Welcome students new and old! I am Professor Kiari Dyreth. Today we will be reviewing all you have learned about Transfiguration before we move on and tackle more advanced lessons.

For those of you who are new to Hogwarts we will help you get started in mastering this handy and often amusing wizarding skill. It will take hard work and concentration but I'm sure you will all do well in my class.

As for our returning students today's lesson will give me a chance to assess you skills and learn which areas of Transfiguration you have already covered.

Please take you seats and class will begin shortly.

*walks into the classroom*

Hello Proffesor! I am a 2nd year student but I didn't take transfiguration last term so I basically know nothing. But it sounds really interesting!

*sits down and pulls out her parchment and inkbottle*

*Walks in* "wow, second, I feel special!" Takes seat

"hello miss, how are you?"

Hello! You'll have to forgive me I'm so terrible with names at the beginning. I do hope you'll all enjoy my class. I'm a bit absent minded at times...although I probably shouldn't have mentioned that.

Walks over to her desk to review notes, shaking her head slightly and chuckling to herself

*Walks in*
"Hi professor"she sais to p. Dyreth
*She turns to look to the Ravenklaw girl*
"Hello, can I sit here with you?"she asks her

"This is only my second class, I hope it will be fun. Will we get a chance for points? Home work is the easest way to get points, I can't answer questions fast (everyone's faster at typeing than me)"

"Sure come sit with me!" Sakura says "i don't have any friends in any of my classes!"

"Thanks,I'm Vicky you?"she asks her

"Sakura!" Sakura replies. "Is this your first class?"

"Where's Vicky? Hope she comes back. Are we starting class soon? I hope more people come. If more people don't, will we continue anyway?" Sakura smiles, and takes out her stuff.

"Yes"she answers"will you go to potions too?"

*walks in and takes a seat*

Yes you will have a chance to earn points in my classes for homework, answering correctly and also for various skills we'll be performing here in class.

Hands out a paper to the student nearest her.

Now if you will all just put your names down, we will begin the lesson.

"Does anyone know if there are any more classes going on now? Is there going to end up being a schedule? I'd really like the get dates set so I don't miss them, because if this class is at this time next week, I can't go I have muggle school." Sakura shyly says.


"Thanks Vicky"

Carefully writes down her name on the paper and smiles at the other students.

Hello to all of you I haven't met before. I'm Lina by the way.

*walks in, takes a seat, signs paper*

"hi hi Lina! Nice to meet you and everyone else!"

Ok, everyone ready? Then we shall begin. I can see a few of you brought your animals with you. For those of you who didn't, I have a wide selection of fuury friends you may use during my classes.
Points to several large crates near her desk. Rats, mice, toads, gerbils and other small creatures scuffle around in them.

Please choose one or get your own out and we will start by transfiguring them into water goblets. Yes this was a lesson that was probably covered before but we will review it anyway.

Taking out her own small grey mouse she places it on her desk and uses a growth charm to increase his size.

Now can anyone tell me the proper incantation to use in transfiguring an animal into a water goblet?
