Madame Puddifoot's is a quiet tea shop where you can meet up with your friends.
The tea shop is laid out in a typical English tea room fashion. Lace doilies cover each table on top of the flower patterned table cloths. In the middle of each is a small container with a tea light candle, ready to be lit for those on a romantic retreat. The windows are half covered by fancy net curtains, leaving just enough room at the top to see over and down Hogsmeade's High Street. Little flower and heart covered cushions are on each seat awaiting your arrival.
Sapphira Puddifoot keeps the shop this way because she has to. But she has no desire to look upon all the fancy decorations herself, which is why you'll most likely find her in the back room. She'll come and serve you, but make sure you know what you want to order as she doesn't have all day.

Fallon looked around the little shop taking in it's cuteness. The 28 year-old hasn't been here for a date for--PHEEEEEEEEW--ages! She maybe had two or three dates here back in her youth.
Not that she was old. No.
Just to be sure, she checked her reflection in a glass. Yep, still young and hopefully still attractive to Finny. FIIIIINNNNYYY. Her strong, muscular, SENSITIVE man. Where was he?? She wanted to smother him in kisses and hugs and what not. It's been a while!
Finn ruffled his hair a bit as he practically ran down the street to the tea shop. Why was he late? Why? He wasn’t that late but still he wanted to see Fallon and he was ruining things. Why did Mel always have to happen?
Sure, she was having fun – but India was late to pick her up…and before Mel had gone there was the thing with the hair potion. Why on earth hadn’t he checked all of the cabinets before hand? She had turned his hair PINK of all things.
Finn grinned as he walked into the small shop and spotted her. She was beautiful…and checking her reflection. “Hey Fallon,” he grinned over to her, “you look beautiful” he grinned and stood there awkwardly ruffling his hair as he didn’t exactly know what to do.

Still walking around the little tiny eleven year old didn't know where to go first and she didn't even know what most of these shops were but the looked really pretty. Janis looked around a little bit on the outside and then opened the door and walked in. The little ginger badger looked around the shop and smiled brightly when she figured out what this shop was.

Janis bounced around as she took a seat. She wondered why so few people were here, this place was so cute and it just confused her why more people wouldn't want to be in this shop more often.

She grinned, lacing her freshly manicured fingers with his. "I was just looking at the menu, darling." And it was a fact that she wanted every single thing on there. Even it meant she couldn't finish it. It all sounded sooooo delicious.

Normally Cecelia would not get excited about going to Hogsmeade during a student weekend. It was these weekends that she preferred to stay back at the school. However, today was different. Today she just couldn't contain her excitement. She didn't even care that she was walking into Madame Puddifoot's. All she cared about was spending time with the man she loved... Her husband.
Of course her husband was known for always being late, but that didn't stop her from arriving a little early. She always held out hope that one day he might be early, or at least on time. And today was the day she had a gut feeling was going to be that day.
Once inside she looked around noticing the place seemed unusually empty. This was perfect. Choosing a table off in a corner, yet in viewing distance of the door, she sat down and waited for Waylon to arrive.
Maybe she should have stopped at the counter to get a glass of water before she sat down.

Normally, Waylon would've been late. Very late. Or might've just forgotten to show. But today was a special day, and he happened to arrive at Madame Puddifoot's right on time. No. Actually, he was EARLY. So early, in fact, that he had already made his way up to the counter, sat down and had a slice of cheesecake before his wife arrived.
Of course, he kept looking for her. It was hard not to. Especially when he knew she was going to say something about his choice of food. But, since she was the one who was late this time, only not really because, again, he had been EARLY, he thought it was okay to order another.
Which is exactly what he did when he finally spotted her.
And just like he thought, she sat herself in the corner and was eyeing up the door. Hehe. He waited a moment, just to see if she would spot him, but when she didn't, he picked up his cake and the things he had ordered for her and moved to slide in the seat across from her. Hi, wife! "You're late." Just kidding! "So I had to order for you." A fruit salad and a pumpkin juice. And, she could have some of his cake if she wanted it, too.

