Needing to freshen up a little after a poor nights sleep, Paulina had decided to head off into the first bathroom she could find.

It was still hard for her to get the hang of this castle, but somehow or another she finally managed to find exactly what she needed. Maybe she really belonged in Hufflepuff after all, because they were supposed to be amazing finders. Or at least that was what she had heard a few people mention around the school.

Stepping over to the sink, she let the water run before splashing it against her face. It was cool, but not too cold as to make her feel gross.

She was sure that she was being talked about in the corridors and possible by her housemates but she didn't know anyone so she didn't give a damn...yet. Larissa came running into the girls bathroom. She could barely even see where she was going. She was just lucky that she had found a bathroom in this huge castle. Her hands covered her face and tears were stream out of her brown eyes and rolling down her cheeks. She felt herself bump into someone. She moved her hands and looked to see what or who she had bumped into. Her mascara was running down her face. "S-sorry." she said to the girl as her went into a stall and slammed the door shut.

Cinna needed a mirror, and she needed one now. Her hair had been a fizzy mess all day. Not that she cared, she wasn't trying to impress anyone here. But it was getting on her nerves. She'd just slip into the bathroom and pull it back. Lucky for her the girls bathroom was right around the corner from where she was.

Sliding into the bathroom, Cinna walked over in front of the mirror. She tossed her bag into the sink and started looking for a hair pull back. The seven year seen a new hufflepuff girl washing her face and her new dormmate, Larissa come in and slam the stalk door. Rude! She was so rude.

Where was this pull back? She always seem to have one in her bag, until she actually needed one. "Does anyone have a hair pullback I can borrow?" She said as she tried to smooth out the fizz with her hands. Ugh. She just wanted to pull it back and be done with it.

Paulina was about to turn off the faucet when someone bumped into her, sending her forward so that her sleeve got soaked.

Shutting the water off, Paulina heard crying from the stall that the other girl had slammed shut. This was the girl who had seemed unhappy at the start of term feast, and it appeared that things had not gotten any better. "You okay?" she asked while not being sure what to do. Barging in wasn't proper, so standing where she was made the most sense. She was probably dripping water all over the floor though.

Another girl walked in, and at least she wasn't crying. Paulina wasn't sure if she could help two crying people because she wasn't always the best at comforting. A hair tie she could provide though, so that was at least something. "Here you go," she said as she pulled an extra one out of her bag.

Larissa leaned against the stall door and couldn't get herself to stop crying. She felt horrible, she felt horrible for being here, she felt horrible for thinking some of the things that she had been thinking lately. Rissa just wished that everything would be better. Honestly she just wanted to go back home. She liked it at home, everything was loving and comfortable. Being here it just made her invisible and worthless.

She had no one to talk to about how she feels and she can't exactly owl her parents and her older siblings were a little busy having a life. She heard the girl that she had run into when she was making her way to the stall. Larissa didn't know how to react so she just stayed quiet and cried harder.

Angel had no idea why she had decided to pick this place, especially with it being so far away from Professor Flamsteeds office but she had thought it was a good idea at first, now though she wasn't so sure. She was still crying as she entered the bathroom and she had a feeling that some of the students had probably seen her and it wasn't a nice thought, she went over to a wall and just put her head on it whilst she waited for the former astronomy Professor to come into the bathroom, she wondered how long ago it was since the ghost Professor had taught at the school and why she didn't still teach, Professor Binns had when he was at school. Now though could she just curl up in here please? At least there were no boys around.

To say she was pleased with the decided location would be a lie and the dearly departed astronomy professor felt as though she were being compared to that dreary dear that was always wailing about something or another in here. SURELY the dormitories would have been more comfortable than the loo? Or was this the latest trend among the youth these days, having serious discussions in loos?

Gossiping toilets.

HO HO HO HOOOOOOOOOO what a chaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrming little notion. HO HO HO.

"Now now there, dear," Mario cooed softly as she glided closer to the young lady. "Don't hold those in. You let them aaaaaaaaaaaaaall out and tell Marion Burbage eeeeeeeeeverything."

Angel could feel the tears still coming out of her eyes as she listened to what the old Astronomy Professor was saying, she was going to let it all out well the tears but she wasn't going to let it all out, she would be too angry... but the Astronomy Professor wanted them all, so okay then if she wanted it all.

"WELL!!!!!!!!" Angel was crying her eyes out. "I feel in LOVE with such a handsome guy he was a couple of years older than me and I just love him soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much." Angel was getting angry. "We've been together since well forever, I feel in love with him the first time I saw him, it was a strange feeling." Angel paced up and down. "WELL I HAVE NO IDEA WHY I WAS SO STUPID AND FEEL IN LOVE WITH SUCH A!!" Angel had no idea what to call him, she was angry but sad at the same time.

