be so bad after all even if this was a dreadful room to hold it in.

Finally looking away from the rubble and his fantasy of making Gidyun actually do some work for once, Charles looked up at Tasha. "Hello Natasha," His voice made it clear he wasn't happy to be here, but he was glad she was there now. It somehow made this a little more bearable. "Not particularly. I was sent here by Gidyun." he explained, frowning. "How do you get any work done in these conditions?" he asked, gesturing to the room. "I am absolutely appalled." Maybe he'd take a complaint to the Minster's offices...