Benny Blane had no idea why she was here. Or dressed up. Or here. Or on this… potentially date-like thing. SIGH. Why did this one weekend, closest to Valentine’s make females want romance? Even if Puck had called it a “Galenstine” day… The Italian was… well, Italian. She knew how to read people (generally) and she knew how to read Puck… the girl who had gone on a date over Christmas and was being more… selective now-a-days.
If anyone else had made even a comment about Valentine’s day they would have been told very quickly to go away, shut up and to bug someone else… however Puck. Urgh. Puck had put up with her for years already, there was just somethings that that entilted a girl to - and one date-type-style-lunch was one of them. Okay?
Glares would be sent towards anyone who wanted to comment on it though.
Opening the door to Madame Puddifoot’s, the blonde haired woman held the door open for her… friend, companion, date, confidant, partner-in-crime… person? Gosh. See. That was why she didn’t do labels or go on dates. She was overthinking everything. Darn it.
”What would you like to drink?” Benny asked Puck, as they moved to a table together. Although Benny put her jacket around the back of her chair, she didn’t sit down… no. She would go and get them drinks first.

Holding open the door Bart allowed Cinna to enter first and then headed in to the busy shop. Looking around he noticed an empty table. "There is one right there, " and headed towards it. He was so glad to have a Hogsmeade weekend it felt like his head was never were it was even with his focus potion. This Quidditch Academy stuff was really making him go stir crazy. He really wanted to go next term it could mean his future and everything he wanted since he could hold a broom. If he left that meant no seventh year here, no more Hogsmeade with Cinna.
Holding a red gift bag that he hadn't let Cinna look into yet he pulled out her chair. He had known Valentine's was yesterday, but the weekend here was always Saturday, so he made her wait. He knew it probably drove her crazy she did like gifts, but it was fun to make her wait. "What do you think your getting?" He looked at the menu himself he would have to get a few things this place never had big enough portions.

She was a GOOD girlfriend, who give presents on the same day and NOT the next. He had it, it was right there in the bag in hand. She glanced down at the bag and gave him a pouty face as she walked through the door. Yes, she was at the point that she was making a fake pouty face. Waiting for him to catch up after he closed the door behind them. She grinned and took his free hand. Although she was tempted to grab his hand with the bag and take the bag.
First the door and now a chair, Well. she really couldn't help but to grin. She quickly pecked him on the cheek before sitting down in the chair. She didn't look down at the menu yet, she was busy eyeing the red gift bag. Pouting. She heard his question "I don't know. Why don't you let me open the bag and see?" She knew he was referring to the menu. But right now food wasn't on her mind. She grinned though, "I have no idea, Cheesecake? Or order one of everything and share?" Puck just grinned over to her Ravenclaw, because that was what she was. For the past few terms Benny had been her best Ravenclaw friend. When Benny asked about what they should drink on their friend-date she just smirked.
“I’d love something” she glanced around at the menus in front of them, “stronger than what they have here but not every teashop can make teas as nicely as your family does” she grinned over to her. “For now, something without confetti in it sounds perfect” she snarked as she a pink paper heart off of her dress.
“I mean yeah, I wore red today but its only because I want to blend in with the crowd of lovesick…things later” she shuddered slightly at the thought of all the couples together.
Okay, sure. Sure she was trying to become more okay with relationships and dating…but Valentines day brought out the worst of the worst. The girls who cooed at everything some idiot said and would flutter their eyes at the nearest creature just for their affection. And all the guys or well anyone else had to do was walk about with a box of chocolates or drop off a bunch of cards to people?
Brilliant.
Sometimes people just disgusted her.

He liked to see her smile, there was something about Cinna’s smile that made him feel better about things. Even with all the dislikes and hatred he had for things when she was around it wasn’t even on his mind. The fact that she really liked the necklace made him happy.
“You are welcome. It looks good on you.” He smiled and then turned to order when the server came over. Once he was done ordering he looked back at her. “You look beautiful today.” She always looked beautiful though. His mind thought about how things could be if he left next term to go to the academy, ugh could he really do it?
Chuckling he shook his head, “You hungry? Really? Usually I’m always the one starving.” She wasn’t one of those girls that never ate, but he always had a huge hunger.

It had felt like forever since her and Zeke had spent time together that hadn't involved studying - which primarily was Zeke answering all of her questions unless they were studying Herbology or Divinatin. Mostly Herbology though. So today was extra special and why the Hufflepuff had even more bounce to her already lively steps.
Finding a table, and not one in a corner because she saw others doing THINGS in those seats that she was not sure she was comfortable doing just yet (even if Dot said snogging was great as long as the other person didn't drool), Paige lifted her menu and just gawked at it for several moments. It had been the first time she had been her properly, all previous times being because Jaime had somehow convinced her that sneaking out was the best idea and not actually breaking any rules, so she was taking all the sights and smells in as much as wizardly possible.
Which was exceptionally difficult given how delicious Madame Puddifoot's smelled.
"I don't know how to decide," she chirped, laying her menu down flat in front of her. "How do you decide when everything looks good?!"