"HE COULD HAVE SAID SOMETHING OVER THE SUMMER!! BUT HE DIDN'T, THEN ON THE TRAIN HERE!!" Angel was just about spitting fire out here. "He just DUMPED Me, It's like he!!! HE KNEW but decided not to tell me, INSTEAD I think HE spoke to other people." Angel was frustrated and wanted to smash something but she knew she would get in serious trouble. "He didn't ask me anything!" Angel had never felt so angry, sad, frustrated all in one, she continued to cry as she shouted.

Oh gooooooodness gracious HEAVENS ABOVE!

Oh to be young and feel love's keen sting. It only made Marion miss her dear Henry so.... To never be able to feel the warmth of his embrace again...

Becoming a bit misty eyed at the young woman plight, she floated even closer to her while avoiding any sort of contact so as not to give the poor dear a chill. "There there, sweet heart," she cooed softly. "I assume he was your first love, yes? Those are very special. VERY precious indeed. It is only natural for you to feel what you do. It does not take away any of your worth, dear. I can recall my schoolgirl days and when my heart was first broken, so I can only IMAGINE that you must be feeling like you're not worth very much or that you'll never have another boyfriend. But you listen to Marion and you listen well, I can tell you that bright, funny and kind. This is the person you were, are and will be the next time you fall in love."

The poor dears. Yes, dears. The young man must have felt siiiiiiiiiiiiimply AWFUL all summer thinking upon this very topic. It was no wonder that he had, perhaps, avoided the topic until he had no choice but to bring it up.

"Would you have rather he lied and faked a relationship, dear?" she asked sincerely, her ghostly eyes gently resting on the girl's tear stained cheeks. "Not been honest with you about how he felt and lied? I most sinceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerely hope your answer is no. You deserve to be in a relationship that is best for you. As does this boy. "

Janelle needed a good place to hide. Not really hide, but just a place to have a few moments of peace and quiet........preferably alone. Since her dorm room was far away and poobably occupied, she opted for the girls bathroom.

It had been a very crazy day, not necessarily bad, but she needed a break. Thankfully the hall was empty and Janelle opened the door to the bathroom, peeking inside as she entered. It seemed that no one was there, which was good. Nothing like a little alone time in the loo.

For some reason, the bathroom was Janelle's be alone and think room at home. So why not here? Taking her jacket off, she spread it on the floor and sat down. She tried not to think of how gross it was to be sitting on the bathroom floor. Making herself as comfortable as possible, Janelle began to think.

Angel had fallen over outside, she was glad that no one had seen her... She had been walking when she had tripped over and had got mud all over her... this was just so bad.

Angel ran into the room, hopefully no one would see all this mud on her or in her hair she turned around to look into the mirror when suddenly she saw something.

This was bad. "Hi Janelle!" Angel smiled as she realised who it was. "You okay?" Angel asked as she went over and sat down next to her friend, she didn't care that she was sat on the floor. She could look worse than she did at the minute.

Janelle was deep into her Professor Myers-like meditation. That was why she did not notice that someone had entered the bathroom. She was startled when she heard her name being called and jumped involuntarily. Janelle was surprised to see Angel sit down next to her.

"I'm fine. I just needed a little me time and this was as good a place as any. Are you OK?" That was the better question. She was covered in mud from head to toe. "What happened?" Janelle couldn't begin to guess. Mud bath? Mud fight? Mud pie making gone wrong? "Would you like me to Scourgify you?" Angel looked like she could use a hand in getting cleaned up.

Angel giggles as she looked at Janelle. "I'm fine." Angel was glad that her friend was okay as well, it would have been a shame to have to hug her looking like this. "Oh what happened." Angel giggled some more as she thought about what had happened.

"I tried to find out if I could fly." Angel was being truthful, it had felt like that. "But alas, it turns out that I can't." Angel then decided to tell the truth. "I was running and I slipped and fell straight into the mud that was there." Angel had totally found it funny at first until she had realised her hair was all messed up.

"How does my hair look?" Angel had a feeling that Janelle would tell her the truth right, even if it was really bad. "Oh yes please Janelle." Angel stood up, seriously using a spell would be a lot better than her first thought, saying that why hadn't she thought about using Aquamenti outside, now there was a question she wanted to know the answer to.

Janelle was relieved to know that Angel was fine. All was good then. She almost laughed when her friend said that she tried to fly........but that wouldn't be very sympathetic, would it? "That doesn't sound like it was much fun.", Janelle replied. Fortunately Angel was being a good sport about the whole thing.

How did her hair look? Well Angel had asked, so Janelle was going to give her opinion on the matter. "Honestly, it looks pretty bad. It's nothing that can't be fixed though." Taking out her wand, Janelle pointed it at her friend's hair and said, "Scourgify". Then she proceeded to clean off all of the mud. When she was finished, Janelle walked completely around Angel and made sure that she hadn't missed any spots. "There, no more bad hair day. It looks as good as new." Figuring that she might as well tackle the rest of the mud, Janelle cleaned Angel off all over. "What do you think?", she said when she was done.

