Alice didn't care that they'd lost Dora's man candy, not in the slightest. Her eyes scanned the celebration tent, pretending to look for Theo, while in reality, she was still kind of trying to find West, too. Because there was still a tiny part of her mind hoping he'd show, even if all the other parts were telling her he wouldn't. "I don't see anyone." There were entirely too many people here, and she couldn't be expected to find anyone in this mess.

"Can we sit down and eat while simultaneously looking?" Dora could find Theo and talk to him about things that needed to be talked about later, couldn't she? Because Alice was tired and hungry and had pretty much given up on finding anyone now, especially certain snakes.

Dora paused in her scanning of the crowd and waving at the people she knew to consider Alice and her current expression. "We were just sitting." Pause pause. "I'll pick the seats, and you can get the food." The third year was assuming that Alice would be getting a lot of food and would take forever, which would give her enough time to wander around and do a sweep of the place for Theo, and West if he was even around, before getting them seats.

"I'll eat whatever you get me, I'm not terribly hungry though, so don't get me too much." Her eyes gave another scan of the tent before looking back at Alice. "Actually, I just want a butterbeer."

Theo wasn't sure if the other two had lost him by accident, or on total purpose. He wouldn't be surprised if Alice whisked Dora away to find someone cooler (wait, who could be COOLEr?) to hang out with. Anyway, he wasn't too fussed because he would find someone, and for now, he had that beautiful food table to keep him occupied.

The third year hovered over the cupcakes, tucking one away for later, and picking up one to stuff in his mouth right now. It was perfect alone time to mull over this celebration thing. He'd paid little attention to today's game, but he was a little disappointed that Ravenclaw had lost. Oh well, though. He was more focused on his own team's performance this term. Which was just pure EPIC, of course.

Ohhhhh, those biscuits. He gave a quick look around, and proceeded to shove six tiny chocolate biscuits in his mouth.

Yum.

Minerva walked into the tent. She was meeting Ethan there and she felt a bit awkward. She was super excited about the Quidditch cup, she remembered last term getting the surprise of playing in the last game. She had missed playing this term and hoped things would turn around next term. Looking around she wasn't even sure if she should be there, she knew the only reason Ethan would be going is because of her and she knew he was sore from getting hurt, so maybe she would just come in say congrats, talk a bit, and then they could head out.

As she looked around she spotted the team and quickly went over with a smile on her face. "Alyssa, Ella, Ness!!! Congrats, you played amazing!! This is just awesome." Minerva hugged each of them and then came to someone she didn't think she knew.. No wait she had met him shortly at the beginning of term, then it hit her, this was the beater that sent the bludger at Ethan.. She knew it was just a game, she played beater when she was on the team, she got that, but it was still Ethan that was hit. She eyed him and sized him up. "So.. I don't think I know you all that well... " which meant he didn't know her that well either. "I'm Minerva Wheatborn, congrats on the win, you were the other beater with Alyssa, right?" She wasn't really asking to know, she knew.. She knew a beater's job was to hit bludgers at the other team, but she was not happy with this one.. He was the one that hit Ethan, for that she still eyed him not thrilled. She fought the urge to tell him if he ever hit her boyfriend again that he would find out what her beaters skills were like..

Turning from him she went back to her friends that she did know, "Ness, brilliant year again, you are an amazing captain.." Then to her main concern she turned to Ella, "Ella, how are you feeling? You took that bludger pretty hard. That is about the only thing I didn't miss this year.." Yes, she really didn't miss the bruises and broken bones from being hit by the bludger, but she had missed playing or even announcing. She had to remember to get back into that next term.

Ethan wasn't really feeling in the best mood to celebrate, but one, it was a Quidditch-related thing and two, he was meeting Minerva here. So that was reason enough to come. Plus it was a party so he was sure there would be food. He walked into the tent, noticing quite a few people already there.. oh, and there was his girlfriend congratulating her house's team. He threw a little smile in her direction, not wanting to interrupt yet, and headed over to the table laden with food.

The Ravenclaw piled a plate with food, then his green eyes searched the crowd. Mostly Hufflepuffs it seemed - not too surprising - but was no one from his team there yet? He frowned slightly, hoping at least someone would come and he turned his attention back to his favorite Puff. Slowly walking over, he gave Minerva a small smile and tilted his head toward the plate in his hand. "Hey, Min.. Want a cookie?" He grabbed one himself and took a bite. Not bad..

