"Awesome! I'm trying out again too, Quidditch is good stuff." And now she wouldn't be playing it again until she got back in September. How was fair? There was no opportunity during the summer. Ugh.

There was one of the people she was looking for!!!! "HAIR BOY!!!" GRIN. She quickly made her way over to Alec, a wide smile across her face. When she got to him she pulled him right into a hug. "You did it!!! You caught the snitch!!!" And now she was just beaming all over him because the puffers won the Quidditch Cup which meant the snakes didn't. See how that worked???

"And I saw the ribbon in action too!!! No one ripped it right???" She wouldn't have been very happy to know that her hard worked had been ruined. It wouldn't have gone very well.

Even though he was helping himself to a cupcake she fished a chocolate frog out of her candy bag and held it out for him. "Good Seekers get chocolate frogs!!"....She'd probably give Aidan one too...if he showed up.

AND THERE WAS LOTTIE!!! But she wasn't going to shout to her because Lottie didn't like when she was loud and it would have detracted from the congratulations if she had to stand and listen to Lottie saying 'not so loud, Lex'. It would have killed it. Yup.

This being the case she walked over to her, this way shouting was less necessary, and guess what Lottie? She was keeping her hands to herself too. See? No hugging BUT she was beaming proudly at her. "You played brilliantly and I could sorta see the ribbon shining too!!!" Ahem, but again, she totally wasn't shouting. This was just over enthusiasm...yeah...she'd go with that. Her eyes landed on the ribbon and her smile got wider. IT WAS STILL THERE!!!!

"Have you tried any of the cupcakes yet?" Another important question. The cupcakes were good stuff.



Lex agreed completely..or...er...mostly completely but seeing the circumstances she guessed she agreed completely. Yeah. There was full agreement. Both Seekers were amazing and did their best and Hair Boy bested Aidan and the world went on because now there were cupcakes and other sugar filled things that could make people feel happy inside. Not that she'd seen anyone sulking just yet, but then she hadn't run into more than half the Ravenclaw team. "The other players were brilliant too. Kept the game interesting." Otherwise she might have had to find other things to do til it was over.

As for that question. "I want to, but I'll have to make the team again to really know that for sure but like I said, I want to." She liked playing Quidditch and she liked the people on her team. They made losing almost fun. NOT something she'd thought could be possible because well...losing wasn't fun. That wasn't how the world worked. It was winning or sulking...but apparently not with them and she was okay with that. "What about you? I suspect you'll be right back on the team next year, right?" She said with a knowing grin.

Kat was a wicked good player.

"You bet! And you were really good up there too!!" They all were if she was being honest and the more she talked about it was the more upset she got about missing her last match. She bet it was fun...even after hearing the score. SIGH. Best to change the subject, even though it was already being changed thanks to the cupcake and candy talk.

She beamed brightly. "I guess I am, aren't I?" And she rather liked the sound of that. Being a candy eating pro was like a badge of honour or something. If only certain people could understand and leave her alone, merlin! "Oh you definitely should. I've had like three, the cookies are plenty good too--they have sugar cookies!!!" The word sugar was enough to make her happy.

Christmas grinned at Alexa and said "Your right there Qudditch is loads of fun, shame that some of us won't get to practice during the holidays" Christmas hated living close to a muggle village that she didn't get to practice that much

Belle smiled and hugged her. "Of course i saw the game. You guys played splendidly. I really enjoyed, i was even on the balls of my feet from all the action. Even your boyfriend did a pretty great job." Belle said and nudged her and winked.


Belle smiled and noticed Alyssa. She saw her beater skills on the field. She was really impressed. She wished she was back on the field sometimes. But the qudditch team was doing an amazing job already being leaded by Nessie.

"Hey Alyssa! I did see the game. You're beater skills are amazing! I am really glad you guys won." she said and hugged her for a job well done.

"Hey Minnie, i know right? We just can not get enough out of seeing each other." Belle giggled at that. It was true, somehow they managed to bump into each other unexpectedly. Belle nodded and smiled, "No worries, i was having fun chanting and seeing the game with you. Oh girl please, you know i will always be there for you, through thick and thin. Especially dealing with crazy boyfriends."

Belle then got reminded of her and Damon. Belle shook the memories out of her head. He already had a girl in mind he wanted to date. Or maybe he was hooking up with Ari. Who knows?

That didn't mean he wasn't free to wear whatever he wished, but it was a very ugly suit. She'd much rather see him in burgundy again. At least he was being loyal to his House, in a way, because he'd been a Gryffindor, correct? If not, then he was not being loyal at all and simply enjoyed mixing up terrible suits.

"I did! Thank you!" she only scored once, but yeah, we're not repeating the passes bit. She'd already said that to Kaiden. No repetitions of any kind. Probably.

OH, the ribbon! "I'm still wearing it, see?" she said, as she oh-so-obviously displayed the silver ribbon on her wrist. "Sticking charms are wonderful sometimes," it wasn't permanent, but she'll make sure the ribbon stays there for a long time. A very long time.

"I just got here, though," sooooo, no, we haven't had anything, "Do you recommend?" If they were like the ones in the Great Hall, then they were definitely GOOD and super yummy.

Upon making sure that the players were all safe and well on the pitch, James freshened up, changed into a simple, chic dress, and found her bummed, sarcastic son awaiting outside for her with teasings of, 'Hufflepuff got lucky.' Heh. Family house rivalry was the best, wasn't it? Escorted by Max, Erin arrived at the celebration tent at the back end of the crowd - naturally, as she had to shoo stragglers off the pitch - and entered the find that, thankfully, the tent hadn't been destroyed with any sort of vandalism during the match. It was lovely, she thought.

But what would her son think of it? He would be brutally honest. "How does it look?" Erin asked in a whisper, leaning into Max with her hand wrapped around his elbow.

Max was, quite honestly, terrified of coming to the celebration. He had slipped away from the wonderful group he had sat with in the stands - Vivi, Ellie, Treyen, other cool alumni - to flock to his mother because he knew he was remotely safe with her. Safe from... awkward run-ins with people who would certainly ask about Emmaleigh, or the young woman herself. So, being a true mama's boy, Max didn't mind meandering down to the tent with her. No shame in that.

Though that meant he did have to endure Hufflepuff teasings in whispers from his mother along the way. He could take it; he knew he would've done the same thing if Ravenclaw had won the match. And he would rather spend those minutes voyaging to the tent discussing the Hogwarts Quidditch season rather than being pulled into uncomfortable conversations about Em.

"It looks like someone's getting married," Max noted, his eyes scanning the length of the massive tent, "but good. Classy. Nice... placement of food." And by that he was referring to how it was everywhere. So much food. He was tempted to politely depart from his mother and dive for a plate, but... then he saw her. Em. She was... there already.

Max stayed right by his mother's side for the time being.


