Laura looked at the Professor and raised her hands. "No Professor, I know what I was saying but I didn't want to get in trouble for saying what I was if you were going to ask the question later." Laura smiled as she spoke. "Peter Parker got his power from being bit by a spider, he was at college I believe and he had to fight his best friends dad." Laura thought that would be a hard thing to do. "He can use webs from his arms to make things so he can swing from place to place." Laura couldn't think of what else to say.

Spiderman always reminded the lioness of real spiders which she found terribly disgusting and horrible. Actually she kept questioning herself why ugly creatures like spiders do exist in this world that she was living? What was the purpose of creating them? For the idea of Spiderman to come up?

Tiffany took a small bite of her cookies as she was taking some notes down, those special points about Superman. "He has the power which a spider has, like climbing up walls and..."she answered, still finding the boy who was teaching them now adorable. He would be at the age of her baby cousin right? That was cute. "Making webs and that's the only thing I find cool for Spiderman." She nodded. He was never her favourite because in her eyes, no one else could replace the X-man.

Spiderman! BEAM. BEAM. BEAM. Ella's eyes flickered to Theoman wondering if he would be bouncing in his seat or playing it cool. Spiderman was his favorite, yeah?

Oh...Spiderman's powers? Well the web slinging thing had already been said so Ella tried to add something else. Hmmmmm. "He's also able to heal himself, yeah? Like...it's called erm...re-regenerative healing, I believe." And that would be extremely useful in real life, especially if you were prone to getting hit by bludgers during Quidditch...*COUGH*

This. This was what Erik was wondering as well, though he was not nearly so impolite as this girl so he did not just voice his concern. He smirked when she asked that aloud and wondered if there was something familiar about this girl...

Noticing that a girl was watching his fellow candidate rather closely, Erik leaned toward Nolan and whispered, "Are lessons like these a vregular occurrence at Hogwarts?" Or was it just because he was being observed that Scabior decided not to teach?

Sierra thought about asking Kyroh if she could have a chocolate frog. Just straight up asking, no earning. They were buds, right? He could swing it. Ehh. She might as well answer. That way she could at learn earn some credit for the class in the meantime.

Up her hand went. "He can shoot these webs out his wrists," she said, bending her wrists and holding them up as if a demonstration was needed. "Then he can do things like climb buildings."

Right. Thank you, Muggle Studies, for that information.



So who was this dude anyway?

Sierra had seen him in nearly all the classes. She could hear him spewing out questions like his life depended on it. Was that the Reynolds man, too? Sierra thought he was the man who used to work with her dad at the Ministry.

She smirked to herself as the wheels in her head started turning. These candidates seemed just a little too eager to earn a vote. She wondered how fun it'd be to send them all on wild goose chases around the school?

You know, set them up to think something's going on and then watch as mild chaos breaks out? Heh.

Mika looked up to Kyroh - awww such a cute. She bit her lip. Nope, she wasn't going to say he was cute. Boys and kids weren't cute.

"He had little feeler thingies grow on his fingers...um, little hairs on the fingers that made it so that he can climb walls...since the spider that bit him was part jumping spider." And everyone knew those didn't need webs.

Nigel was starting to wonder where Kyoh was going with this showing all these superheroes. But Nigel was enjoying it.

"Spider-Man has the strength and agility of a spider as well as a Spider-Sense that warns him if danger is nearby."

His powers would be good for quidditch because you would always know if a bludger was hit at you.

Oakey listended to the other students who were saying Spiderman can shoot webbing from his hands and fingers. Now he wasn't that into Spiderman because he prefered DC Comics to Marvel, but Oakey knew they were wrong about his webbing ability. "Actually Spiderman can't shoot the webbing himself. He stores it in this device he keeps around his wrists, and presses his fingers down on it to shoot it out and swing from building to building."
Know you heroes people.

Belle heard the two questions the professor asked. He asked who was this superhero on the board. That was obvious of course. It was spiderman. She remembered seeing him on muggle comics.

Then he asked what are spiderman's powers. Belle had to think about this one. Then Belle raised her hand, "Hmm professor i know spiderman has the ability to climb walls and shoot webs like a spider would and then he has a second sense called Spidey sense to know when danger is approaching." She hoped that answer would work.

Rachel laughed. Kyroh was too funny! Spiderman was definetely smarter than the others. Wearing your underwear above everything else was a bit weird, and Rachel was happy that finally one of the muggle superheroes would not do that.

Silently, the Ravenclaw kept taking notes about the superheroes and it's powers as Kyroh kept talking and as Professor Scabior kept writing about them on the board.

