Louisa laughed. "Unfortunately, we all do. Severus is always embarassed, or angry. He doesn't like change much." She paused. "Hadn't we get changed then? I don't want to turn up like this." She said indicating her 'torn at the knee' jeans and sweater. She grabbed her bag once more, and pulled out, what looked like a small fleck of dirt, but with a flick of her wand, she was holding her school uniform. "Shrinking spell. My sister taught me it when I was staying with her this summer."

"So, we have decided to accompany you, Snivell." He grinned at him. "Don't worry. We won't stay for long. I have somebody to see myself." He said, Lily in his mind. He had to go and see her too. If he had to make her like him, he had to start early and he also had to find the food trolly for both his and Sirius' sake. He was starving. "And if you want to read through textbooks so you can remain being the teacher's pet like every year, we won't disturb you." He nodded.

Lily was relieved to see that Remus had returned to report that nothing had happened. Her shoulders had tensed and she had tightened her hand around her wand when it was mentioned their wands had come out. That was something she always had to, and could put a stop to, no matter how talented Sirius, James and Snape were with their wands. And also she had to make sure no people who weren't involved got hurt.

She sighed and leaned back against the seat, stretching her feet across to the bench opposite. She looked out the window and was glad to see the sky darkening and the landscape becomming more ruggid, they would be there within the next couple of hours.

Remus looked towards the door. He couldn't help but wonder what the twos plans really were. Then again, he was sure he was right about what he said. After all, he knew them.

"I s'pose you are right then." He said and without another word walked out and back to the his own cabin he shared with the boys. Wanting to change also, he picked out his school uniform from his luggage and put it on. Ahh.. this feels about right. He thought to himself as he sat down on the seat, leaning against the window. He then pressed his forehead against the coolness of the window and stared out.
Figuring Louisa would need time to change, he closed his eyes and relaxed, feeling quite comfortable at that moment.

Louisa quickly changed into her uniform in a nearby bathroom before returning to her cabin. She noticed Remus had gone and felt almost sad for a moment. Then she realised that Lily was still in the room.

"Hey Lil, sorry about that, I didn't mean to leave you out or anything. Are you okay?"

Lily looked up from her reverie as Louisa spoke to her.
"What? O yes I'm fine, just thinking." she said with a smile, not realizing she had been left alone in the compartment.
"I wonder how close we are, I hope we get there soon, its getting rather dark out." she said, shifting her position for her feet had fallen asleep and gone numb.

Peter shuffled into the compartment after Remus and sat down, glad to have escaped any dueling or fighting on the train."

Remus could hear that someone had entered the cabin. When he opened his eyes he say Peter. "Come back to get changed?" He asked, even though he knew that wasn't the reason he'd come back originally.

Snape`s lips fell into an ugly grimace. "I quite like being alone, you see," he said quietly, "So I really think you should leave." Snape eyed Sirius with open contempt. The filthy blood traitor. "Do you honestly want to know, Sirius?" he asked, spitting out the name as if even speaking made him want to be sick. "I know curses that will make your worst nightmares seem like walks in a park," Snape said malevolently. "If you want me to use them on you, by all means, stay."
Severus held on to his wand so tightly that several blue sparks flew out of it. He could not wait for them to give him a reason to use the spell that he had created. Oh, Severus Snape was ready.

Sloane was absolutely appalled at the way Snape spoke to her and her friends. He really had a lot of nerve. He acted as if they had come to make his life a nightmare…when all they had done so far was say hello.

About to speak Sloane stopped when she heard James. Surely he would put the slimy snake in his place.

“I sure wouldn’t want Severus as a pet. And I’m sure the Professors at school feel the same way." looking over at Snape she smiled, "No offense Sevey."

Looking down at her watch Sloane sat up and looked at both James and Sirius, "Well this has been utterly boring. I say we leave. I'm sure Snape here wants to read his potions book for the umpteenth time.”

Sloane let out a laugh at Snape's threats. He really was quite funny. "Hmm...You really are full of yourself aren't you Severus? I'm sure you're all talk. I mean the only thing that frightens me is your sense of hygiene." she gave him a look of disgust as she glanced at his hair.

Peter nodded and quickly pulled on his robes. Of course that had only been half the reason, James and Sirius he often found intimidating, and when they went to bother Snape, Peter usually just backed away. Although he loved and longed for the power and attitude they showed, he knew that he could never be like that. Perhaps that was why he chose to associate with such strong friends, they made up for his weaknesses.

The scenery slowly began to change from farmland to that of rocks and mountains. The sky darkened so all that you could see was the outline of the far mountains, illuminated by the bright moon. The lights from the compartments cast eery shadows and shapes on the ground below. Lily awoke from her reverie and looked around, seeing the bright lights of Hogwarts in the distance. She stood up and stretched, glad that they were finally there. She headed out into the corridor to get the first years ready just as the train started to slow...

Auther looked at Molly and just smiled. He was in love absoult love with her and wanted nothing more then to spend the rest of his life with her. "So how was your summer?" he asked trying to make small take.

Molly looked at Auther for a moment. "It was fine, I really can't complain about it." she smiled. She glanced out the window before looking back at Auther "How was you summer?" she asked.

