Sander cautiously entered the classroom when Professor Bellaire told them to do so. Then the question was asked and Sander cautiously reviewed his notes before raising his hand.

"Professor in our last lesson we learnt two transfiguration spells that we could possibly use help us survive in the wilderness. The first spell was to make a rope from a piece of vine. The incantation for that is Vinea Funiculus and the wand movement is a simple point and tap of your wand."

"The second spell involved changing a small piece of wood into a small boat. The incantation for that spell is Lignum Navicula and the wand movement is a simple point and tap of your wand."

"You told us that in the second part of that lesson...which I believe is this lesson...that you would be teaching us how to make the wood bigger and make bigger boats and longer vines ."

Oh gosh. They were graded on EVERYTHING? Marigold tried not to show her nervousness. Was her hair alright? Was she smiling enough? Too much? Walking inside not too fast but not too slow, she heard Sander recap last lesson. Good job, but what if the Professor thought she was slacking off?

Eeeeesh.

Lux sent a smile to Bev and then noticed that Bay had arrived. "Hey!" she told him happily even though she was still nervous that she was going to die today.

Lux was in big big biiiiig trouble, because she didn't really KNOW much Transfiguration. Did this mean she couldn't participate? Was she going to fail? The thought scared her.

No, she HAD to participate no matter what. Surely nothing in there would kill her, and Lux couldn't fail. She had to at least try. Nervously, she entered the room.

It was time to go inside now and they would be graded on everything. Well Alex knew that she was tidy, as always, but especially so for Professor Bellaire's class. As she entered the room she tried to walk with a confidence that she did not really feel. She didn't want to lose points before they even got started.

Waiting for the unexpected was a bit nerve wracking, but the Professor wouldn't have them do anything too dangerous......would she? Believing hoping for that answer to be no, Alex waited for their next instructions.

Go inside and get graded on .... EVERYTHING? What did that mean? Was she nice and tidy? Well as tidy as a Caelen can be. That was pretty tidy. Some traits got rubbed off on her from her mom at least. Okay, how was her braid looking? Did she have something in her teeth? Was she smiling too little, or maybe too much? Soft grin, darnnit! Tuck in your shirt! Okay, and the pants weren't going to fall down, or fall off or just... fall. Shoulders back and chest -or lack of such- up. Stomach in. Perfect. The kid was good. Physically, at least. Everything was fine.

Caelen tried to look confident as she checked for any loose braid hairs and listened to the person tell about the last lesson. This lesson seemed like it would be hard. Which was fine, the redhead liked a challenge, but the young Ravenclaw didn't want to DIE today! Okay, maybe she was just a little dramatic, or maybe pre-cautious. This lesson might be doable. Nothing to it. Transfiguration wasn't one of her best, but she could try. That was all the kid could do. But still, graded on EVERYTHING? How was that even going to happen! Was there some magic way of watching literally everyone in the classroom at all times? Or were there lapses? Not that she was going to do anything during these lapses, but this was important to know.

Listen up for the next instructions. That was all that needed to be done. Listen up. Be ready to act. And act quickly and smartly. Think on your feet. These instructions sounded like one of the self help manuals her aunt bought by the dozen. Whatever. As long as they worked. The firstie stood with confidence and smiled a soft grin feeling her face get hot and her insides shake.

Her mom was a stickler about grades. That was no shock. And Caelen was always able to live up to this. She was smart -or at least people told her this- and the blue-eyed girl was a quick thinker. She was taught from a young age to value intelligence and such above most others. Which led to an interesting question. Where you born like your house, or was it about the values that your parents taught you. Okay, the redhead needed to focus now.

Graded on everything. And the blue eyed girl needed a good grade. Keeping her hands firmly by her sides so she wouldn't start playing with her braid and look like a scared kid. Maybe she was biting the inside of the lip. Maybe. And by maybe, she meant YES.

The fact that they were only allowed to use Transfiguration spells obviously made sense, but it didn't make Tobias feel good. Transfiguration was a subject he really struggled with, though he was starting to slowly improve. On top of that, his memory was really quite poor these days, and he couldn't remember a single thing.

Luckily though, Sander recapped the lesson just then, and Tobias listened closely as he made to follow the others into the room. Ah yes, those spells definitely rang a bell. Toby could vividly remember practicing them at the lake with Cutty.

Feeling more confident, Tobias finally stepped inside.

... Oh. So... there wasn't an actual reason behind testing out their wands? It was just... a precaution? Just to make sure? Alec glanced down at the wand clutched in his hand and smiled a little. That made him feel a little better, actually. Yeah. Because she wasn't suggesting that there should be something wrong with their wands, right? Right.

... What didn't make him feel better was the idea of being graded on... his attire? Alec glanced back up at Bellaire, a look of mild confusion on his face. Why attire? And did this include his hair? The boy absent-mindedly ran a hand through it, hoping against hope that it was good enough for Bellaire. His tie was straightened out too. Just in case, you know.