Susan was totally lost by this point. She wasn't sure why they were learning about Superheros and what not but she kept taking notes. They were doing it for a reason.

Who the heck was Spiderman?...he looked kind of cool...better than Superman with underwear on the wrong side of his close. Sue didn't have any answers to any of these questions. Well maybe she should try to at least answer once....hmmm "Can Spiderman make a web to catch people in?" Spiders did it with bugs maybe Spiderman did it with people.

Selina was more than just a little lost in this lesson. The extent of her knowledge on Muggle Comics was mediocre at best. It was as if, well, she had NO idea what she was talking about, which was mostly true. It was a foreign language to her, but the kid teaching the class was so darn cute she tried her best to keep up. Of course, it was pretty obvious that she had NO idea what she was talking about, but, HEY, at least she was trying.

So when they brought up this Peter Parker person to say she was lost was an understatement. Although, the name did have a really lovely alliteration- PP. Um... well.. now that she thought about it, the alliteration was sort of silly. Ahem. He was PP Man.

Clearing her throat and her head of such thoughts, she said, "Right... so... I'm guessing, because he's a spider, he's got maybe venom?" Some spiders had that and it seemed like a logical super power.

At this point Minerva was getting tired of hearing about superhero's. They just learned all of this last term. She glanced at a wall and began to zone out a bit. Thinking about quidditch tryouts, homework, Ethan, she had missed a few questions. Then she heard Scabiors actually talk and looked in his direction. Glancing back at the other adults in the room she wondered what they thought of learning superheros.

Oh they were on Spiderman, Minerva didn't even notice they switched from Superman, but really was there a difference in any of these weird likes wearing tights superhero's? Putting up her hand and half hearted gave an answer, "He shots webs out of his hands and swings off of them."

Dylan was writing notes....and because of his note-writing, he'd missed a few questions. Gah...WHY? Why did it take so long to write?! Why was he taking notes...?

Okay, another question...

Kyroh was about about Spiderman's powers...The Captain didn't know as much about Spiderman as he did others. Mainly because Spiderman wasn't his favorite...but he did know ONE. Raising his hand, he offered..."Leaping?...As in...he can jump really far?"

Yea, that was all he had.

Jory raised his hand. "He's got these cool senses,'' he said. "The senses he calls "Spidey senses" allow him to sense if someone or something is sneaking up on him.'' He thought that was the best Spidey power aside from climbing walls.

SPIDERMAN!

Beam! Something Nessie actually knew a little bit about. The red head remained a little quiet but then eventually raised her hand. A lot was already said about Spiderman and there wasn't much more to say, but she attempted to think out the box.

"I think he's a very bright science student, isn't he?" She was sure he was, that's what she remembered from her brother. But would the kid consider cleverness a power?

Hmm. Well...Kyroh nodded, not exactly sure how to give them all the bad news.




"He can! I'd show you how he does it but i'm not spiderman." Sigh.



"Spidey senses." Kyroh giggled. Just because the term always made him want to laugh. They did good!



"Right! He's superfast and awesome and strong which makes him more awesome." Good job!!

"No he wouldn't. He'd look ugly. And scary." Scary people didn't make good superheros.


Kyroh nodded his head as quickly as he could! "He does! It says so in the comics even though I'm not sure what that is...." Self telekinetic....


"He can! But not really fast. He has to rest for it to work." Not like Wolverine. Did they know Wolverine? Ah. Too bad, his papa said not to talk about him.



Kyroh stared at the boy for a few seconds. "You...are....AWESOME." He WAS! He would give him all the chocolate frogs if it was fair!

But...Kyroh sighed, putting his head in his hands as if it were the end of the world. "I'm notta Professor!" The boy repeated. He didn't have a wand! He couldn't be a Professor!

Venom. "Well....there is someone named Venom." Kyroh grinned, so..SHE WAS RIGHT! In a way. Yes.

Oh... was that person sleeping? The one who didn't want to listen. It was rude to wake someone from their sleep but....

Kyroh made his way over to the girl.

"Hey, WAKE UP" He yelled right into her ear.

Running back to the front he plopped down in his chair "Only a little bit of you were right." Kyroh said quietly almost like breaking bad news. "But that's OKAY! Because you sounded really smart even if you were wrong." They did! He would have given them all chocolate frogs but he didn't have enough.