"I enjoy sitting. It requires very little effort on my part." Alice liked things that didn't make her work too much, didn't Dora know? She continued glancing around for faces, two in particular, but there was still no one she needed around. "Alright. I'll keep an eye out for Theo, okay?" She grinned at the Ravenclaw and nodded along to her instructions, making mental notes of what to fetch her. Butterbeer? She could do that.

She turned away from Dora before locating the areas of the tent with food. FOOD. Finally. She was famished, probably even hungrier than half of those people who had just played Quidditch. Could she go now? And she would come back real quickly with plenty of snacks and Dora's butterbeer. "I'll be right back."

There was so much food, really, and Alice was resisted the urge to cast that expanding charm on one of the containers and dump everything inside. She was still most definitely preoccupied by the food when someone nearby, making the most unsanitary eating sounds, might she add, captured her attention.

"Thinsley? You disappeared," she informed him matter-of-factly. "Dora's looking for you. She's somewhere around.. there." Alice gestured to the vicinity of her friend, hoping he could find her by himself. BUT, before he left, she had questions, okay? "D'you know where West is? He was supposed to meet us at the match earlier and he was going to be here now, but we can't find him anywhere." And after he answered that, he could leave and go find Dora and snog her or whatever else he wanted to do.

And Alice would just.. do stuff until after. Because she and Dora had things to discuss later. For now, she could just stand there awkwardly and stare at biscuits and wait for someone worth her time to pass by.

At first, Jake hadn't even wanted to come to this thing. But after much thought, he decided that he probably should. Considering he had played and everything. Plus, it'd be good sportsmanship to congratulate the Puffs and whatever. He'd heard the announcing from his dormitory. He knew who won that match.

He did, however, drag Anya along with him. Mostly because he didn't want to go alone... and she was his favorite person at Hogwarts. So it made sense. He was holding her hand as they entered the tent and he looked around. "Wow," he muttered, grabbing a cupcake with his free hand as they passed the tables. "Fancy. You think we should grab a table?" He looked over at the girl beside him. Maybe he should go be a good sport and everything. Or maybe that could wait until he at least finished his cupcake.

Ella just watched as the boy hugged Mika, trying not to smirk. She wasn't that practiced in the art of smirking but on occasion she just couldn't help it and now in particular felt like a very smirky time. She promised she was going to be stealth though, didn't she? And so the fifteen year old pretended not to notice Mika's pink cheeks and avoided eye contact until the girl regained her composure. Instead...

"Hey Kaiden, hungry?"

What was that sound? It was, weird. And very much Miks. ”I did, I did.” the boy said nodding. It was, uh, distracting. You didn’t tell me you were gonna do that!” Because that was important, It had distracted him and made him not do so well at the beginning. It was different knowing she was watching so closely. Oh, and she was getting red… this was weird.
“So um, I guess you saw then…” yeah, duh, you big idiot. Of course she saw.

Oh, Keeper Lady was talking. This was good, because he didn’t know what to say, and stuff. Kaiden nodded, “Yeah, super hungry. Hey Keeper Lady. Yeah I didn’t eat so much this morning, so I yeah, starving.” Nod, Nod, Nod. “We should… Go get some food.” Grabbing hold of both Miks’ and Keeper Lady’s wrists, he pulled them towards the FOOD!!! ”Come on!

She examined the other people in the room noticing that nobody else was eating just yet...or maybe someone was..yeah someone was. But maybe the food was better for later, like when she was sitting because now she wanted to stand and talk to people, mostly her badgers if she could find them. She looked around the room once more and almost squeed aloud when she saw who she did. It wasn't one of her Hufflepuffs but it was someone who she hadn't seen in quite a while now.

Walking as fast as her shoes could allow the Captain headed over to Kurumi and her fellow red head. Kurumi and Selina were the kind of best friends anyone wished they could be. It was sweet and the last thing Nessie wanted to do was interrupt them for too long which was why she agreed with herself that for now she would just stop by and give them her greetings. "Kurumi!" she beamed quite brightly at the older girl. She then turned towards Selina. "..and Selina! I just wanted to say hello quickly. So um..hello." Her bright blue eyes were back onto Kurumi and then switched once more to the Head girl. "And great season, Selina." Because it honestly was.

Just looking at these two best friends made her think of Thomas...but he was acting as silly as a blonde right now and Ness knew better then to dwell on him at such an event. She was here to have fun without her ex boyfriend and rather with her most amazing team.