Louisa didn't reply to Lily, choosing to stare out of the window instead. Without realising it, she fell asleep, only waking when the trained came to a halt. She yawned and stretched, Good to be home. She thought. She moved slowly through the throngs of students, glad to breath fresh air. She went in search of the others, one in particular.

Sirius was more than willing to see exactly what type of illegal spells Severus had learned from his latest textbooks. His wand at the ready, there was no mistaking his expression. His eyes were no longer glinting merrily, but bore a malicious hue; Snape should have known better than to challenge him. He might have been a Gryffindor, but he was also a Black; and Blacks were known for their dangerous temper.

"Don't mind if I do, Snivelly. I'm dying to find out what colour your underwear is these days," Sirius laughed bitterly, the memory of their last confrontation still fresh. "Pity the train's stopping; you really made me curious," he said as he got up leisurely, extending an arm to help Sloane up.

"But don't you feel sorry, Snivellus. We'll find you..." he added cryptically, and with a loud bang, he was out of the compartment.

"And we still haven't found that trolley lady, the old hag. We'll just have to wait for the feast," Sirius told James morosely, as they regained their natural swagger.

"Sirius!" Lily said warningly to him. "Put the wands away and no more talk to dueling while on this train. You'd better hurry up and get changed we are almost as Hogsmade." she said, noticing that they both has failed to bother tucking in their shirts or tidying themselves up at all.
She turned and headed past James, but was pushed slightly against him by a throng of first years eager to get off the train, she stumbled slightly into him before righting herself.
"Oh...uh...sorry James." she said awkwardly, not making eye contact.
She quickly headed past him not wanting the situation to be any more awkward.

Ally had been asleep all this time. When she woke up, she saw the silhouette of Hogsmeade station through the dark.
She just now noticed that she wasn't dressed in her uniform, either. Quickly snatching her wand, she flicked it and was now wearing the Hogwarts uniform skirt and white bluse. Ally rolled the sleeves up half way as a persobnal touch. She quickly made sure that her auburn curls were looking their best and added a touch of red lipstick to her full lips. Now she looked acceptable. She scooped up Angelica with great care and began to drag her heavy trunk out of the compartment. God, it was even heavier than usual. Ally looked around for Lily or Louisa, but they were nowhere to be found.
She saw the exit door. Ally grunted under thw weight and gave the trunk another pull. On the threshold of the train, Ally suddenly lost her grip on the handle and she and the trunk went out of the train with a huge tumble. Ally shrieked loudly as she fell and landed on the concrete below. She felt her knees scratch the pavement. Ally moaned as her head hit the ground next. Dazed, she just lay there trying to get the stars out of her eyes.

Lily was in the middle of helping first years off the train when she heard Ally shreak, after all, she was her best friend and she knew her voice, even from a distance.
She quickly pulled the last first year off the train and pointed to the docks.
"Go over there and wait for the groundskeeper to put you in the boats." she called over her shoulder as she sprinted back to where she had heard Ally scream. Her long red hair whipped out behind her, her long slender legs coverning the distance quickly. She saw Ally's crumpled body on the pavement, half under her heavy trunk. She felt something dodge past her and looked back over her shoulder to see Angelica sneaking off through the crowd. She sent a well aimed spell back at the cat, muttering accio Angelica under her breath. The cat howled as it came rushing through the air and landed softly in Lily's arms.
"Nice try." she said to the cat just as she reached Ally's side.
She set Angelica down and with some difficulty, pulled the huge trunk off of her friend.
"Are you okay? What happened?" she said quietly, not wanting to startle her.

In the midst of dizziness and color flashing before her eyes, Ally heard a voice that sounded like Lily's. She tried to move, but every inch off her was hurting....painfully.
She heard Angelica howl and Lily asking what was wrong. It was all very foggy and painful. Ally tried to speak, and only managed a few syllables, "Slipped off train, heavy trunk," she muttered before falling unconscious.

"Yes, mother..." Sirius replied teasingly, as Lily's voice was heard. "I'll behave," he added with a grin that obviously conveyed the exact opposite. The image of the Great Hall, alight and filled with heaps of food, was all too tempting.

Hands in pockets, Sirius jumped out of the train, happy to be outside again. His trunk had been left to one of his younger minions to carry along, and the school robes he was wearing had a careless attitude about them. Just as he was about to start shouting for Remus and Peter, Sirius' sharp sight noticed the silhouette of a girl fallen to the ground. As he drew nearer, he realized it was Ally.

Thoughts of her earlier behaviour sprang to mind, but reluctant or not, Sirius was still rather worried. He looked at Lily with a questioning glance, then paused for a while before helping Ally up. She didn’t seem to register that he was there, either way. "Are you ok?" he asked rather softly, waiting to see if she’d react in any way.

Ally must have not been unconscious that long becuase when her eyelids fluttered open, she was still in the same spot as where she had fallen. Only now, Sirius was there. Wait, Sirius? Ally groaned in pain. She was still a bit dizzy and now her head was added to the list of things that were hurting her. "No," she gasped and closed her eyes again, this time not passing out, but rather being too weak to keep her eyes open any longer.