Well. She supposed it wasn't bad that it looked like a wedding, right? That meant it was formal, neatly done, extravagant - after all, weddings were typically the most important day of a woman's life, weren't they? So it couldn't be bad. "Splendid! I was worried about it being too underdone - I'm glad you approve." If Max didn't think it was poorly done, it was likely that Annie wouldn't disapprove either.

Ah, and there she was!

Pulling her son along with her, Erin headed for Truebridge, just as she was devouring a pastry. "Let's go see Annie!" she whispered excitedly to her son, not giving him much choice in the matter - "Annie!" - and soon enough they were by Annie's side, Erin positively beaming at her old yearmate, housemate, and fellow Chaser.

"I can't say I'm surprised that they won," Erin told the woman quickly right away, lowering her voice so that only Annie and Max could hear, "but I'm sure glad they did!" She laughed a bit, and then, "A nice welcome-back-to-Hogwarts present. You know Maximus, don't you?"

Quite stereotypically, Max pulled a mum, you're embarrassing me face up until the moment the two gained the attention of the Headmistress, by which time he put on a bright, sparkling smile. "Nice to see you again, Headmistress," the former Ravenclaw extended a polite hand to shake, the now-genuine smile not leaving his face. Then he became very aware of his surroundings - was Vivi there yet? Or Ellie? Could he politely leave the Hufflepuffs to themselves?

Milton was about to scamper away, but Alice was inviting him to sit with her for lonely captain support. Milton snorted. "Of course that's what it is," he muttered with a small grin before he stuffed the rest of the cookie into his mouth. Everybody knew Alice was mean to him because she LOOOOVED him.

He had started walking over to Alice's table when he suddenly felt and heard a SPLAT! on the back of his head. Milton froze momentarily, feeling something attached to his head. He carefully reached back and plucked it off..... A CUPCAKE.

That was actually sort of brilliant. Apparently cupcakes stuck to Milton's head.

Turning around with the cupcake in his hand and frosting on the back of his head, Milton searched the crowd around the table for whoever the cupcake-launcher was... AHA. "Oi, Keller!" he shouted at the Gryffindor who was failing at acting casual.

"Thanks for the cupcake!" he shouted before taking a large bite of it. Then he continued his destination to Alice's table and sat down... with frosting on the back of his head.

Ella didn't really know how to respond when people told her she'd done well. Truth be told the blonde was kind of disappointed in her performance, not in the performance of her team, though. The team had done brilliantly. "Thanks Lex." She said, giving the girl a small smile. "That's nice of you to say."

"You definitely are." Nod. "Three already, huh? That's impressive. I'm in more of a cookie mood so I think I'll eat some of those." Grin! "Sugar cookies are delicious! Maybe I'll try that one first."




BEAM! "Thanks Belle, I'm glad you were there!" It was always nice to have housemates up in the stands cheering you on even if it did make Ella quite nervous that she'd embarrass herself. When the older badger mentioned Alec, the blonde turned pink and couldn't stop the smile from forming. "I...he's pretty brilliant, isn't he?" She asked seriously before BEAMING down at her shoes. Alec's girlfriend...how lucky was she?

The blonde had been scanning the tent for friends when she saw him and her face immediately lit up. He was here! HE WAS HERE! Just like he said he'd be. Oh and she was smiling, did he notice? That was their deal, yeah? She'd be all smiles and he would be too? Only...he didn't look very smiley right now. Nope, he looked lonely and in need of an Ella hug and sooo...

TACKLE!HUG!

"MAX!" She said excitedly, wrapping her arms around her Hogwarts older brother and squeezing gently. "You're here! I mean...I knew you were coming but it's so good to see you and I missed you so much and I..."

She'd interrupted. She'd interrupted Max talking to Professor James and the Headmistress.

FACE!PALM

"I am so sorry." She said sheepishly, stepping back from Max and giving an apologetic smile to the professor and headmistress. "I didn't mean to interrupt or anything, I was just very excited to see Max." Nod.Nod.Shuffle. Come on Ella, lay on the charm. "Erm...you both look really nice, y'know."

Yup. Smooooooth.

"Ugh, tell me about it. Daddy can't take me flying because he'll still have work and Will and I can't go flying because of all the muggles around, plus we don't want Jeremy feeling left out." She liked muggles, for the most part, they were cool but the restrictions were really quite annoying. "I guess you won't be flying either?" Because she said some of us, meant she was including herself, yeah?



"Any time!" She chimed. It was true, she'd compliment Lottie whenever because Lottie did a lot of things worth noting. Girl was a genius. "I keep telling you you're fast, you should start listening to me more often." Nodnodnod.

Okay, now her smile broke into an all out GRIN. She knew Lottie liked the ribbon but she didn't think she'd put a sticking charm on it to keep it. It meant something to her!!! The ribbon wasn't a wasted effort!! "Mhm, very useful! It made sure no idiots got to knock it off all those times when you were zipping through people and stealing the quaffle." THAT was one of the most important parts! She liked to think that when she made things they were above being tampered with by certain people.

"Oh yeah 'cause you're a Puf--Hogwartian, I meant you're a Hogwartian and you were just playing so you'd have had to go change." Mhm, yup, totally didn't almost call her a Puffer. Lottie wasn't to be associated with them. As for the cupcakes. "I haven't tried them all but I know for sure that the ones with the with the chocolate icing and the ones with the sprinkles are amazing." And the ones with sprinkles didn't have chocolate just in case Lottie didn't feel for chocolate, otherwise she knew the girl wouldn't enjoy it.

"Not that impressive." She said with a casual shrug but only because she wanted more. She could have more, there was no reason why she couldn't. She beamed at her. "For sure they are!!! I haven't had any of those though, I think they're further down on the table but I'll get to them. Oh, but you will have some cupcakes too right?" You know, since she said she was more for the cookies and all...

"And have you seen most of the Ravenclaw team? I've been trying to congratulate them but I think they got lost on the way here or something." Why else wouldn't they be here for cake?

"She's there. Maybe all the knowledge and ideas in your eyes is blocking up your sight." Bliss's dad was sick enough for them to have to leave Hogwarts? Guilt immediately settled in Alice's stomach again, 'cause of reasons that she should have felt guilty about much earlier. And he didn't believe her when he said Dora was looking for him? Why wouldn't he? West and Dora were friends, it wasn't like it was unusual or-

"What did he tell you? How much do you know?" He had told, hadn't he? Why? Alice's face remained as stoic as she could manage, but really, she didn't even want to know. She just wanted Theo to go find Dora and leave her alone, because alone sounded better than it ever had right about then. Moody teenager here, k?

Although it did make her feel nicer to see Jake cupcaking Milton for her. That was love.

Milton really did look awfully lovely with cupcake icing smeared on his head. It was almost like some sort of wig, Alice decided. "Icing suits your head," she informed him loudly. Was it sticky enough to hold other things to that noggin of his? She plucked a chocolate biscuit off the food table and carefully attached it to the pool of cupcake icing smeared all over him.