The idea of being graded on how well they did during this obstacle course didn't make him feel any better either. Maybe it had a lot to do with the idea that obstacle courses required a certain level of... bravery? Was that right? And only transfiguration spells were allowed. Taking a deep breath, the pale-faced Head Boy entered the classroom.

So...that little introduction by Bellaire wasn't exactly reassuring but Ella had expected something like this, honestly. Bellaire was one to push her students and the eighteen year old appreciated it. She needed all the Transfiguration practice she could get at the moment. And since her wand was working just fine, she could take some comfort in that too.

Biting her lip and holding her wand at the ready, the Head Girl followed along into the classroom, trying to be ready for whatever came first. Her mind was a jumble of possible spells and Sander's summary of the previous lesson helped clear it a little. Only a little though.

Bring on the obstacles.

Bay followed the rest of the students into the class.. *gulp* this sounded like it was going to make him very nervous… looking around he saw the looks on everyones faces.. he looked down at his attire… he had on his black pants and his long sleeved shirt… he was also equipped with satchel with water and clutched under his arms was his boat from last class…

okay i can do this..right…. thinking to himself.. but he put on a brave face.. it was starting to scare him… he wondered what this obstacle course would hold for them… another big gulp…..

Still feeling very nervous, Lux looked around her and took deep breaths. It seemed that most people were as nervous as her. Spotting Bay, she gave him a weak smile and a thumbs up. Hopefully they would both do well on this.

Deciding to do something productive, Lux made sure that her black pants and long sleeved shirt were looking immaculate. Her water and boat were in her satchel, and opening it she made sure that those were intact.

She was good to go.

As Sander waited for the other students to enter the classroom, he checked to make sure his shoes were clean. That his long sleeved shirt was buttoned up and neatly tucked into his black pants. He tapped down his hair making sure none was sticking up. He even checked his breath.

Had he missed anything out? His satchel of water he had slung over his shoulder and his boat?...where was his boat?

..oh yes inside his backpack. Sander quickly opened his backpack to make sure it was indeed in there. Yes. There it was.

Now hopefully all he had to worry about was the challenge ahead.

Kace was glad that his wand was working. It did make sense because they were going through obstacles now and he needed his wand to work properly. He heard the professor ask if anyone could recap the last lesson and the fellow seventh year, Sander recapped it. Kace remembered and brought his own boat with him that he made last lesson.

He was kind of nervous for the obstacles but he knew he could handle them dead on. He was no wimp. He could take them on.

Bart had been there being quiet and watching everyone talk about testing their wands. He did a quick lumos just to make sure his own was working. It seemed to be doing fine so he was ready, until the professor spoke again. They would be tested and there was a course they would have to do. He looked down at his legs. The old had taken it's tool on him and that last bludger to the knee really screwed it up how was he to do this an get graded well.

He sighed and got ready for defeat as he watched the others head into the room. He started to think maybe he'd just walk back to his common room and forget the class altogether, but he wasn't a quitter and he wasn't going to back down that easy. He waited as others moved into the classroom before he limped his way in as well.

Uhh...they were going to be graded on everything? ... Including how they walked in the door? Erm...why? Sophie was curious as to how her end-of-term marks could be graded on her entrance into the classroom, but whatever. At least it was something easy.

...or so she thought.

What if this was a trick? What if the professor was looking for something unique and out of the box? Sophie didn't really know of any unique and out of the box ways to enter a classroom. So instead, she checked her uniform from top to bottom. It was all neat and everything that was supposed to be tucked in was. She even made sure her hair was tidy and in place.

Everything checked out just fine, so she stepped forward and entered the room.

The Professor was offering points for the first person who could tell her what happened? SURE ask the aging children that couldn't remember a thing. Made perfect sense. Lex wouldn't even attempt some form of memory recollection here. It wasn't worth it and she'd only get herself a headache. Not good.

Of course it didn't surprize her that Sander could remember. He wasn't normal, he didn't count. Even with all the aging he was still top of his game. Good on him, she didn't care, it was only five.

What really interested her was going inside. The Professor made them practise sparks, there had to be an adventure now, yeah? If her bones would cooperate she would have been bouncing in anticipation. If this gave her a heart attack, she'd be royally annoyed that she never got to the epic stuff first.

Oh whoop, inside time now! Lex took a few large steps and stopped, eyes widening at the scene before her. Jungle. Jungle. COOOL!! Hopefully her bones would hold out.

She was going to grade EVERYTHING? Was that even possible? Did Bellaire have a hundred eyes that would keep track of everything and everyone? Would Bev get caught if she used a student as a human shield?

Those were all important questions, but noting how snappy the professor was the third year decided to keep it to herself. She'd figure it out once they were inside the room. Being a Slytherin she had the upper hand. Self-preservation being a skill she honed. That plus the brains, the cunning, all the great things a Slytherin was. Bev felt a bit more confident.

