Nate strolled back into the MLES office and was taken aback to find even more people in here! He was too tired to even acknowledge them so slipped quietly back to his own desk in the dark corner, sank into his chair and rubbed his tired eyes. He felt dreadful after that short kip in the break room. He looked over at Nicoli who was still tied up with the woman from Education… and another woman now. And Apha and Amelia were busy chatting. He gave them the best smile he could muster despite his current grogginess.

In the time it took for the young woman to arrive, Nicoli had let things get a little out of hand with the others. It seemed, though, that the woman who had come in a little earlier, had in fact been one of his employees. She is so welcome, he thought without the slightest note of sarcasm. She will indeed, by the looks of it, be a good addition to the somewhat odd team. To his surprise, Nathan up and left the room. He couldn't be blamed, however, Nicoli may have done the same thing if given a chance. Despite this, he had to tend to the Magical Education woman before anything else.

Nicoli stood up and offered the woman, who seemed to be the other head's guest or companion, a seat at his desk, which only seconds before had not been in existence. Perhaps now he would be told what was happening?

Steven walked into the office. He was new to the ministry and was suprised to see this many people here. He found his desk, put his things down and sat down. On the desk was a plague which had "Steven Westaway" on it . He then exaimed the other people in the office..

Nathan noticed yet another man make his way into the MLES office and sit down at a desk without acknowledging anyone in the room. He was beginning to wonder how many more people could fit in here before the walls came crumbling down.

He studied the man for a while. Maybe he was feeling the say way as Nate and had got wind of how comfortable the MLES office was from Angelina from the Minister’s office… hmm... maybe not. He glanced around at his colleagues wondering whether anyone was going to question him, but it appeared they were all still pretty busy with other things. He looked back over at the man and straightened up in his seat. “Can I help you, mate?” he asked.

" Yeah its my 1st day on the job" Steven said releived to have someone to talk to. " I have no assingments yet, can I help you? My Names Steven Westaway, by the way".

“Oh, another recruit?” Nathan replied. His mood brightening considerably. More staff for the MLES? This was very good news indeed. First Apha and now Steven. He extended his hand in welcoming towards the new man, detecting a slight Australian accent? .. or was it Kiwi? “Nathan Greenwood. Welcome aboard.” He was confused by the man’s question. Did Nathan look in need of help? Quite possibly, but that wasn’t the point.

He gestured to his colleagues. “That’s Nicoli over there, our Head of Department. And those two lovely young ladies are Amelia and Apha.” – he nodded in their direction. “Nicoli is just dealing with a couple of issues. He shouldn’t be long.” He sat back in his chair again and relaxed. “Where are you from, mate?” he asked, unable to quite pinpoint the accent.

"Australia" Steven said happily, it was nice to feel welcomed. " Moved to England when I was a kid".

Steven decected that Nathen, while being nice and welcoming, also felt tired, like his energy was being slipped away.

"Are you alright?" Steven said, trying not to sound rude.

“Ah… amazing country.” Nathan grinned broadly. “Such friendly people. I used to date an Aussie girl.” Or was, in fact, engaged to her for almost three years - his first true love. “Where abouts in Australia?” he asked the man with interest.

Nathan blinked at Steven’s question. It was the first time anyone had asked him this all day. The exhaustion was obviously showing on his face. “I’m fine.” He replied with a shrug of the shoulders. “Just a little tired.” He gave the man a smile and a nod to let him know he appreciated the gesture. “Are you alright?”

" I lived on the south coast of New South Wales" Steven said, suprised at the mans kindness. Steven Blurted Out His thoughts. " Your the first person who has even notice me.Not to sound rude but does everyone in the ministry have the weight of the world on their shoulders?". Steven looked at the man. He looked like could faint at any moment.

“I spent about a year in Sydney a while back.” Australia was the most amazing country and the women were something else. He smiled fondly at the memory, "Would have stayed, but for personal reasons I had to return here" – lack of funds and an angry girlfriend. The two things just didn’t mix, and Nathan could not cope with conflict, so had to get away. London seemed as good a place as any. And he did love it here now.

He chuckled lightly at Steven’s words, “I wouldn’t worry about them. Everyone’s too busy to bother with each other. I think the Minister’s wedding is keeping a lot of the departments on their toes. He’s a hard man to please, I’ve heard, and it makes people a little twitchy. I’m sure it’s nothing personal against you.”

He smiled reassuringly at the man. He was younger than Nathan, but not by much. It was always hard being new to a job, especially when everyone around you kept themselves to themselves. Nathan liked to make an all out effort to get to know each and every one of his colleagues. After all, they would have to see each other almost every day for a long time. It was good to be friends with those you spent most of your time with. “Have you worked in Law before?” he asked Steven. This was like Déjà vu.

Samantha smiled weakly. "Nice to meet you," she said. "I'm Samantha Rose, I'm the Head of Magical Education. Happily, it seems the situation with students turning into animals is finally reaching a conclusion, an antidote has been found and all the animals have not been transformed back into their original student form." She smiled more happily at this. "Of course, we still have the matter of finding out who perpetrated this horrible crime to begin with, and I do realize that that is the job of your department. However, the situation which Cloe here came to me to talk about was another student at Hogwarts, a student who has had her parents killed and is now receiving threats on her own life.

"You can see why I am referring this matter to your department, this is really out of my jurisdiction," Samantha concluded.

