Harvey smiled as she blushed, he wasn't expecting that now he was sure she felt that blushing was a big deal but he would ask her later after he stopped looking at the picture. "Well I think that it is good, maybe I haven't seen enough drawings" he chuckled "You sure you don't want to keep it, you can keep it if you want, honest! he smiled as he looked at her

Tay smiled, "Well, thank you." She giggled and hugged him. "You are cheering me up, Harvs!" Taylor's smile grew, "Nah, I mean if you dont want it I will but i dont mind you having it if you wish."

Oh, the professor was a lady? Ed nodded interestedly. "Well, I throw tennis balls at a target as part of my morning routine, so I should be okay there." He didn't want to go into this game at a TOTAL disadvantage. "Sounds like an interesting game though." Oh yeah, he liked accurancy, strength and speed.

Her explanation made him chuckle. "I don't know why you say 'obviously' like it's a bad thing." He couldn't stand people taking hours to get ready. If he was going somewhere, he liked to get there on the same day.

Oooh. His favourite snack? Ed frowned thoughtfully. "I dunno, I eat practically anything." He shrugged with a grin, noticing her excitment about the food talk. "And your favourite snack?"

Truth be told, Gwendolyn was hoping that the Hufflepuff would change the subject. Anything would do, as long as he wouldn’t be asking about the diary. No such luck. In the next moment, the Ravenclaw heard him say something. He could help. The fifth year just raised an eyebrow at him, but didn’t say anything…because Oakey continued talking.

‘Neither am I’, the Ravenclaw said curtly. ‘I appreciate it-‘ NOT ‘-but I don’t need any help with it’ Thank you very much. Hmph. Now maybe he would quit asking about it, yes? Anyway, since she managed to figure out the method to crack the code, things shouldn’t be so hard from here. Nothing that she couldn’t deal with.

Sutton couldn't help but be happy that he was excited to learn to play softball. Finally, someone in this school actually had something they wanted to learn from her, and for once maybe she wouldn't be so clueless. "Well, sometimes it can be a bad thing... not taking time to get ready... like when..." you're walking through the grounds with cute older boy "you are out with your friends and they decide they want to take pictures together." Although, boys probably didn't really do that... it seemed to be more of a girl thing.

"Hmm..." she said as he turned her own question back on her. "I like ice cream... with chocolate in it... but not chocolate ice cream, there's a difference," she laughed again smiling up at him.

Harvey smiled as she thanked him, before hugging him. Yup this was the Taylor that had been lost but was now found! "Well I am glad I am, cause I mean that's the whole point of me being here right? To cheer up my sis!" he said officially setting it in words that they were Hogwart's siblings! He watched as her smile grew, and he smiled back "You keep it, I know what I look like.. maybe something to remember me by when we on summer break" he smiled knowing it was quite early to be talking about summer but since she has the picture now he thought he would say it anyways. Before adding "You can make me another one later, I might need your talents later" if he solves the mystery of the first picture.

Tay smiled at him officially making them hogwarts siblings, "I am soooo glad that I met you." She laughed, "Okay, I shall keep it then." Taylor raised an eyebrow, "Already thinking of getting rid of me during summer?" Tay was, of course, teasing him. She nodded, "Well, my talents is at your dispoal then, bro." Tay smiled at him then sighed, "I have a quick question though?"

He looked down at her curiously, but then nodded at her explanation. "I can understand that." Girl stuff, right? Heh. Just nod and agree. Nod and agree.

"Oh! Yeah, I know the difference. I love ice cream." It was such a beautiful invention. Whoever had first made ice cream deserved a seriously big kiss. Mhmm. "I love my mint chop chip ice cream. And cookie dough." Mmmm. Ice cream was GOOD. "But do you like chocolate sauce on it too?" The answer always had to be yes, right?!

Harvey smiled as she said that she as glad she met him "Me too Taylor" he smiled as she said that she would keep the picture, he looked surprised as she teased him "No of course not, just on the off chance that you start to miss this boring brother of yours, thats all! " he chuckled as he joked with her. He smiled as she said her talents were at his disposal "Thanks Taylor" he smiled, she then wanted to ask him a question "Another one? Sure ask away" he smiled as he waited for her to ask him the next question wondering what she wanted to know.

Taylor smiled at him then giggled, "I will always miss you, Harvs." She kissed his cheek. "Anytime, bro." Tay glanced away, "Is it wrong and unfair to think that a person could wait only 2 weeks when they expected you to wait 2 months before?" Taylor didnt look at Harvey but only twisted a blonde curl around her finger.

Harvey chuckled as she giggled "Aww thanks Taylor, and I will miss you too. Afterall who will give me a thousand hugs in a day?" he chuckled jokingly due to her giving him many hugs. She kissed his cheek so she was back to being Taylor again, that was good that meant that he had done a good job at cheering her up. But when she glanced away Harvey knew something was up and when she asked her question he knew why, he shook his head "No it isnt wrong, why would you think that Taylor? If they asked you to wait 2months then of course you would expect them to do the same even more so if its less than what they asked of you" he tried to explain as well as he could in a calm tone and wondered if she understood what he had said.