Checking her hair was still in a fit braid, shoes laced up, shirt tucked in and her bottoms were in no danger of falling down, Bev followed the taller student population, wand in her grasp. They made good shields.

Ascanius wasn't at all bothered by the fact that he was going to be graded on everything, especially down to his appearance. The sixth year was always dressed to the nines 'cause he was good looking AND because he cared about that kind of thing, yeah? Everything about him was in tip-top shape when he strode into the room with a relaxed level of confidence that only came about when a person knew they looked great and clean cut.

And as to everything else, the use of only Transfiguration spells, he wasn't bothered either. Y'know, this was a transfiguration class. He was almost kind of expecting they'd only use that type of stuff. But maybe he was being unrealistic.

He just didn't think he was.

Jeez, could they properly start now or was that too much to ask?

So everything was going to be graded. That sounded pretty ominous. Plus the fact that they just had to test their wand to see if they work. The sixth year Prefect was a little confused about they could partner up. But will have points deducted because if that.

So they basically were being made to do this alone and with trasfig spells. Which made sense this was Transfiguration after all. Ravenclaw brain power being used to figure that out.Nigel just followed the line inside.

Time for the mystery for what is in the Irie Room to be solved.

"Very good Sander, five points for that and take an extra too as well just because I didn't have to wait long. We aren't getting any younger after all." In fact they were getting much older and still hadn't figured out why yet.

Sigh.

This lesson was going to be a challenge. She did a quick head count of the students once again and looked into the jungle. Something had definitely just rustled the leaves.

Anyways, she looked back to her class while discretely rubbing the small of her back. It was aching.

"Okay everyone, there will be three main tasks that you must complete in order to pass this class. They are; Out running an acromantula to the ravine..." she pointed to it, way over yonder.."and don't worry it's just a magical illusion..powerful magic which we will not get into today, but even so, DO NOT ALLOW IT TO CATCH YOU OR YOU FAIL. After beating the spider to the ravine you will cast the spell taught at the hanging vines, which are weak in their original form, to a rope and swing across said ravine where you will come upon a swamp..it is deep and smells foul, you do not want to fall into it...this is where you boats come in. You must make your way across and head back to the beach and that will complete your task. Like I said earlier, all is fair once the spell is a transfiguration spell, pure charms are NOT allowed. If you have no questions, get started, if you do speak now and make it quick..."

One minute, Sophie was just standing there making sure her uniform looked alright. Then the next second, they were told there spiders and water and...MERLIN! Sophie's eyes grew wide as she took in the sight of the spider. So they were supposed to outrun this thing, right? Acromantulas were BIG, and they could cover a lot of ground in just a short time.

Sophie stumbled over her feet then fumbled for her wand. Uhh...she needed a spell. A transfiguration spell, of course. Umm... With a flick of her wand, she casted a Silver Shield Spell. A second later, she was protected by a silver shield. How long would it last, though?

Bay looked all the way around him.. ughh what was he going to do.. looking around he spotted a lot of rocks around him… "ohh this can be useful" he did not want to get eaten by a very huge spider… it wasn't on his agenda today..

placing his boat in his satchel he took out his wand a moved it Straight down then Diagonal up-left and finally Straight right to use the Rock to Dog Transfiguration spell. seeing the blue light coming from his wand he watched as the first rock became a dog.

"okay now this would be better if there were more dogs.." he said to himself.. "this would distract a spider right…" he wondered.. "more targets to go after than just me" fingers crossed he did this spell eleven more times.. 12 was the lucky number for him and he hoped that it worked and he didn't become the things lunch…

Spiders? Spiders?...anything but spiders...or wait he wasn't afraid of spiders. But Acromantulas? Now that was another matter. Not only were they a humongous version of a spider, their fangs were nasty.

So how did he end up all of a sudden being chased by one?? Sander immediately took out his wand, trying to think of a spell to keep the Acromantula at bay. With a wave of his wand, he called out incantation to the Arrow Shooting Spell, "Inflecto Telum" and immediately arrows came shooting out of his wand and towards the Actromantula.

He knew that the arrows wouldn't kill the Giant Spider but he hoped to distract it long enough for him to get to the ravine. Ravine?? Where are you? Sander continued to shoot arrows at Giant Beast every so often as he continued to run to keep his distance from it.

Hearing the "fake" dogs all starting to bark he hoped he the spider would like those more than him… "okay now is the time to run for it" thinking.. but which way was the ravine… UGHHHHHHHHH……

making a quick decision he ran for it.. hearing the dogs fade into the background he kept looking back to see if anything huge was going to follow.. now should he keep running straight or should he turn… he didn't know so his best bet was to just keep going until he found something…

looking down at himself while he was running his clothes were already starting to get dirty…. "i hate dirt" he thought randomly as he laughed quietly he didn't want to attract any thing to his noises… maybe it was best for him to slow down a little bit and bring his breathing down and make his foot steps softer to make even less noise.. *yup good idea….* he the more he did to be careful the best it was for him not to be somethings dinner.
