Welcome students new and old! I am Professor Kiari Dyreth. Today we will be reviewing all you have learned about Transfiguration before we move on and tackle more advanced lessons.
For those of you who are new to Hogwarts we will help you get started in mastering this handy and often amusing wizarding skill. It will take hard work and concentration but I'm sure you will all do well in my class.
As for our returning students today's lesson will give me a chance to assess you skills and learn which areas of Transfiguration you have already covered.

Putting out parchment Sirius makes his notes and practices the incantations and movements with his left hand as he writing.
The small mouse, now silver, try to escape down the leg of the desk and realizing what is happening Sirius quickly grabs his wand transfigures it back into a goblet which falls to the ground and bangs.
"Sorry, my mouse was trying to escape," says Sirius picking up the goblet and deciding to let it in this form until he had finished his notes.

the charm to transform the animal to the goblet is (tap 3 times) "Ferriverto"

Lina, yes for the time being you may keep them. Be sure to take good care of them for I am very fond of these little beasts. And well done.
Not too worry, Sirius. I once tranfigured a gerbil when i was in school. She didnt' enjoy being turned into teacup. I hadn't done it properly and she still had legs. It took me an hour to corner her under a bookcase so i could reverse the spell.
Now then, We will move on to the Ferringerto Charm. This one is a bit more complex in the wand movement. Observe.
Turns back to her mouse, flicks her wand at his nose, then loops it down to tap it gently three times.
Ferringerto! Now see how he turns almost instantly into a pocketwatch? Very helpful for times when you're running late for class.