And, look at that, it stuck.

She popped another biscuit into her mouth and started to wonder if Milton would maybe let her draw pictures on his head with food. "Are you going to play Quidditch after you graduate?" Alice began nonchalantly smearing the icing around his head with a napkin, forming pretty little patterns with the sticky stuff. He looked awfully nice, didn't he know? Was anyone snapping pictures? They needed to be.

Before he could do any more than take another bite out of the cupcake in his hand, he felt a hand reach into his hair and ruffle it. Alec grinned as he chewed down on the part of the cupcake in his mouth, secretly hoping that he hadn't gotten icing on his lips or anything. That... would have been embarrassing, yeah?

Grinning some more, the boy turned around and...

BELLE! Chew chew chew... GULP! "BELLE!" he said, grinning some more at the girl, "I... thanks! Everyone was really awesome!" Really. They had a really brilliant team this term and he was happy to have been the Seeker of the team, even if it was terrifying at times.

BUT BELLE! And the girl was giving him a hug! Alec placed his half eaten cupcake down on the table before wrapping his arms around the older girl and hugging her back. Their usual bear hugs. He was really going to miss giving her these after... things. Yeah. There was no need to think about that now. "Oh... Belle? Rugrat is an AWESOME nickname!" GRIN.



Alec turned his attention away from Belle as someone else started talking to him as well. AND ruffling his hair. Really, his older sisters liked doing that, didn't they? Alec grinned at Minnie before reaching over and wrapping her up in a big super hug, hoping that at least the hug might make the girl feel better.

Compliments. How were you meant to take compliments? Because as amazing as people were claiming him to be, a part of him just... didn't believe it. It was still awesome though! "I... well... really?" GRIN. "Thanks a lot Minnie! That means a lot to me..." Because, with the way Belle and Minnie had congratulated him, it was as if he had made people proud, which he liked. A lot!

Oh! HEY! He was finally meeting Ethan! Even if the guy had been dating his older sister for... a long time. But it was still awesome that they got the chance to meet! "Erm... hey, Ethan! It's great to finally meet you!" he said, grinning and holding out his hand, "Erm... and... you're not hurt, right? Because... he hadn't looked too great down at the pitch once the whistle had been blown.



And then came a squeal.

BLINK.

Alec's grey-blue eyes widened slightly, wondering who at Hogwarts could be so excited to see him that... they decided to squeal his name. Twice. As far as he knew, no one had squealed to him before. Nope. He picked up his cupcake again and he turned around to face...

"MIKA!" GRIN. It was always awesome to see this Ravenclaw girl. Even if the girl seemed... to be leaning on Kaiden? Alec grinned some more, making a mental note to have a guy talk with Kaiden about... things. Guy stuff. BROS.

Cough.

"Hey Mika!" ... Had he said hey before? "I... thanks! Everyone was brilliant!" And... wasn't there something he was meant to be saying to her? "OH! Mika! I... awesome commentary out there!" He hadn't exactly managed to catch a lot of it since he was trying to catch a tiny golden ball but... from what he had heard, the girl had done an awesome job. Nodnod.

Also... "Hey Kaiden!" GRIN. ... He really needed to give this dude a nickname. And pronto.



Alec turned back to the cupcake display and picked up another one. He was about to pick it up when the presence of someone new, or someone he hadn't spotted in the tent before, distracted him from the cupcake in his hand.

... GRIN GRIN GRIN!

"VIOLET!" ... That was a little too loud. Especially since the older girl was standing right there. "I mean... hey, Violet!" he said grinning at the girl, "I... are those flowers in your hair?" That was an awesome touch! It wasn't something he could do because... flowers really wouldn't suit his hair. It was way too spiky.

LOTTIE!

Alec grinned as he heard the sound of her voice, turning his head to look at the second year. He was really glad that she had come here because he had a small gift for the girl. Something she had asked for before and something... he was going to give to her now.

He approached the girl, his hand digging into the pocket at the right hand side of his shorts for that particular item. It had to be there... he was SURE of it. He had placed it in here before and... was it in the other one? He dug his hand into the other pocket, grumbling something about how big these pockets were.

AHA!

He brought it out and grinned at the tiny walnut-sized golden ball. When he reached the younger girl, he held his hand out in front of her, the Snitch glinting ever so slightly. "I think... this belongs to you?" GRIN.

Announcement from a Slytherin?

Alec grinned at the familiar looking Slytherin girl once she had finished her... announcement/congratulatory message. That was nice of her... yeah. And he didn't really know her that well but... he recognised her. And he had the funny feeling that the two had conversed before and... he had found out her name on one occasion. Yeah... what was...

"Kat!" ... Oops. Nearly loud. AGAIN. He blinked several times and shook his head before grinning at the girl again. "I mean... erm... thanks?" The message hadn't exactly been directed at anyone in particular but... she was congratulating the team so... "And well done on your team's awesome work this Quidditch season!" Because they had done awesomely. Nodnod.



Someone else was excited to see him as well. Or... so it seemed like to this Hufflepuff.

Alec looked up at the man who was greeting him and a big grin spread across his face. "Professor Flamsteed!" Who... was wearing a REALLY bright coloured suit! Alec was impressed. "Awesome suit, Professor!" Had he been supporting Hufflepuff in the Stands, then? GRIN.

And... compliments! Even MORE compliments! "Thanks Professor! I... well... the whole te-" But before he could complete his sentence, his brain registered what Astro Man said next and the fifteen year old burst into laughter, his hand covering his mouth while his other hand put down the cupcake that was in his hand.

... And breaaaaaaaathe...

"Well... I'm sure... that the people back at the Secret Non-Eagles-But-Fly-Like-The-Wind Society will be happy... to hear this," ... Had he had too many cupcakes? Probably.



Seriously hoping he hadn't embarrassed himself in front of Astro Man, Alec turned away at the mention of his name. His eyes fixed onto a particular blonde haired girl and the BIG GRIN spread across the boy's face. THIS was the girl he was excited about seeing here. Not that he wasn't usually excited about seeing her but... this time... things were particularly special.

"ELLS!" ... He shook his head and grinned some more as the girl nudged him in the arm. "Yeah... yeah, this is a really awesome party! And... YEAH! Look how awesome these cupcakes are!" GRIN! ... At the mention of his shirt, Alec looked down, grinning at the appropriateness of it. Because Snitches really were crazy! "Thanks Ells! Erm... and you look beautiful," Nodnod.

... How was he feeling? Alec... didn't know how to answer that. He took a deep breath before letting it out and... GRINNING. "I feel awesome! Yeah... and... erm... everything feels great, actually," GRIN GRIN GRIN. ... "And what about you? ... You're not hurt, are you?" Did they have ice packs here?