Oh, and, and, and it was their redheaded leader. ”Captain!!! He said with a grin. “We we great! Just Awesome! Yeeep. Reaching up, he poked the girl in the face. ”No funny faces today! No frowing”


Emmaleigh Aryn Swynford was still not incredibly happy being here. Yes, Hufflepuff had won the match, and she was super happy about that. Way happier than she had been last year, but well, yeah. She had followed the rest of the people into the celebration tent… Yeah, this did not feel like a celebration. Not at all, because of the horrible memories and… stuff… yeah stuff. Refusing to take her glasses off, she shuffled towards the food. The food that she wouldn’t eat anyways, which was very unlike Em. But, in a very Em like fashion, she managed to bump into someone and trip on her way to the food. Landing on the ground, knocking her glasses off, she just sat there a minute. She wanted to just sit here and cry now… why was she always doing this? But, No, no. She was in public there were people around, and she had to apologize. Looking up at the boy, she smiled weakly. ”I’m SO sorry.”

Alyssa turned around when a familiar voice called out her last name. It was Professor Flamstead! Was he congratulating her? 'I mean how many Potters are there playing Quidditch? Just Wade and I, right?' Alyssa thought to herself.

"Oh thanks Professor. Did you enjoy watching the game?" she asked interested to know whether he always liked the game.

He was here. He was... nearly... late but he was here.

And there were quite a few people here already. BLINK.

Alec peeked into the tent and looked around, his eyebrows raising slightly. There had to be food here, right? It was the only way in which so many students could have made it here so early. Or had they been early? He... didn't exactly know since he had spent a good amount of time by himself just... thinking and mentally preparing himself and making sure his hair was ruffled perfectly.

The fifteen year old cleared his throat quietly before moving away from the edge of the tent entrance. Right. He was just going to go in there and... head for the food first. Because Quidditch and not eating very much beforehand thanks to nerves sort of made you ten times hungrier afterwards. Plus, he didn't think any of the Ravenclaws wanted to speak to him at the current time. Maybe later. As for the Hufflepuffs... would they want to be hugged again? Now that they weren't sweaty and as hurt as before?

And the other two teams... yeah... they wouldn't mind getting hugs as well, right? All was good, yeah?

Shrugging, the Hufflepuff ruffled his hair again before walking over towards the food tables. A grin started to spread itself across the boy's face as he neared closer and closer towards the table. Cupcakes! And biscuits! AND CANDY! Perfect! The boy grabbed up a yellow cupcake and bit into it.

Nom nom nom...

Belle decided to go down to the pitch to see what the hype was all about. She heard her fellow puffs and captain had won the quidditch cup. Belle wanted to go congratulate them herself.

As she made her way towards the tent, she noticed it was packed already. Belle saw Alec over by the cupcake table. Typical Alec.....XD. Belle went over and ruffled his hair. "Congrats you little rugrat." she even bear hugged him.

Then Belle went to go find the captain. Once Belle found her, she realized she was being crowded already. She tapped her shoulder. "Congrats Nessie on the win. Good work with your team." she smiled and hugged her.

Belle also went to find Ella. She had to congratulate her too. Belle looked around and tried to find her and the rest of the teammates.

Oomph. And Anya was being dragged through the tent. "Fancy. Right." she said before even looking around. Ooooh. He was right. It was fancy. Like... wedding fancy. In fact, she was pretty sure she'd seen this exact set up at a wedding before.

She grabbed a beverage as they passed the table. "Yeah. Sounds great." she said as they walked toward a table. ... she then casually lifted up his arm and took a bite of the cupcake in his hand. Hehehe. Yum. Boyfriends were totally convenient.

Anya then blinked. Several times when someone magically appeared on the floor. ... ... She looked around. Erm... ... ... someone should do something.

As Minerva talked to her housemates she noticed a lone Ravenclaw walk into the tent and a smile crossed her face. She tugged at the jacket she was wearing knowing that the person that owned this jacket had just entered. She watched as he made his way to the table of food, so she turned back to the group just as Alec joined the group. "Alec.. You amazing seeker you.. You were just fantastic today, congrats!" She ruffled his hair and realized he had gotten taller throughout the year. Wow he wasn't so much her little brother badger anymore.

She then noticed another player standing with the group, she didn't know this one very well, just like the mean beater player she introduced herself to earlier. Oh wait this was the cheap shot boy that hit Ethan after he was hit by the bludger. She glared at him a bit and then decided to speak, "I don't know if we have met, I'm Minerva. Congrats on the win.." She eyed him more wanting so badly to say more, but just then Ethan walked over and offered a cookie. Giving one last glance towards the boy Minerva gave Ethan a thoughtful smile. "You okay?" She knew she had helped him a bit after the match, but she just wanted to check again. Giving him a cautious hug, not to hurt his already hurt ribs, "You were great today." Then she whispered in his ear, "If you really don't want to be here we can leave, I just wanted to say hi to a few people and well congratulate my team." Yes, she hated saying that since they did beat him, but they were her team after all. Oh and that reminded her, turning to Alec again.. "Alec.. I need to make sure you officially meet someone.. This is Ethan, you know the boyfriend I've been talking about all year." She smiled back at Ethan, "Ethan this is Alec, he pretty much is my little brother around here."