It was stunting his still-developing manliness. BUT, for Paige, he would make peace with it. It DID seem an awfully girly place for Hogsmeade, but he supposed there were plenty of guys in here too... and things. It was one of those things, wasn't it? Women's politics, or something. If one were to want to BE with a girl, they had to jump through floral hoops such as these. As it was, he hadn't considered taking such a plunge for himself, cooties were still a thing he wasn't sure he was ready to be exposed to yet.
Following Paige to one of the tables, he sat himself down and was about to examine the menu from the flat of the table when Paige, who always seemed to take up everything and mull it over with great interest, retained his attention. Admittedly, it was one of the reasons why he liked hanging out with her so much... she was fascinating to watch.
Just as he returned his gaze to his own menu, Paige piped up. She raised a good point too.
"You buy one of everything," he nodded solemnly. Though judging from the menu, they'd be spending the whole day eating if that were the case. Which was something he wouldn't object to, fyi.
"We could order a few and share?" he offered, deciding that a range of goods was better than one, and all of them just wasn't really an option. Of course if it ended up being too much for her, then he was more than willing to take one for the team and finish it off. He always had room for sweet things. "Toasted teacake, banana split and a Chelsea bun?" Those were perhaps the most appealing to him, but she was welcome to tell him he was wrong in his choices.
Sadly, there were no cinnamon scrolls, or chocolate cake. How did they not have those?!

Paige's head dropped forward and exposed her gaping mouth.
One of...EVERYTHING?
Paige instinctively moved her one hand towards her backpack where her coin purse was safely tucked away, only to recoil back to her side a few moments later.
He was joking, right? This was that Gryffindor sense of humor that she had not yet grasped just yet, right? Maybe in her dizziest daydreams she could order everything from the menu, but the practicality of spending several months worth of allowance was not what she had in mind for today. Besides, she was still trying to save up to by daddy a new owl since the one he currently owned kept not delivering the replies she just knew he had been writing to her.
"Do you have a big allowance?" she whispered as she leaned across the table just a little to make sure he actually heard her. His mom was the head of Magical Law Enforcement...so maybe he DID get a large allowance.
"Oh!" she eagerly squeaked. "I quite like that idea." Sharing. Zeke was so brilliant and sometimes Paige wondered if he really believed that he was. She noticed the way his confidence tended to fluctuate from day to day and subject to subject, but she atoned this to him having very high standards for himself and having more of that stubborn Gryffindor perfectionist attitude about most things. "Can we...switch out the toasted teacakes for Victoria sponge? Custard slices sound delightful to though..."
Paige gave their surroundings another eager look over, the realization that this was arguably THE date spot in Hogsmeade only starting to sink in, and then turned her attention back towards Zeke.
"And tea! This is a tea shop, after all. Unless you don't want tea that is. Then you should get something else."

He liked to see her smile, there was something about Cinna’s smile that made him feel better about things. Even with all the dislikes and hatred he had for things when she was around it wasn’t even on his mind. The fact that she really liked the necklace made him happy.
“You are welcome. It looks good on you.” He smiled and then turned to order when the server came over. Once he was done ordering he looked back at her. “You look beautiful today.” She always looked beautiful though. His mind thought about how things could be if he left next term to go to the academy, ugh could he really do it?
Chuckling he shook his head, “You hungry? Really? Usually I’m always the one starving.” She wasn’t one of those girls that never ate, but he always had a huge hunger.
She kept looking at her presents. He had done quiet a good job. She know that he had to have gotten these on his own. This had him written all over it. She couldn't explain it, she knew that he usually had his mom find something for him to give to her. She liked those things to but this, this was even better. She wasn't going to ask but she decided to anyway. Just hear what he was going to say. "You got this all for me?" She laughed "Oh, baby that will be something that you will get to see." A challenge that Cinna could really win today. No doubt about it. She was hungry. Where was their food? She shrugged. "I haven't really thought about it yet." She didn't know of she wanted to do an internship this summer or if she wanted to do something else this summer. Summer was actually the last thing on her mind. She didn't want it to come just so it would fly by.