... Oh... he... needed to ask her something. "Erm, Ells? Can I... talk to you... erm... privately?" he asked, hoping that this wasn't going to freak the girl out. Or should he... wait until afterwards to speak to her?



Another excited voice. And one that called him by a special little nickname that only she called him as.

"CANDY GIRL!" GRIN GRIN GRIN. AND he got a hug! How awesome was this little lioness? Alec wrapped his arms around the girl, giving her one of his super hugs. "Yeah... yeah, I caught the snitches!" That was an awesome feeling! Catching those snitches. Although, now that the game was over, it had felt like the game and all the pre-game nerves had happened quite a few days ago. "You were watching, right?" Although... that was a really silly question, now that he thought about it.

OH! Ribbon! Alec grinned some more as he readjusted the ribbon on his wrist slightly. "Yeah... no damage done to this little ribbon!" Could he possibly keep the ribbon forever? And... maybe... if he got to play more games, he'd wear it to them? As a sort of tribute to this Gryffindor? "Thanks for it, by the way! Erm... it really helped!" Yeah... that whole motivation thing? Really worked!

... Good Seekers... get chocolate frogs? She thought he was good? REALLY? GRIN. And... this was Candy Girl. And she was giving him a chocolate frog, not the other way around. "I... you sure?" he asked, grinning widely at the girl, "I mean... it's your candy..." GRIN.

Kaiden cocked his head to the side, looking at the Ravenclaw. Her hair, it was, different. He must have just missed it when he was running over to her and hugging and stuff. It was… nice. Reaching out the touch the pink ends, he commented. “I like your hair. You should have dyed it black for Hufflepuff though.” Or even blue for her own house, but he wasn’t going to say that. Nope, because he was better.

Oh, wait, no. Did she think she had been bad distracting? That face, it made him think so. “You weren’t bad distracting or anything. You were really good. Oh, and you were excellent today!” Yep. Keeper Lady wanted her hand back? That was sad. He liked holding onto her wrist. Letting her go he grinned. “Look at all the stuff, just for us!!” Because they wouldn’t have done this if anyone else had won.



Oh, so he did see. That was great. “Good, good. Because we were awesome!” Did Professor Space Man just say a career in Quidditch? “You can do that!?! That’s a thing? People do it?” Whhhyyyy didn’t he know about this before. That was awesome! “That sounds almost as cool as racing!” The boy looked around a minute, Was he really serious? “You ain’t joking are you? I mean like, this isn’t some sort of prank is it?

Still, it was nice to apologize. Not to mention the girl looked like she was about to burst out in tears and Jake really didn't want to deal with that.



As he straightened up, Jake's eyes fell on someone else who he recognized. Standing at the other end of the cupcake table was Milton Shacklebolt. Who was... throwing things. Jake's eyes narrowed as he watched the bit of cookie fly through the air and land on... Alice.

Glare. At Milton.

Reaching over slowly to the cupcake table, Jake picked up one of the treats and held it in his hand. He tested its weight, trying to figure out how hard he'd have to throw it to make it across the table. When he was satisfied, he swung his arm back and tossed the cupcake frosting-first at the back of the Ravenclaw's head. As it arched through the air Jake thought a few things quickly. 1.) That's what you GET for throwing things at Ali. 2.) I wonder if it'll stick... And 3.) I hope no one's watching.

Quickly, he turned away from the Quidditch captain and tried to look busy with the two girls standing by him. If anyone asked, it was an experiment to see if the cupcake stuck to the back of Milton's bald head like it would to a wall. Pure science.

Hastily grabbing her sunglasses from their place on the ground, she slipped them into her bag. She completely forgot that she was using them to cover her sad, red, baggy eyes. He was coming down to her level? People never did that. AND he saying it was his fault? Emmaleigh shook her head ”It was mine. I’m always doing this, Bumping into things, and people and falling. Its like my calling in life.” She nodded, and pushed her self up, and got to her feet. “but, thanks.” For the apology, and for being nice and all. His guy, and the girl who was also there looked a little familiar. Probably because they had gone to school together last year.

But, he was making a mean face… but not at her. Good. And she turned her head to see who he was looking at. Ohh, the Ravenclaw Quidditch captain. Or well the one who had been last year. She supposed he still had the position. Em turned back to the two she was standing with, and watched as the boy as the boy messes around with a cupcake, and then he threw it. At Milton. And it stuck to the back of his head. ”That was brilliant. she said smiling. Oh, I’m Emmaleigh.

Max was, quite honestly, terrified of coming to the celebration. He had slipped away from the wonderful group he had sat with in the stands - Vivi, Ellie, Treyen, other cool alumni - to flock to his mother because he knew he was remotely safe with her. Safe from... awkward run-ins with people who would certainly ask about Emmaleigh, or the young woman herself. So, being a true mama's boy, Max didn't mind meandering down to the tent with her. No shame in that.

Though that meant he did have to endure Hufflepuff teasings in whispers from his mother along the way. He could take it; he knew he would've done the same thing if Ravenclaw had won the match. And he would rather spend those minutes voyaging to the tent discussing the Hogwarts Quidditch season rather than being pulled into uncomfortable conversations about Em.

"It looks like someone's getting married," Max noted, his eyes scanning the length of the massive tent, "but good. Classy. Nice... placement of food." And by that he was referring to how it was everywhere. So much food. He was tempted to politely depart from his mother and dive for a plate, but... then he saw her. Em. She was... there already.

Max stayed right by his mother's side for the time being.


Well. She supposed it wasn't bad that it looked like a wedding, right? That meant it was formal, neatly done, extravagant - after all, weddings were typically the most important day of a woman's life, weren't they? So it couldn't be bad. "Splendid! I was worried about it being too underdone - I'm glad you approve." If Max didn't think it was poorly done, it was likely that Annie wouldn't disapprove either.

Ah, and there she was!

Pulling her son along with her, Erin headed for Truebridge, just as she was devouring a pastry. "Let's go see Annie!" she whispered excitedly to her son, not giving him much choice in the matter - "Annie!" - and soon enough they were by Annie's side, Erin positively beaming at her old yearmate, housemate, and fellow Chaser.

"I can't say I'm surprised that they won," Erin told the woman quickly right away, lowering her voice so that only Annie and Max could hear, "but I'm sure glad they did!" She laughed a bit, and then, "A nice welcome-back-to-Hogwarts present. You know Maximus, don't you?"

Quite stereotypically, Max pulled a mum, you're embarrassing me face up until the moment the two gained the attention of the Headmistress, by which time he put on a bright, sparkling smile. "Nice to see you again, Headmistress," the former Ravenclaw extended a polite hand to shake, the now-genuine smile not leaving his face. Then he became very aware of his surroundings - was Vivi there yet? Or Ellie? Could he politely leave the Hufflepuffs to themselves?