Just as she was talking she heard Belle come up, "Hey Belle, long time no see." Minerva chuckled since she was sitting with her at the match earlier, "Thanks for sitting with me and putting up with me through all my crazy when Ethan was hurt." Yes she knew she was a bit of a panic, but she had her reasons and they were good reasons.

She bounced on the balls of her feet and just stood there. "Did ya see my wave - I waved to you...and I was so nervous? Was it obvious?" Then with a laugh she smiled over to Messer - a slight smirk on her face.

"Hey at least I didn't fall asleep this time?" she asked with a laugh on her face. Looking up she spotted Lexa and WAVED to her. "LEXA" she squealed and smiled over to her.

Now...all she needed to do was to find Lottie and give her a compliment.

The food table looked like it had everything you could ever want. Speaking of food, her stomach was grumbling.

"Thanks! It was a really great match." Close one too. Oh and the season as a whole had been pretty brilliant so Ella was all smiles...and smirks today, apparently.



"UNCLEEEEEEEEEEEE MESSSSSSSSSSSYYY!" Did she mention she really liked his enthusiasm? Cause like...she totally did. "Thanks! I um... could have been better but I tried so..." Shrug. "It was a great game, yeah?" Just stating the facts and all. Oh and hugs? She could do hugs. The blonde winced the tiniest bit but made no other indication she was hurting as she hugged her friend back tightly. "Thanks for coming to watch, Mess. Did you bring your pom poms and everything?" Giggle!

And then Ella spotted Nessie talking to...O___O KURUMI!?! It was Kurumi, wasn't it? But...Sir Treyen didn't tell Ella that Kurumi was coming so...this was a BIG surprise!

"Hey Nessie!" BEAM! And her captain got a side-hug and a very broad smile. "You look nice!" Really, very fancy and badgertastic if Ella did say so herself. "KURUMI!" Bounce! "I didn't know you were coming! It's GREAT to see you!" And of course her long lost cookie making, yearbook editing, dragon baby studying friend got hugs too. Oh and Selina was here too. The blonde was pretty sure the older red head wasn't a hugger so instead, Ella gave her an awkward but friendly pat on the arm. "Hello, Ms. Head Girl!" GRIN! "Nice to see you!"

Mika glanced up to Ella after the hug thing happened and just raised her eyebrow a bit. Was that a smirk? Oh goodness that made her take a moment to work on her face. Ya know - not be all pink faced would be a good idea. She skrewed up her face a bit and glanced over to Ella as it she knew something was different.

She was glad that Ella appreciated her caring about her. "Well seriously if you feel worse tomorrow just let me know...maybe owl me and I'll grab Tilstorm for you if needed." She offered and was glad really her face was no longer hot.

She gave Ella a little sly look as she brought up food. "thank you" she whispered to Ella and smiled a bit more. "Food does sound good" she admitted with a laugh.

Mika just looked raised an eyebrow as Kaiden said that her commentating was distracting. "Well yeah I didn't tell many people...I think I told Ella and Blue - yeah and that was it." She giggled a little nervously. Stop giggling. "I was really nervous with the um...commenting things" she admitted sheepishly.

When the topic of food was brought up Mika had thought Ella had meant to get some...information for her - but nope, someone had other plans. Her wrist was being held. HELD by someone.

She glanced at Kaiden and raised an eyebrow up at him. Seriously. He was pulling her to get food. Not that she cared. She was just on cheek-color patrol right now. She turned to look for Ella spotted Alec.

"Wait. Alec. He should come with us!" She waved her free-arm which meant twisting around so she was facing him which also meant that she was kind of leaning into Kaiden's shoulder.

And the other two teams... yeah... they wouldn't mind getting hugs as well, right? All was good, yeah?

Shrugging, the Hufflepuff ruffled his hair again before walking over towards the food tables. A grin started to spread itself across the boy's face as he neared closer and closer towards the table. Cupcakes! And biscuits! AND CANDY! Perfect! The boy grabbed up a yellow cupcake and bit into it.

Nom nom nom...

"ALEC! ALEC!" She was squealed, "Congratulations on the game Alec!" she flushed a bit as she realized she was still leaning against Kaiden a bit. And then she twisted back around so she wasn't facing Alec anymore.

