Adi rolled his eyes. "You look awesome as usual, Angel. I don't even know why you bother to check your appearance.'' He winked at the sisters. "Okay, you guys all set? Because I'm not waiting around for Angel to go put on makeup.'' Hehe.

"Say 'I love Adi!'" LOL. They both loved him right? In different ways, obviously. Adi tapped the button to set the camera off.

CLICK! CLICK! CLICK!

Three pictures of the sisters came out of the sloth at the base of the camera shortly afterward. "You guys look great! So, can I have AJ to myself now, Angel?'' Please. "Go take a picture with your boyfriend,'' he added with a grin.

post 2 : Alina walked to her desk, and studied her first photo. "Not bad" she said, "ok back to work". She picked up her wand and began the incantation. "alacer!", she checked the photo. Nothing. "alacer!", again nothing happened. "third times a charm, alacer!". The photo flickered into life, the two grey birds flew off the ledge and raced off into the distance.

post 3: Alina drummed her fingers on her desk as she though about what her second photo could be of. Suddenly a though occurred to her. She stood up with her wand in one hand and her camera in the other. With a flick of her wand she let off some red sparks, and with the camera she captured the bright sparks in the moment.

post 4: Back at her desk she began to practice the spell. Again it took her a few tries, but then the red sparks began to dance in the photo, just as they did seconds ago in the room. Alina smiled, she liked this spell.

AJ watched as Angel joined them. Of course she would be worried about her hair and robes. An eye roll was caught just in the nick of time. "You don't look as awesome as me," she quickly corrected Adi. "You look fine." She was with Adi on that one. No waiting for make-up. She was surprised that Angel would leave her common room at all if she didn't think her appearance was perfect.

I love Adi? AJ snorted. "I'm awesome," came out of her mouth instead. Were they doing cute smiling faces? Because AJ wasn't. She crossed her eyes and threw up the peace sign. Heh.

When the pictures came out, the lion smiled. Even though she was making a silly face, they still came out nice. Yup, it was time for Benny and Angel to take a couple picture while her and Adi did the same.

Adi shook his head, amused at his girlfriend as usual. But he had to agree with her there. She did look more awesome than anyone else. She always did. He laughed at her saying "I'm awesome" and even more at her pose. Even with crossed eyes, she looked amazing.

"Angel, before you go. Do you mind taking one of me and AJ with my camera?'' Adi handed the camera over to the other sister before heading off to stand besides AJ. "I figured you'd want me to do crazy faces too,'' he said with a grin.

Adi's pose for he picture? His tongue stuck out and making the Sign of the Horns (holding up his index and little fingers while holding down the middle and ring fingers with his thumbs) with his left hand.

She had a good point. Though, Grayson clearly thought that you COULD tell if you've been asleep or not. Kinda woke up feeling groggy and all. But being him, he was smart enough to know not to argue with Alexa Cambridge, even if the girl had darker hair now. No judgements from him about the hair either. "'Least you didn't get into trouble." Nod.

SMIRK. Nice faces. They DID have nice faces, didn't they? Grayson was about to open his mouth to reply when.........

What? She took a picture??? WHAT?! BUT HE HADN'T BEEN READY. HELLO. Could he still pose for it or what? Wait, no, that wasn't important. What was important was whether she had managed to get his infamous smirk in. Has she? Because if there was a nice picture of the smirk growing on his face, the boy would be well chuffed.

The spell? "It's Alacer. Like ah-lay--"

"You lost your WAND?!" What in the name of Merlin? "Are you sure it's not in your bag?" Jeez, what was the girl gonna do without a WAND?!



LOL. Say Hufflepuff. That was new.

Grayson turned his attention towards the young Slytherin kid he'd seen out and about and gave him a 'sup nod. SURE he could have a picture. Dude had chosen wisely because there were two VERY awesome people over here, meaning that he was going to have a very good picture, indeed.

The fifth year leant closer towards the seventh year so that the two could be in the same frame. "Hufflepuff!"



MAN, another person taking a picture of him? This was making the egotistical boy's head inflate even more. Why? Because he felt like a celebrity, that's why. All these pictures! It's cool, there was enough Whitty to go round to everybody.