As she was standing there, she let her gaze drift around the tent/room thing. There sure were a lot of people here. Mostly students, which was to be expected, but there were a few other people there too. Alumni, she guessed, but she wasn’t sure since she wasn’t familiar with all of them. But there were her little Hufflepuff Quidditch people near by, and oh look… Minerva… She frowned at that. And Kurumi, and Lexa, the headmistress, Mrs. James and she bit her lip as her tummy did flips. Max… Even with their current relationship status, which was not. As in nothing at all, he still did things to her. It wasn’t fair that her body did this to her, even though he had hurt her.

She needed to talk to him. And wanted too… and didn’t want to all at the same time. She just stood there and watched her Baby Badger tackle him. ….. .

Belle smiled and ruffled his hair, "Yeah and you are the only one i am going to call Rugrat that is for sure." Belle promised him that. He was one. She did not know how but he was a little rugrat. "I even saw you catch the snitch too, you were pretty amazing. I will miss you though." Belle hugged him.

Also Belle had a little secret that she wanted to tell him, she did not know if she told him yet or not. "Psstt..i also have a secret for you...my little brother is coming to Hogwarts soon. You should make him feel welcomed." she winked at him.

Belle smiled and was glad Ella knew she was there. "I was even happy to be there and witness your guys win!" Being the prefect and all she wanted to experience the events.

Then when Ella blushed when she mentioned Alec, she giggled. "Aww it is so cute when you blush when i mention his name. He is brilliant and amazing. You are one lucky girl. Plus if he hurts you, i will have a MAJOR talk with him." she winked at her. Not that he would hurt her. They were adorable together.

Belle also wanted to know if Ella was going to pursue quidditch in the future. "Hey Ella, you going to pursue Quidditch in the future? After you graduate?"

Nomming three cupcakes wasn’t impressive? Ella raised her eyebrows a little but chalked Lex’s shrug up to the fact that she was a lean mean eating machine. If there had been a table full of say…ice cream, Ella would have probably been equally impressive. Maybe. ”Oh I think I’ll have a little bit of everything.” Grin! ”It all looks so good and I don’t think it’d be fair not to try a little of each, y’know?” Plus she was a growing girl so she needed lots of grow foods, obviously.

Ravenclaw team? Ella bit her lip and looked around. Lex was right, there weren’t many team members around that she saw. ”I’m guessing they’re still…” Sorting out their feels? ”Maybe changing and such? I’m sure they’ll be here soon.” Hopefully.

Ella eyed Kaiden curiously and BEAMED at him when he let go of her hand. ”Thanks!” Y’know, cause she needed her hand for boyfriend-y hand holding stuff and she appreciated him returning it and all. ”You were really good today, y’know.” Just saying.

”ALEC!” BEAM! Awesome cupcakes? ”Yeah, very awesome! I haven’t had one yet but maybe soon. They come highly recommended by Lex, y’know.” And she grinned, looking from the cupcakes to the hair ruffler. She watched with an amused smile as he then looked down to examine his own shirt, seemingly pleased with his choice. Alec really was adorable. ”You’re welcome! I…” Blink. Boyfriend say what? BLUSH. ”I um…that’s” BLUSH. ”Thanks Alec, that’s really nice.” And Merlin, could he not continue to make her blush? Red really wasn’t her color.

Seeing Alec grinning so much made Ella feel just…really really happy. It was nice, seeing him like this. Happy looked good on him. ”Yeah? That’s brilliant, Alec!” And she was happy to hear it. ”I’m great! I mean…we won and there’s so much food and you’re here so…” GRIN! “And I just have a little bruise, nothing to worry about.” She promised.

The blonde smiled at the boy and then continued to scan the food table, looking at the cookies in particular when, “Yeah Alec?” Blink. Talk? Erm…in private? Ella’s brow furrowed and she bit her lip nervously. Was this…a good kind of talk? Because well, he seemed happy so it couldn’t be a bad talk, yeah? Unless…he was acting happy so she wouldn’t freak out? Oh Merlin. ”I…yeah…yeah, of course we can.” And she smiled faintly at him as she reached down and grabbed his hand. ”Erm…over there?”

And Ella led Alec over to an empty table on the far side of the tent and sat down, eyes focused on the boy with her. “So um…what did you want to talk about?”

It was cute when she blushed? GROAN! Why did people think that? ”Merlin, don’t tell him you think the blushing is cute, okay? I keep trying to explain to him that it’s embarrassing.” Yeah so Belle could just keep that on the down low, yeah? ”I am really lucky. Really really.” And she smiled sheepishly as she shuffled her feet a bit. The thought of Alec hurting her dimmed her smile just a tiny bit and she looked at the older badger, nodding her head. ”Thanks Belle, I appreciate it.”

Quidditch…in the future? Sheesh. The future was a scary subject and one that Ella sort of avoided discussing when possible but... ”I honestly don’t know. I mean I love Quidditch but I also love working with animals so I guess I’m torn.” Shrug. ”Do you know what you’ll do…after Hogwarts?” Y’know, since they were on the subject and all.

Christmas sighed and said to Alexa "Yeah i won't be flying much either during the holidays as where i live is too close to muggles and yeah it's so annoying not to be able to practice much during the holidays"

Mika just cocked her head to the side as noticed that Ella was raising her eyebrow and playing with her hair. ”Well thanks for keeping me posted Ella. Food does sound good, really good.” she hope that she’d get the hint. It was a lame hint though. She was trying to thank her for well ya know – the hair tip but that wasn’t all that easy to do when someone was right there.

And it didn’t work because someone started to pet her hair. She just laughed a bit – which turned a little awkward as another one of those famous giggle-snots erupted from her. She couldn’t help it. ”Oh I um…yeah I was aiming for blue but it went pink…and I’m dye free since 2070 when my sister put dye in my shampoo.” she laughed.

Though she was trying to ignore the fact that this hercrush doof was touching her hair she turned her attention to the guy she had previously squealed at. She just grinned when Alec mentioned her commenting. ”Well thanks but c’mon not half as awesome as you and your playing!” she beaned and bounced on her feat and realized that her wrist was still captive.

She just felt her eyes go BIG for a moment and slyly tried to break her wrist free as they were at the food table. She didn’t want to give the wrong impression – but it was kind of like that time at her birthday before she realized things and she had clung onto his arm like a…weirdo.

Um right.

She cocked her head to the side as she heard Alec coughing. Did he need water or something? Was he chocking on cupcake? If he was she’d go into action mode and help but right now she was PERFECTLY comfortable standing and staring at him and Ella being all adorable together.

Seriously.

They were adorable.

Mika just looked up at the girl who was now talking to Alec and Ella and just smiled. She was a nice person right? She seemed it. Looked nice. That was when she noticed a flying cupcake aimed at a fellow Ravenclaw. She just watched it – mouth open.