Now she wasn't leaning against Kaiden though...sooooooooo things were less awkward.

Was it awkward that he was here? He felt kind of awkward.

About an hour ago, Milton had been in detention, thus missing the biggest and LAST quidditch game of the season, completely deserting his team to fend for themselves. And, of course, they lost, but for some reason Milton wasn't even that bitter about it. He had a good team and a good term and he was just in a rather good mood, surprisingly enough.

Casually entering the tent, Milton immediately headed for the cupcakes. DUH. He took an enormous bite.... and then stuffed the rest into his face. Nom nom nom.

Then he took a cookie and looked around as he tried to swallow the large amount of cupcake in his mouth. As he looked around, he spotted someone who definitely looked like... they needed cookie in their hair. Oh, BRILLIANT idea, Milton, wow.

Milton smirked at the back of Alice's head several feet away, broke off a chunk of cookie and tossed it right into her hair.

SNICKER SNICKER HEHEHE.

Violet couldn't have been any prouder than THIS moment to be a Hufflepuff. To be part of a house that was always misconstrued as the least important, or the Loser House, or being constantly asked what a Hufflepuff is. And at that moment when the announcer had shouted that Hufflepuff had won the Quidditch match, she was practically flipping when she was in the Quidditch stands in her Puff Pride Cheering Outfit. It was sort of an almost, "HA WHAT NOW?!" moment that she wished she could scream, but alas being raised as proper & polite young woman, she knew better.

...But it doesn't mean she wasn't thinking it...

..But anyways..

Now here she was, entering the Tent for Celebrating Hufflepuff's win once again! Dressed in a soft yellow collar dress, with flowers adorned in her hair. She couldn't help but feel happier than she had been in the past couple of months. And this celebration was just as thrilling to her as it was last term when she was actually on the team. For she felt like this was a last gift to her emotionally to see her House come out on top once more! But sadly, this did mean that the term was practically over & Violet would going on to better things. It was all still trying to settle in Violet's frantic mind. She was excited for this new adventure, but scared to enter this new world. Happy that she could be pursuing her dream, but sad to leave this happy life at Hogwarts behind her. But she still had a little time before that all would change..

Violet looked around the big tent seeing all of the bright happy faces of her fellow housemates and her other classmates. She smiled at each of them as she walked by them. But she was really searching out the select number of people in her mind. Sadly she wasn't seeing them right away, so she figured she would go and have a little snack before she ventured around the tent to find them.

As she was on her way towards the area where the cupcakes were being served, she had caught sight of Milton Shacklebolt throwing something at someone. She winced her eyes briefly to see what it was being thrown, and suddenly her eyes then widened a little bit when she figured out it was a cookie being thrown. She gasped and shook her head disappointingly and thought to herself how utterly rude to do such a thing. But she decided today was not the day to scold anyone, for this was a day for CELEBRATION!

And this would all happen...as soon as she had a cupcake! Which she didn't take long at all to bite into once she had her hands on one.

You know, the usual: shorts, sneakers, tank top. Normal spring/summer clothes...except for the knit sweater she was wearing on top of it. But it was cooler than she expected. OF COURSE, she was still wearing the silver ribbon Lex had given her, and it matched the silver sweater perfectly!

Speaking of matching things perfectly...or not..., "That is the brightest shade of everything I have ever seen, Professor Flamsteed," and the tone (plus the wrinkling of the nose) suggested it was NOT a compliment.

NO.

Alyssa looked up from her eating to smile at Minerva returning her hug. "Hey thanks Minerva. I agree it definitely feels awesome retaining the Quidditch Cup." Alyssa hadn't played last year but she had heard that Minerva had played in the final game. "So are you going to try out next term? The team missed you this term." Alyssa asked her friend. Then she noticed Minerva looking at Wade. She tilted her head as she listened to what she was saying to him.

"Min, you remember Wade? You met him at the Beginning of Term Feast. He's an awesome Beater. I'm lucky to have him as my fellow Beater. Both of us had a couple of hits today....not that we did it to intentionally hit people. It's just the game. I always feel bad when I hit someone." Alyssa told her...not that she needed to explain. Everyone knew that Beaters were just doing what they were supposed to do...even though they didn't like hurting people.

....Yep...she just remembered that she hadn't apologized to Elise for hitting her with her bludger. Alyssa made it a point to look for her later. But right now it was time to fill her tummy. Alyssa began eating again.



Just as she was about to bite into her cupcake, Alyssa noticed Belle. "Hey Belle glad to see you here. Did you watch the game?" Alyssa asked her.