Angel looked at Janelle and smiled. "You can laugh you know, I found it funny at first... that was until I landed." Angel was glad no one had seen it or she was sure someone would have taken a photo of it. Angel then watched as Janelle decided that she was going to scourgify her. How nice Janelle was. "This sort of reminds me of when we did the homework together." Angel said truthfully.

Angel tried not to laugh as Janelle scourgify her, it was really hard because it did tickle a little bit, but she managed it and soon her friend had finished. "Thanks Janelle, your a great friend." Angel would have hugged her but she decided against it. "And thanks for making my hair look better." Angel turned to Janelle. "Now anything I can do for you?"

When Angel said that it was OK for her to laugh, Janelle almost did. Fortunately, the moment passed. She was over it and able to focus on the task at hand. After Angel's comment, Janelle thought back to their partnership for Potions homework. "That was a lot of fun.", she replied. They had made a good team, but were definitely better people than they were cats.

Janelle shook her head when Angel said what a good friend she was. "Well i am a good friend", she said with a wink. "I was just doing what any friend would do. You would have done the same for me." Angel was so sweet. "You are welcome though. Actually you did something for me already. You gave me a chance to practice my spellwork." So they were pretty much even. "You can do something for me though. You can keep me company for a while. That is if you don't mind sitting in the bathroom." Janelle had pretty much decided that she didn't want to be alone anymore, so company was welcome.

Angel smiled at Janelle. "Yeah it was, though I was a bit shocked to be transforming back to a human as I leap at you." Angel giggled, she was surprised the Librarian hadn't investigated the noise because she was sure that it had been loud.

"Yes, your an amazing friend." Angel smiled at her younger friend. "And yes, I would have done the same for me." Angel hadn't thought about what Janelle said next, but it was true... and spell work practice was important, she really should practice more especially with her OWL's coming up soon.

"I don't mind." Angel just sat there in silence. "I'll keep you company for as long as you want." Angel took of her jumper and put it on the floor so she could sit on it, she had just realised she was just sat on the floor and who knows what was on there and it was hard, at least her jumper was a bit softer, she sat there and waited to see if Janelle wanted to talk or if she wanted to just meditate or something.

Janelle began to laugh when she recalled their cat un-transformation that had them both sprawled out on the library floor. "We were lucky we didn't get busted. First, we were animals strolling through the library. Then, we were clumsy humans making a lot of noise. I don't know how Mr. Kitridge didn't hear us." They might have each used one of their nine cat lives that day.

Janelle smiled when Angel agreed to sit with her. Not just anyone would sit on a bathroom floor to chat. Sure, the house elves cleaned it, but still..... Knowing that most people would find sitting in the bathroom weird, Janelle tried to explain. "You know, the bathroom was always the place where I would hide out at home when I needed a break. That was the only place where no one would bother me 'cause who wants to hunt someone down in the bathroom? I'd go in there to think or listen to music and sing in the mirror or just get away from my siblings. I guess that's why I come here.....old habit."

Looking at Angel, Janelle asked, "So what's up with you?" "Classes going OK?" Before Angel could even answer, Janelle continued. "The year is going by so fast. School will be over before you know it and then I'll be a fourth year." The prospect of that was awesome and scary at the same time. Realizing that she was rambling on and on, Janelle paused to give Angel a chance to speak.

Angel smiled as Janelle spoke about the adventure they had, had in the library. She was sure they could write a book about it one day, or it was going to be a story to tell her children anyway... Angel was lost in thought until her friend spoke again.

Angel let out a small sigh. "I know what you mean, your forgetting I'm one of triplets and when I was younger, I had to share everything with my sisters, my birthday, parties everything." In some ways it was amazing and she wouldn't swap her life for anyone else's not even a billionaire person, but in others it wasn't. "You see, we used to share a bedroom, so I had no where to go when I was sad and just wanted me time until I got my own little garden, where I would go and talk to the plants." Angel was glad when she could do that. "So I know where your coming from.

"Lesson are great and I also know what you mean about time flying, I've got my OWLs soon and then it'll be straight on to studying for my NEWTS exams." Angel couldn't believe she was a sixth year next term. "What about you? Your lessons going great?"

Janelle listened as Angel explained what it was like to be a triplet. She couldn't imagine sharing her birthday, her face.......everything with two other people. Sure being one of three had to be special, but still........well she just couldn't imagine it. "Well, it's good that you found your garden and your plants.' Everyone needed a place where they could go when they needed a break. "I bet the plants liked having you talk to them." Janelle heard that plants grew better when they were talked to. At least it was true when they were talked to in a pleasant way. And Janelle was sure that Angel talked kindly to the plants.

OWL's. Janelle was not looking forward to that in a couple of years. It would be here before she knew it. Then Angel asked how her lessons were going. "Oh, classes are going pretty well, I guess. I think I coulld do better though." Janelle always thought she could do better. She tended to be rather hard on herself in that respect. "I have been enjoying my classes. Potions has been really good. What about you? Is Herbology your favorite?" Janelle just took a wild guess because of the garden thing.