“Now that’s a waste of a perfectly good cupcake.” She just pointed at the Milton-bound cupcake and frowned. She so would have eaten that. But then she watched as Milton took the cupcake off of his head and ate it; her face screwing up a bit.

That was when she realized Kaiden had been speaking.

Oh god. She was trying to act all stealth and remove her hand at one second and then she stopped and just stared at him like she was trying to remember something. Or he had something on his face. But he didn’t. She was trying to remember what he had just said to her. And why was he acting all concerned and stuff? Did she have something in her hair other than his hand poking the pink-ends of it?

”Oh…I um – yeah didn’t dye it” she echoed again and flushed a bit. ”I was aiming for copper – ya know for the blue and bronze of Ravenclaw” because copper was the most logical color to say. Blue would have turned not pink…ya know? Right. ”I wasn’t concentrating and remembered the last tent I was in was a pink one so bam metamorphafailure” she laughed awkwardly.

And then he commented that she hadn’t been a bad distracting. ”Oh so you mean it wouldn’t have gone to Ravenclaw and – the claws wouldn’t have almost won if it wasn’t for Alec here getting three snitches instead of the claws one?” She asked her eyebrow in the air.

Was she sassing him? The answer of course was yes. She was sassilicous. ”Aw thanks – I hoped I wasn’t boring and all…did ya catch when I commented on Ella’s hair…I mean I meant to think that but it just jumped right out there and was awesome” awesome because it was true. SNITCH hair! She was in that club too!

Seriously that club needed to be founded…Hogwarts official home of the snitch-colored hair club. Sounded quite epic. When Kaiden asked Professor Flamsteed about Professional Quidditch she just beamed. ”Its so true – I always wanted to be on the Australian National team when I was a kid…but I’m not that great of a flyer though – my brother Finn’s on the Aussie team” she admitted with a beaming smile.

Like look at me I’m related to a famous Quidditch player. ”He’s a beater.” better yet no? Seriously he got to smack people off of their brooms and injure them quite possibly…it was like PERFECT aggression therapy but it wasn’t because it hurt people.

When she finally slipped her hand free she stepped a bit closer to Ella and whispered to her "Thanks about the hair...and the stuff" she winked. Over to her and smiled before disintegrating into a fit of giggles once more.

Isidora didn't go wandering around looking for Theo like she'd planned. Distracting people were around, and she sorta needed to not be distracted right now, or asked a bunch of questions from friends who were also now in the tent.

The Ravenclaw need him first.

Then other distractions later hopefully.

She would just wait for him where Alice left her, and hope that the Gryffindor would see him and send him in her direction. Without biting him. Dora got a seat at the closest table and ran her fingers through the ends of her hair distractedly while she wait.

Wow, these cupcakes were absolutely just scrumptious! And Violet was REEEEALLY enjoying them! She had noticed that it hadn't taken long before the first cupcake she had picked up, was already gone & just as she was about to gracefully snatch up another cupcake, there was a sudden pair of arms wrapping around her. Violet gasped and was about to shriek until she turned to see who it was and her violet eyes lit up immediately!

"ELLY BEAN!" She quickly placed her dessert back down on the table, in fear that she could get frosting on Elly Bean or herself. Then went on to wrap her arms around her precious little Puff sister! Violet nodded and smilied brightly saying,"Of course I'm here! I had to be here to congratulate my house for being SO AMAZING as ALWAYS! Where else would I have been love?!" She giggled before adding on,"You guys played an AMAZING match!"



Violet was inches from bringing the cupcake to her mouth when the sound of her name came ringing throughout her ears from nowhere, making her squeak and jump. Unfortunately after her doing this the seventh year had dropped her delicious snack onto the floor. OH WHAT A WASTE! Violet frowned a bit and was about to cry, but before she could do so, she turned to face the culprit who had made her waste her snack & also dirty the floor to scold them for it not being very polite to sneak up on people & make them drop cupcakes on the floor. But instead she ended up gasping immediately!

"ALEC!!!!!" she squealed eagerly and then quickly answered his next question,"YES! They ARE flowers in my hair!" She then immediately wrapped her arms around her younger Puff brother not being able to contain the excitement from seeing him ANY longer!

Mueheheh.

Theo bared his teeth fully in his next grin. Really, he wasn't going to expose any kind of conversation that he'd had with West, especially to ALICE. But this was so much fun, it just had to be done. The boy got a little closer to her and whispered, "I know everything."

And with that, he grabbed Dora's butterbeer, his plate of food and dashed off into the crowd of people.

LIKE. A. BOSS.

Juggling all this stuff and flitting through these crowds were TOUGH. He'd finally managed to squeeze through, though, going in the direction that Alice had pointed him in. Surprisingly, there Dora was! Theo half expected Alice to send him in the opposite direction on purpose. Well, points for her, then.

Anywaaaaaaaaaaaay............ "Hey! Found ya." Theo rested his plate of food on the chair next to her, then handed the butterbeer over. "Alice said this was all you wanted." But if she was lying, then he'd go back and get her more stuff. Theo was a gent.

Minerva just looked blankly at Alyssa at her words, the team missed her?? No they really didn't. They did awesome without her and didn't need her. Was she going to try out next year. Did she not remember the embarrassment that was her tryout last year. "I don't now Alyssa, I think you guys have great players, so I probably wouldn't make it again, but I guess we will see." She ended the chat about her playing quidditch right there. "So any plans for the summer?" Changing the subject was the best thing right now.

Looking at Alyssa, she couldn't believe her ears, Her smile became tight and forced a bit, "Yes Alyssa I know perfectly well what a beater does, I've done it, I'm not sure why you are giving me a definition when I just came over here to congratulate you and was just introducing myself to someone I didn't know." She didn't mean to sound so rude about it, but she didn't need to stand there and get the definition of a position that she loved to play. Looking at Alyssa she knew why she was doing this, but Minerva didn't say anything even if she was thinking it. "I think I'll find Ethan, have fun Alyssa." she turned before saying anything else.



Minerva smiled at Ella, "Well as long as nothing is broken, I worry about my little badgers, but I know your in good hands with Alec. He will make sure your alright." She chuckled knowing it would probably embarrass Ella, but they were just to cute not to say anything. Two of the people she considered close enough to be family together, Minerva just loved it. "Yeah they do, I just don't like seeing my friends or Ethan hurt." Concern went over her face saying this, still a little upset over watching it.



Minerva chuckled at Belle's words, "Well I have to see you as much as I can..." She didn't even finish it, it was to early to think of the end of term, even if it was very soon. "Yeah, these boys keeps us on our toes don't they." Minerva smiled hoping to just change the subject away from Belle leaving school. "Oh Hey Belle, let's make plans to meet up this summer. I'm getting my license, so maybe my grandparents will let me drive somewhere if it isn't horribly far." She knew the wouldn't let her drive to far away being a new driver, but maybe she could do some sweet talking with her grandpa.