Unlike last time, the boy had only enough time to turn his head and grin at a certain Slytherin Prefect when the click resonated to him. He'd taken the picture already?! This was ANOTHER candid? There were lots of those going around, weren't there? Heh. Not that he minded but he DID hope they'd turn out good. None of the blurriness, please.


Speaking of pictures, HE needed to take one too. Holding the camera up to his eye, he focused in on Ethan and tiny Snake dude (Dante) and said, "Alright, pull your best 'Slytherins rock' face, guys." Whatever face that happened to be.

Random candid shots could bebe very interesting. Jasmine thought they told a lot more about a person than when they had their guard up. Posed pictures were nice, but people often had the chance to put their masks on in that situation. Jasmine wanted to see the person beneath the mask.

Still looking for just the right subject, Jasmine roamed the classroom. At last she found her subject. Maddie Coop, the face of the future. Discreetly making her way over to the perfect spot, Jasmine raised her camera. Click. She had just captured Maddie being Maddie. This girl was something special. Jasmine looked at her and smiled. "When you're famous, I can say I knew you when." Hopefully she wouldn't be too upset about being unexpectedly photographed. That was the problem with candid shots, not everyone liked them.

Adi seemed to be liking the pics as much as she did. What did Angel think about them? This was a very enjoyable lesson, and it showed on her face. funny faces were the best. Maybe she should get a shot of just her and Angel too before the lesson was over.

"Yeah, Angel. Can you? I'll take a pic for you and Benny if you'd like." AJ gave the boyfriend a grin. "Is there a better way?" The answer to that was no. Smiling pictures were nice, but not a fun as funny face pics.

"Wicked pose." Adi was looking too cool. The lion threw her left arm around his shoulder, and made an upside down peace sign with that hand. She stuck her right hip out and placed her right hand on there with attitude. AJ blew her cheeks up with air, and looked like a chipmunk. She was all set.

"Alacer." Maddie wondered about the incantation. Did this word have something to do with pictures or movement? The brunette couldn't be sure now but she did make a mental note to do some research later. It was easier to remember incantations when you understood the meaning behind them. At least that's how it was for the second year. "Ah-lay-sur. Alacer." Okay, she was good with practicing. Could she start now? The brunette glanced around, looking for a suitable model for her photographs.

The thirteen year old smiled slowly when she heard her fellow Ravenclaw. Had she been subject to a candid picture, then? No matter, Maddie was very photogenic. "My first run-in with the paparazzi. Maybe I'll even sign that picture for you." Jasmine could frame it.

"Can I take yours?" Maddie reached for her own camera, toying with it until she felt she had a suitable angle of the older girl.

Coming up to the front of the class and grabbing a camera, Cyprien went back to his desk and tried to work out how to use the camera. The professor had made it look really easy...finally!! He got it to take the picture of him and some other students behind him...now to try and charm the photo..."
Alacer...AlACer!!... Hmmm this was going to be harder than Cyprien has first thought.

With his one slightly burned animated photograph set to one side, Toby picked up his camera again and looked around the classroom for something, or someone, to take a photo of next. Every time he saw a group of people that might make an interesting photo, it occurred to him that maybe he should ask first (...... like he maybe should have done with that first picture, oops) but... he didn't really feel like wandering around and talking. Not right now. He was tired, see?

Toby coughed again (PROPER coughing, not laughing, ahem ahem ahem) and wafted some of the leftover smoke away from his face again. Cough cough. Grim. Definitely something to AVOID in future.

The Hufflepuff tapped his fingers idly on the camera, looking around the room and thinking thinking thinking. And then... WELL, Professor Fuller wouldn't mind if he took a picture of HIM right? Maybe? And if he DID mind then Toby would just profusely apologise and burn the picture on request if desired; he was good at that.

Watching the Charms professor closely, Toby waited until he was looking away before raising his camera and clicking it to take a photo. Hopefully before Fuller noticed, Toby lowered the camera again and took the photo, setting it down on the desk and glancing at it to make sure it came out okay.

