A set of paths link the courtyard to various areas of the grounds. It's nice to walk along either on your own or with a friend. The trees on either side of the path help to create a light atmosphere. So go on, take your time and soak up the fresh air, heaven knows students need it.
Okay, so it was clear that hadn't worked. He smiled apologetically at her and put his hands into his pockets. "Sorry, doesn't mean it's not true though." He looked down at her, hoping she'd understand that he truly meant she didn't need to spend ages getting ready. Each and every female was naturally beautiful to him, it was just that most of them didn't know it.
"Eh, not really." He shrugged, not understanding people's peanut butter obsession. Ed nodded at her not being picky. That was good, being picky didn't make life easy at all. "I think I understand. I like nuts, but not peanut butter." It just tasted different to him.
Sutton couldn't help but let an embarrassed smile creep onto her face as she looked away from his gaze. With a giggle, she responded, "Okay... it worked that time..." She knew that he was just saying such a thing for her benefit, but that didn't mean it was any less sweet.
Shaking her head at him not liking peanut butter, she just smiled a little. "Well, one of those nights when we stay up all night in the Common Room talking, we will have to go to the kitchens and make the house elves crazy by asking for tons of different kinds of ice cream and toppings," she said nodding and smiling as she imagined the elves running around making them their ice cream from scratch.
Maxwell smiled. "You don't have to thank me for anything, i do it because i care about you.." He said and sighed just a little. "Tay...After all this i'm not sure we'll work again, and it doesn't have anything to do with your memory loss...it's the secrecy of it, it's driving me mad...i hate not being able to talk to mom or Ariana or someone about things and i think if we tell them they won't be supportive of us...besides i think you deserve someone a little better than me.." He said not wanting to hurt her but he'd just had so much going on...
Tay smiled, "I agree. We wouldnt work... I dont want to date anyone right now with the who memory loss thing. With you being my stepbrother and my best friend, it might be a tad bit awkward as well..." Taylor laughed and looked at him. She kissed his cheek and smiled at him.

Maxwell nodded. "Yeah..i think it's best...but I'm happy there's no hard feelings for anything.." He said hugging her. "Do the missing memories make feelings hard?" He asked.

Tay hugged him back then nodded, "Yeah, it does..." She sighed. Taylor grimaced and laid her head on his chest in a sisterly way.

"Trying to carry three animals and keeping hold of the stupid thing was difficult." Damon shook his head, "My cat, puff, and owl... Not much fun."
Ronnie frowned, putting a hand on her friends shoulder. "I can understand. I'm real sorry, Damon." she said. "I'm always here for you, alright?" she said, giving him a warm smile.
"Wow, that's a lot." she said, raising an eyebrow. He seemed to be real down right now, she really needed to cheer the poor guy up. "Hey," she said as an idea popped into her head, "I'm getting a little hungry. Wanna go to the kitchen and get a little something?"

YAY. He'd redeemed himself! He beamed at her proudly and kept walking along happily, glad that he'd managed to claw some dignity back from that little fail.
"Oh, definitely. I wanna ask for all the flavours except the every flavour. I'm brave, but not THAT brave." He'd tried the every flavour twice and both times had come worse off. Just the memory was enough to make him gag. "We could ask for chocolate and sweets and marshmallows and anything we can think of." Mmmm, sounded like a great night by the fire. Maybe a Friday or Saturday night, then he could sleep during the next day.

Sutton giggled as he listed off all of the food they should get from the kitchens for their Common Room camp out. This definitely sounded like it was going to be QUITE the ordeal... and like it might be more fun with other people, too... but not too many people, and not everyone because then it woud just turn into a loud, crazy party and that wasn't what Sutton wanted. She would have to think very carefully about the guest list, for sure. "What's every flavor ice cream?" she asked Ed with a curious look on her face. It was probably exactly what it sounded like, but maybe she was wrong. With so many flavors of ice cream, how could they have a flavor that was actually all the flavors...?

In a way, now that they were planning it out loud, Ed wished Isaac and Nell were puffs. It'd make this whole thing even more fun if they all sat around chatting with each other and telling funny stories. Sutton's question distracted Ed from his thoughts and he smiled down at her. "Well, you know Bertie Bott's every flavour beans?" Of course she did, everyone did! "Well, they put that flavouring into the ice cream and it's like playing 'guess the flavour and try not to gag when you get a bad one', which isn't always fun." Nope, especially the nasty flavours.

Sutton made a face of mild disgust as he explained about every flavor ice cream. That had not really been what she had been expecting. She had tried some Bertie Bott's since her time at Hogwarts began, and thus far she had been fortunate, but she had certainly heard the horror stories. "Whyyyy would they do that to iiiice cream?! That's not fun or entertaining that's just... just... sacrilege and blasphemy. No one should be allowed to mess up ice cream like that. Like, what if you got a REALLY disgusting flavor, and then you couldn't ever bring yourself to eat ice cream again?! That would be so... sad!" she said in a mock ofended tone as the path turned and started taking them back toward the castle.

Wow. Her response was a slight... overreaction. Keeping a poker face as she ranted about the flavours, he nodded. Let her get it out of her system. Once she finished, he grinned at her and admitted something. "I've had a disgusting flavour. It's why I don't eat the ice cream. With the beans, you can usually smell them to try and decide if you're brave enough or not, but the ice cream is extremely unpredictable." He would never be put off ice cream, not even by Bertie Bott. He looked up at the magnificent castle when the path took them round there and put his hands into his pockets. Yes, he really was here!