[spoiler=Adorable Alec] Minerva shook her head and smiled, he was always so blind to his great skills. "Yes really.. You are the best Alec, what year are you going to realize this.." She chuckled, "Kind of like you don't think your a great little brother, which you are." Minerva smiled, she was so glad Alec was her friend and allowed her to call him her little brother. Even if he never understood how much he did help her with that family void over these years.

Then she smiled, "Sorry.. we just were never in the same place." Aww look at Alec worrying about her boyfriend, he was the sweet little brother. "Maybe once summer comes the four of us can do something, if you and Ella are up for it." Yes, she would love for Ethan to get to know Alec more.

"You're welcome, Ella!" Kat said while grinning at the younger Hufflepuff. She was one heck of a good player as well. "You played well as Keeper this term too!" Kat had to say that. Didn't Ella play another position before Keepering? That was Chaser right? Before that little firstie from last term left. Dunno where he went. Ella improved, by the way. No wonder Theo liked her before. She was a cool gal and probably one of the few Hufflepuffs she could handle.

Oh right, the other players too. The Chasers needed their praise as well for being so fast and getting pass the Keepers. Well, that was a weird thing to say considering Kat was the Slytherin's Keeper this term, and maybe she'll try out for the same position next term as well. It was all planned out. "Yeah, the Chasers were great, so were the Beaters and Keepers." Keepers. Hehe. Self eg-inflating moment right there. Kat did watch the match though, and Ella got better. Bee was still a good swerver (is that a word) and Elise. Gosh, Elise. She got knocked out and it made Kat worried.

"You should try out again," Kat said. Didn't Alice love her little Lex? Cos Kat did, the way a sister would love her sister... even though they were just pseudosisters but whatever. THAT didn't matter. "You play well, just so you know." Kat had been to their practices, sneaking. MHM. And of course, watching their matches. Kat wouldn't miss them, plus she was cheering for Lex on special occasions. Oh, the perks of being pseudosisters.

There was the Hufflepuff seeker. That fast little dude, Alec. "You're welcome!" she replied. He was really good, honestly. Young but talented. Kat could see his future and it was so briiiiiiight. "Congrats on the snitch captures. You're bleeding good out there." Like, really good. Not words, nope.

Alec was probably one of the ONLY seeker who could be faster than Dylan. But you know, Kat wasn't going to dwell on that thought. Nope.

HUFFLEPUFFS. So humble. "Thank you too," Kat smiled. Cos well... Slytherin, compared to last term, improved a lot. A LOT. Kat was so freakin' proud of her team for reaching this far. However, she wanted to know the Quidditch Standings. Although it was obvious Hufflepuff got the Cup. She knew her Muggle Math......

... but not her Arithmancy. Oops.

He even let her stick that biscuit on his head. He wasn't entirely sure why everyone was so fascinated with it, though. It was like they hadn't ever seen a someone with no hair before.

Milton opened his mouth to answer, but Alice started drawing patterns on his head. Odd child. "No, probably not," he replied, popping another cookie into his mouth. "I may play for recreation here and there, but professionally... No. Given my track record with bludgers, I'd probably die after the second game."

"Does my head make a nice canvas?" Just wondering.

So she was a little late to the party. Sue her. But it was only because she hadn't been sure of what to wear. She first thought yellow, because, well, obvious reasoning. But then she'd wondered if she should wear navy too for loyalty's sake. In the end though, she decided on a yellow beret with a black drapey top, dark jeans, and some grey converse. Yellow, but not toooo yellow, right? Anyway, who all is here? she wondered as she entered the giant tent. I thought this was a party, not a wedding reception! The white on white was blinding at first, but soon her eyes adjusted and she spotted some people she'd like to congratulate.

She could see that they'd been chatting with people for a while, but she wanted to say hi anyway. Don't want them to think I don't support them just cause they're in a different house right? Although it would've been nice if Ravenclaw'd won... Oh well, there's always next year. She made her rounds and gave a few friendly taps on shoulders to express her happiness for her friends' victory.

"Good game, Ella!" she said to the smiley puffer who was always so nice.

"Congrats, Alyssa!" she said as she looked up to the older girl who was always so smart in class. How is she not a Ravenclaw? she wondered to herself, and not for the first time.

She saw Minerva too and though she hadn't played, she wanted to say hi anyway. "Hey Minerva, congrats on your house's win!" She smiled at her and wondered why she hadn't played this year, but didn't ask. She remembered her playing last year though. She'd looked so cool with her different colored hair blowing around as she played. I think I might try out next year, she considered again. She'd spoken with Ethan about it briefly, but he was the only one she'd told so far. She knew she wasn't that athletic, but giving it a try couldn't hurt.

And then she saw her little lion friend jibber jabbering away to lots and lots of people. She seems to know everyone already! How is that even possible?! She was happy for her friend though because she knew that life was always better with lots of friends. She didn't think Lex would mind her jumping over next to her, so she did just that. Like, literally hopped up next to her, hoping to maybe surprise her a little bit. For fun. "Hey Lex!" she exclaimed next to her to announce her arrival. "How's the par-tay?" She was in a much better mood at this party than she'd been at the last one, for the treasure hunt. And that was good because it was nearing the end of the year and she was just plain tired of feeling off. Happy was good.

She didn't know if she was just imagining it but as far as she could remembered she'd hardly seen the woman all term. This could've and should've been taken as a good thing. Meant she was staying out of trouble and deserved a box of chocolate frogs for her efforts because yes she was forgetting that incident with Cassia out at the stands. It was always RIGHT AFTER, like IMMEDIATELY after taking a bite of food, that someone insisted on coming up to you to start a conversation. Anastasia had this same problem when she dined out at cheaper restaurants; the waiter always wanted to ask how things were when her mouth was full. It was as if they didn't really want an answer, they just wanted to make her feel ridiculous with a mouth chock full of food.

Alexa Cambridge was being like a waiter to her now. Mer-lin!

"C-Cambridge," the redhead choked out, swallowing the now lumpy, no-longer-tasty pastry. She gave the girl a solid LOOK, as though her blue eyes could ex-ray her for any mischief. She was surely up to SOMETHING here with all her QUESTIONS. "I just... it was only... I mean... ONE... just... I don't like cupcakes THAT much," she clucked and swiped another little cake off the table, hiding it behind her back. Ahem.

"I did enjoy the match today, thank you. Both teams played tremendously well. I'm proud of Hufflepuff." She gave the Gryffindor a firm nod. "Are you looking forward to summer?" Best to keep the subject away from her and her own love of cupcakes.

Max was, quite honestly, terrified of coming to the celebration. He had slipped away from the wonderful group he had sat with in the stands - Vivi, Ellie, Treyen, other cool alumni - to flock to his mother because he knew he was remotely safe with her. Safe from... awkward run-ins with people who would certainly ask about Emmaleigh, or the young woman herself. So, being a true mama's boy, Max didn't mind meandering down to the tent with her. No shame in that.