Okay. Cool. Now to animate it. Toby's main goal now was not to set Professor Fuller on fire.

And the real one. That would be a good general goal too.

Attention on Professor Fuller, the third year was scribbling away in her parchment as he was giving them the instructions on the charm that they were going to be practicing, which was to charm a picture to move. How intriguing! There were plenty of moving pictures back at home around her & her father's little cottage, but she never knew how they worked exactly or what she had to do to make them move, BUT she was learning it now.

Once instructed to, she followed suit with everyone around her & went up to the front of the classroom to grab one of the cameras & brought it back to her desk. Studying it for a brief moment, she was suddenly very confused by the looks of it. But before she decided to give the charm a try, she figured that she'd better practice saying the charm first right?

Looking up at the board to see the charm she cleared her throat before she spoke, "A-Ah-lay-sur.." She spoke once more, "Ah-l-lay-sur.."

Hehe woooo. Cinna was agreeing to practice the spell first and that was awesome. Lux felt like one smart cookie, which made her suddenly want cookies. Too bad Professor Fuller didn't keep any on hand the way Professor Cassie did. But he was still awesome regardless.

There wasn't much practice needed with the wand movement, but it was required so she started randomly tapping her wand everywhere. Snort. She probably looked silly but she didn't care. Tap. Tap. Tap.

OOOOH PICTURE TIME.

Making a silly face she watched the flash go off. Haha. What a pair of goofballs they were being. "Awesome! We look so cool!" Now she wanted to take a picture but this one maybe more serious. "Model pose!" she called before flipping the camera so it was facing them. Making the best model expression she could, she pushed the button then grabbed the photo as it fell out of the camera. "We are such supermodels." Hehehe.

With the incantation down, it was time to move on to the full spell. However that seemed better to try after one actually took a photo to try it out on. Angel called to him, mentioning getting a shot of him and Adi and Benny hesitated. He didn't want to deal with that awkwardness that had come up. "Nah...I'm not really one for being in pictures," he remarked. Taking them of others was more his speed.

He just needed to find a subject.

The fourth year let his gaze scan the room for an idea on what he could use. Finally Ben just took a random shot of a handful of his fellow classmates. Click! Click! Totally candid shot seeing as no one in the frame of the picture had even known that he was taking a picture of them. They were all naturally moving around just as they worked on their own project.

"Ah-lay-sur" Finally, the picture started to move...that hadn't been as hard as Cyprien had assumed it would be. Now to get another picture and get started on it. As Cyprien had been told oh so often...practice did make perfect. Now who would be the person he would take a picture of...how about the professor...pretty sure he wouldn't mind him taking a picture...just had to get the camera angle right a quick second...

Eden hadn't been completely right. But of course, that was expected, so she wasn't mad about that or anything. Heh. She listened to him explain about the charm--oh! That was so easy! AND they would get a camera out of it? OMG YES. Eden was SO excited now! She would have a CAMERA. She'd be able to take a million pictures---and if she could get the charm down, she could certainly CHARM them all to move. How COOL would that be? Hm?

She grabbed a camera from the front of the room, and had a quick question for Professor Fuller. "Oh--Professor?" she asked softly, raising an eyebrow. "Does the charm have to be done a pictures just recently taken? Or could I say--take a picture taken YEARS ago and charm it to move?" BLINK BLINK. She wanted to know. Because her mother would just ADORE moving pictures over the stationary ones. Cute muggle mams, eh?

Time to practice the spell. Eden was getting...better at the spells. She had a bit more confidence in herself, and she was glad that she was beginning to perform better in the magical area---she was a witch, after all.

"Ah-laaaay-ser--" she said to herself. Too much emphasis on the lay? "Ah-lay-sur--" she said, again, and she glanced around for someone to practice with? "Ah-LAY-SUR. AH-lay-SUR." It was fun putting the stress on different syllables...for now. But when saying the spell she would have to do it right. "Alacer!" she said it quickly and correctly and grinned to herself.