Just when Kat was starting to feel like a loner, she heard someone call her name. The Slytherin noticed the voice. Who else could possibly own that voice? She looked around and saw her fake yet almost as real as a true sister. "Hey Lex!" she replied to the younger Gryffindor with a smile. Yeah, Gryffindors AND Slytherins could be friends too right? Obviously, because the Snake Captain is like inseparable from the Lion Head Girl. Plus the two houses sort of just clicked and stuff, because Kat liked some of them namely Alice and Penelope and of course, her pseudo!sister.

Great game. All Quidditch matches were great, generally speaking. Who didn't like Quidditch anyway? That would be... awful. Kat did not want to know who did and did not like the magical sport. Nope, no thanks. "Yeah, it was great," she nodded. "Both the seekers were... really good too." Alec though. That kid was just pure fast and... there wasn't even an appropriate adjective to describe him. The Ravenclaw seeker was good too, able to take a snitch from Alec. It counted as something right?

So uhm. To continue the conversation... "You still playing Quidditch for next term?" she asked. Kind of like a 'you're trying out again right?' thing. Cos Kat was, and she wouldn't want to miss it anyway. But then again, who would?

Kat didn't forget to congratulate the Puffers you know. She was such a good sport and she wouldn't want to be thought as someone so bitter about losing the Quidditch cup. The Gobstones cup, Slytherin could have it. At least they got a cup for themselves, right? There's always a bright side to everything. SNORT.

"Congrats on the win, Hufflepuff!" the Slytherin said to no one in particular, but the crowd would surely know who she addressed that to. The Puffers Quidditch team, duuuuuh. Though her friends would get a special congrats... only if they knew her and she knew them too. For reasons.

Theo thought, since he was completely alone, that he would shove a further three tiny!cakes in his mouth. He did hear a familiar voice, but they weren't addressing him apparently, so Theo ignored it completely. But they weren't going away, and then it all clicked. Thinsley. Probably his most ridiculous nickname given by the most ridiculous person. "Alliot." He nodded lazily at her. "Oh, okay. I'll go and find her in a sec, does she want any food?" Theo asked, picking up TWO (not three) plates.

Huh? "I haven't seen him at all. Didn't he go somewhere with Bliss?" He wasn't totally sure when he was getting back, or if they were at all even. May as well not since the Quidditch season was over AND the term almost was, too.

The third year looked back at the food table, then looked back to give Alice sneaky side eyes. He knew why she was questioning about West.

WHACK! SMACK!

It didn't take much to knock down the barely 5'3" girl and Selina provided MUCH more than was necessary to do so. So, down she went on her back and seeing fwoopers and stars circling around her head for a few moments before she regained her bearings.

"Ouch..." she mumbled as she removed herself from the ground and rubbed her left elbow. "Areyoustillmadatme?" Was that why she had just been attacked? Oh, no, not that at all. Selina was just being Selina. "You know that makes no sense, right?" Kurumi eyed Selina for a moment and then laughed softly. "Can I get my hug now?"

But before any Selina hugging could happen there were a few more people that stopped by and each brought a smile to her face.

"Nessie! Hey. Congratulations! Lewis and I are both so proud of you," she beamed at the younger girl. OOF. Someone else was hugging her now. "Ella!" she smiled, returning the hug briefly. "I didn't think I would be coming, but Lexi asked me to come with her to help watch her kids so, here I am." She still wasn't entirely sure it had been the right decision to come - seeing certain things just felt like rubbing salt in the wound - but she needed to just desensitize herself. He already had. "You were great out there today."

And then Kurumi saw the cupcakes on the table and bit down hard on her lower lip. Pull yourself together, Hollingberry.

"Lewis sends his regards, by the way, to all of you. He couldn't make it again because he is busy working." Lewis had been working a lot recently, taking on extra hours. Kurumi had told him that he was working too hard, but he said he needed to save for something important.

Oh look! There was Messer! He got a big wave as well.

Airey attention turned to the two Hufflepuff Chasers who were insulting his suit in their own subliminal way. Raising en eyebrow, and not noticing that he had a bit of cupcake frosting stuck to his cheek, he eyed the two curiously before Miss Ella spoke. "Thank you, Miss Ella," he grinned while tugging on his jacket a bit.

Well, someone was excited to have won. "Yes, Mr. Yarborough, I did see. Perhaps you should consider a career in Quidditch after Hogwarts?" Because he would love to be able to go to a match and point to a student on the pitch and say that they were once his student. He would feel much better about that sort of thing than he did about astronauts he trained.

He never dreamed of becoming a Quidditch player after all.