Tay grimaced at the joke despite knowing that he was doing just that... joking. She sighed and looked at him, "That is what I thought! He thought it was unreasonable for me to be upset about it." There was some tears in her eyes as she sighed again. Taylor looked away again and pulled her legs up, hugging them to her chest. Tay buried her head in her knees and her blonde curls covered her face.

Harvey could see that he had made a wrong turn there as he saw her face grimace at his joke, oops! big oops! He then listened as she gave her opinion, he then watched as she curled up into a ball next to him. What was he supposed to say to that? that Damon was wrong, but she still liked him right? he couldnt exactly say that and take Taylor's side cause they were both his friends "Maybe he was just saying it, maybe he didn't mean it. If he did mean it then maybe he had a reason for thinking that way." he said trying to help as much as he could "Tell you what, just give yourselves time. Give him time and give yourself some time away from each other, you can hang out as friends if you want though. Just need space" he smiled even though she probably didnt see it "Maybe it will fix itself, he may realise that he still likes you and may come back to you. Afterall.. it might just be a crush nothing more" he said, knowing that crushes didnt really last too long.. well thats what he had heard he was not sure.

Taylor straighten up and wiped her tears away. "No." Her face harden a little and became a little emotionless. "I rather not be friends with a jerk who just uses girls." Tay started using her fingers to comb her hair. "He is not good at all and I shall forget all about him." She gave a nod and started blocking her emotions." Taylor did let out a sigh though.

Today's class seemed to drag on forever. Alexa was more than relieved when the Professor gave the go ahead for them to leave. Now her head wouldn't hurt as much. Too much work and no play was definitely a bad thing--well in her case anyway.

Walking down the pathway she found herself gazing distractedly at everything but where she was going until...

Theodore was sore. Oh-so very sore.

He had been to 99% of the tryouts, even though he didn't actually NEED to. Dude, he was on that team already but he just enjoyed the Quidditch so much that he couldn't tear himself away. Besides, the extra sessions had let him improve LOADS. He really COULD be a good chaser this term!!

But back to the point, he hurted, all over.... so when someone BUMPED him, Theo could feel his Slytherin Wrath bubbling over.

"OOOOOOOOOOOOOW." He said, filled with attitude as he turned around. Hmm, this girl - he recognized her. "What do you think you're doin', first year?" OH yeah, Theo went there.

"Oh. It's just you." And here she thought she had hit into someone that might have tried the whole 'I'm older so I get to lecture you thing'.

She made a face at him when he began whining; as if she ran into him that hard. It wasn't like she was speed walking or something, jeez. "Oh hush, I'm sure it doesn't hurt that much." The last thing she needed was a whiny boy right after a long class. If he kept on the way he was going then she was going to get miserable...well...even more miserable than she was already feeling.

Did he just try that whole older thing? Did he really just call her a first year as if he had some kind of high authority when really he was only a year older? "I'm confused. Did I hit you in the head when I ran into you?" Nooooo...she wasn't going to start this. She refused to hassle her brain with an argument at a time like this. "You obviously weren't looking where you were going either so what's got you so preoccupied?" There, she even changed the subject; no one could say she never tried.

He watched her straighten up as she said no, oh boy she was going back into sadness again, he was shocked at what she was saying. He shook his head "Taylor dont say that! Not taking sides here but he didn't use anyone. His heart just changed who it was loyal to, he has done to you what Mins did to me. She was dating me for the second time and we came here for our second year, a month later she tells me she wants to date Justin. So I let her even to this day I don't hate her for breaking my heart, I am still friends with her. Same with Ameliah, your sister, I dont hate her for what she did, or another puff I had dated. Yes I am upset but I dont go hating all my ex-girlfriends. So what I am saying is, as I said before. Give yourself some time to heal a little you are angry and in pain that's why you are saying those words out of anger. " he said to her finally finishing what he wanted to say, it was amazing how many girlfriends he'd had since he joined Hogwarts, if he decided on another girlfriend she would be his fifth in four years, more girlfriends than years at Hogwarts didn't that tell people anything?

Tay sighed and did a facepalm at Harvey at what he said, "I never said he used me, Harvs! He used Mins..." Taylor glanced away then glanced back at him, "Wanna go play chicken with the willow?" She grinned. Yeah, she got the idea from Mins. Tay yawned and rubbed her eyes. "I am tired..." She pouted then said, "I dont hate Damon, Harvs... I just dont like what he did because he was like, 'Oh i love you but have a crush on her.'" Taylor sighed and lean into her brother.

As they walked, heading for the Grounds, Jory was as silent as Ari. He had no idea of what was going on in her head and wanted to know why she was unusually quiet. He smiled as he remembered calling her a chatterbox affectionately in Diagon Alley. He loved hearing her go on and on.