Though that meant he did have to endure Hufflepuff teasings in whispers from his mother along the way. He could take it; he knew he would've done the same thing if Ravenclaw had won the match. And he would rather spend those minutes voyaging to the tent discussing the Hogwarts Quidditch season rather than being pulled into uncomfortable conversations about Em.

"It looks like someone's getting married," Max noted, his eyes scanning the length of the massive tent, "but good. Classy. Nice... placement of food." And by that he was referring to how it was everywhere. So much food. He was tempted to politely depart from his mother and dive for a plate, but... then he saw her. Em. She was... there already.

Max stayed right by his mother's side for the time being.

Well. She supposed it wasn't bad that it looked like a wedding, right? That meant it was formal, neatly done, extravagant - after all, weddings were typically the most important day of a woman's life, weren't they? So it couldn't be bad. "Splendid! I was worried about it being too underdone - I'm glad you approve." If Max didn't think it was poorly done, it was likely that Annie wouldn't disapprove either.

Ah, and there she was!

Pulling her son along with her, Erin headed for Truebridge, just as she was devouring a pastry. "Let's go see Annie!" she whispered excitedly to her son, not giving him much choice in the matter - "Annie!" - and soon enough they were by Annie's side, Erin positively beaming at her old yearmate, housemate, and fellow Chaser.

"I can't say I'm surprised that they won," Erin told the woman quickly right away, lowering her voice so that only Annie and Max could hear, "but I'm sure glad they did!" She laughed a bit, and then, "A nice welcome-back-to-Hogwarts present. You know Maximus, don't you?"

Quite stereotypically, Max pulled a mum, you're embarrassing me face up until the moment the two gained the attention of the Headmistress, by which time he put on a bright, sparkling smile. "Nice to see you again, Headmistress," the former Ravenclaw extended a polite hand to shake, the now-genuine smile not leaving his face. Then he became very aware of his surroundings - was Vivi there yet? Or Ellie? Could he politely leave the Hufflepuffs to themselves?

Oh thank Merlin, another adult to converse with. Saved from the Cambridge! Annie gratefully greeted her old Housemate with a smile and nod of approval for her dress. "You look great in purple," she informed the flying instructor, of course not missing how dapper her boy looked when he wasn't slouching around in quidditch attire.

"Of course I am QUITE proud to see the trophy go to the right house," the redhead whispered right back to the flying instructor. "I'm not surprised the Puffs pulled it off either!" She straighened back up and nodded at Max. Yes, she remembered him!

"Nice to see you again too, Mr. James," Annie gave the boy, who was CLEARLY being mum'd to death, a humorous smile. "Are you enjoying life as a graduate?"

The blonde had been scanning the tent for friends when she saw him and her face immediately lit up. He was here! HE WAS HERE! Just like he said he'd be. Oh and she was smiling, did he notice? That was their deal, yeah? She'd be all smiles and he would be too? Only...he didn't look very smiley right now. Nope, he looked lonely and in need of an Ella hug and sooo...

"MAX!" She said excitedly, wrapping her arms around her Hogwarts older brother and squeezing gently. "You're here! I mean...I knew you were coming but it's so good to see you and I missed you so much and I..."

She'd interrupted. She'd interrupted Max talking to Professor James and the Headmistress.

FACE!PALM

"I am so sorry." She said sheepishly, stepping back from Max and giving an apologetic smile to the professor and headmistress. "I didn't mean to interrupt or anything, I was just very excited to see Max." Nod.Nod.Shuffle. Come on Ella, lay on the charm. "Erm...you both look really nice, y'know."

Yup. Smooooooth.

The Hufflepuff Keeper was also a Maximus James fan, it seemed. Good for the boy, he had friends other than his mother. Annie stood there and awkwardly watched the PUBLIC DISPLAY OF AFFECTION known as hugging take place right in front of her, and then smirked when the girl try to cover it all up by complimenting her.

Well, luckily for her, that worked. "Thank you, dear, excellent job on the pitch today. Bishop, is it?"

Stoic. Stoic. Stoic. Okay? Alice wasn't supposed to be giving him looks or glaring or gaping openly, and she most definitely wasn't supposed to bite him, so keeping her face emotionless seemed like the best option. But when he claimed that he knew EVERYTHING and turned and left without clarifying a single thing for her, she was gaping. That was allowed now.

Theo was lucky he was Dora's kissing buddy. Real, real lucky.

Milton was better company than any ridiculous Slytherins, anyway. Alice continued happily swirling patterns around his bald head with icing, now oblivious to her surroundings once again. "Really? Oh. What d'you want to do, then?" Was he talented in other areas she didn't pay much attention to? Maybe he was, and she just didn't know.

"Your head makes a lovely canvas. And, you never know, this icing might just be magically enhanced and cause hair growth or something." But that was a load of troll dung and she was rather certain his shiny head would stay bald and hairless forever. Really, though, it was pretty that way. All the better for her artistic creations.

Alyssa blushed when Belle complimented her on her beating skills. Did she not see the two bludgers she had totally missed hitting altogether? Hmm...maybe she didn't. Alyssa hoped that she wasn't the only one who had missed that.

"Uh..thanks, Belle. Yes we won. Believe me, the Claws are always a tough team to beat and it was a good game out there." Alyssa told her House Prefect before turning back to Minerva.

"Hey! You are a great player, don't doubt your abilities like that. And you never know, there actually might be a Beater spot open next term." Alyssa told Minerva. Yes, there definitely would be a Beater spot open next term. That was something Alyssa was certain off.

...and then she found herself switching gears and apologizing to Minnie. "I'm sorry for doing that, Minerva." Alyssa told the Fifth Year. Alyssa didn't even know why she was explaining what a beater did to Minerva. Yeah duh...she had played Beater last term.

"Blame my blabbering on my excitement on us winning. I think that I've left my brains back at the Quidditch pitch. What am I doing this Summer? Well I was going to be...." Alyssa trailed off as she heard Minerva say goodbye and turn away from her.

....'Okay, I guess I offended her big time by saying that. ' Alyssa thought to herself feeling bad that she had done that. But after a minute of staring at the retreating back of her younger friend, Alyssa sighed and shook off her moment of sadness. She wasn't going to let a bad interaction spoil her celebration.

Smiling she turned to the Claw that had congratulated her. 'Gosh darn it, what is her name? I really DID leave my memory back at the pitch.' Alyssa thought to herself as she tried to remember the name of the girl who was talking to her.



"Oh....uh! thanks!...Your House team is an amazing team to play against. They are really super fast too. Are you going to try out next term....uh....E..li..za?" Alyssa asked finally remembering the younger Claws name. Eliza! That was her name.