And yes, the Professor Space Man received a small chuckle before his attention was drawn elsewhere. Really? Miss Wisteria was subtly insulting his suit as well? Hmph. Weren't Miss Wisteria and Mr. Yarborough were a pair of badger party poopers.

Pair. Heh.

"Yellow does tend to be a bright and warm color," he said with a small wink. "Not the warmest when it comes to stars, however."

Really? Couldn't the man leave the astronomy talk at the door? This was a Quidditch celebration man!

"I always enjoy watching Quidditch, Miss Potter," he exclaimed while grinning from ear to ear. "But I must admit it is more exciting watching these sort of matches since you are all my students. You all seem to take on a completely different persona while on the pitch." Fascinating to watch really.

Oh! Look over there! The Hufflepuff captain and the little Seeker boy. Fresh cupcake in hand, Airey began to walk towards the captain first. "Miss Dixon, congratulations on a well played season and a well trained team," he said with a grin and a quick pat on her shoulder before moving on.

"Mr. Summers!" he man!chirped while ruffling the boy's hair. "Well played! Well played indeed! I don't know too many that can fly like an eagle and not be one." Heh, did the boy get the joke? He was a Hufflepuff after all and sometimes he was unsure of how much wit they could understand. So the boy received some more hair ruffling for good measure.

So Ms. Head Girl was laughing at her...and she looked uncomfortable too. WHOOPS! Ella scuffed her toe and smiled sheepishly. "I...erm sorry! I just didn't think you were a hugger so erm...hence the arm pat." Shuffle. "I take it that wasn't good either, yeah?" From now on the blonde was going to assume the older girl was more of a look but don't touch type of person. ..Yeah. ”Oh um…and really great season, by the way. You’re a really scary beater.” Oh Merlin, that didn’t exactly sound like a compliment, did it? >.< ”I meant that in the best way, y’know.” Just saying.




"I'm really glad you're here, Kurumi!" BEAM! "It's been so long and we missed you around here!" Just saying. And no, not just because of the delicious cookies though Ella missed those too. "Don't worry, I'm doing my best to keep the yearbook going and erm...hopefully I'm making you proud." And Kurumi thought she'd done a good job today? "That's um...well I didn't...erm thanks! The team played really well together."

And no Sir Lewis today? FROWN. "Will you tell him I said hi?" And that his hair and abs were lovely?

"You're welcome, Sir. I appreciate the color choice." Being a Hufflepuff and all. Grin! "Oh and Sir? Erm..." And Ella wiggled her finger for him to come a bit closer and then whispered, "You've got a bit of frosting on your cheek. Just there." Point. Helpful Ella was helpful.



"Really, the edge of your seat?" GRIN! That's what Ella liked to hear. She liked to imagine the people watching really enjoying the match. Close ones were the best kind to watch, yeah?

No room for candy?! BLINK. "I'm sure you'll manage, Lex. You're a candy eating pro practically." And if that was a job, she was sure Alexa would be like the Head of that company. "Haven't tried the cupcakes yet but I'm definitely going to. I'm starvingggg!" Quidditch would do that to a girl, y'know.



"Hey Min!" Grin! "Oh I'm alright. A bit sore but I guess that's normal, yeah?" Getting hit by a bludger was never exactly a pleasant experience. "Thanks for checking, though." BEAM! "Yeah, bludgers aren't the nicest thing but the keep the game...interesting, I guess." Well, as long as they stayed FARRRRR away from Alec. Mhm. Then they were good.




Mika…her hair was…did she know it was a bit different now? Ella just sort of raised her eyebrows at her friend and tugged at her own hair, trying to point things out to Mika without making a scene. Stealth, remember? ”Thanks Mika, I’ll keep you posted. I think I’ll be just fine after some rest…and maybe some food.” Preferably a lot of food, the delicious kind mostly.

As for Kaiden, he seemed to only have just noticed she was standing there. Heh. Someone was distracted by someone else and this made Ella smile. ”I didn’t eat much this morning either…nerves and such.” But he was right, they should eat now. Mika seemed to like the idea too and Ella shrugged and smiled when the blonde thanked her. You’re Welcome she mouthed in reply when Kaiden was looking away.

But…Kaiden kind of ruined the whole talking about Mika thing when he started dragging both of them towards the food table. Okay…she’d have to speak to him later then?

Boyfriend! BEAM!

Ella let Kaiden drag them over to the table as Alec was already standing there and the blonde just sort of smiled sheepishly at the hair ruffler. Was it too soon for more hugs or?

