"This wand is nine and a half inches of robust cherry, with a core of unicorn hair." A very beautiful wood, highly prize, and surprisingly lethal - depending, of course, on the witch or wizard who wielded it. No bad wands, et cetera, et cetera. "An excellent wand for healing spells, binding spells, and divination, plus it has an affinity for the earth element and all relating to it. It's also said that the cherry wand helps to keep its bearer 'down to Earth' - this wand wood in particular requires those with self-control and a strong will, and so the wand does its part by helping to keep its wielder grounded." Given the power in that wood, matching them to eleven-year-olds could be something of a risk, but Zeke felt certain it was not have chosen this boy to wield it if he were not - or did not have the potential to be - capable, regardless of how quiet he was on the outside. In any case, the core did temper things somewhat. "Unicorn hair cores make for very faithful wands, and the magic they produce is very reliable; generally they don't make for the most powerful magic, but you may find the wood gives your spells all the oomph you could want. With this core, your wand is well suited to charms, transfigurations, and, again, healing magic."

Unable to keep his feelings to himself anymore, he told Drake during the first week of their return to Hogwarts as he was dreading to tell Bry he had fallen for the other guy as well. In the Topiary Garden {which happened to be the boys' fave spot as it represented them both - Flora for Drake, Fauna for Ary}, he told Drake how he felt which left his friend shocked but pleased. It was revealed that the feelings Ary expressed were mutual. Despite knowing this, he did not immediately ask Drake to be his boyfriend as he knew he needed to talk to Bry first. It took him about a week for him to work up the courage to admit to Bry that he was interested in her romantically as well as Drake. This went about as well as Ary imagined with there being a tantrum and tears on Bry's part, and loads of misery on his his part for hurting her. It was during the tantrum that Ary kissed her, mainly to get her to stop. It worked, though he left her immediately after as he was unable to watch her suffer. The two did not talk for about two weeks since Bry put some distance between them to process all Ary had admitted to her. Eventually she came around, and the two began to date officially. Only then, once Ary knew Bry had accepted his feelings for Drake as well, did he and Drake began dating too. {September}
2114 {turns 14 years} - Had Jan over at the Reserve for some summer fun; Bry indicated her interest in learning to become an Animagus which in turn led Ary to realise he would like to master the Patronus Charm. He confided this in Jan who also expressed an in learning the Charm. The two decided to ask Professor Khanna. {Summer} The DADA professor agreed to under the term that Ary and Jan would not interfere in their and Ean's romantic relationship. Calliope is a determined and sharply ambitious young witch, the kind of person who can’t not strive for excellence even when she pretends not to care. Born into opulence as the daughter of a globally recognized rock star and an effortlessly elegant supermodel, Calliope was raised in the glittering eye of the public. Paparazzi flashbulbs and high-profile parties were her version of normal, but she’s never been fully comfortable in that world... nor entirely disdainful of it either. She moves through privilege with practiced ease, knowing how to wear the mask, how to give just enough charm to pass, all while maintaining an emotional distance. Her poise is curated but not false or purposefully snobbish ― mostly. Calliope’s spoiled, yes, but not in the careless, tantrum-throwing sort of way. She's sharply aware of her own advantages and plays them like a well-tuned instrument. She knows how to leverage charm and pedigree when necessary, but she'll just as quickly turn her back on wealth if it compromises her sense of self-worth or agency. She’ll wear a thousand-galleon cloak and then sprint through mud just to prove she can. She’s got a point to make, always, and she is stubborn to prove it.
Fiercely independent, Calliope is driven by an inner fire that no one else can claim credit for. Despite the silver-spooned upbringing, she refuses to coast on her family name. If anything, it fuels her refusal to be underestimated. She’s the type who will over-prepare for an exam (of subjects she actually likes) just to prove she didn’t coast. The girl who trains harder than her peers not because she has to, but because she needs to know she earned it. She's quick to reject anything that feels like hand-holding or pity, and even quicker to recoil from unsolicited emotional exposure. Emotionally, Calliope is... complicated. She doesn’t do vulnerability in the traditional sense and physical affection is a near-foreign language outside of family. Hugs are tolerated (barely), hand-holding is bizarre, and talking about feelings earns you a flat look and a strategic subject change. But what she lacks in softness she makes up for in fierce loyalty. If you're lucky enough to earn her trust (and it does take time) you'll find yourself part of a small, tight-knit circle she protects like a dragon with its treasure. But with that loyalty comes high expectations. She believes in mutual respect, and anything that resembles betrayal or disloyalty (even if unintentional) is met with ice-cold detachment. Once the bridge burns, it's ash. Bye bye. And Calliope doesn't do forgiveness for free.
Animals are........... not her favorite. An understatement, truly. She doesn’t enjoy things that drool, shed, or require much maintenance. But birds fascinate her and jut maybe because their high-strung, clever, free-spirited selves remind her of herself. She’s especially drawn to ravens and hawks for reasons that are simply none of your business. Sometimes you may see her sitting quietly, hand outstretched, waiting for a feathered companion to perch. Calliope’s fondness for frogs and toads is unexpected, which is exactly why she allows it. In a world where image is everything (and she’s spent her whole life being perceived a certain way) frogs and toads represent a kind of rebellion against superficiality. They’re lumpy, unpredictable, and certainly not beautiful in a conventional sense, which makes her affection for them feel oddly intimate and personal. They are creatures that live in two worlds, water and land, and adapt to thrive in both. There’s something poetic about that duality that she relates to it deeply. Also? They don't need any cuddling. Big bonus.

Personality
Phoebe is best known for being highly sensitive- she is often told she is too sensitive, and she's sensitive about that too. She's a big worrier, and cares a lot about what other people think of her. At school, she prefers to mostly keep to herself, but she can usually be found in the greenhouses. Phoebe LOVES plants more than she loves anything, and plants are one of the few things that truly bring joy and peace to her usually gloomy expression. Phoebe is at her best when she's gardening, but she also really likes scrapbooking, jiu-jitsu, puzzles, cloudgazing, cello, and baking treats to share with her friends.