She spotted Josie. The girl she had met at that strange statue the other day--and she waved over at her. "HEy--wanna' partner up with me?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. She hoped so. if not she didn't think Layla would work with her.... -___-

Jasmine's picture came out and she glanced at it. Nodding her head, she said, "Looks good". She laughed at being called the paparazzi. "I might take you up on that offer." The future Minister of Magic's autograph might be worth something someday. Not that she'd ever sell it, mind you.

"Of course you can take my picture." Jasmine hated having pictures taken, but it was only fair. After all, Maddie had been nice about being her subject. "So what would you like me to do? Happy? Thoughtful? Excited?" Jasmine made silly faces to accompany each emotion. "Let me know when you are ready", Jasmine said.

In the meantime, she tapped her wand on the Maddie photo and said, "Alacer". Now her second picture was moving just like the first.

"I feel like I am with the way the Professor was looking at me." She paused to kinda make sure he didn't see her talking about him. "Did something happen?" Something she'd obviously missed if she was sleeping like Grayson said. Strange she'd decide to fall asleep during charms though. Why not Divination?

Lex held out the picture that had come from the camera. "See what I mean? How could we have left this face uncaptured?" Did he note his own smirk? The conceited tended to. "Might duplicate it and let you have it afterwards." Might being the operative word here "And another together of course." She said, moving closer til their heads were almost together, raising the camera and snapping. Grayson had SO MUCH TIME for that picture that she wouldn't be deleting whatever came out after, no matter if he complained. Just saying.

But on to some serious stuff here. "I never keep my wand in my bag, ever ever ever. It's always in my holster. Never know when you'll suddenly need to hex an idiot and I like being prepared." NOT like this class right here where she couldn't find her wand. Charms of all lessons, MERLIN.

"Oh man, how am I going to practice this thing???" She turned to ask the Professor but at the last minute thought better of it and turned to Grayson again. She'd just....uh...blend in and hope he didn't notice? "Have to make this work somehow." She could just...say the incantation a couple times, make herself look proactive...."Alacer...Ah-Lay-Sur...Ah-Laaay-Sur." Don't mind her, she'd just stand her snapping a few more pictures and pretending she could make this work.

"So you got my good side, then?" Maddie giggled, knowing ALL her sides were good. She then inched forward to take a peek, smiling slowly when the older claw said she might want her autograph after all. See? Already famous at thirteen. She was destined for BIG things.

"I'll let you know," the second year replied, smiling at the faces Jasmine was making. Truth be told, she liked pictures best when the person doing them wasn't paying attention. That's when you saw someone the way they really were, yeah? Pictures should be in the moment.

That's when Maddie saw it, her prefect performing magic. Natural environment and all, the brunette couldn't pass up the chance to get it on film. She adjusted the camera and with a click of the button, the picture was taken.

"You always seem to be doing work so I think that'll capture your true essence." Speaking of, Maddie took the picture and placed it down on the desk. Then, with a deep breath, she tapped it right in the middle. "Alacer."

Angel was glad she had decided to join her sister and her friend Adi but she was still missing Ben. She was thinking about him when suddenly Adi spoke. "Oh yeah no problems." Angel took a few photo's for him and waited before handing them to him.

"Ben! You come over here and have a picture with me this instance." Angel gave Ben a look that told him she would do something bad if he didn't obey... she was fed up with his mood and she wanted him back with the group. If he didn't come who knew what would be said to him. Or maybe she would just kiss him in front of the whole class it was his choice as to what he decided. "Please Ben. I really want my photo taken with you." Angel hoped Ben would come.

Jasmine smiled at Maddie. "Of course I got your good side daaahling. I always get the good side." Yes, she would definitely have to hold onto that picture.

As Jasmine was practicing the charm on her picture, she heard a click. Looking up, she saw that Maddie had snapped her photo when she wasn't aware. Apparantly she wasn't the only one who liked candid pictures. "You got me", Jasmine said. She couldn't resist peeking at the image that Maddie was working on. "So that's my true essence, huh?" It was always interesting to see how you were viewed by others.

Maddie grinned, amused. "Maybe you could be a photographer someday if you have such a good eye." Y'know, if Jasmine hadn't already decided on a career path.