"So Mr.Yellowguy over there was really right." He pointed to Oakey."Spiderman is really fast and strong and can climb walls and has spidey senses. But he doesn't just shoot webs from his wrist. He uses this machine thingy and that helps him, but it's really how people remember him as Spiderman. The webs."

Kyroh paused for a second then let out a deeeep sigh. "I wish I was Spiderman." But he wasn't. It wasn't even fair.

"So, like I said before, there are three Superheros that everyone knows. Superman. Spiderman annnnnnnnnnnnnd do you guys want to guess the last one???" There was a trend! But he wouldn't say. That would ruin it!

He was also still thirsty.

Another wand flick and Scabior brought up the information on the board. He also reached over and placed a hand on Kyroh's shoulder. A little signal.

Ira was like, beaming and beaming. Because this was actually turning out to be far more interesting that she had thought before. Her sleepiness was now covered with excitement. Superman and Spiderman.. and muggle superheroes. Who cared how it all came down to History of Magic?

Raising her hand up, Ira almost stood up to answer what she thought, a bit without thinking, "Besides all the spider webs arising from his hand, as his name suggests," she said in kinda shy voice, "He is kind of geek mixed with witty." Kyroh was understanding what she wanted to say, right? Right? "So, as I said a geek, with tremendous scientific knowledge. Like, super-intelligent!"

Seeing Kyroh somewhat funnily waking up the sleepy? girl, Ira softly giggled. Hmm.. This muggle superhero stuff had seriously whooshed away her sleepiness!

Hearing the next question, the third superhero?! Who else but.. "BATMAN!" Ira excitedly said, raising her hand up.

Nigel was not sure Spider-Man was self-telekinetic. But he was not as big a fan for Marvel comics. But now he had to guess a third hero. Well Kyroh did mention two big ones. But missed the biggest.

Nigel had to mention his favorite. "Batman".

How could you not talk about Batman, when you are talking about superheroes.

Sarah's hand shot up. "BATMAN" she called. He was the one with a yellow mouth on his chest.And he wore a mask that had ears like a cat on them. The kid was really cute, VERY different from his father. Sarah looked over the things on the board and committed them to memory. It was rather useless for her, yet all information has its time and place to be heard.

Acromantula Man WOULD make much more sense. Though, she hoped that wizards that wrote comic books came up with better names for themselves.

...BATman? Oh really. A bat and a man. That might be cool.

Aspen was basically BatWoman. She smiled all to herself at the thought of her little Egbert.

She turned to stare at Dylan, while she was feeling warm and fuzzy and smiley. He was doing that thing AGAIN where he answered questions with more questions. He wasn't sure of ANYTHING. So, she smiled at him knowingly, with every intent of making him squirm.

A smile escaped from Peyton at Kyroh. She liked getting things right, hehe. He then asked another question and Peyton was at a stump. She knew of some superheroes, but she wasn't sure if everyone knew them. There was Captain America, Iron Man, Batman - she knows him 'cause of Kryspin, hehe - and some others.

She tapped her quill on her chin, a concentrated frown forming on her forehead. Hmm. Hmmmm. Peyton disliked that she was going to risk a guess, but she's seen his seal everywhere so that should make this superhero likable to the extremes, right? "Batman..?" she asked after raising her hand.

The problem was Batman wasn't someone who was infected or made more awesome. He should be called extremegadget man...but that would be too confusing for people. "Wonderwoman...it should be atleast because she's awesome and has an invisible flying plane." She spoke firmly and nodded.

She was going to stand BEHIND her idea. "If its batman its unfairly biased towards men...i mean batman, spiderman, superman...see man man man - where's Catwoman or Supergirl or any other superawesome female super hero?" She asked looking almost defiantly toward Kyroah.

"It would be poestic and awesome if it were Harry Potter...since he's like a magical superhero."

You know who was super cute? Kyroh! Ella just BEAMED at the little boy as he bounced all over the place...and called Oakey Mr. Yellowguy. N'awww! He was adorable!

Another superhero everyone knows? Ella smiled a little and nodded. "Batman, of course." But like...what was with all the male superheroes? Couldn't they also talk about Batwoman or Superwoman? Hmmmm? They were just as cool and strong too. Mhm!

Sierra winced, but that was only because she'd been sitting near Kyroh when he'd yelled at somebody to wake up. Who in the name of Merlin was sleeping in the Deputy Headmaster's class?! Gryffindors...

So Kyroh was looking for the last of the three superheroes? Sierra raised her hand. "Salaz--..." Oh, wait. Everybody else was saying Batman. Okay then... "Batman," she said. Yeah, she remembered him from Muggle Studies, too.