“Hey Alec!” Grin! Oh and she’d need her hand back now, thank you very much. Removing it gently from Kaiden’s grasp, the fifteen year old smiled at her housemate and then walked over to her boyfriend and nudged him in the arm. ”Cool party, yeah? The food looks nice.” Oh and he did too, in case he didn’t know. ”I really like your shirt.” Nod. It suited him. “Erm so…how you feeling, seeker?” Because he looked…nervous for some reason? Or maybe that was just the overly ruffled hair…



Belle? Ella spotted the older girl looking around and waved at her. “Hey there!” BEAM! “How are you, Belle? Did you see the match? It was a really great game, yeah?” Bounce.Bounce.Bounce. Could she tell Ella was a bit excited?




And then Ella heard someone calling out congratulations and the blonde stood on her tiptoes, spotting Kat. “Thanks Kat!” BEAM! “You guys played brilliantly this term as well, y’know.” And she’d cheered for the blonde on multiple occasions. Ella wasn’t as good as Kat keeper-wise but she was working on it and it was definitely something to strive towards.

It was Ella's Hufflepuff big sister and she couldn't be happier to see the older girl. The little blonde's lips curved into a smile and she quickly headed over to the older badger, wrapping her up in a hug. "VI!" GRIN! "You're here!"

"She wants a butterbeer. Just a butterbeer. Dora's not real hungry, I guess." Alice stared back at him with unblinking eyes, wondering how he fit that much food in his mouth. Had he put the expansion charm on that, too? Was that possible? Professor Bellaire really needed to start specifying these things, because most of her questions came after the lessons were over, anyways.

He went somewhere. With Bliss. "He did?" So.. he wasn't even there. "You should tell Dora that, too. 'Cause she was the one who wanted to find him, anyway," she added hastily. Just in case he was wondering, because Alice obviously didn't care where West was. Obviously. Why would she? And why was he looking at her like that? "Got something in your eye, Thinsley?" He could get that out himself, k? Her job here was done.

She turned away from Dora's man candy and started focusing on food once more, only to be PELTED with COOKIE CHUNKS. What was with people today, really? "OI, Shacklebolt," Alice called across the tent, clawing the snack out of her hair and chucking it at him, watching with satisfaction as it bounced off his shiny bald head. "You should come sit with me. Give me lonely Captain support and all that." She could have a moody buddy. That sounded good to her. And after, when Dora asked if she'd found a Ravenclaw, she could say yes.

Suddenly, a wild redhead appeared.

Now, Jake knew quite a few redheads. And at first Jake thought it was Selina that he'd tripped. He looked around, momentarily distracted by Anya grabbing his hand - "Hey, that's my cupcake." - to see someone on the ground by his feet that was definitely not the Head Girl.

"Err..." He glanced at Anya... who was doing... nothing. He sighed. Giving the rest of his cupcake to his girlfriend, he squatted down next to the girl and offered a hand. "No, no, I wasn't watching where I was going," he said in response to her apology. Although... it probably was her fault she'd landed on the ground like that. Jake hadn't done anything. Still, it was nice to apologize. Not to mention the girl looked like she was about to burst out in tears and Jake really didn't want to deal with that.



As he straightened up, Jake's eyes fell on someone else who he recognized. Standing at the other end of the cupcake table was Milton Shacklebolt. Who was... throwing things. Jake's eyes narrowed as he watched the bit of cookie fly through the air and land on... Alice.

Glare. At Milton.

Reaching over slowly to the cupcake table, Jake picked up one of the treats and held it in his hand. He tested its weight, trying to figure out how hard he'd have to throw it to make it across the table. When he was satisfied, he swung his arm back and tossed the cupcake frosting-first at the back of the Ravenclaw's head. As it arched through the air Jake thought a few things quickly. 1.) That's what you GET for throwing things at Ali. 2.) I wonder if it'll stick... And 3.) I hope no one's watching.

Quickly, he turned away from the Quidditch captain and tried to look busy with the two girls standing by him. If anyone asked, it was an experiment to see if the cupcake stuck to the back of Milton's bald head like it would to a wall. Pure science.

"Oh, cool." Theo put one plate down and stacked his own plate up first. Alice was looking at him funny but instead of giving her a look back, he stood on his tip toes to find Dora. "I still can't see her." And this was, apparently, ALL ALICE'S FAULT.

GRRR.

"Yeah, Bliss had to go cos her dad is sick and West went with her." Like a true gent. Theo let out a snort, and spat a little, when Alice said that it was Dora looking for him. "SURE it was." His little eyes went all suspicious and sneaky again.

He wanted her to know that he knew things.

She should know that West would tell him anyway...
But still.... SNEAKY EYES.