Forrester entered the MLES office and walked towards Nathan before noticing Samantha Rose, the head department of Magical education. He moved towards her.
"Hello Miss Rose... Im sorry maybe you don't know me but I'm Mr. Forrester Hufflepuff, Auror Head division, can I ask you what are you doing in our department?" Forrester asked intrigued.

"It's very nice to meet you, Mr. Hufflepuff," Samantha said, reaching her hand out. "I have come here on behalf of a very disturbing case I have received notice of, involving a student at Hogwarts. Her parents have both been killed, and now the girl's life is being threatened, as well."

Samantha again reiterated the conversation she had had with the young woman, Cloe, in her office.

"Now, of course, this kind of situation is outside of my jurisdiction, so therefore I am referring this situation into the very capable hands of this department."

"Hmmm I see... I guess we should skip the introductions... Nathan" Forrester called as he looked at the young MLES officer. "Please Nathan come here..."

Nathan was a little taken aback when Forrester asked to speak to him. His mind started racing, trying to think of what he had possibly done wrong. Maybe it was sneaking back here after the warehouse mission. He gulped and stood up, glancing at Steven and then at Nicoli, trying to hide his sudden internal panic, and made his way over to Forrester. “Sir?” he asked, unsure of what this was about.

"Nathan where is your head division? Where is Nicoli?" Forrester asked at an unsure Nathan.

Nathan inwardly breathed a sigh of relief. “Oh, he’s right there.” Nathan pointed over towards Nicoli who was sitting at his desk. He was still busy talking to the two women from the Department of Education. It was pretty crowded in this office at the moment and Nicoli was obscured by the people around him. He gave Forrester a smile. “Is there anything else, sir?” he asked.

"Nathan I guess you better come with me and write everything you hear..."Forrester ordere... "It's important that you do" Forrester continued as he moved towards Nicoli.
"So whatd do you think Nicoli?"Forrester asked as he looked at Nicoli

Nathan gulped again and gave Nicoli a look wondering whether it was ok that he went with Forrester. Nicoli was Nathan’s Head of Department after all, and they seemed to be getting a lot of work in at the moment. And writing stuff down? Did Nathan look like a secretary? Oh, dear… but he wasn’t about to argue. He nodded at Forrester, “Alright. Lead the way.” He replied.

"Very well Nathan... I was always a fund of you... You will arrive to places I tell you that... You have a great employee Nicoli..." Forrester revealed as he conjured a quill for Nathan and waited for Nicoli to give his opinion on the problem they were dealing with.

Nathan nodded and smiled slightly at the man’s words. It was nice to have praise from a respectable man like Forrester. He took the quill and parchment and awaited further instruction. Hopefully they would be able to read his abysmal handwriting.

Steven waved goodbye to Nathen and tgen waited for the head boss of the department.

Nicoli's gaze followed yet another wizard that also appeared to be new at the job. It was definitely promising. At this rate, he could send out the others while he got everything together. And better than that, on different cases. Brilliant!

He tilted his head in what he hoped was a friendly way when she told him her name. Wonder if she prefers first name's or surnames? "Well that's brilliant news!" he said glad that at least the students were back to normal. "I may have to follow you up on the culprit's captures later on," he commented. Now, at least, he had the workforce in which to do so. Nicoli's mood dropped steadily as he listened to the case Ms.Rose had brought to his attention.

Nicoli watched as the little conversation took place, he said nothing, instead he thought deeply of what is to be done. Though this was a serious case the thought couldn't help but flick across his mind, Just like Forrester to poke his nose back into my business.

At this point, it was unclear what Forrester was actually planning on doing. Perhaps it was foolish of him to voice his concerns, but he felt the urgent need to be in the loop. "Forrester," he said quietly. "Slow down. What is it that you are planning to do? Who are you going to question?" It did sound less than professional to not know what his counter-part was thinking of doing, but it was professional, at least he believed it was, to be absolutely sure.

"I think we must talk to both Chloe, and this Rosalina. If anything, this maybe a dark wizard or even a maniac killer, in which case, Miss Rosalina must be given a certain amount of protection." He thought for a moment longer, "Do we know the history of Rosalina's parent's occupations at least? Does Chloe know? Would Miss Rosalina know anything that might help?" Questions, questions. It was absolutely necessary to know everything that there is to know. Everything. At the moment, Chloe should have to be able to answer some of the questions. Where was she anyway? She's a Hogwarts student, right? It was likely that he couldn't see her because of all the people now crowded around the desk. Even with his increased number of employees, he was disorganized. Brillaint leader I am.

" Excuse Me" Steven said to Nicoli. " It's just, I heard your the boss and I'm new so I'm wonderimg where to start" said Steven, curious to see how the man would answer.

Forrester looked down at Nicoli that was still sitting on his chair as he asked him a couple a question.Who said anything about questionning I just want Nathan to write everything down...Good Job Nicoli!! Forrester thought in a sacastic way.
"Well if miss Rosalina needs protection... I guess I will have to interfer now... I will assign an auror or two to the case... I guess your division Nicoli needs to start some investigations around miss Rosalina and Chloe and there parents past don't you think? And we must contact Syd... I will inform him myself on the case... I will even post an assignment on the board but with the case of the computers we are again down on some employee... I have two new interns I will put right now on the case also I'm... Well it doesn't matter now... Miss Rose can we get to talk with those two girls... Can we have them here... I mean this year at Hogwarts just ended... We can get those girls here right?" Forrester started to say as he took a piece of the quill he had conjured for Nathan and wrote something in it, then gave it a tap and watched fly towards it's destination (Syd's office).
"Nicoli what do you think?"