The boy racked his brains on how to begin this conversation. "This is going to be the hardest conversation I'm ever going to have,'' he thought as he pushed his hands in his pockets- a habit he developed since he was at muggle school whenever he was nervous. He was jolted back from his thoughts as Ari began to speak. "So was I,'' he began. Or at least until he spoke to Gwen in the library. "I looked for you at the Gryffindor table at the feast but I hadn't seen you.'' He had wondered where she was though admittedly he had been lost in his own world then.

"Yes, I do,'' Jory responded remembering how he thought his friend had looked relieved and happy and had been puzzled by her reaction back then. Recently, that moment had been flashing before him a lot. Recently meaning after he had talked to Gwen. He had begun to think that maybe there was a chance for him after all but things could have changed in that time he had not seen Ari. Now that she was bringing it up that moment, Jory began to feel a glimmer of hope and now he wanted more than ever to tell her how he felt even if the outcome wasn't what he would hope for. “Is it because you like me? I mean, as more than a friend?’’ he asked looking directly into her eyes. He had never noticed before how beautiful they were.

"Excuuuuuse me, you can't just thump a quidditch player like myself in the back." Theo should think about getting it insured. Dylan would help him out, cos he was a good captain. Feeling all smug-like, Theo folded his arms and puffed out his chest slightly. Yeah, he liked playing the quidditch card.

Why were girls so rude? Theodore hadn't done anything to her right now, cos SHE was the one who just sprung out of nowhere to attack. He was just soldiering on, trying to deal with his wounds. "It only hurt because I have a sore back anyway!" He insisted, giving it a little rub.

Tough times, tough times.

"YESIWAS." Theo always looked where he was going, in case a wild RAVENCLAW appeared to attack him. "I'm just a bit sore from tryouts, give me a BREAK." Seriously.

Lex raised an eyebrow at him when he put special emphasis on the fact that he was a Quidditch player. For a moment she just stood staring at him...not all that sure what to say. Just how important did he think he was? "Umm...I've hit into better players than you and that's never bothered me so what makes you think that declaring you're a Quidditch player will have any effect on me?" By now her head was slightly tilted just so he could know how confused she was by the mere thought of him thinking he was that important.

And of course he was going to continue whining. Why wouldn't he continue whining? He was only a boy afterall. SIGH. "And I have a headache but you don't see me yelling at the sun for making it worse." Though it really was making it worse; the light was hurting her eyes and intensifying the headache that was slowly getting worse thanks to some stubborn second year who refused to just be nice for once. To think she was actually willing to try. Grrr.

This was why she could hardly tolerate boys; they could never take a hint.

"Psssh, I've seen dozens of people trying out and none of them are as sore as yoooouuu." She wouldn't admit that she tried out...just incase she never made the team because she knew he would never let her live it down. So start acting like a man or something; I hear they don't whine for everything." At the start she was trying to be nice but he didn't seem as willing so that approach she simply chucked out the window.

Ah. The feast. Truth be told, she hadn't spent much time at the Gryffindor table. During the Sorting ceremony, she had been at the Ravenclaw table with Gwen and Cassia, playing Guess the House. But that didn't matter now. None of it did.

How could he not remember, after all? It had been a really awkward moment for her. Ariadne wasn't really expecting Jory to come up with an answer so soon. And the right one, at that. The girl remained speechless for a few moments, looking back into Jory's eyes. Her nervousness reached the upper limit, so she diffused the tension with a joke. 'Ten points to Hufflepuff.' the girl chuckled, before turning serious again.

'You're right. I do like you. A lot. And I do want to be more than just friends. I-if that's what you want as well.', she added, biting her lip. It could be great, but she was a bit scared too. Maybe they could overcome this fear together?

Harvey watched her face palm herself, umm oops? He said something wrong? Yes he did! "Ok I got you now" he was about to add to that when she said something that shocked him "You play chicken as well?! Or did Mins tell you that she used to play that game?" either way Taylor had suggested they play the game so it was obvious she knew people did, and by people he meant Mins. He looked at her as she said that she was tired and that she didn't hate Damon. "Taylor some boys can be like that, that they love someone but kinda feel a connection to another. Yes its wrong but it does happen, though I don't think they would date the crush over the one they love. But I guess some things change a little? I don't know" he said as she leaned into him, knowing that he was not helping her at all by saying that. But he had seen it so he knew that it happens and now Damon was doing the same.

Jory laughed when he heard Ari say ten points to Hufflepuff and he could feel his nervousness vanishing. Maybe a tad bit.

And then... she said something that made his heart pound. He thought he had heard wrong but yet he hadn't. She did like him! "You do?'' he asked still not being able to believe it. He took her hands. "I like you very much too,'' he told her sincerely. "And I also wanna be more than friends.''

Jory couldn't remember being more happy in his life. "I began falling for you after we met in Diagon Alley over the summer though I didn't realise it after I came back to Hogwarts,'' he admitted and giving her hands a small squeeze. Then after that question Ari had asked him back then, kept coming back to him, but he had thought it was too good to be true.

The badger now remembered something. ''Hogsmeade just opened. Would you like to join me there?'' he asked hoping his friend- no girlfriend would say yes.