"I think so." The brunette looked at the picture curiously, noting the ease with which the older girl seemed to do the spell. Confident, like she'd done it a million times before. "You look smart here." And in general but definitely here. "We still haven't dueled, y'know." JUST putting that out there. It'd happen soon, yeah?

Also, she had one more picture to take. Maddie brushed the hair out of her face and sat up straight. She then held the camera in front of her, preparing to take a selfie. A dignified one, mind you. None of that duck-face nonsense.

*CLICK*

The picture emerged from within and the thirteen year old set it down on the desk, satisfied with the result. She'd know for sure if it was a keeper when it was moving, though.

*TAP* "Alacer."

And there she was, eyes bright and her lips curving slowly into a smile.

Norah smiled at Ian and replied, "Nice to meet you!" before looking down at the picture she had taken. It was time to charm it, yeah? She giggled softly at the image on the glossy paper, the boy's half grin was plastered on the image just as it had been in real life, as if he was still saying cheese. Heh. He seemed kind of uncomfortable, so she shot him another hearty grin just in case that would make it better. He didn't seem like he wanted a hug just yet, even if he WAS a Puffer, but she figured she should at least say something. "It's a nice picture!" And it was. Look at her, bein' a photographer.

She tapped her wand on the photo and said "Alacer," watching as the Ian in the photo began to fidget and smile awkwardly just like the Ian in real life. HEEEEY! She did a charm on the first try! She resisted the urge to let out a loud WHOOP! and instead spun around and struck a dramatic pose in front of the boy's camera. Juuust in case he wanted to capture her being FABULOUS and SUCCESSFUL, which didn't happen as often as Norah wished it would.

While she’d been taking her selfie, Brooklyn had tuned out the rest of the classroom. Of course she’d wanted a good picture, and distractions wouldn’t work. She wanted to be completely focused, until she’d suddenly heard someone saying sorry. Looking around, she saw the Ravenclaw prefect lowering her camera and realized that she must’ve missed another picture being taken of her. “‘Sokay. As long as it’s a good picture,” she’d called out. Even as the girl had walked off to go take a picture of another girl. Hmph. There went her attention, and she almost pouted. That wasn’t fair.

Nobody walked away from a princess. People were supposed to want to take pictures of her. People were supposed to want things from her, so she could decide if she wanted to say no. Instead, they were taking pictures and then walking away, and that wasn’t fair. It wasn’t nice, and she was tempted to go over and ask for the picture. Instead, she lifted the camera in her hand again and pressed down the button, taking a photo of the two Claws talking. And practicing the charm, which she was going to need to do eventually. The question was which picture she wanted to test it out on first. She wasn’t going to accidentally ruin her selfie after all, but that one deserved to be moving. Unless she just took more later since she’d get to keep the camera. That was always possible too, along with the pictures of her cat. And maybe her dormmates, since she figured at least Maggie wouldn’t be against having her picture taken. They could get pictures of each other even, except she wasn’t going to let anyone borrow her camera. It was hers, and nobody else deserved to use it.

"Alaaaaaaaaaceeeeeeeeer."

Marigold wrinkled her nose and tried to mouth the word again before saying it out loud again. "Alaaaaaceeeeeeeer." She repeated it a few times, then did the wand movement too. It kinda reminded her of a sort of plant shape. She couldn't remember which one, though. She jumped out of her seat and grabbed a camera - nicknamed Count Camera (like Dracula, geddit?) and found her boyfriend's seat. She nudged him with her foot. "Partners?"

Diiiiiiima. Since Dot had warned Dante, she didn't feel bad at all about finishing her picture of him and then scooting over to where Dima was taking pictures. Of her. She allowed him to take a few horrifying pictures of the inside of her mouth, her tongue almost licking the lens before she giggled and dropped back.

"Look! Al... Alacer." She cast at the developed picture of Dante, and when it started moving successfully, she proudly flapped it for Dima to see. She was good at a thing, SEE? "Take one of me picking my nose and I'll do it forever, over and over." She would take a funny one of HIM too.