Poor Waful had been cooped up for so long, that he actually wanted to get away and soar high and do some work! So he was really glad when the shop lady chose him to take the letter and the package to Hogwarts. Yes, the package appeared heavy, no.. it WAS heavy. But Waful didn't mind, Hooting softly, he flew and flew and reached the magical school.
Now to find the two students he needed.. Where would they be? With so many girl and boy persons out and about, an owl could easily find it difficult to spot the person they were delivering their letter to. But not Waful. Not difficult for him!
Ah! Yes.. there they were! Spotting who he was searching for, Waful gracefully descended, placing the package on the ground besides them.
"Hoo!" Treat please! Staaaaare!

"Hoo!" he hooted again to get their attention. He deserved treats, no?

Sutton nodded as he explained the difference between the jelly beans and the ice cream. That just seemed like such a crime. Poor ice cream... made to taste disgusting. Sutton glanced at him and then followed his gaze back toward the castle. Giggling, she gave him another playful shove and said, "Race you back to the Common Room!" And then she was off, running through the grounds.

Oh, she wanted to race? He smirked and immediately set off at a run, chasing her even though she probably only knew this place as well as him. Oh well. If they got lost, at least they'd have each other to try and work it out!

November already. It was kind of insane how fast the term was going already. Milton was enjoying it, though, for the most part. As he walked down the pathway, Milton tucked his hands into his coat pockets. Most of his time these days were spent with Quidditch, homework, and Taryn.
It was enjoyable, but he still wished things between him and Anya were the same. They always said nothing would change between them, but... When was the last time he had spoken to her? Two weeks ago? Maybe more? And stolen glances in classrooms or hallways didn't count.
Trudging down the pathways, his hands were in his pockets, to keep them from freezing. He really did hate the chill in the air this time of year! He wouldn't mind passing it up for some nice summer sun. Sighing he felt foolish with wearing a scarf and mittens so he just didn't. Being the only kid around with them on looked really stupid. So instead he'd worn a sweater, shirt and tshirt underneath his warmest robes that weren't winter ones.
He couldn't bring himself to stay in the castle though he wanted to be out in the fall air, despite the cold.

Arabella-Marie was walking about the pathways when she wasn't paying attention where she was going and bumped into a fellow seventh year from what it looked like and said "Sorry was not paying attention to where i was walking"

Oops, his hand went up hoping to prevent her from falling after bumping into him. "No worries at all." he said kindly. "Nice day fer a stroll." he said lamely, "Erm, I'm Isaac." he said introducing himself. That was the gentlemanly thing to do right? Yep, made sense, though most likely she was going to be just off and continuing her walk.

Trees. Trees were nice. And secluded. Anya headed down the pathway in a hoodie much too large for her. She had the hood pulled up all the way and her vision was blocked except for exactly two feet in front of her.
Someone may ask why a girl like Anya was wearing such attire or why a girl like Anya was walking alone. Of course Anya didn't have an answer to either. It was just one of those days where she felt like dressing in clothes that looked liked they'd swallowed her whole.
And given that her vision was blocked, she didn't even notice the other person on the pathway until they'd actually collided.
"Oomph." Anya said hitting the ground with a soft thud. She pulled back her hood wondering if she'd hit a person or a tree.
And when she pulled back her hood, she stared blankly right in front of her.
At a tree.
Smooth move Phillips.

Abby finally came to a stop in the middle of the pathways, feeling exhausted. She'd covered three miles and that was more than enough exercise for a day. The weather was a little chilly to be running around the grounds early in the morning but she needed to stay in shape. Unfortunately, there was no gym around here. One more reason why she didn't like this place. Meh.
After a moment of trying to catch her breath, she walked over to a patch of grass nearby and sat down. She stretched her legs out in front of her and relaxed. This felt good.

Returning her smile, with one of his own he nodded slightly "Pleasure's all mine." Yep, he enjoyed meeting fellow students especially ones from his own year, as it appeared Arabella was in. "Seventh year aren' ye?"
Come now maybe there was something he could do with the book? If was just a bunch of numbers that was kind of like Arithmancy then there wasn't anything to hide. "What have you figured out from it then?"
He looked to the book then back at Gwendolyn. Why was she being so distant about a bunch of numbers? Oakey just had to know.
Hmph. Oakey was still not giving up. Gwen just raised an eyebrow at the Hufflepuff. ‘It’s my problem what I managed to figure out so far’, she said, trying not to roll her eyes. ‘And this shouldn’t be more difficult than calculating the life path number’ Right. Shouldn’t. Though it was quite hard to crack that code.
Anyway...
‘I think I can deal with it myself’ Of course she could deal with it. She had managed to find the method to crack the code, so it couldn’t be very complicated to figure out the rest. But for now, she needed a break.

It wasn't a race. That's what Vivi had to remind herself every time she turned a curve on the pathways and spotted someone ahead of her - no matter who it might be. She wasn't competing, rather she was trying to get ready for what she anticipated to be a grueling training should she make the program next year.
It was hard to be disciplined about something so boring, and it would be worse when the weather turned, but Vivi needed to get into the habit of running to increase her endurance. Sigh. But it was rather boring, especially when she passed the same couple of students over and over again. Did no one have to be somewhere?
When she finally caught up to the person ahead of her, Vivi was delighted to find she'd been chasing Hasty all over the grounds. Or not chasing, really, since it wasn't a race. Vivi dropped down beside the girl and flopped back into the grass.
"Ugh." That was breathless talk for 'hey there, old friend.'
